Abstract

High work demands and emotional pressure in the hospitality industry have the potential to reduce employee performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of workload and burnout on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through a survey of 86 employees of The Wujil Resort & Conventions Hotel. The analysis was carried out using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method using SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that workload and burnout have a significant effect on performance and job satisfaction. Additionally, job satisfaction has been shown to mediate the relationship between workload, burnout, and employee performance. These findings underscore the importance of workload management and burnout prevention to improve employee satisfaction and performance. The novelty of the research lies in the integration of job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the context of the hospitality industry, which is still rarely studied empirically. His practical contributions provide a foundation for hotel management in designing healthier and more productive work strategies.

Abstract

Apocynaceae merupakan salah satu famili tumbuhan tingkat tinggi yang memiliki keanekaragaman sekitar 2.000 spesies yang tersebar di daerah tropis dan subtropis. Salah satu tempat eksplorasi keanekaragaman spesies anggota famili Apocynaceae adalah di Kampus Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta yang memiliki potensi sebagai pertumbuhan berbagai tanaman tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan hubungan kekerabatan spesies anggota famili Apocynaceae berdasarkan karakteristik morfologi di Kampus Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksplorasi.  Sampel yang didapat kemudian diidentifikasi berdasarkan 15 ciri karakteristik morfologi menggunakan kunci determinasi Flora of Java, lalu mendeskripsikan karakter morfologi sesuai fakta di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan sembilan spesies anggota famili Apocynaceae yang terdiri dari lima genus berbeda yaitu spesies Tabernaemontana divaricata L., Tabernaemontana corymbose L., Catharanthus roseus L., Catharanthus lanceus L., Cerbera manghas L., Plumeria acuminata L., Plumeria inodora L., Plumeria alba L., dan Adenium obesum L. Analisis klaster berdasarkan parameter 15 ciri karakter morfologi yang dilakukan menggunakan metode pengelompokan UPGMA (Unweighted Pair Group Method using Arithmetic Average) menghasilkan dua klaster. Hasil analisis komponen utama karakter morfologi yang paling mempengaruhi dalam hasil pengelompokan spesies famili Apocynaceae adalah tipe percabangan, warna bunga, bentuk daun, posisi mahkota bunga, tipe perbungaan, pangkal daun, habitus, bentuk buah dan biji.

Abstract

In the increasingly rapid development of information technology, the education sector is experiencing the digital transformation, such as academic information systems (Siakad). Siakad is an academic system built to make easy to be used for academic users, in order to doing some academic activities. This study intented to assess the performance of educational staff through education, competence, and knowledge sharing in the implementation of the Academic Information System in Darul Ulum Islamic Centre Sudirman GUPPI University. A survey-based research method was used in this study, involving 45 respondents from the total educational staff. Data were collected by distributing a questionnaire by google form to all educational staff using a likerts scale. The data analysis method employed was multiple linear regression with the aid of IBM SPSS Statistic 25 version. The results of this study indicate that the variables of education have a significant value of (0,30<0.05), indicating that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that the education variable significantly affects the performance of the academic information system. Similarly, the competence variable have a significance value of (0,25<0,05 indicating that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that the competence variable significantly affects the performance of the academic information system. Howeve,r the knowledge sharing variable have a significance value of (0,87>0,05), resulting in the rejection of Ha and the acceptance of Ho, indicating that knowledge sharing does not significantly affect the performance of the academic information system. Abstract

One of the keys to successfully starting a business is the ability to express brilliant ideas or insights that are creative and innovative and have high economic/commercial value into a proper and realistic business plan. One of the efforts that can be carried out to improve student competence is to prepare a business plan through training and mentoring. This community service activity (PKM) is a systematic service activity, namely a team of lecturers from Undaris Kab. Semarang collaborating with Diplomat Success Challenge (DSC). PKM activities are carried out using the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. The total number of participants was 183 students. The stages carried out in this service are the planning stage, the implementation stage (presentation of material by the speakers, discussions, work practices), and the evaluation stage. The results of the service found that participants were able to take part in interactive activities, some participants were able to compile business plan proposals and submit their proposals via the web at https://www.diplomatsukses.com/; and participants were very satisfied with the activities carried out. Further recommendations are to be carried out more intensively and target participants more broadly in the form of training and mentoring activities.

Abstract

Tujuan. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mendapati bagaimana pengaruh motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PMI Kota Semarang. Metode. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 44 karyawan yang diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, di mana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil. Motivasi kerja tidak mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, namun dipengaruhi oleh disiplin kerja, dan dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan kerja. Sementara itu, motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja semuanya mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Implikasi. Organisasi perlu menitikberatkan perhatiannya pada penguatan kedisiplinan, penyediaan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan mendukung, serta merancang pendekatan motivasi yang lebih relevan dan efektif sesuai dengan karakteristik serta kebutuhan para karyawan.

Abstract

Tujuan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pengurus Pondok Pesanttren As Salafy All-Asror di Kota Semarang. Metode. Studi dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan seluruh pengurus pondok sebagai responden, yang berjumlah 50 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, dan analisisnya menggunakan bantuan program SPSS versi 26, mencakup uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linier berganda, serta uji t dan F. Hasil. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pengurus. Artinya, semakin disiplin seseorang dan semakin kondusif lingkungan kerjanya, maka kinerjanya pun cenderung meningkat. Sementara itu, motivasi kerja tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan secara parsial, bahkan cenderung negatif, kemungkinan karena bentuk motivasi yang diterapkan belum tepat sasaran. Namun, ketika ketiga variabel diuji secara simultan, semuanya secara bersamaa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pengurus, dengan kontribusi sebanyak 53,5%. Implikasi. Pentingnya bagi pihak pondok untuk lebih memperhatikan penegakan kedisiplinan dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman serta mendukung. Selain itu, pemberian motivasi juga perlu dievaluasi dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan nyata pengurus agar benar-benar mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja.

Abstract

Microalgae give an idea of the fertility of a body of water because the more microalgae in a body of water, the more fertile the water is. This research aims to determine the structure of the microalgae community in the Umbul water tourism area of Klaten Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a survey method. The data collection technique uses purposive sampling with hand-collection techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Shanon-Wiener diversity index (H'), species evenness index, dominance index, and species richness index as well as looking at physical and chemical parameters to determine water quality. The most common microalgae come from the Bacillariophceae and Cyanophyceae classes.The Shannon-Wiener diversity index for the three stations is in the stable category but the highest index value is at station III at 2.860 and the lowest index value at station I is 2.427. The highest species evenness index was at station I, namely 0.864, and the lowest index at station II was 0.764, so the species evenness index was stable. The highest Dominance Index at station II is 0.13 but is still close to 0 so the dominance index is low. The highest species richness index was at station III and the lowest at station II was 4.83. According to the results of the Umbul Nilo diversity index, Umbul Ponggok and Umbul Sigedang are included in the unpolluted category

Abstract

Program Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akses dan mutu pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas implementasi dana BOS dalam mendukung operasional sekolah, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, serta peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan dana. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dana BOS digunakan untuk berbagai kebutuhan sekolah, termasuk belanja bahan ajar, honor tenaga pendidik, serta pengadaan sarana dan prasarana. Efektivitas program terlihat dari meningkatnya angka partisipasi siswa, terutama dari kalangan ekonomi menengah ke bawah. Transparansi pengelolaan dana diwujudkan melalui laporan keuangan yang dapat diakses oleh stakeholder, mencegah potensi penyalahgunaan dana. Namun, tantangan seperti keterlambatan pencairan dana dan perbedaan kebutuhan antar sekolah masih sering terjadi. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam memastikan dana BOS dialokasikan sesuai kebutuhan dan mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Sekolah dengan kepala sekolah yang memiliki keterampilan manajerial yang baik cenderung lebih sukses dalam memanfaatkan dana BOS secara optimal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan evaluasi berkala, penguatan kompetensi kepala sekolah dan bendahara BOS, serta peningkatan pengawasan agar program BOS dapat terus memberikan manfaat yang berkelanjutan bagi dunia pendidikan di Kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

The number of traffic accidents has continued to increase from year to year, which is certainly very concerning. Human error remains the main cause of traffic accidents, while traffic awareness should be the responsibility of all members of society. Changing the mindset regarding the lack of traffic awareness is not an easy task; it requires persistence, seriousness, and continuity. The Community Service Team of FEB Undaris strives to contribute to building traffic awareness among FEB Undaris students through a Safety Riding and Smart Driving socialization program, by presenting certified experts in smart and defensive driving training. This community service activity was carried out through the presentation of Safety Riding and Smart Driving materials and class-based discussions using a qualitative approach with the on-class method, targeting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Undaris, in Semarang Regency. The program was held at the HM Mansur Auditorium, Undaris, Semarang Regency.
