Abstract

Tujuan. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mendapati bagaimana pengaruh motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PMI Kota Semarang. Metode. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 44 karyawan yang diambil menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, di mana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil. Motivasi kerja tidak mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, namun dipengaruhi oleh disiplin kerja, dan dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan kerja. Sementara itu, motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja semuanya mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Implikasi. Organisasi perlu menitikberatkan perhatiannya pada penguatan kedisiplinan, penyediaan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan mendukung, serta merancang pendekatan motivasi yang lebih relevan dan efektif sesuai dengan karakteristik serta kebutuhan para karyawan.

Abstract

Tujuan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pengurus Pondok Pesanttren As Salafy All-Asror di Kota Semarang. Metode. Studi dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan seluruh pengurus pondok sebagai responden, yang berjumlah 50 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, dan analisisnya menggunakan bantuan program SPSS versi 26, mencakup uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi linier berganda, serta uji t dan F. Hasil. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pengurus. Artinya, semakin disiplin seseorang dan semakin kondusif lingkungan kerjanya, maka kinerjanya pun cenderung meningkat. Sementara itu, motivasi kerja tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan secara parsial, bahkan cenderung negatif, kemungkinan karena bentuk motivasi yang diterapkan belum tepat sasaran. Namun, ketika ketiga variabel diuji secara simultan, semuanya secara bersamaa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pengurus, dengan kontribusi sebanyak 53,5%. Implikasi. Pentingnya bagi pihak pondok untuk lebih memperhatikan penegakan kedisiplinan dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman serta mendukung. Selain itu, pemberian motivasi juga perlu dievaluasi dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan nyata pengurus agar benar-benar mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja.

Abstract

Microalgae give an idea of the fertility of a body of water because the more microalgae in a body of water, the more fertile the water is. This research aims to determine the structure of the microalgae community in the Umbul water tourism area of Klaten Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a survey method. The data collection technique uses purposive sampling with hand-collection techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Shanon-Wiener diversity index (H'), species evenness index, dominance index, and species richness index as well as looking at physical and chemical parameters to determine water quality. The most common microalgae come from the Bacillariophceae and Cyanophyceae classes.The Shannon-Wiener diversity index for the three stations is in the stable category but the highest index value is at station III at 2.860 and the lowest index value at station I is 2.427. The highest species evenness index was at station I, namely 0.864, and the lowest index at station II was 0.764, so the species evenness index was stable. The highest Dominance Index at station II is 0.13 but is still close to 0 so the dominance index is low. The highest species richness index was at station III and the lowest at station II was 4.83. According to the results of the Umbul Nilo diversity index, Umbul Ponggok and Umbul Sigedang are included in the unpolluted category

Abstract

Program Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akses dan mutu pendidikan di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas implementasi dana BOS dalam mendukung operasional sekolah, peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, serta peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan dana. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dana BOS digunakan untuk berbagai kebutuhan sekolah, termasuk belanja bahan ajar, honor tenaga pendidik, serta pengadaan sarana dan prasarana. Efektivitas program terlihat dari meningkatnya angka partisipasi siswa, terutama dari kalangan ekonomi menengah ke bawah. Transparansi pengelolaan dana diwujudkan melalui laporan keuangan yang dapat diakses oleh stakeholder, mencegah potensi penyalahgunaan dana. Namun, tantangan seperti keterlambatan pencairan dana dan perbedaan kebutuhan antar sekolah masih sering terjadi. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam memastikan dana BOS dialokasikan sesuai kebutuhan dan mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Sekolah dengan kepala sekolah yang memiliki keterampilan manajerial yang baik cenderung lebih sukses dalam memanfaatkan dana BOS secara optimal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan evaluasi berkala, penguatan kompetensi kepala sekolah dan bendahara BOS, serta peningkatan pengawasan agar program BOS dapat terus memberikan manfaat yang berkelanjutan bagi dunia pendidikan di Kabupaten Semarang.

Abstract

The number of traffic accidents has continued to increase from year to year, which is certainly very concerning. Human error remains the main cause of traffic accidents, while traffic awareness should be the responsibility of all members of society. Changing the mindset regarding the lack of traffic awareness is not an easy task; it requires persistence, seriousness, and continuity. The Community Service Team of FEB Undaris strives to contribute to building traffic awareness among FEB Undaris students through a Safety Riding and Smart Driving socialization program, by presenting certified experts in smart and defensive driving training. This community service activity was carried out through the presentation of Safety Riding and Smart Driving materials and class-based discussions using a qualitative approach with the on-class method, targeting students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Undaris, in Semarang Regency. The program was held at the HM Mansur Auditorium, Undaris, Semarang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of recruitment, work-life balance, and organizational culture on organizational commitment among employees of Taman Bunga Celosia Bandungan. The research background arises from indications of low organizational commitment, which is presumed to be affected by recruitment practices that are not yet fully competency-based, limited work-life balance policies, and a hierarchical organizational culture. This study employs an associative quantitative approach with a sample of 124 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through simple and multiple linear regression using SPSS 25. The results indicate that recruitment, work-life balance, and organizational culture each have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Simultaneously, these three variables also exhibit a significant influence, contributing 67.7% to organizational commitment, while the remaining 32.3% is affected by other factors outside the research model. These findings highlight the importance of transparent recruitment practices, adequate work–life balance policies, and an adaptive organizational culture in enhancing employee commitment.

Abstract

Health worker performance is a key factor in ensuring the quality of hospital services, especially in institutions with high workloads and strict operational standards. A decline in health worker performance can directly affect service quality and organisational image, requiring empirical studies to identify the factors that influence it. This study aims to analyse the influence of work–life balance, employee engagement, and organisational culture on the performance of healthcare workers at Bhayangkara AKPOL Hospital. This study uses a quantitative, explanatory design. The study population consists of all healthcare workers currently working at Bhayangkara AKPOL Hospital, and sampling is conducted using the census method, so the entire population serves as the study sample. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale and analysed using simple and multiple linear regression in SPSS. The results showed that work–life balance and organisational culture had a positive and significant effect on the performance of healthcare workers. In contrast, employee engagement did not have a significant partial impact. Simultaneously, all three variables had a significant effect on healthcare workers' performance. These findings highlight the importance of managing work–life balance and strengthening organisational culture as managerial strategies for sustainably improving healthcare workers' performance.

Abstract

A volatile and uncertain business environment requires organisations to have employees who are agile in adapting. However, job insecurity can affect employees' psychological conditions and potentially hinder adaptive behaviour. Therefore, resilience is considered important as the ability to survive and thrive amid the pressures of change. This study aims to analyse the influence of organisational culture and job insecurity on employee agility, with employee resilience as a mediating variable. This is a quantitative study using a survey method. The study population consisted of 600 permanent employees in the accessories division of the garment industry in Semarang Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the following criteria: permanent employees with at least 1 year of service, experiencing changes in the work system/environmental pressure, and willingness to participate, resulting in 220 respondents. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analysed using the Partial Least Squares approach to Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS). The results showed that organisational culture contributed positively to resilience and employee agility. In this study, job insecurity was also associated with increased resilience and employee agility. Resilience was found to act as a mediator bridging the influence of organisational culture and job insecurity on employee agility. The implications of this study emphasise the importance of strengthening adaptive culture, ensuring clear organisational communication, and developing resilience-building programmes to maintain employee agility in the face of change.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah faktor utama yang terdiri dari motivasi, kreativitas, dan sikap mandiri dapat mempengaruhi usaha perempuan untuk mengembangkan jiwa kewirausahaan dalam mewujudkan kebebasan finansial di Kabupaten Semarang. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya pelaku usaha yang sebagian besar adalah perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui kuesioner terhadap 96 responden yang merupakan pelaku usaha perempuan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak pintar PLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama yang diteliti hanya sikap mandiri yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap jiwa kewirausahaan, sedangkan jiwa kewirausahaan sebagai variabel intermediet juga tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kebebasan finansial. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya karakter pribadi dalam membentuk jiwa kewirausahaan.Kata kunci : motivasi, kreativitas, kemandirian, jiwa kewirausahaan, kebebasan finansial. Abstract

Critical thinking is a core 21st-century competency; however, evidence shows that many Indonesian students struggle with higher-order cognitive tasks. In a Surakarta public high school, over 50% of the Grade 10 students answered C3–C6 biology items incorrectly. The average student score represents 62.86, which falls below the minimum passing grade of 75. This significant gap indicates that lecture-based instruction provides insufficient support for student learning. This study examined the effectiveness of integrating Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI) into Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) to improve students' critical thinking on environmental pollution. A quantitative quasi-experimental pretest–posttest design was applied to two homogeneous classes (n=36 each) selected from a total of 324 students: an experimental class receiving SSI-based POGIL and a control class receiving conventional instruction. Critical thinking was measured using a validated 10-item essay test with five indicators, supported by observations, interviews, and document analysis. Analyses were conducted using SPSS and N-gain software. The experimental class achieved a higher mean critical thinking score than the control class (89.4 vs. 56.6), with significant pre–post improvement in the experimental group (p=0.00<0.05) but not in the control group (p=0.20). The SSI-based POGIL implementation strongly correlated with critical thinking gains (r=0.835; p=0.000) and yielded a high N-gain (0.76). Observations showed the strongest performance in concluding with evidence (2.67/3.00) and a weaker performance in interpreting problems using local pollution cases over three 80-minute meetings. These findings indicate that SSI-based POGIL can enhance critical thinking in environmental pollution learning, although generalizability is limited by the small sample size.
