Abstract

Tulisan ini berusaha untuk melihat aspek-aspek penting yang mempengaruhi peneyelenggara pemilu agar mampu melaksanakan Pemilu yang Luber dan Jurdil. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah hasil mayoritas yang diterima sebagai Vox Populi Vox Dei yang dalam Bahasa Indonesia adalah “Suara Rakyat adalah Suara Tuhan”. Tidak berhenti pada perhitungan suara mayoritas, tetapi tujuan akhir proses Pemilu atau tujuan perjuangan partai politik dan pemilih yaitu kepentingan bersama (bonum commune) sebagaimana direfleksikan oleh Santo Thomas Aquinas. Sayang bahwa harapan di atas ibarat “panggang jauh dari api” yaitu masih jauh dari harapan dan kenyataan. Hal itu terungkap dari setiap kali pelaksanaan pemilu termasuk pemilu 2024 menuai berbagai ketidak puasan dan issu kecurangan yang ditujukan kepada penyelenggara pemilu. Tentu saja tuduhan kecurangan yang ditujukan kepada penyelenggara pemilu masih harus dibuktikan tetapi tuduhan itu juga tidak bisa diabaikan begitu saja. Pemillihan umum sangat berkaitan erat dengan penyelenggaraan demokrasi. Bahkan, kualitas pemilihan umum atau pemilu menjadi indikator penting untuk melihat kualitas praktek demokrasi di sebuah negara. Demokrasi berarti pemerintahan dari rakyat, oleh rakyat, dan untuk rakyat. Hal tersebut mengandung makna bahwa kekuasaan negara berada di tangan rakyat. Dalam kehidupan politik modern yang demokratis, pemilu berfungsi sebagai suatu jalan dalam pergantian dan perebutan kekuasaan yang dilakukan dengan regulasi, norma, dan etika. Sehingga penentuan pemerintahan yang akan berkuasa ditentukan secara damai dan beradab. Pemilihan tersebut dapat dilakukan secara langsung yaitu rakyat ikut memberikan suara. Pengukuran dapat dilakukan dengan melihat perolehan suara. Pokok yang lebih dalam yang mau diteliti dalam tulisan ini adalah faktor apakah yang mempengaruhi para pelaksana agar mampu melaksanakan Pemilu yang Luber dan Jurdil. Ada sejumlah aspek atau faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksana agar bisa melaksanakan dan mengawal bissa tidaknya berlangsung Pemilu yang Luber dan Jujur. Faktor yam mempengaruhi yang dibahas dalam tulisan ini: Etika Politik, Kesadaran Moral dan Kesadaran Hukum. Semakin tinggi kualitas dan kedewasaan tiga variabel di atas maka akan terjadi pelaksanaan pemilu yang Luber dan Jurdil yang menghasilkan hasil suara yang murni yaitu yang bisa diterima sebagai Populis Vox Dei yang pada akhirnya demi Kepentingan Bersama (Bonum Commune) sebagaimana direfleksikan oleh Santo Thomas Aquinas.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 071218 Fondakoraya, South Nias Regency, for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employed a quantitative research method and a pre-experimental research design. The population of this research was all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 071218 Fondakoraya. The sample was selected using saturated sampling, where all 30 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 071218 Fondakoraya were included as the sample. To ascertain the students' initial abilities, the researcher conducted a pre-test with an average score of 45.56, which falls into the "needs guidance" category. Following the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model, the students' learning outcomes showed an improvement in the post-test, with an average score of 82.93, categorized as "good." The increase in the level of success of students' learning outcomes was evidenced by the correlation test result, which yielded a value of 0.975, indicating a very strong correlation, meaning that rcount​ (0.975) ≥ rtable​ (0.361). Furthermore, the hypothesis testing (t-test) showed that tcount​ ≥ ttable​, specifically 23.442 ≥ 1.697, thus indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. This demonstrates that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 071218 Fondakoraya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model based on time board media on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in class II UPT SD Nrgeri 068004 Medan Tuntungan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. To obtain the required data, a test instrument of 30 questions. The number of research samples was 31 students based on the purposive sample technique. To determine the initial abilities of students, the study conducted a Pre Test with an average score of 49.93 which was in the less category. The results of the Post Test have an increase from the results of the Pre Test given previously with an average student score reaching 73.54 in the good category. It can be said that the level of success of student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation obtained the results of r_count ≥ r_table with a result of 0,814 ≥ 0,344. Furthermore, the hypothesis test that compares the value of t_count ≥ t_table. The value of t_count = 7,546 while t_table = 1,696. Because t_count ≥ t_table (7,546 ≥ 1,696) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model based on time board media (X) on student learning outcomes (Y).

Abstract

This research analyzed the kinds of slangword used in harry potter and the chamber of secrets movie. The objectives of this research were to find out the kinds of slang word in harry potter and the chamber of secrets movie, found the most dominant kind of slang word used and the meaning of the most dominant slang word that used. This research applied descriptive qualitative research. The source of data was Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets movie. There were one season film had been analyzed. Based on the analysis, there were three kinds of slang word used in harry potter and the chamber of secrets movie, there were fresh and creative slang word, compounding slang word, and imitative slang word. It consisted of 32 slang word of fresh and creative (82,7%), 51 slang word of compounding (59%), and 3 imitative of slang word (4%). The slang word “muggle” most dominant slang word used in this movie.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of applying the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) strategy on students’ reading comprehension of descriptive texts among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 32 Medan. The research was motivated by observations that students struggled with reading comprehension due to monotonous teaching methods that lacked student engagement. Using an experimental design, the study involved two groups: the experimental group was taught using the TPS strategy, while the control group received conventional instruction. Both groups completed a pre-test and post-test comprising multiple-choice questions focused on descriptive texts. The results revealed a significant improvement in the reading comprehension scores of students in the experimental group. The mean score of the experimental group increased from 48.5 in the pre-test to 78.625 in the post-test, whereas the control group showed only a slight improvement, from 56.25 to 58.75. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test confirmed the effectiveness of the TPS strategy in enhancing students’ reading comprehension. These findings suggest that the TPS strategy is a beneficial approach for improving student engagement and comprehension in reading, particularly for descriptive texts.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di sekolah dasar menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti rendahnya minat belajar dan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa yang belum optimal. Kondisi ini diperburuk oleh dominasi metode konvensional seperti ceramah yang kurang menarik, sehingga siswa cenderung pasif dan kesulitan memahami konsep-konsep IPAS yang bersifat abstrak. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dan media pop up book yang bersifat interaktif dan visual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media pop up book terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 040481 Cintarakyat Tahun Pembelajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain pretest dan posttest terhadap 40 siswa sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari pretest sebesar 65,25 menjadi 82,75 pada posttest. Berdasarkan uji-t diperoleh nilai t_hitung = 5,247 dan t_tabel = 1,684, sehingga Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran STAD berbantuan media pop up book berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa.

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students of State Elementary School 167643 Tebing Tinggi as seen from the results of daily test scores. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods and one group pretest-posttest design. The type of sample used is total sampling. The research sample used was 37 fourth grade students. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Assisted by Baamboozle on the Learning Outcomes of Fourth Grade Students in the Science Subject at State Elementary School 167643 Tebing Tinggi in the 2024/2025 Academic Year, including the good category with an average of 78.59. The results of this study indicate that the results of the correlation test can be seen in the correlation coefficient value of 0.732, meaning that r_count (0.732)> r_table (0.324) means that Ha is accepted. So there is a strong influence between the Problem Based Learning Assisted by Baamboozle learning model on student learning outcomes. It can also be seen from the results of the t-test where t_count> t_table, namely 6.365> 1.687, thus stating that Ha is accepted. This shows a significant influence of the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Baamboozle on the science learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Negeri 167643 Tebing Tinggi in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Theme 8 Our Friend's Environment Class V of State Elementary School 155701 Pahieme 2 Learning Year 2023/2024. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. The total research sample was 30 students based on purposive sampling technique. To determine students' initial abilities, the research conducted a Pre Test with an average score of 52.63 which was in the poor category. The results of the Post Test have improved from the Pre Test results given previously with the students' average score reaching 75.53 in the good category. It can be said that the level of success in student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation, which obtained r_count ≥ r_tabel with results of 0.766 ≥ 0.361. Next, hypothesis testing is comparing the t_count≥ t_table values. The obtained value of t_count = 6.311 while t_table = 1.697. Because t_count ≤ t_table (6.311 ≥ 1.697) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes.
