Abstract

Jaringan Instalasi listrik penerangan adalah sistem yang digunakan untuk menyalurkan energi listrik, yang dihubungkan dengan kabel berstandar SNI, pada pengabdian dijelaskan teori – teori dasar tentang listrik dan bagaimana cara pengawatan, keamanan instalasi yang sesuai dengan persyaratan umum instalasi listrik (PUIL) yang berlaku, setelah pengetahuan teori ini, maka dilanjutkan dengan melakukan perakitan instalasi yang baik dan sesuai dengan persyaratan umum instalasi listrik, setelah pemsangan instalasi baik dan benar maka dilakukan pengujian. dari hasil pengujian didapat jumlah pengetahuan peserta dan praktik para peserta dalam memahami teori dan praktik berjumlah 98 – 99 % dan jumlah ketidakpemahaman para peserta berkisar 1 – 2 % saja dalam hal teori dan praktik. pengabdian ini dilaksnakan selama 3 kali pertemuan dengan pembahasan teori dan praktek.

Abstract

The generator is a device for an important source of electrical energy, so the continuity of the generator operation must be maintained and well controlled, in controlling the grounding on the generator can use in control with software such as MATLAB and Modeling the design of the grid grounding system using LabView 2017, Determination of the grounding system for the neutral value of the generator through the distribution transformer, can be done through manual calculation. The use of many parameters considered in the calculation to obtain appropriate and measurable results there is a possibility of repeated calculations. This is very difficult and causes a large difference in calculation results. Therefore, a computer-based computing system is needed to overcome problems like this. Several papers have developed calculations of the amount of generator neutral grounding required that consider the voltage level, short circuit fault current and ground fault protection system. This paper discusses modeling and simulation in designing generator neutral grounding using LabView 2017 application. The goal is to be easier, faster and more accurate. As an implementation of modeling, data from std C62.92.2TM-2017 is used.

Abstract

Konverter analog ke digital telah memainkan peranan penting karena sistem digital memiliki banyak keunggulan yang tidak dimiliki oleh sistem analog. Hal tersebut dibuktikan oleh sistem digital yang telah banyak diaplikasikan di berbagai bidang yang meliputi sistem telekomunikasi dan navigasi serta sistem kontrol. Keakuratan konverter dalam mengkonversi analog ke digital menentukan kualitas suatu sistem digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja dua rangkaian konverter analog ke digital yang masing-masing berbasis integrated circuit (IC) ADC0804 dan IC ADC0809. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simulasi dan metode pengukuran. Formula statistik berupa mean error dan standard deviation error (SDE) juga digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat keakuratan setiap rangkaian konverter. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 200 sample yang terdiri dari 100 sample hasil simulasi dan 100 sample hasil pengukuran. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan diperoleh bahwa ME dan SDE hasil simulasi rangkaian konverter berbasis IC ADC0809 adalah 0,6010 dan 0,5110. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil pengukuran diperoleh ME 1,3010 dan standar deviasi 1,3810. Rangkaian konverter berbasis IC ADC0804 memiliki ME dan SDE masing-masing 1,5310 dan 0,6110 untuk hasil simulasi sedangkan untuk hasil pengukuran 2,3710 dan 1,4410. Nilai mean error dan standar deviasi rangkaian konverter berbasis IC ADC0809 lebih kecil baik berdasarkan hasil simulasi maupun hasil pengukuran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa rangkaian konverter berbasis IC ADC0809 lebih akurat dari pada rangkaian konverter berbasis IC ADC0804.

Abstract

Email is an internet facility for sending electronic mail. Although there is a webmail that provides standard security but for e-mail attachment documents when sending e-mail there are lots of eavesdropping, forgery, infiltration,and spamming so needed security of email. Authentication is identification carried out by each communicating party so sender and recipient of information trust each other. Although message authentication has been carried out, it is still possible for both parties to attack each other. This study aims to apply digital signatures in testing the integrity and authentication of document attachments email using the schnorr algorithm. SHA-1 hash function is used for verification, Results show that contents of email attachment will produce a different Message Digest if prime numbers are different, so cryptanalysts can’t solve it. Differences in Message Digest occur because different prime numbers cause differences in private keys and public keys. Private key and public key pairs are synchronous so sender and recipient are verified correctly. If there are changes or removed just one character from contents of document will result in a very significant Message Digest change. If someone changes contents of document or key, so verification process to be incorrect and recipient of information knows that document he received is no longer valid. Schnorr method is a strategy to provide document attachment security in emails that is better than security applied to standard emails

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangun kebutuhan fuel generator set secara otomatis pada tangki harian dan tangki bulanan sederhana sesuai dengan kebutuhan bahan bakar genset pada bandar udara. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode pengamatan atau analisis, observasi, pengetesan fungsi sistem dan pengukuran dengan menggunakan alat bantu ukur. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dilapangan diperoleh sistem kontrol fuel treatment tangki bulanan ke tangki fuel harian pada power station berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan operasional sistem bahan bakar energi cadangan berupa generator set dengan sistem otomatis. Sistem ini juga memenuhi kaidah keselamatan untuk penggunaan fuel bahan bakar dengan aman, efisien dan otomatis, sehingga sistem ini efektif digunakan baik dari segi keamanaan maupun dari segi keselamatan dalam operasional keselamatan penerbangan dibandar udara.   Kata  kunci— Listrik, Fuel, Pemipaan, Otomatis   ABSTRACT   This study aims to design an automatic fuel generator set requirement for a simple daily tank and a simple monthly tank according to the generator set fuel requirements at the airport. The research method carried out in this study is to use the method of observation or analysis, observation, system function testing and measurement using measuring tools. Based on the results of tests carried out in the field, the control system for monthly fuel treatment tanks to daily fuel tanks at the power station is functioning properly and can be used for the operational purposes of a backup energy fuel system in the form of a generator set with an automatic system. This system also meets the safety rules for the safe, efficient and automatic use of fuel, so that this system is effectively used both in terms of security and in terms of safety in aviation safety operations at airports.   Keywords— Automatic , Electric , Fuel , Piping

Abstract

Abstract: The continuous use of an electric motor in some industries causes the electric motor to malfunction early. Such damage is generally caused by overheating. Therefore, to overcome the problem of overheating, most industries use two motors that work alternately. Both electric motors function as running and standby which are generally controlled manually by the operator or using a time delay relay (TDR). However, the control of both motors by the operator is not effective because it allows human error to occur. The use of TDR is also ineffective because it does not make the temperature of the electric motor a reference in controlling the work of the two electric motors. This research aims to produce a prototype that can monitor the temperature of the electric motor in real-time and control the electric motor based on the temperature of the electric motor. The Wemos D1R2 is used as a processor to control both electric motors and transmit the temperature of the electric motor to a smartphone via the internet. The MLX90614 sensor is used as an infrared-based temperature sensor. Based on the results of testing the overall performance of the prototype, it is known that the temperature readings of the electric motor are quite accurate with mean error and standard deviation of 0.13oC and 0.15oC, respectively. The prototype is also capable of controlling both electric motors automatically and controlling a cooler via a smartphone.            Keywords: Electric Motor; MLX90614; Overheating; Wemos D1R2.  Abstrak: Penggunaan sebuah motor listrik secara terus menerus pada sebagian industri menyebabkan motor listrik tersebut mengalami kerusakan lebih awal. Kerusakan tersebut umumnya disebabkan oleh panas berlebih. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi masalah panas berlebih tersebut maka sebagian besar industri menggunakan dua buah motor yang bekerja secara bergantian. Kedua motor listrik tersebut difungsikan sebagai running dan standby yang mana umumnya dikendalikan secara manual oleh operator atau menggunakan time delay relay (TDR). Namun, pengendalian kedua motor oleh operator tidaklah efektif karena memungkinkan terjadinya human error. Penggunaan TDR juga tidak efektif karena tidak menjadikan suhu motor listrik sebagai acuan dalam mengendalikan kerja kedua motor listrik tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah prototipe yang mampu mengawasi suhu motor listrik secara real-time dan mengendalikan motor listrik berdasarkan suhu motor listrik. Wemos D1R2 digunakan sebagai prosesor untuk mengendalikan kedua motor listrik dan mengirimkan suhu motor listrik ke smartphone melalui internet. Sensor MLX90614 digunakan sebagai sensor suhu berbasis infra merah. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian kinerja prototipe secara keseluruhan diketahui bahwa hasil pembacaan suhu motor listrik cukup akurat dengan mean error dan standar deviasi masing-masing 0,13oC dan 0,15oC. Prototipe juga mampu mengontrol kedua motor listrik secara otomatis dan mengontrol sebuah pendingin melalui smartphone. Kata kunci: Motor Listrik; MLX90614; Panas Berlebih; Wemos D1R2.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kontrol dan monitoring arus listrik CCR pada lampu PAPI di Bandar Udara Silangit. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dengan cara pengamatan dan pengukuran. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, minimal 2,2 Ampere dan arus maksimum yang dibutuhkan untuk intensitas besar adalah 6,5 Ampere dengan kenaikan arus 5 langkah. Intensitas dan besarnya arus yang didapat memiliki nilai stabil dari hasil perbandingan monitoring dan pengukuran dilapangan pacu bandara.   Kata  kunci— CCR, Intensitas Cahaya, Landasan Pacu Bandara, Sistem Penerangan   ABSTRACT   The purpose of this study was to analyze the control and monitoring of CCR electric current on PAPI lamps at Silangit Airport. Data collection uses observation by means of observation and measurement. Based on the data obtained, a minimum of 2.2 Ampere and the maximum current required for large intensity is 6.5 Ampere with a current increase of 5 steps. The intensity and magnitude of the flow obtained have a stable value from the comparison results of monitoring and measurement on the airport runway.   Keywords— Airport Runway, CCR, Light Intensity, Lighting System

Abstract

Community service activities aim to provide participants with experience using Canva to create more interactive learning media and increase participants' motivation in teaching. Canva is currently the most popular website application for graphic design and brand building. Participants can also use Canva as a learning medium; they can also use Canva for social media and to support school activities. Participants can take advantage of better and more templates with Canva Pro. This training was attended by 17 participants: school principals, teachers, and administrative participants. The methods include lectures, question-and-answer discussions, demonstrations, and group presentations. The evaluation showed participants could make PowerPoint presentations, flyers, and class schedules. In the results of the questionnaire recapitulation from 17 participants, the maximum score was 100, obtained from respondents with an average score of 92, with the highest participant score being 100 and a minimum score of 83. Apart from teachers, students can also use the Canva application.

Abstract

Operational forecasting of solar radiation is critical for better decision-making by solar energy system operators, due to the variability of energy resources and demand. Although the numerical weather forecasting (NWP) model can predict solar radiation variables, there are often significant errors, especially in direct normal irradiation (DNI), which are influenced by the type and concentration of aerosols and clouds. This paper presents an artificial neural network (ANN) based method to generate operational DNI forecasts using weather and aerosol forecast data from the European Center for medium-range weather forecasts (ECMWF) and Copernicus atmospheric monitoring service (CAMS) respectively. The ANN model is designed to predict weather and aerosol variables at a certain time as input, while other models use the DNI forecast improvement period before the instant forecast. The model was developed using North Sumatra location observations and obtained DNI forecasting results every 10 minutes on the first day with DNI forecasting compared to the initial forecasting which was scaled down with the R2, mean absolute error (MAE), and relative mean square error (RMSE) models were 0.6753, 151.2, and 210.2 W/m2, so that and provides good agreement with experimental data.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dari Politeknik Penerbangan Medan dilaksanakan dengan mitra Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa, yang berlokasi dekat dengan Bandar Udara Internasional Kualanamu Deli Serdang, jarak sekolah dengan Bandara kurang lebih 19 km. berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tim pengabdian melakukan edukasi keamanan penerbangan kepada guru dan siswa. Keamanan Penerbangan adalahsuatu keadaan yang memberikan perlindungan kepada penerbangan dari tindakan melawan hukum melalui keterpaduan pemanfaatan sumber dayamanusia, fasilitas, dan prosedur. Metode yang diterapkan tim pengabdian adalah memberikan ceramah dan tanya jawab serta contoh – contoh kejadian nyata yang terjadi di dunia penerbangan, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan memberikan test kepada peserta menggunakan aplikasi kahoot. Hasil pretest total 36 orang peserta terdapat 23 orang dengan nilai dibawah 70 dan 13 orang dengan nilai di atas 70. Setelah diberikan edukasi, peserta mengalami peningkatan nilai yaitu sebanyak 25 orang peserta dan 11 peserta tidak mengalami peningkatan. Outcome yang kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat terutama para siswa di lingkungan sekitar Bandar Udara lebih memahami pentingnya penerapan keamanan penerbangan sipil sehingga keselamatan penerbangan dapat terwujud.The Community Service Activities of the Medan Aviation Polytechnic are carried out with partners from Tanjung Morawa 1 Public High School, which is located close to Kualanamu Deli Serdang International Airport, the distance between the school and the airport is approximately 19 km. Based on this, the service team conducts aviation safety education for teachers and students. Aviation Security is a situation that provides protection to aviation from acts against the law through the integrated use of human resources, facilities and procedures. The method used by the service team is to give lectures and questions and answers as well as examples of real events that occurred in the world of aviation, then proceed with giving tests to participants using the kahoot application. The pretest results for a total of 36 participants included 23 people with scores below 70 and 13 people with scores above 70. After being given education, the participants experienced an increase in scores, namely 25 participants and 11 participants did not experience an increase. The outcome of this community service activity is that the community, especially students in the environment around the airport, understand more about the importance of implementing civil aviation security so that aviation safety can be realized.
