Abstract

Despite the rapid growth of digital transformation in Indonesia, many firms still face challenges such as limited digital literacy, unequal infrastructure, and high implementation costs, which hinder their ability to fully leverage technology to enhance customer experience and achieve a competitive advantage. Drawing on Dynamic Capability Theory, this research examines how digital transformation initiatives influence competitive advantage through enhanced customer experience in the context of a developing economy. The data for this research were collected using an online questionnaire of 350 managers and business leaders from Indonesian companies that have implemented digital transformation initiatives. The sampling criteria included companies with at least one digital transformation initiative implemented in the past two years and respondents with direct involvement in digital transformation programs. Using structural equation modeling for analysis, this study’s results reveal that digital transformation positively influences both directly and indirectly to competitive advantage through customer experience mediation. The findings of this study indicate that customer experience takes a significantly mediating role in translating digital transformation efforts into competitive advantages. Furthermore, the research demonstrates that despite implementation challenges in developing countries, companies can successfully leverage digital transformation to enhance their competitive position through improved customer experience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of tourist motivation and interest in visiting on Joy of Missing Out (JOMO) at the Bogor Botanical Gardens tourist destination. JOMO describes the emotional satisfaction and self-awareness of tourists who enjoy tranquility and mindful experiences without digital social pressure, as opposed to the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon. This study employs a survey method in conjunction with an associative quantitative methodology. A questionnaire was used to gather data form 135 respondents who were chosen using purposive sampling. Because the data was not regularly distributed, Spearman’s correlation test was used for the study. The findings demonstrated a significant positive correlation between tourist motivation and JOMO (r=0.673; p<0.001), while tourist interest in visiting showed a very strong positive relationship with JOMO (r=0.760; p<0.001). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced the formation of JOMO behavior. These findings indicate that the higher the motivation and interest of tourists to seek calm and reflective experiences, the greater their tendency to enjoy tourism that focuses on inner balance and self-awareness. Thus, the Bogor Botanical Gardens has the potential to become a slow travel destination that supports a sustainable tourism lifestyle and the psychological well-being of tourists.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the global gaming industry has intensified competition among digital game platforms, making user enjoyment a critical factor for sustained engagement. Roblox, as a large-scale user-generated gaming platform, offers diverse gameplay experiences and social interactions that may influence users’ perceived enjoyment. This study aims to examine the influence of perceived ease of use, challenge, variety, and social interaction on perceived enjoyment among Roblox users. A quantitative research approach was employed using an online survey distributed to respondents aged 12–30 years who had prior experience playing Roblox. A total of 190 valid responses were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics. The results indicate that perceived ease of use, variety, and social interaction have significant positive effects on perceived enjoyment, while challenge does not show a significant influence. These findings suggest that enjoyment in a user-generated gaming platform is driven more by usability, content diversity, and social engagement than by perceived difficulty. The study contributes to the understanding of user experience in digital gaming platforms and provides practical implications for developers and content creators in designing strategies to enhance player enjoyment and long-term engagement.

Abstract

The Study examines the role of integration of an Order Management System (OMS) in supporting digital trade facilitation and strengthening global marketing strategy at PT Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia in collaboration with Komatsu Australia. Before OMS implementation, order handling relied on manual processes in which purchase orders were sent via email or PDF and re-entered into internal systems, resulting in fragmented orders across multiple Australian destinations, requiring cross-country clarifications of up to two to three days, resulting in increased risks of errors and administrative delays. The research employed a qualitative descriptive case study approach, collecting primary data through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation review. Data were analyzed using NVivo to support systematic coding theme development and pattern visualization. The findings indicate that OMS acts as a key enabler of upstream digital trade facilitation by standardizing order formats, improving data accuracy, reducing duplication or missing orders, and enhancing near real-time visibility and coordination between KUI and Komatsu Australia. Furthermore, OMS provides an integrated single source of truth for demand and marketing strategy. The study concludes that OMS integration improves cross-border information flow and operational reliability, although organizational readiness and data governance remain critical to maximizing long-term strategic benefits.

Abstract

Medical environments frequently encounter interpersonal tensions that influence clinical effectiveness and may shape how physicians carry out their tasks. Grounded in Social Exchange Theory and Conservation of Resources Theory, this study examines the link between interpersonal conflict and physicians’ task performance by considering workplace deviance as a mediating mechanism. Using a cross-sectional design and surveyed a population of physicians in various healthcare facilities in Surabaya. Using purposive sampling than collected data from 150 respondents via an online, self-administered structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed with PLS-SEM. The measurement model met all reliability and validity criteria, and the structural model demonstrated significant explanatory and predictive power. The findings indicate that conflict can actually enhance performance when it is managed as task-focused disagreement within a framework of strong professional controls. In contrast, deviant behaviors consistently undermine performance. Furthermore, workplace deviance partially mediated the relationship between conflict and performance. Based on these findings, the study offers practical solutions for healthcare organizations in Indonesia. Include implementing effective conflict management, providing communication training, and consistently enforcing a code of ethics to harness potential benefits of task-related conflict.
