Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the entrepreneurial planning of tutoring for the independent entrepreneurship program, to find out the implementation of entrepreneurship tutoring in the independent entrepreneurship program. This type of research, this research is categorized as a type of qualitative descriptive research. Researchers use qualitative descriptive research because the data obtained is in the form of words and language in a special, natural context and by utilizing various natural methods. The research design used in this research is the triangulation method in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of observations of planning activities and implementation of entrepreneurial tutoring in the independent entrepreneurship program. The samples in this research were fellow independent entrepreneurs and Ganesha Operation mentors in Makassar City. The results of this research show that the tutor's efforts help students overcome various learning problems carried out at home. The meaning of tutoring planning is to provide additional material to improve the learning outcomes of students who are classified as having difficulty understanding the lesson material presented by the teacher. The implementation of tutoring is carried out from house to house to help busy parents to provide learning facilities for their children by following tutoring. Regarding the curriculum used in this tutoring, it uses the latest curriculum developments that are relevant to learning in schools.

Abstract

The needs analysis for implementing Project-Based Learning (PBL) with Aswaja values in mathematics courses at the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Program is essential to assess student and lecturer readiness, challenges, and preferences. This study aims to analyze the need for a PBL model with Aswaja values to enhance students' mathematics learning outcomes at the Islamic University of Makassar. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study explores the application of this model in PGSD mathematics courses. Data were collected from students and lecturers through observation, documentation, and questionnaires, then analyzed using qualitative techniques, including coding, analysis, data triangulation, and presentation. The findings indicate a strong need for a PBL model with Aswaja values, as seen in three key aspects: learning model needs, learning challenges, and learning expectations. This study contributes to integrating PBL with Aswaja values systematically, enhancing both mathematical understanding and character development in PGSD students.

Abstract

Gender equality in education is a global issue that still faces major challenges, especially in developing countries. Gender stereotypes that limit women to domestic roles and traditional fields of study hinder their participation in sectors such as science and technology, exacerbating the gender gap in the world of work. In addition, unequal access to technology and online education is also a significant barrier, especially for women living in remote or low-income areas. However, technological advances and globalization offer opportunities to improve these conditions, through technology training and digital empowerment programs. To achieve this, inclusive education policies that are free of gender bias need to be implemented, in addition to the implementation of affirmative policies such as providing women-only scholarships and digital skills training. Utilizing education technology, such as online education, can expand access for women without location or time barriers. Through this approach, educational equality can be achieved, providing greater opportunities for women's economic empowerment and creating a more just and inclusive society. This study aims to examine the challenges and solutions to gender equality in education and identify the steps that need to be taken to achieve such equality.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the numeracy skills of mathematics problem-solving of grade IV students of SDN Tanetea by using problem-solving learning model on square, rectangular and triangular flat building materials. The subjects of this study are grade IV students of SD N Tanetea, Gowa Regency for the 2023/2024 school year, totaling 23 students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research that is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle is carried out 2 times. The data collection was carried out by tests, observation sheets of teachers and students as the level of implementation and achievement in using the problem-solving learning model. The results of problem-solving skills can be seen from the results of the pre-test, cycle I and cycle II. In the pre-test, the average score of the success indicator was 42.86 with the percentage of learning completeness with total score 4%, it was lack. In the first cycle, there was an increase with an average score of 71.15 with a percentage of learning completion with total score 65% and in the second cycle there was an increase with an average score 79.57 with a percentage of learning completion with a total success score of 87%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the problem-solving learning model can improve problem-solving numeracy skills in grade IV students of SD Negeri Tanetea, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to identify the barriers experienced by third-grade students at Public Elementary School 226 Saukangnge, Sinjai Regency, in developing reading literacy, as well as to examine the factors contributing to their reading difficulties. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. The study was conducted at Public Elementary School 226 Saukangnge, located in Batu Belerang Village, Sinjai Borong Subdistrict, Sinjai Regency. The focus of the research includes reading literacy and the "Kampus Mengajar" (Teaching Campus) program. The instruments used in this study consisted of observation sheets, interview results, and documentation. The findings revealed that several students had difficulty recalling the complete alphabet, and some still lacked fluency in decoding words. Three students received focused assistance through reading activities. The implementation of classroom mentoring for students with low reading literacy had a significant impact on both their literacy skills and their personal development.

Abstract

Abstrak: This study aims to describe the implementation of the drill method to enhance students’ entrepreneurial spirit and mathematics learning outcomes. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) approach conducted in two eyeles, with each cycle consisting of planning implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 17 third-grade students of SD Inpres Tangkala I, Makassar City. Data were collected through tests, observations, and assessment sheets, and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively using descriptive statistics. The results indicated that the application of a drill method, combined with an entrepreneurial approuach through a market day project, improved students’ learning outcomes. The average student score increased from 42.05 in the pre-actionstage to 72.94 in Cycle I, and further improved to 83.23 in Cycle II. This improvement demonstrates that the drill method is effective in enhancing students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and in developing entrepreneurial character trats such as creativity, courage, and independence in learning. With 88% of students achieving scores above the minimum mastery criteria, it can be concluded that this study successfully improved both student learning outcomes and entrepreneurial spirits.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang kurang menarik memengaruhi hasil kemampuan membaca siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Rendahnya hasil belajar membaca siswa menjadi alasan mendasar penerapan model pembelajaran literasi, orientasi, kolaborasi, dan refleksi (LOK-R) berbantuan Ice Breaking siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis model pembelajaran LOK-R berbantuan Ice Breaking terhadap kemapuan membaca siswa. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian pre-eksperimen design jenis one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SD sebanyak 381 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 51 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV-A sebanyak 24 siswa, 15 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan model LOK-R berbantuan Ice Breaking berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hasil diperoleh berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis didapatkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan rata-rata antara hasil belajar pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan model LOK-R berbantuan Ice Breaking dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa siswa di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media daur ulang oleh pendidik dan menganalisis peningkatan kreativitas anak usia dini kelompok A TK Tunas Sejahtera Majannang melalui kegiatan tersebut. Kreativitas merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembngan anak usia dini, dan pemanfaatan bahan-bahan daur ulang diyakini dapat menjadi stimulus yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif terhadap proses pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan pendidik, dan dokumentasi hasil karya anak serta catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik dan deskriptif, mengidentifikasi pola-pola penggunaan media daur ulang dan perubahan indikator kreativitas anak seperti orisinalitas, fleksibilitas, elaborasi, dan kelancaran ide. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik secara aktif memanfaatkan berbagai jenis bahan daur ulang dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang dirancang untuk mendorong eksplorasi dan imajinasi anak. Lebih lanjut, temuan penelitian mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kreativitas anak setelah mengikuti kegiatan yang terintegrasi dengan pemanfaatan media daur ulang secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini memberikan kesempatan bagi anak untuk bereksperimen, memecahkan masalah, dan menghasilkan karya unik dan personal. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media daur ulang merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dan inovatif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini di TK Tunas Sejahtera Majannang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Discovery Learning model to enhance students’ learning outcomes and creativity in the IPAS subject. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were 20 fourth-grade students at MIT Insan Cendikia Makassar. Data were collected through tests, observations, and assessment sheets, and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings revealed that the application of the Discovery Learning model effectively improved students’ learning outcomes and creativity. The average learning outcome score increased from 79.55 in Cycle I to 84.33 in Cycle II, while the level of student creativity rose from 64.25% to 89.5%. Furthermore, 95% of students achieved scores above the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). These results demonstrate that the Discovery Learning model is effective in fostering both academic achievement and creative skills among students in the IPAS subject.
