Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan sebaran klorofil-a di Perairan laut Sumatera Barat Periode Musim Peralihan 1 (Maret-Mei) dan musim peralihan II (September-November) tahun 2020-2022 2) Membuat peta zona potensial penangkapan ikan di Perairan laut Sumatera Barat Periode Musim Peralihan 1 (Maret-Mei) dan musim peralihan II (September – November) tahun 2020-2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan data sekunder (ADS). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah studi kasus dengan cara mengumpulkan data sekunder, dengan teknik analisis data menghitung Nilai Klorofil-a dan Suhu Permukaan Laut dan Pembuatan Layout. Penelitaian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh pada suhu permukaan air laut terhadap kadar klorofil-a, pada tahun 2020 yaitu sebesar 55,6%,pada tahun 2021 terdapat pengaruh 79,5%,sedangkan tahun 2022 terdapat pengaruh 46,7% 2) Peta pendugaan penangkapan ikan tahun tuna sirip kuning 2020-2022, Wilayah laut Sumatera Barat tergolong potensial perikanan tuna sirip kuning yang menyebar, di perairan Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan terbesar memiliki wilayah pesisir yang luas dengan potensi sumber daya alam yang melimpah. Namun, berbagai ancaman seperti eksploitasi berlebihan, pencemaran, dan perubahan iklim telah menyebabkan degradasi lingkungan pesisir. Pendekatan pengelolaan berbasis masyarakat lokal menjadi solusi efektif, didukung oleh kearifan lokal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kepustakaan, yang merupakan serangkaian aktivitas yang berfokus pada metode pengumpulan data dari sumber-sumber pustaka. Dalam penelitian ini, metode pengumpulan data yang diterapkan adalah metode dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan wilayah pesisir di Indonesia melibatkan berbagai aspek penting. Wilayah pesisir merupakan kawasan peralihan antara ekosistem darat dan laut yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi namun juga menghadapi berbagai ancaman keberlanjutan. Masyarakat lokal pesisir, yang memiliki karakteristik sosial-budaya khas dan sistem pengetahuan tradisional, memegang peran penting dalam pengelolaan wilayah ini. Pengelolaan berbasis masyarakat lokal telah terbukti efektif melalui berbagai praktik kearifan lokal seperti Panglima Laot di Aceh, Sasi di Maluku, dan Awig-awig di Bali dan NTB. Sistem ini didukung oleh kerangka hukum yang kuat, termasuk UU No. 27 Tahun 2007 yang telah diperbarui menjadi UU No. 1 Tahun 2014, serta berbagai peraturan pelaksana lainnya. Implementasi kebijakan diperkuat melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pendekatan pengelolaan terpadu yang mempertimbangkan aspek ekologi, ekonomi, sosial budaya, dan kelembagaan, dengan melibatkan partisipasi aktif berbagai pemangku kepentingan.

Abstract

Abstract The problem in Nagari Manggopoh Palak Gadang Ulakan is that there is no map and modeling analysis of the propagation and coverage area of tsunami waves with the 2023 earthquake scenario in Nagari Manggopoh Palak Gadang Ulakan. With the research aim of analyzing the form of modeling of the propagation and coverage area of tsunami waves with the 2023 earthquake scenario in Nagari Manggopoh Palak Gadang Ulakan. The method used in research is quantitative with a systematic investigation of a phenomenon by collecting data that can be measured using statistical, mathematical or computational techniques. Modeling the propagation of tsunami waves in Nagari Manggopoh Palak Gadang Ulakan using scenario 1 with Mw 8.9 located at coordinates 99.81 E-0.87 South Latitude which results in tsunami wave propagation reaching 7.5 meters and scenario 2 with Mw 8.9 located at coordinates 97, 95 BT-1.44 South Latitude resulted in a tsunami wave propagating up to 4.5 meters.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) Analyse water quality and determine the status of water quality in the Batang Arau River, Padang City by considering several physical (temperature, TDS, TSS,), chemical (BOD, COD, DO, total phosphate (T-Phosphate), pH, nitrate (NO3-N), ammonia (NH3-N) and biological (fecal coliform) parameters. (2) Estimating the potential pollution load of Batang Arau River from domestic, industrial and agricultural sectors. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. There are 2 methods used in this research, in analysing water quality and identifying water quality status using the STORET method. Meanwhile, to estimate the potential pollution load in Batang Arau River, this research uses an indirect calculation by calculating the potential pollution load sourced from the 2017 Citarum River Pollution Load Capacity and Allocation book. Determination of sample points using purposive sampling technique with a total of 5 sample points spread from upstream to downstream. The results showed that (1) Based on the analysis results, 7 out of 11 water quality parameters experienced problems including temperature, TDS, BOD, COD, DO, T-Phosphate and Ammonia. The quality status of the Batang Arau River at sample points 1 and 2 is still categorised as meeting quality standards, sample 3 is classified as mildly polluted, samples 4 and 5 are categorised as heavily polluted. (2) The highest potential pollution load in the Batang Arau River is caused by the domestic sector, followed by the industrial and agricultural sectors. The ability to accommodate the pollution load in the Batang Arau River is influenced by the amount of river water discharge and water quality, high water discharge accelerates the process of dissolving pollutants in water through the process of self purification.

Abstract

Tourism activities are not supported by technology so that tourism potential is not optimally utilized. The platform designed for tourism in Pulai Anak Air is WebGIS Taourism. The program is carried out by involving the Pulai Anak Air Village Government, POKDARWIS, Homestay Managers, and local MSMEs. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and training with WebGIS Tourism data management practices and updates that involve participants directly. The number of participants is 10 people who are representatives of each Institution. The results achieved are that training participants are able to update data in real time according to the needs of tourism, homestays, and MSMEs. Based on the evaluation conducted by the Community Service Team of training participants, it was found that 6 out of 10 participants were able to manage WebGIS Tourism independently. In addition, the sustainability of the program carried out by the team is in the form of regular mentoring related to website management.

Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelagic country faces complex challenges in managing coastal areas that have high economic value but are vulnerable to environmental degradation. This research analyzes the implementation of coastal zoning policies through the Coastal and Small Islands Zoning Plan (RZWP3K) based on West Sumatra Provincial Regulation Number 2 of 2018 in controlling tourism impacts in the Mandeh Marine Tourism Area. Using a normative-empirical gap analysis case study approach, this study examines the effectiveness of zoning policies in balancing economic utilization and coastal ecosystem conservation. The results show that the implementation of RZWP3K Regional Regulation in the Mandeh Area successfully created a legal framework that divides the area into five main zones: conservation zone (325 ha of mangroves), tourism zone (18,000 ha), capture fisheries zone, cultivation zone, and special mangrove zone with specific regulations in each zone. Integration with the Tourism Development Master Plan (RIPPAR) of Pesisir Selatan Regency 2026-2045 shows strong government commitment to realizing sustainable blue tourism, reflected in the 59% growth of accommodation infrastructure (56 hotels with 622 rooms in 2023) and tourism sector contribution to West Sumatra's GDP reaching 1.89%[1][2]. However, implementation faces challenges including delays due to revision of Regional Regulation Article 41(b) ratified in 2023, zoning conflicts between traditional fishing areas and tourism zones, and gaps between nagari government master plans and provincial regulatory provisions[3]. The research recommends harmonization of multi-level regulations, strengthening cross-sectoral coordination mechanisms, and optimizing technology-based monitoring systems for more effective implementation.

Abstract

Wilayah pesisir Painan di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat termasuk suatu daerah yang mempunyai potensi sumber daya laut tinggi namun menghadapi tekanan lingkungan akibat abrasi pantai. Fenomena abrasi menyebabkan mundurnya garis pantai yang berdampak pada kerusakan fisik, ekologis, dan sosial ekonomi masyarakat pesisir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi perubahan garis pantai serta tingkat kerentanan kepada abrasi di wilayah pesisir Painan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif serta analisis spasial yang bergantung pada teknologi penginderaan jauh serta Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Hasil dari analisis memperlihatkan bahwa di beberapa lokasi di pesisir, terutama di daerah Painan Timur dan Painan Selatan, garis pantai telah berubah sejauh 5-20 meter. Faktor alam seperti gelombang laut, arus sejajar pantai, dan pasang surut, serta faktor manusia seperti alih fungsi lahan, penebangan vegetasi pantai, dan pembangunan pemukiman di dekat pantai, bertanggung jawab atas perubahan ini. Wilayah pesisir Painan diklasifikasikan sebagai memiliki tingkat kerentanan abrasi tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, yang berdampak besar pada infrastruktur, ekosistem pantai, dan mata pencaharian masyarakat pesisir. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini merekomendasikan rehabilitasi vegetasi pantai melalui penanaman cemara laut dan mangrove, penerapan zona sempadan pantai setidaknya 100 meter, dan pengelolaan pesisir berbasis kerentanan. Ini akan menjaga lingkungan dan kesejahteraan penduduk pesisir Painan.
