Abstract

The initiation of reading stands out as a fundamental skill for students, serving not only as a foundational ability but also as a tool to comprehend the acquired knowledge during their school learning journey. This activity is specially designed for students entering elementary school, playing a pivotal role in their academic development. The syllabic (silaba) method, designed as a syllable-based approach, dissects words into syllables and subsequently reassembles them into complete words. The primary objective is to assist students who encounter difficulties in reading to better grasp and understand words. The primary objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the syllabic method in enhancing the initial reading activities of Class II students at MI AL-Ma’arif 02 jombang-jember. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, this research was conducted at Banjarsari 01 Elementary School, situated in Banjarsari Village, Ciawi District, Bogor Regency. A qualitative approach was employed throughout the study, and an interview guide instrument served as the primary tool for data collection. The study incorporated various data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique employed in this study was an interactive approach, aligning with the model proposed by Milles and Huberman. The findings of this study suggest that the syllabic method is indeed an effective approach for initiating reading activities, significantly aiding Class II students at MI AL-Ma’arif 02 jombang-jember in developing their reading skills. Additionally, the syllabic method is considered beneficial for teachers, providing a straightforward and easily comprehensible instructional medium for facilitating learning activities. The required instructional materials for teachers using the syllabic method are both simple and universally understood by students. Notably, the utilization of the syllabic method in the beginning reading activities for Class II students aligns with the specified criteria for the achievement of students' reading activities

Abstract

In the era of globalization, organizational success is highly influenced by the quality of human resources, including in education. Teachers play a strategic role in ensuring effective learning. However, SDN Kemayoran 11 Pagi still faces issues with teacher discipline, especially in terms of inconsistent attendance and suboptimal performance in preparing and utilizing teaching modules based on the Merdeka Curriculum. Unlike many previous studies that measured teacher performance with general indicators, this research specifically evaluates teacher performance through the achievement of teaching modules in the Merdeka Curriculum, which reflects a more contextual and current standard of teacher competence. This study aimed to examine the effect of motivation and discipline on teacher performance. A quantitative approach was applied using saturated sampling, involving all 33 teachers at SDN Kemayoran 11 Pagi. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results showed that motivation and discipline each had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination indicated that 31.9% of the variation in teacher performance could be explained by motivation and discipline, while the remaining 68.1% was attributed to other factors. These findings imply that schools need to prioritize strategies that strengthen teacher discipline alongside motivation, as these aspects have been empirically proven to enhance teacher performance in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine impact of compensation and workload on turnover intention among employees of PT Musindo Laksana Guna.  A quantitative methodology was applied in this study, employing questionnaires to collect information from 30 actively working employees using saturated sampling techniques. Statistical analyses, such as t-tests, f-tests, and R². Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression using SPSS version 27. The results showed that H1: “Compensation partially negatively affects turnover intention at PT Musindo Laksana Guna”; H2: “Workload partially positively affects turnover intention at PT Musindo Laksana Guna”; and H3: “Compensation and workload simultaneously affect turnover intention at PT Musindo Laksana Guna”. With an Adjusted R² value of 0.603, the model explains 60.3% of the changes in turnover intention through compensation and workload, leaving 39.7% influenced by factors outside the present analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-service quality on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction among Tokopedia users in Depok City. In today’s highly competitive digital era, the quality of electronic services has become one of the key factors influencing consumers’ intention to make repeat purchases in online shopping platforms. This research applies a causal associative research design with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using Google Forms, distributed to 100 Tokopedia users residing in Depok. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique with the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results show that e-service quality has a significant influence on both customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. Moreover, customer satisfaction also significantly affects repurchase intention and is proven to partially mediate the relationship between e-service quality and repurchase intention. A Variance Accounted For (VAF) value of 77.4% indicates that customer satisfaction is a strong mediator in strengthening the effect of electronic service quality on consumer repurchase intention. This study highlights the importance of improving overall electronic service quality to enhance customer satisfaction and consequently encourage repeat purchases.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has increased the use of online transportation applications in Indonesia. From 2021 to 2023, Gojek maintained the highest number of downloads, although a significant decline was recorded, while competitors such as Maxim and inDrive experienced growth. This phenomenon highlights the urgency to analyze factors that influence usage decisions, particularly among Generation Z. This study aims to examine the influence of dynamic pricing, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) on the decision to use the Gojek application among Generation Z in Depok City. A quantitative survey was conducted involving 100 respondents selected through incidental sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS version 27. The findings indicate that: (1) dynamic pricing significantly influences the decision to use Gojek; (2) user interface does not significantly influence usage decisions; (3) user experience is the strongest predictor with a significant influence; and (4) dynamic pricing, UI, and UX jointly have a significant influence on the decision to use Gojek.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and promotion on purchasing decisions of Eiger shoes (Case Study at Eiger Branch Grand Depok City). The background of this research is based on the relatively low sales figures of Eiger shoe products compared to other Eiger product categories, despite Eiger being recognized as one of the top brands in Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that, partially, brand image does not have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, whereas promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. However, simultaneously, brand image and promotion have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination shows that brand image and promotion contribute 55.9% to purchasing decisions. This indicates that an effective promotional strategy can increase consumer purchase interest even if the brand image is not yet fully established. These findings imply that Eiger needs to strengthen its brand image, particularly in terms of product identity and differentiation, while maintaining and optimizing its promotional strategies effectively.
