Abstract

The social interactions that occur at SMAN 1 Anjir Muara are divided into two, namely associative and dissociative interactions. Interactions that are associative generally occur because of the positive impact of teachers and students, for example when activities are carried out by the school, students participate in helping and participating in these activities. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out what factors affect the income of street vendors around the Barito Bridge. Descriptive techniques are used in this study's qualitative methodology. The methods used to gather the data were observation, interviewing, and documentation. Data sources include both primary and indirect sources. The primary source of data for this study was street vendors who served as research participants. secondary information gleaned from various book reviews. The findings of this research show that the following are the main factors influencing the income of street vendors near the Barito Bridge (1) the initial capital used by street vendors to open a business is different. The greater the mode, the greater the income earned, (2) the trader's working hours or the length of time trading. The longer the trading time the greater the income earned, (3) work experience is very influential on the success of traders in earning income. The more experience, the management and trading strategy will be better. These elements favorably affect how much money street sellers make near the Barito bridge.

Abstract

An orphanage is a social institution that protects and guides orphans, orphans, neglected and poor people for the welfare of foster children. Orphanages also have an essential role in educating and fostering foster children so that their behaviour can be controlled. This article describes strengthening character building through religious, social, skills and health guidance at the Puteri Aisyiyah Orphanage, Banua Anyar Village. The focus of the service participants was the children of the Puteri Aisyiyah Orphanage, Banua Anyar Village. Guidance is carried out by delivering material related to religion, social skills and health. Guidance is carried out every Sunday on 07, 14, 21 and 28 May 2023. The results of the dedication are presented, namely the problems we encountered, including a lack of character guidance carried out by caregivers for the children of the Puteri Aisyiyah Orphanage, considering that in this era, there are many cultures outsiders are coming in and of course, the younger generation must be able to filter out what is good and what is wrong. So that character building can form a person who is more ready to face future challenges. Community service as a concrete step is a form of social care from the Social Studies Education Department FKIP ULM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Aktivitas Bertani Padi Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder, data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat petani padi. Data sekunder diperoleh dari beberapa studi literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berbagai teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam kegiatan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data yang relevan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskripsikan mengenai aktivitas bertani yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 meliputi manugal, malacak, batanam, dan mangatam, dari aktivitas tersebut tentunya akan memuat suatu nilai-nilai, tak terkecuali pada aktivitas bertani padi yang salah satunya terdapat nilai sosial. Nilai sosial yang terdapat pada aktivitas bertani padi meliputi kerja sama, kerja keras, tolong-menolong, ramah dan kerukunan, yang mana nilai tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar IPS.

Abstract

This article describes training in making educational posters using the Canva application for Social Sciences Education students, FKIP ULM. The method used in this article is community service activities carried out on March 13-14, 2024, at the Social Sciences Education Writing Laboratory FKIP ULM, then using 1) problem discovery observation stages, planning stages and implementation stages; 2) presenting data in the descriptive form; and 3) drawing conclusions based on activities to describe the research results systematically. In the results analysis section, the author uses literature studies to add insight, which is also supported by the results of interviews with training activity participants. Service activities are carried out in two activities. First, presentation and discussion related to making educational posters, from the definition to the steps in making a poster. Second, the practice of making posters via the Canva application by social studies education students using devices such as laptops and cellphones with a focus on the themes of ethnopedagogy and social studies education.

Abstract

The Grand Forest Park (Tahura) is essentially built and developed as regional wealth. For the sake of economic development and conservation towards Law Number 22 of 1999 concerning regional government and Law number 41 of 99 concerning forestry, Tahura has an important role for local governments to develop the development of the Tahura area. Is expected to have an important role in the development of economic activities and regional conservation activities as tourism education research activities for community development around the area and biodiversity conservation. In the Tahura study, Sultan Adam was chosen as the object of research or object of study, considering that he is located in Mandiangin Village, Banjar Regency, under the auspices of the South Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Service. The purpose of this research was to see how the role of Tahura has on the economic development of the surrounding community. The research method used in this study is a survey method. The presence of visitors does not always have an impact on the sales results obtained by traders. Sometimes visitors have brought their own food. Visitors who come from certain communities and agencies who carry out activities at the Sultan Adam Tahura often bring their own food ordered from other places. This is because there is an assumption that the prices of goods at tourist sites are more expensive, so visitors choose to bring their own food from home.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of eastern (Indonesian) culture regarding the influence of globalization on students of Social Sciences Education FKIP Lambug Mangkurat University in Belawang Village, Belawang District, Barito Kuala Regency. The method used in this article is community service activities carried out on 07-10 August 2023 in Belawang Village, Belawang sub-district, Barito Kuala Regency, then using 1) problem discovery observation stages, planning stages and implementation stages; 2) presenting data in descriptive form; and 3) drawing conclusions based on activities so as to describe the research results systematically. In the results analysis section, the author uses safety engineering studies after fire incidents, apart from that, it is also supported by the results of interviews with victims of fire disasters. Service activities are carried out with two activities, namely Raising Funds from the academic community (lecturers, students and the community)

Abstract

Local community involvement can also be an effective strategy in assisting students in junior high school. Involving community leaders, historians and local cultural figures can provide valuable perspectives and direct experience of local history to students. This service aims to determine efforts to assist students in increasing understanding of local history in the City of Banjarmasin. The method used is a mentoring activity involving Social Sciences Education students, FKIP, Lambung Mangkurat University and students at SMP Negeri 1 Tamban. The Wasaka Banjarmasin Museum also encourages students' curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. The interactive and fun learning experience at this museum motivates them to dig deeper into the local history of Banjarmasin and seek information from various sources. This will foster their love of science and encourage them to continue learning and developing. More than just an educational tourist spot, the Wasaka Banjarmasin Museum is a forum for building a sense of solidarity and unity among students.

Abstract

The background of the iron sellers in the riverbank is a human unit or group of people living in along the riverbank.  Their lives are dominated by river culture.  However, the life of the Bantaran Sungai community in Kuin Selatan Village, Banjarmasin, gives a different and very interesting nuance.  There are forms of economic activity in the area that indirectly do not influent in the river for the spring of life, but present a complete form of economic activity, both from production and distribution and consumption activities.  This is reflected in the economic activity of iron craftsmen. The points at this research were: (1.) To discover out what kinds of goods were made by iron sellers in Kuin Selatan Village, (2.) To find out the making, marketing and usage activities take out by iron sellers at Kuin Selatan Village, (3.) To discover out the ways of making iron by iron sellers. Descriptive qualitative method was used in the research to illustrate the economic activities of the riverbank groups in Kuin Selatan Village.  The person in this research were iron craftsmen.  The research instrument consisted of observation guides and interviews made by the researchers themselves.  The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.  Test the validity of the data using time triangulation, sources and data collection techniques.The conclusions appear that the interesting economic activity of the riverbank groups in Kuin Selatan Town was ironmonger.  Its economic activities contain: (1.) production activities, (2.) marketing activities, (3.) usage activities.  The making activities of the iron craftsmen are in the form of agricultural tools such as hoes, crowbars, machetes, sickles, and also in the form of household utensils such as frying pans, knives and panicles.  In addition, other products include bolts, drills, truck elbows, hinges, valves, drums and containers.  Distribution activities can be seen in the acquisition of raw materials and distribution of production results to consumers.  The form of distribution of goods is carried out directly or indirectly.  Obtaining nail materials indirectly through collectors, while the distribution of manufactured goods through agents.  The consumption activities of iron craftsmen are carried out directly, namely buyers come directly to the craftsmen to buy the goods they produce and indirectly, namely traders buy to be resold to the market to consumers. The conclusion reached by these iron sellers is that we can get to know the processing of iron goods which can be made into several kinds of tools to break down gold such as drums and valves for example, accompanied by activation of production, distribution and consumption
