Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang developer dan kontraktor di Sumatera Selatan. Pada PT XYZ terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang didapatkan dari hasil wawancara, diantaranya adalah kehilangan data karena form pengajuan izin yang hilang atau rusak dan keterlambatan dalam memperpanjang kontrak karyawan karena tidak adanya reminder jika kontrak karyawan ada yang akan berakhir. Melihat permasalahan yang terjadi maka diberikan solusi yaitu sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat mengelola kepegawaian untuk membantu seluruh kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan karyawan menjadi lebih mudah, cepat, dan akurat. Sistem informasi kepegawaian yang dibuat memiliki berbagai fitur seperti dashboard, fitur mengelola pengajuan cuti / izin, fitur mengelola PHK, fitur mengelola mutasi, fitur mengelola penugasan, dan berbagai fitur lainnya yang berhubungan dengan kepegawaian. Penelitian ini dikerjakan dengan metode pengembangan iteratif dan memiliki hasil berupa sistem informasi kepegawaian yang bermanfaat untuk membantu memberikan reminder kontrak, mempercepat proses pengelolaan data absensi, mengurangi risiko kehilangan dan kerusakan data karyawan dan berbagai manfaat lainnya.

Abstract

PT. Persada Palembang Raya merupakan cabang dari Persada Group yang bergerak pada bidang distributor kendaraan berat khususnya pada Hino yang belokasi di Sumatra Selatan, Perusahaan tersebut ingin berkembang dan memerlukan dukungan pegawai berkualitas. Proses perekrutan yang tepat sangat krusial, karena calon pegawai yang tidak sesuai dapat menghambat pertumbuhan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sistem pendukung keputusan menggunakan metode Fuzzy Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) untuk mengevaluasi dan memilih pegawai berpotensi. Maka dari itu penulis mengusulkan dibuatnya sistem ini membandingkan calon karyawan, memberikan nilai prioritas, dan memudahkan pengambilan keputusan dengan memungkinkan penyesuaian kriteria dan bobot. Dengan demikian, perusahaan dapat menyeleksi pegawai yang paling cocok untuk mendukung keberhasilannya.

Abstract

Efficient and effective employee data management is key to assessing individual performance within a company. This study identifies that the manual methods currently used by PT XYZ are time-consuming and inefficient, potentially leading to damage, loss, or lack of information. Therefore, this study aims to develop a web-based personnel information system using an iterative method and data collection through interviews. The system is built using the React JS framework and MySQL for data storage. Available features include the management of attendance data, leave, transfers, promotions, assignments, rewards, and penalties. The final results of the study show that this system functions well and can enhance the company's performance through more efficient data processing.

Abstract

The employee information system is a collection of interconnected subsystems related to employee data within a company, aimed at providing information on planning, organizing, operations, and decision-making. With technological advancements, this system is designed to manage the collection, processing, storage, and reporting of employee data and can be implemented in various organizations. This research designs a web-based employee information system for PT ABC, a logistics company with 25 employees that currently manages its workforce manually. The system handles recruitment, attendance, leave, and resignation processes, improving data integrity and facilitating management. With differentiated access rights for administrators, directors, and employees, as well as specific features for prospective employees, the system is expected to enhance the company’s operational efficiency.

Abstract

Pengembangan backend API yang efisien sangat penting dalam mendukung aplikasi web modern. Namun, pemilihan bahasa pemrograman dan metode query yang optimal masih menjadi tantangan bagi pengembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja backend RESTful API yang dibangun menggunakan tiga bahasa pemrograman (Go, PHP, dan JavaScript) serta empat metode pengambilan data (Raw SQL, ORM, Query Builder, dan Stored Procedure). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif true-experimental, dengan pengujian Load Testing, Spike Testing, dan Stress Testing untuk mengevaluasi jumlah permintaan yang berhasil, penggunaan CPU, dan penggunaan memori. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Go dengan Raw SQL memiliki kinerja tertinggi dalam jumlah permintaan, waktu respons, dan penanganan beban, diikuti oleh Node.js, sementara PHP memiliki kinerja terendah.   Kata kunci: Backend API, Pengujian Kinerja, Metode Query

Abstract

Pengembangan website yang optimal membutuhkan pemilihan framework yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan efisiensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja dan konsumsi energi framework React dan Vue, menggunakan metrik seperti FCP, LCP, SI, TBT, CLS dengan menggunakan Google Lighthouse. Kinerja rendering time, dan penggunaan memori menggunakan Google DevTools. Konsumsi energi diukur dengan menggunakan tools Globemallow. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode true-experimental research. Metode ini dipilih karena memungkinkan pengukuran sistematis dan objektif melalui variabel-variabel dalam kondisi terkontrol, sesuai tujuan penelitian. Eksperimen dimulai dari mengembangkan halaman website kemudian menyiapkan perangkat keras setelah itu melaksanakan skenario pengujian kemudian menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan data yang didapatkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Vue memiliki kinerja lebih unggul berdasarkan pengujian kinerja rendering time dan kinerja FCP, LCP, TBT, CLS, dan SI, sementara React lebih efisien dalam penggunaan memori, dan konsumsi energi. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi framework yang optimal berdasarkan kebutuhan kinerja dan keberlanjutan untuk pengembangan aplikasi web.   Kata kunci: React, Vue, Kinerja Website, Penggunaan Energi, Google Lighthouse.

Abstract

This study investigates the performance of android applications developed using Java and Kotlin in consuming API. Driven by the need for responsive and efficient android applications and the potential impact of runtime performance differences between Java and Kotlin programs, this research employs an experimental method with a quantitative approach. Data is collected through Instrumented Tests and Android Studio tools on two smartphones with different specifications. Parameters measured include data download speed, memory allocation, execution time, serialization/deserialization time, application size, and lines of code. Results indicate Java's superiority in download speed and data serialization, while Kotlin demonstrates conciseness in code size. Performance varies depending on device specifications. The choice of programming language depends on the application's needs and priorities. Java is optimal for applications prioritizing download speed and data serialization, while Kotlin suits those focused on code efficiency. This study provides recommendations for PANDA application developers and future research.

Abstract

This study examines the development of Decision Support Systems (DSS) in the last three years based on methods, types of decisions, software development, and their focus areas. General analysis shows that the DSS methods used include multicriteria analysis, machine learning, algorithm optimization, and fuzzy logic to support complex and data-driven decision making. DSS is applied in strategic, tactical, and operational decisions. In terms of software development, Agile and prototyping methods are dominant due to their complexity. The main areas of DSS application include business management, health, education, transportation, and the environment, with the aim of providing efficient and adaptive solutions. The results of this study describe the trends and applications of DSS and serve as references for research and implementation in various sectors.

Abstract

Pl The Information System plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing organizational assets to achieve strategic goals. One method used to enhance the effectiveness of information systems is the Knowledge Management System (KMS), which aids in managing resources such as information technology, management, and finance. This study examines KMS using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach on 15 relevant journals. The analysis reveals that knowledge-sharing systems are the most developed KMS process (40%), facilitating the dissemination of explicit and tacit knowledge. The Tiwana framework dominates (53.33%) due to its flexibility and systematic stages, while web-based KMS is the preferred choice (80%) for its accessibility. Additionally, discussion forums are the most advanced feature (66.67%), supporting real-time communication and knowledge archiving. This study highlights the latest trends in KMS development and proposes the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to enhance its effectiveness.

Abstract

This study analyzes platforms and databases in information system software development based on literature from 2022 to 2024 using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This method allows for the systematic identification of journal articles following predefined procedures. Various platforms for information system development include mobile, web, and desktop, while databases include MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL Server. This study aims to identify the databases used, types of developed information systems, platforms utilized, key development fields, and software development methods applied. From the 20 analyzed studies, MySQL was the most commonly used database due to its efficiency, ease of use, and high compatibility, making it the preferred choice for information system development.
