Abstract

Prevalensi diabetes melitus berdasarkan hasil riset kesehatan dasar (Riskesdas, 2013) tertinggi di Indonesia terdapat di provinsi DI Yogyakarta.terdapat di provinsi DI Yogyakarta. Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit kronis yang membutuhkan pengobatan jangka panjang dan kompleks dimana salah satu penentu keberhasilan terapi bergantung pada kepatuhan penggunaan obat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik pasien meliputi jenis kelamin, usia, tingkat pendidikan, durasi penyakit, komorbid, dan penggunaan ADO terhadap kepatuhan pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan rancangan analisis potong lintang yang dilakukan secara retrospektif terhadap 123 pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 rawat jalan di puskesmas daerah Yogyakarta pada bulan Agustus–September tahun 2015. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar pengambilan data dan kuesioner Morisky Medication Adherence MMAS-8. Data dianalisis menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan tingkat kepatuhan pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 berada pada tingkat kepatuhan rendah. Hubungan antara pengaruh karakteristik pasien: jenis kelamin (p=0,275), usia (p=0,473), tingkat pendidikan (p=0,157), durasi penyakit (p=0,097), jumlah komorbid (p=0,79), dan ADO (p=0,401) terhadap tingkat kepatuhan tidak signifikan (p>0,05).Kata kunci: Diabetes melitus tipe 2, karakteristik pasien, kepatuhan The Description of Medication Adherence for Patients of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 in Public Health Center Yogyakarta According to the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas 2013), the highest prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Indonesia is in Yogyakarta. Diabetes mellitus is chronic disease that needs the complex and a long term medical treatment, one of the success factor in the therapy depends on the patient adherence. The purpose of this research was to know and describe patient’s characteristics including gender, age, education, duration of the disease, comorbid, AOD usage through the adherence of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This research used an observational method with cross-sectional analysis that conducted retrospectively to 123 outpatients with diabetes mellitus type 2 in Yogyakarta Primary Health Care during August–September 2015. The sampling method the accidental sampling technique. Morisky Medication Adherence (MMAS) questionnaire was used and analyzed with Chi Square. The result of this research showed that the entirety of medication’s adherence level is low. The correlation between patients characteristic, gender (p=0.275), ages (p=0.473), educational level (p=0.157), disease’s duration (p=0.097), number of cormobid (p=0.79), and ADO (p=0.401) against the medication’s adherence level were not significant (p>0.05).Keywords: Adherence, diabetes mellitus type 2, patient characteristics

Abstract

keputusan mentri kesehatan tahun 2004 tentang Standar pelayanan Kefarmasian di Apotek,menetapkan bahwa semua tenaga kefarmasian dalam melaksanakan tugas profesinya di apotek agar mengacu pada standar tersebut.Standar pelayanan kefarmasian ini dimaksudkan untuk melindungi masyarakat dari pelayanan yang tidak profesional,melindungi farmasis dari tuntunan masyarakat yang tidak wajar,sebagai pedoman dalam pengawasan praktek tenaga farmasi dan untuk pembinaan serta meningkatkan mutu pelayanan farmasi diapotek.Namun, pelayanan kefarmasian di indonesia selama ini masih terbengkalai. Sulit untuk menemukan apotekernya tidak ada di tempat.Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh para apoteker diUl menuniukan bahwa sekitar90% apotek yang meraka survey, apotekernya tidak ada di tempat. Apotek saat ini lebih di anggap sebagai badan usaha,padahal hakikatnya apotek merupakan tempat pengabdian profesi seorang apoteker

Abstract

Abstrak: Masyarakat memerlukan obat dengan tujuan untuk menyembuhkan atau mencegah timbulnya penyakit. Penggunaan obat secara mandiri lazim ditemui dikalangan masyarakat dengan berbagai alasan dan pertimbagan. Agar masyarakat dapat menggunakan obat dengan aman dan berkhasiat, maka penggunaan obat harus tepat. Penggunaan obat yang benar meliputi cara mendapatkan, menggunakan, menyimpan dan membuang obat. Melalui kegiatan program Pengabdian Masyarakat KKNT UNG 2021 yang berlokasi di Desa Bondat Kecamatan Pagimanana dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi berupa penyuluhan disertai dengan pembagian brosur berisi materi penggunaan obat yang benar. Sebelum dan sesudah sosialisasi, dilakukan pretest dan posttest, dengan tujuan untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai cara penggunaan obat yang tepat. Kategori tingkat pengetahuan terdiri dari: baik, sedang dan buruk,. Dari 67 penduduk desa Bondat yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini, diketahui warga yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dengan kategori baik dari 3 orang ( 4% ) meningkat menjadi 51 orang ( 76%) dan kategori pengetahuan kurang menurun dari 55 orang 82% menjadi 4 orang (6%) setelah mengikuti sosialisasi.Abstract: People need medicine intending to cure or prevent disease. The use of drugs independently is common among the public for various reasons and considerations. So that people can use drugs safely and efficiently, the use of drugs must be appropriate. Correct use of drugs includes how to get, use, store and dispose of drugs. Through the Community Service Program KKNT UNG 2021, located in Bondat Village, Pagimanana District, socialization in the form of counseling is accompanied by brochures containing the correct use of drugs. Before and before socialization, pretest and posttest were conducted to measure the level of public knowledge about the proper use of drugs. The categories of knowledge consist of: good, moderate and bad; of the 67 residents of Bondat village who participated in this activity, it is known that residents who have a good level of knowledge from 3 people (4%) increased to 51 people (76%), and the category of knowledge less decreased from 55 people 82% four people (6%) after participating in the socialization.

Abstract

Drug management is a set of optimally conducted activities related to the aspects of drug planning, procurement, storing, distribution, and extermination. This was done to achieve the proper drug amount, types, supply, maintenance, and medication. Earlier observstion revealed problems in managing pharmaceutical stock and consumables, where some of the stocks are empty. This qualitative descriptive research focus on identifying pharmaceutical logistic stock and health supplies comprising drug planning, procurement, storing, distribution, and extermination in the pharmaceutical unit of Gorontalo. The primary data were obtained from questionnaires based on technical guidance by the health ministry while the secondary were obtained from related documents. Based on the findings, the pharmaceutical stock planning and storing process at the pharmacy unit did not meet the health ministry standards, which is opposite to the procurement, distribution, and extermination process.

Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is a condition where there is a gradual decline in kidney function. Chronic kidney disease is often followed by complications of anemia. The use of erythropoietin therapy in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis requires no small amount of money. This affects the quality of life (utility). The purpose of this study is to measure costs and utility values using the EQ-5D-5L (EuroQol-Five Dimensions) instrument, VAS (Visual Analog Scale), and costs based on the patient's perspective at Prof.Aloei Saboe Hospital. This study is a prospective cross-sectional approach. Data was collected using the EQ-5D-5L and EQ-VAS questionnaires. The subjects of the study were hemodialysis patients as many as 45 met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that the most widely used Erythropoietin therapy was single Hemapo. The results of the calculation of the estimated cost of each hemodialysis patient from the perspective of a patient for one month of therapy are Rp. 7,112,000. The average expenditure of patient transportation costs is Rp. 50,111. The average cost of food for the patient is Rp. 25,000.Utility value based on average Indonesian set value 0.673 (sufficiently feeling well)and VAS score 71.4 (health status is quite healthy).

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is a communicable disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria that mostly attack lungs, yet they also possibly attack other organs. The use of tuberculosis drug oftentimes leads to side effects on the patients. This research intends to determine the side effects of anti-tuberculosis drugs of tuberculosis patients. It employed a cross-sectional approach, in which the data were collected from questionnaires. As many as 50 patients were selected as the sample using purposive sampling, i.e., a sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results indicate that the majority of the patients suffering from tuberculosis are men (27 people, 54%), aged 16-27 years (30%), graduating from elementary school (60%), with another job (farmer, 76%).  In addition, the frequently-occurring side effects include red urine (22%), nausea (18%), being limp (14%), vomit (12%), joint pain and itch (8%), and loss of appetite (2%).

Abstract

National formulary is a list of medicines compiled by a national committee established by the Minister of Health based on cutting-edge, efficacious, safe, and affordable scientific evidence referred for drug use by national health insurance. This study aims to determine the evaluation of drug prescribing in the Hospital formulary. This retrospective study involved subjects qualified for the inclusion criteria i.e. 73 sheet recipes in August - December 2019. some prescribed drugs that are not listed in the hospital formulary in the following percentage: August (100%), September (60%), October (50%), November (81%), and December (65%) with the average of 71%. This indicates that the prescription does not conform to the hospital formulary regulation of 100%. In conclusion, there are some drugs prescribed by the doctor that is not conformed to the hospital formulary, which means tight supervision for the prescribing is required.

Abstract

Quality refers to compliance with predetermined standards or by requirements. The minimum service standard (MSS) in the health sector at the hospital is crucial because it is a measure of the hospital's performance of health services. This study was intended to describe the service quality in the pharmacy installation of Toto Hospital in Kabila based on four indicators of minimum pharmacy service standards, viz. drug waiting time for treatment completion, the absence of drug administration errors, customer satisfaction, and prescription writing according to the formulary. This descriptive cross-sectional research involved 154 outpatients and inpatients for the category of prescription writing according to the formulary and 154 outpatients for other categories as respondents as samples. Besides, the instruments were a customer satisfaction questionnaire and observation sheet. The results showed that the indicators of waiting time were nine minutes seven seconds and 18 minutes six seconds for concocted drug treatment; there was no error in administering drugs by 100%; customer satisfaction was 86.9%, and; prescription writing according to the formulary was 92.7%. . It was concluded that the Pharmacy Installation of Toto Hospital had not met the specified Minimum Service Standards (MSS).
