Abstract

This research examines the challenges of Mina MSMEs on the coast of Demak, Central Java, which rely on marine resources but are vulnerable to exploitation. The purpose of this study is to assess how attitudes and behavior affect productivity at work, so that a blue economy can be realised. This study was conducted using a survey method with a population of fish processors MSMEs in Demak Regency, Central Java, Indonesia, using a census by collecting 48 respondents. Partial least square was the technique utilized for data analysis. The result indicate that attitudes and behaviors related to OHS have a significant influence on productivity and the blue economy, where productivity does not mediate the influence of OHS attitudes but mediates the influence of OHS behavior on the blue economy. The implication is that the government should adopt a comprehensive approach towards MSMEs for the development of a culture of occupational safety and health through socialisation, training, monitoring, and enforcement of safety regulations as an effort to prevent and minimize workplace accidents, thereby fostering awareness of the importance of safety and health in the workplace.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the work environment and training on work productivity, using work motivation as an intervening variable. This research was quantitative and explanatory, using a questionnaire with several open-ended and closed-ended questions for 162 participants. The SmartPLS approach was used as the technique chosen. The results showed that the work environment had no significant relationship or influence on work productivity, training had a significant influence on work productivity, the work environment had a significant influence or relationship on work motivation, training had a significant relationship with work motivation, and the work environment had a significant relationship with work productivity through the motivation variable. Finally, the training variable had no significant relationship with work productivity when mediated or bridged by the work motivation variable.

Abstract

The decline in the performance of permanent lecturers at the Nalanda Institute prompted this research. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of job training and work discipline on the performance of permanent lecturers at the Nalanda Institute, by placing intrinsic motivation as a variable that acts as an intermediary. This research was conducted quantitatively, and data was collected using a questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale, while data were processed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 27. The sampling method uses the saturated or census sampling method, in which the entire population was used as the research sample due to its relatively small size. The sample consisted of 41 permanent lecturers at the Nalanda Institute. The findings of this study indicate that that job training, work discipline, and intrinsic motivation have a positive and significant influence on the performance of permanent lecturers at the Nalanda Institute. Job training, work discipline, and intrinsic motivation also have a positive and significant influence on the intrinsic motivation of permanent lecturers. Intrinsic motivation is also able to mediate the relationship between job training and work discipline and the performance of permanent lecturers.Keywords: Job training; work discipline; intrinsic motivation; performance of permanent lecturers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap Komitmen afektif dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada karyawan PT Multidaya Teknologi Nusantara. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari restrukturisasi organisasi dan meningkatnya turnover karyawan, yang menekankan pentingnya memperkuat Komitmen afektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Partial Least Squares (PLS) serta melibatkan 84 responden sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selanjutnya, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Komitmen afektif. Lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja juga terbukti berpengaruh langsung terhadap Komitmen afektif. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja mampu memediasi secara signifikan hubungan antara lingkungan kerja dan Komitmen afektif, maupun antara motivasi kerja dan Komitmen afektif. Temuan ini memperkuat Social Exchange Theory yang menjelaskan bahwa dukungan organisasi melalui lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan motivasi kerja yang tinggi akan dibalas oleh karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja yang berdampak pada peningkatan Komitmen afektif. Oleh karena itu, manajemen perusahaan perlu memperhatikan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kerja dan motivasi karyawan sebagai strategi penting untuk meningkatkan retensi dan loyalitas.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  pengaruh keterampilan, motivasi dan komitmen terhadap produktivitas kerja dengan kerja cerdas sebagai   variabel moderasi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan tekinik Purposive sampling dengan  74  responden  dan populasi sesuai kriteria. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan Heineken Company. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Smart PLS-SEM. Hal  ini  dilakukan dengan menguji kemampuan variabel independen (X) dalam memberikan pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap variabel dependen (Y) dengan variabel moderasi (Z). Berdasarkan hasil analisis  dari  74 responden  menunjukkan  bahwa  keterampilan mempunyai  pengaruh signifikan   terhadap   produktivitas kerja, motivasi mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap   produktivitas kerja, komitmen tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas  kerja.
