Abstract

This research will discuss how to use digital collections at the Willmar Bisnis Indonesia Polytechnic library located on Jalan Warakauri, Percut Sei Tuan District,DeliSerdangRegency,NorthSumatra.Inthemidstofthewidespreaduse of digital access today, libraries are also affected by the creation of digital collections by libraries as products for today's developments. The research uses qualitative methos and uses 3 ways as data sources, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. Thento determinethesourcesof this researchusingpurposivesampling,namelythesourcesaresoughtbasedonpeople who are considered to understand the object of research the most. The results of this study by interviewing informants can be concluded that users in the wilmar bisnis Indonesia polytechnic library have made good use of digital collections. Penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana pemanfaatan koleksi digital di perpustakaan Politeknik Wilmar Bisnis Indonesia yang terletak di Jalan Warakauri, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Di tengah maraknya penggunaan akses digital saat ini, perpustakaan juga ikut terpengaruh dengan terciptanya koleksi digital oleh perpustakaan sebagai produk untuk perkembangan zaman sekarang ini. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dan menggunakan 3 cara sebagai sumber data yaitu wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Kemudian untuk penentuan narasumber dari penelitian ini dengan purposive sampling yang digunakan, yakni narasumber dicari berdasarkan orang yang dianggap paling mengerti tentang objek penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini dengan mewawancarai narasumber dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemustaka di perpustakaan Politeknik Wilmar Bisnis Indonesia sudah memanfaatkan koleksi digital dengan cukup baik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the history of the establishment of the Al-qur'an History Museum and its development to date, 2) what collections are in the Al-qur'an History Museum, 3) the use of the Al-qur'an History Museum as a historical sources. The main purpose of this research is to find out exactly how useful the collection of manuscripts which are the treasures of Islam is as a material for historical research and learning. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Informants in this study were the head of the museum, academic researchers, students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed: (1) The history of the establishment of the Al-qur'an History Museum was motivated by anxiety and a lack of concern for Islamic artifacts in North Sumatra. So departing from this statement and the basis of ignorance, historian Ichwan Azhari tries to prove the existence of these Islamic artifacts through a long journey in finding them by tracing every area in North Sumatra. (2) The use of the Mushaf collections in the History Museum of Al-Quran in North Sumatra as a historical source for researchers can be seen from the use of these historical sources as the primary (primary) source and has the main goal of improving previous research. The collections in the museum make a major contribution to research so that a fact of Islamic treasures can be revealed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the exixtence, practice, meaning and social function of the Ratib Samman ritual in the people of Sei Paham Village, Sei Kepayang District, Asahan Regency. The ritual which is carried out by gathering many people is carried out by men at night after the Isha Prayer. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this case, to obtain the data inquestion, obtained trough observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the existence of the Ratib Samman ritual is a cultural form that is believed and known by the community to have existed from the time of the Atok ancestors and was passed down from generation to generation. Its existence has a high value in society, the practice starts from the pre-implementation stage, the implementation stage and the post-implementation stage. The movements used are sitting, rotating and standing positions as well as the movements of the pencak silat moves. The community interprets this ritual as the practice of remembrace of Allah Swt to draw closer Allah Swt. It is known that these rituals are part of the teaching of the Tarekat. Howefer, in this area, it has become a public Ratib, meaning that anyone may follow it. The ritual also has a social function, among others, as a form of social solidarity an integration and as a means of overcoming epidemics or diseases, famine, crime, and disturbances by spirits.

Abstract

This study discusses the strategies of the Dikdasmen Council of PDM Asahan to enhance the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at Muhammadiyah schools in the East Kisaran District. The issue addressed in this study is the professionalism of PAI teachers in performing their duties, which does not meet the professional standards expected, particularly in pedagogical skills and teaching administration, as assessed by the Dikdasmen Council of PDM Asahan. This study employs a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is designed to describe and analyze phenomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, and thoughts, both individually and in groups. One type of descriptive qualitative research is case study research. the findings obtained in the field, both from interviews and library research, the root of the problem identified is that the pedagogical competence of teachers, including PAI teachers, is not entirely satisfactory, with a percentage of 70%. The common issues related to teacher professionalism include: Limited use of IT-based learning media among teachers, Understanding student characteristics during teaching, The delivery of learning materials that do not engage students, Teaching administration issues, such as teaching not aligning with their qualifications and insufficient mastery of the curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang penggunaan fitur google search terhadap siswa/siswi kelas VIII-C MTsN 1 Medan yang di gunakan sebagai sumber pembelajarab IPS yang seringkali digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk mencari materi-materi yang tidak terlalu lengkap dibuku ataupun sering kali digunkan untuk mencari gambar-gambar yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran Ips, bagaimana seorang guru IPS dalam mengatasi kelemahan-kelemahan dari penggunaan fitur google search terhadap siswa/siswi kelas VIII-C MTsN 1 Medan, serta bagaimana dampak dari penggunaan google search ini terhadap sikap dan dan gaya belajar siswa/siswi kelas VIII-C MTsN 1 Medan. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang penggunaan fitur google search yang di gunakan siswa/siswi kelas VIII-C MTsN 1 Medan untuk mencari materi-materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian Kualitatif, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis, metode penelitian ini menyajikan secara langsung hakikat hubungan antara peneliti dengan partisipan atau objek serta subjek penelitian. Temuan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya peran guru dalam mengatasi kelemahan dari penggunaan google search ini sangat di perlukan, penggunaan google search dapat merubah sikap dan gaya belajar setiap siswa/siswi yang menggunakannya serta dapat membantu atau mempermudah kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh siswa/siswi kelas VIII-C di MTsN 1 medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dalam membentuk sikap pluralisme siswa di SMP IT Al Hijrah melalui pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan prinsip-prinsip pluralisme. Dalam konteks masyarakat Indonesia yang multikultural, pendidikan IPS memiliki potensi strategis untuk menanamkan sikap saling menghargai, toleransi, dan keterbukaan terhadap perbedaan. Dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melakukan observasi, wawancara dengan guru IPS, dan analisis dokumen kurikulum guna memahami strategi pengajaran yang diterapkan dalam menanamkan sikap pluralisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai Islam dengan konsep pluralisme efektif dalam memupuk sikap menghargai perbedaan agama, budaya, dan sosial di kalangan siswa. Guru IPS di SMP IT Al Hijrah menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang mengedepankan diskusi dan kerja sama untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa yang inklusif dan menghargai keberagaman, sehingga pendidikan IPS tidak hanya menjadi sarana penyampaian pengetahuan, tetapi juga alat untuk membentuk sikap pluralisme yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

This research study is about the educational model developed related to prevention strategies of extremist children to prevent them from following the steps or experiences of their parents as perpetrators of terrorist acts. One of the places of analysis in this study is the al hidayah Islamic boarding school. This research was conducted with one approach, namely a qualitative approach, with this approach obtained sources of information through observation, interviews and documentation needed for this research by the management of the school. Then, the study used phenomenological methods. The method is able to describe how an individual feels the experience and provide a picture of the phenomenon. It is therefore interesting to conduct research on how terrorist prevention and countermeasures education models developed and designed by ex-terrorist convicts against children of ex-terrorists or non-terrorists. Study findings show that the establishment of Islamic boarding schools is motivated by self-awareness that utilizing oneself for others by promoting Islamic values that are peaceful and non-violent, these values are the basis for developing an educational model in al hidayah Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

This research study examines the results of the preservation and conservation of the Koran collection at the Al-Quran History Museum in North Sumatra as a study of historical studies. The North Sumatra Al-Qur'an History Museum is a museum founded by Dr. Phil Ichwan Azhari, M.S which was inaugurated by Governor Edy Rahmayadi in 2019. The Al-Qur'an Museum was established with the aim of increasing public knowledge that North Sumatra had Islamic history and civilization in the past. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with the researcher then functioning as a key tool. Data collection uses literature studies, observations, document analysis and interviews. The results of the study show that the collection of Al-Qur'an in the Museum of Al-Qur'an History of North Sumatra which has been preserved and conserved can be used as material for studying historical studies that can be utilized by historians, history teachers, or history enthusiasts and others, especially through historical methods namely heuristics, external criticism and internal criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The hope is that by utilizing the Al-Qur'an collection at the Museum of Al-Qur'an History in North Sumatra, it will further enrich the treasures of works of Islamic history.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of education, identify obstacles, and analyze the strategies of fishermen’s families in supporting children’s education in Pasar Baru Village, Sei Tualang Raso District, Tanjung Balai City. The findings show an increase in parental awareness and participation in the importance of education, although they are still faced with structural obstacles such as economic limitations, difficult access to transportation, minimal educational facilities, and lack of social environmental support. The strategies implemented include financial management, emotional motivation, learning assistance, communication with schools, and utilization of government assistance. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The main issue raised is the strong influence of socio-economic conditions on the sustainability of fishermen’s children’s education, so that a more inclusive and adaptive education policy is needed to meet the needs of coastal communities.
