Abstract

Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) adalah anak yang mempunyai keterbatasan dalam satu atau lebih pada beberapa kemampuan baik fisik seperti tunarungu dan tunanetra maupun bersifat psikologis seperti gangguan pada tumbuh kembang normal dan abnormal. Autis adalah suatu gangguan perkembangan yang menyangkut interaksi sosial,komunikasi,perilaku pola bermain dan gangguan kognitif. Tujuan daripenelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis permasalahan anak autis di kelompok B TK Ashabul Kahfi usia 5 tahun, yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik dan terdiri dari 11 peserta didik perempuan dan 19 peserta didik laki-laki yang mana salah satu dari peserta didik tersebut terdapat satu siswi penyandang autis yang berinisial AS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitan ini menunjukkan subjek AS memiliki masalah dalam gangguan interaksi sosial,komunikasi,perilaku dan kognitif.

Abstract

In early childhood, various kinds of behavior problems are sometimes difficult to overcome and require the right method to deal with this behavior. One of the child's behavior problems is manivulative tantrum behavior. Where this behavior appears when the child's desires are not fulfilled, and one of the behaviors shown is rebelling. The method that can be applied to modify this behavior is the time-out method. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the time-out method in modifying manipulative tantrum behavior in children aged 4-6 years. This study uses qualitative research methods, with a case study type. The subjects in this study were 5 year old children who experienced tantrum manipulative behavior. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation and interviews. The results showed that by using the time out method in dealing with tantrum manipulative behavior in children, the application of this method was effective for children who experienced this negative behavior.

Abstract

Pendidikan seks sudah seharusnya diberikan sejak usia dini untuk mencegahpermasalahan seksual yang semakin berkembang. Kasus kekerasan seksual pada anak usia dini semakin marak terjadi setiap tahunnya karena anak usia dini adalah sasaran empuk predator seksual. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah utnuk memberikan edukasi pendidikan seksual sejak dini kepada orang tua peserta didik dan guru di RA DDI Sabamparu Kab. Pinrang. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan pada hari Sabtu, 5 Agustus 2023. Subjek dalam pengabdian ini berjumlah 40 orang. Pengabdi memilih lokasi ini karena sebagian besar orang tua dan wali belum memahami pentingnya pemberian edukasi kepada anak usia dini terkait pendidikan seksual. Nilai rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 10 dan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 15. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penyuluhan.

Abstract

Preschool teachers expect to enhance students' intellectual abilities by implementing brain-based learning stimulation in children. However, numerous preschool teachers remain uninformed about the brain's functioning in children. This study aims to establish a neuroscience-based learning model inside early childhood education institution. The study is applied to the 4D development paradigm, which comprises four stages: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The study involved 30 kindergarten/RA instructors in Parepare City, selected by purposive sampling, ensuring that the participants had not previously received training related to neuroscience. The data collection procedures employed included observation, interviews, needs analysis, questionnaires, and both pretests and posttests. Qualitative data analysis techniques are descriptive methodologies, whereas quantitative data analysis encompasses expert validation, teacher response surveys, and effectiveness assessments. This project develops a neuroscience-based learning model presented in a guide package as a validated teaching module. After providing content derived from the developed modules, the results indicated an enhancement in participants' scores. The neuroscience learning approach effectively enhances the knowledge of Islamic kindergarten educators. The findings of this study can serve as suggestions for educators and policymakers to improve and elevate the quality of learning in early childhood education.

Abstract

Kemampuan numerasii pada anak usia dini sangat penting karena menjadi dasar untuk perkembangan kognitif dan akademik mereka di masa depan. Numerasii bukan hanya tentang angka, tetapi juga tentang kemampuan untuk memahami, menggunakan, dan mengolah informasi matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan permainan congklak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasii pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan Borg & Gall yang yang terdiri dari 10 tahap pengembangan yaitu : potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produksi massal. Pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai pada tahap ke 7 yaitu revisi produk. Hasil uji kevalidan ahli media didapatkan nilai 83% dan ahli materi 97%, hasil uji kepraktisan didapatkan nilai 92% dan hasil uji keefektifan didapatkan nilai 89%. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui permainan congklak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasii pada anak usia 4-5 tahun

Abstract

The introduction of mathematical concepts in learning is not well understood by children because of the limited types of media used. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of understanding in children regarding the mathematical concept in the introduction of geometric shapes using monopoly media. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method, in which researchers go directly to the field to collect data needed in research such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects used in this study were group B children at Putri Ramadhani Kindergarten, totaling 20 people, 10 boys, and 10 girls. The results of this research are that children cancan recognize geometric shapes, count from numbers 1-20, match number symbols with numbers, and children are also able to talk in front of their friends about what children get while playing monopoly games.

Abstract

Speech delay is a condition where there is repetition of words, phrases, or sentences in other people's speech. These conditions cause delays in language development in children. This study's purpose is to apply Monopoly games to improve language development in group B speech-delayed children at Aisyiyah 5 Parepare Kindergarten. The method used by researchers in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study are interview techniques, documentation, and observation. This research was conducted at TK Aisyiyah 5 Parepare. Subjects in this study were 6-year-old females. The subjects in this study were 8 female children and 7 children male. The subject is in group B at Kindergarten Aisyiyah 5, where there are 15 children in the class. The results of the study show that aspects of AN language development have not yet been developed. When conducting research using the Monopoly game, The researcher switched the game to a game of guessing the picture on a Monopoly game card. This happened because AN's condition had difficulties in understanding language, expressing language, and literacy.

Abstract

Penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di sekolah merupakan sekumpulan perilaku yang dipraktikkan oleh peserta didik, guru dan masyarakat lingkungan sekolah atas dasar kesadaran. PHBS perlu diperkenalkan kepada anak-anak usia dini untuk mengadopsi kebiasaan baru. Keterampilan hidup bersih dan sehat, seperti menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, dan menghindari hal-hal yang berbahaya untuk kesehatan, dapat membantu anak usia dini mengembangkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dalam meningkatkan kebiasaan hidup bersih dan sehat kepada anak usia dini melalui penerapan video interaktif dan media edukatif PHBS. Metode dalam pengabdian ini merupakan pendampingan secara langsung kepada anak usia dini di KB-BA-TPA Restu 2 Malang. Dalam hasil pengabdian ini, peserta didik menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam mengenal kebiasaan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat melalui video interaktif dan media edukatif hasil karya mahasiswa PIAUD IAIN Parepare.

Abstract

The low leadership spirit of children due to no special learning carried out by the teacher in building the child's leadership spirit. The teacher only does the refraction to the children, such as when they start something, who dares to lead gymnastics, lead prayers, become priests during prayers and the culture of queuing when washing their hands. The purpose of this research is to build children's leadership spirit through cooking class. The research employed is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the cooking class was able to improve four indicators of children's leadership, namely responsibility, independence, discipline, and children have a stand.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low creativity of children aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Kadidi Kindergarten, Sidrap Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in increasing creativity in children aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Kadidi Kindergarten, Sidrap Regency. This study used a pre-experimental design method with a one group pretest-posttest type. The population used was children aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Kadidi Kindergarten, Sidrap Regency, consisting of 7 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques were in the form of tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was using the SPSS version 22 program. The results of this study concluded that from the level of children's creativity abilities before being given treatment (pretest) with the final mean result of 5.64 out of 14 children while the final mean result after being given treatment (posttest) was 12. 43 out of 14 children. The results of the hypothesis test (t-test) obtained a significance value (sig.) of 0.000, it can be said that 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an influence of the effectiveness of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in increasing the creativity of children aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Kadidi Kindergarten, Sidrap Regency.
