Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bentuk kebahasaaan tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor, fungsi kebahasaan tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor dan makna budaya kebahasaan tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori lingusistik kebudayaan. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakanteknik simak dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model interaktif dielektif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan berbagai bentuk kebahasaan, mencakup : bentuk kata, bentuk frasa, bentuk kalimat, bentuk wacana; fungsi kebahasaan, mencakup: fungsi informasional, fungsi ekspresif, fungsi direktif, fungsi estetis, fungsi fatik; dan makna budaya kebahasaan yang terdapat dalam tuturan ritual natoni adat masyarakat etnis Timor dalam penyambutan tamu di sekolah.The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the ritual forms of speech kebahasaaan natoni Timor indigenous ethnic communities, linguistic utterances ritual function natoni etnis Timor indigenous communities and the cultural meaning of linguistic utterances natoni ritual indigenous ethnic communities Timor. The approach in this study using the approach of linguistic theory of culture. Data collection technique used see and interview techniques. In doing techniques refer, applied recording technique as the basic technique.  Then proceed with the advanced technique in the form of free refer techniques involved capably, recording technique, and the technique of record.  Furthermore, the technique of structured and unstructured interviews. Mechanical analysis of data using interactive models dielektif. The research found various forms of language, include: word a form, phrase form, form of sentences, form discourses, linguistic functions, include: informational function, expressive function, directive function, aesthetic function, phatic function; linguistic and cultural meaning contained in ritual speech natoni indigenous ethnic communities in welcoming guests at the school.

Abstract

Pelaku industri di Kecamatan Ajibarang tidak hanya melakukan hubungan bisnis dengan pelaku industri setempat, tetapi juga dengan pelaku industri dari berbagai wilayah di Jawa Tengah. Fenomena yang terjadi akibat interaksi bisnis tersebut tidak sekadar menggunakan bahasa sehari-hari untuk berinteraksi dengan mitra bisnisnya. Pelaku industri membutuhkan strategi dalam berinteraksi. Salah satu strategi yang dikuasai oleh pengusaha adalah strategi pemilihan bahasa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan wujud pilihan bahasa, strategi pilihan bahasa, dan mengidentifikasi faktor yang melatarbelakangi pilihan bahasa pengusaha industri di Kecamatan Ajibarang Kabupaten Banyumas. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik simak dan wawancara. Dalam melakukan teknik wawancara diterapkan teknik sadap sebagai teknik dasarnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data wujud pilihan bahasa pengusaha industri berupa 1) tunggal kode, 2) alih kode, dan 3) campur kode. Strategi pilihan bahasa yang digunakan oleh pengusaha Industri adalah 1) strategi memberikan penghormatan pada mitra tutur, 2) memberikan pilihan, 3) memperlihatkan keinginan penutur, 4) memberikan informasi secara tidak langsung, 5) menunjukan sikap pesimis pada mitra tutur, 6) memberi pujian pada mitra tutur, 7) memberikan dukungan, 8) memaksa dengan kalimat retoris, 9) mendramatisasikan peristiwa, dan 10) meyakinkan mitra tutur dengan sikap optimis. Faktor yang melatarbelakangi strategi pilihan bahasa adalah 1) untuk keakraban, 2) usia (mitra tutur lebih muda), 3) pengguna bahasa daerah yang sama, 4) kesetaraan kedudukan, 5) perubahan topik, 6) untuk mencapai tujuan, 7) penyesuaian bahasa, 8) penegasan, 9) keterbatasan kosakata, dan 10) penggunaan kosakata khusus.Various types of industries in this area, for example: tile industry, wood, sugar, poultry, and tofu. The businessman in Ajibarang not only do business relationship with local industry, but also with industry from various regions in Central Java. The industry players should have a strategy language selection. Language selection strategy carried out by industry players in Ajibarang not yet known, it is necessary to do further research. The purpose of this study is to found that the form of the language selection, find the language selection strategy and to identify the factors that underlying the language selection of  industrialists in Ajibarang district of Banyumas regency. Data collected by methods refer to. In conducting the methods refer to, applied the technique of tapping as the basic technique. Data was analyzed using the interactive model. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found that the form of language selection found were: 1) a single code, 2) over the code, and 3) mixed code. The strategy of  language selection in interaction that conducted by the industrialists: 1) Strategy paid tribute to the hearer, 2) giving selection, 3) shows the speakers desire, 4) giving information indirecctly, 5) shows pessimism on the interlocutors, 6) giving praise to interlocutors, 7) giving support, 8) forcing the rhetorical sentence, 9) dramatize events, and  10) reassure the interlocutors with optimistic attitude. Factors that underlying the language selection strategy 1) to familiarity, 2) age (opponents said the younger), 3) the use of traditional language, 4) equity position, 5) changes topic, 6) to reach the goal, 7) language adaptation, 8) confirmation, 9) limitation vocabulary, 10) the use of special vocabulary.

Abstract

KPK dan Polri merupakan lembaga penegak hukum di Indonesia, tetapi beberapa kali keduanya justru mengalami konflik. Konflik dua lembaga penegak hukum ini tidak lepas dari sorot pemberitaan, baik koran lokal maupun nasional. Suara Merdeka sebagai korannya Jawa Tengah juga ikut memberitakan konflik tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengungkap pandangan harian Suara Merdeka dalam konflik KPK vs Polri jilid II dengan menggunakan analisis wacana kritis model Norman Fairclough yang secara simultan mengkaji: teks-teks bahasa baik lisan maupun tulisan; praktik kewacanaan; dan praktik sosiokultural. Data penelitian ini berupa penggalan wacana yang diambil dari teks tajuk rencana yang dimuat di dalam harian Suara Merdeka. Pandangan harian Suara Merdeka yang tercermin dari penggunaan kosakata dalam tajuk rencana cenderung berpihak pada institusi KPK. Hal itu tampak pada penggunaan pola klasifikasi, kosakata yang diperjuangkan secara ideologis, metafora, dan relasi makna. Dengan demikian, pandangan harian Suara Merdeka dalam hal pemberitaan konflik KPK vs Polri jilid II cenderung tidak objektif.KPK and Polri are law enforcement institutions, but both several times just had conflict. Conflict between the two law enforcement agencies could not be ignored by local and national higlight newspapers. A newspaper in central Java, Suara Merdeka, also highlighted the conflict. This article studied how Suara Merdeka view in conflict between KPK and Polri volume II used critical discourse analysis model of Fairclough. Based on text description, vocabulary used in editorial tend on KPK side. Therefor, Suara Merdeka view in the conflict between KPK and Polri volume II was not objektive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis tindak tutur berbahasa mahasiswa, pematuhan kesantunan berbahasa, pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa dan faktor yang memempengaruhi terjadinya kesantunan berbahasa mahasiswa dalam berinteraksi di lingkungan Universitas Tidar. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak. Hasil penelitian pertama bahwa jenis tindak tutur yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa berupa jenis tindak tutur representatif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, isbati. Kedua pengukuran tingkat kesantunan berbahasa mahasiswa di lingkungan Universitas Tidar didasarkan pada pematuhan prinsip kesantunan berupa bidal ketimbangrasaan, kemurahatian, keperkenaan, kerendahhatian, kesetujuan dan kesimpatian. Ketiga, pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kekurang santunan pada tindak tutur mahasiswa dalam berinteraksi berupa prinsip kesantunan. Keempat  faktor penyebab kesantunan berbahasa terdapat lima faktor diantaranya tempat dan suasana tutur, peserta tutur, tujuan tutur, pokok tuturan, dan sarana tutur.This study aimed to describe the type of speech act-speaking students, observance of politeness, violations of politeness and the factors that influence the occurrence of politeness student interaction at the Tidar University. Methods of data collection methods refer to. Results of the first study that kind of speech acts performed by students in the form of speech acts representative, directive, expressive, commissive, isbati. Both measurements politeness level of students at the University of Tidar is based on adherence to the principle of modesty in the form of a thimble tact maxim, generosity maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim,agreement maxim and sympathy maxim. Thirdly, breach of politeness principle is used to measure the level of compensation for the lack of student speech acts in the form of  a politeness principle. These four factors cause politeness there are five factors, including the place and the atmosphere is said, the participants said, the purpose of speech, the principal speech, and means of speech.

Abstract

Tegal regency people is diglossic community having two languages namely Javanese and Indonesian. The adjustments of the role and the function of those languages are occured in the city, especially in Senior High School educational domain, taking form of the roles and functions of Javanese and Indonesian languages. The purposes of the research are to analyze the patternof Javanese-Indonesian language diglossic patterns in Tegal SHS educational domains. The research is descriptive qualitative and perspective sociolinguistics. The data collection uses observe and conversational methods. The diglossia of the domain uses Miles and Huberman, covering data collection, data reduction, then data serving and concluding. Based on analysis, the diglossic patters of the domain are: (1) Standardized Indonesian language and Javanese language are included in high language variation used in formal situation, and (2) non-standardized Indonesian and Javanese languages are used in non-formal situations and included in low language variation.

Abstract

Language politeness is important in the administration of administrative staff to the community. In practical life, many administrative staff do not have good and polite language skills. Many staff use language to communicate and provide services to the community as they like. This thing leads them to be judged that they are not able to provide good service to the community. Different speakers will have different code choices that impact on compliance and infringement of language politeness principles. The purpose of this study is to describe compliance with the principles of language politeness of the teaching staff in the academic environment at Universitas Negeri Semarang, including adherence to the principle of language politeness and factors influencing language politeness of educational staff in academic services at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The data was collected by using the listening method and tapping technique. Adherence to the principle of language administration politeness in the form of adherence to the thimble of inferiority, generosity, indulgence, approval, and conciliation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis hambatan dalam pelaksanaan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) yang dibuat guru kelas VI mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SD di Kecamatan Slawi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data model interaktif yaitu pengumpulan data (data collection), reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (display data), dan verifikasi (conclusion drawing). Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan delapan partisipan penelitian yang terdiri dari empat kepala sekolah dan empat guru kelas VI. Hasil penelitian penerapan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) disusun melalui tiga tahapan yaitu (1) tahap persiapan yang terdiri atas (a) Memiliki kelengkapan dokumen Prosedur Operasional Standar Ujian Sekolah/Madrasah (POS US/M), (b) Melaksanakan tambahan jam. (2) Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri dari (a) Menganalisis hasil try out, (b) Merancang nilai SKL Bahasa Indonesia, (c) Musyawarah dengan nilai SKL Bahasa Indonesia dengan stakeholder pendidikan. Tahap yang terakhir yaitu (3) tahap evaluasi atas ketercapaian SKL Bahasa Indonesia. Hambatan dalam penyusunan berasal dari siswa, guru dan orang tua dalam penyusunan SKL diantaranya kemampuan siswa yang rendah,pelaksanaan tambahan jam yang tidak sesuai dengan jadwal, musyawarah penentuan SKL dan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia belum optimal. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan penyusunan SKL mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berjalan sesuai dengan POS US/M SD dan siswa mampu mencapai SKL yang sudah ditentukan.This study aims to describe and analyze the obstacles in the implementation of graduate competency Standards which made the sixth grade teacher of Indonesian Language subject elementary school in Slawi district. The research used descriptive qualitative approach with interactive data analysis technique that is data collection, data reduction, presentation data, and conclusion drawing. In this study using eight study participants consisting of four principals and teachers of class sixth. The results of this study that the application of graduate competency standards is (1) Prepared through three steps of preparation stage consisting of Indonesian Language subject (a) Having the completeness of Document of standard operational procedure for school exam (POS US/M) documents, (2) Implement additional hours. Implementation phase consists of (a) Analyzing try out results, (b) Designing Graduate Competency Standards score of Indonesian Language subject, (c) Deliberation with graduate competency standards score of with education stakeholder. The final stage is (3) The evaluation stage of Indonesian graduate competency standards achievement. Obstacles in the preparation comes from students, teachers and parents in the preparation of graduate competency standards including low student ability, the implementation of additional hours that are not in accordance with the schedule, deliberation determination Graduate competency standards and learning Indonesian subject is not optimal. Based on these results it can be concluded that the preparation of graduate competency Standards Indonesian subjects run in accordance with the POS US/M documents and students are able to reach the graduate competency standards that has been determined.

Abstract

In classroom interaction, teachers always use speech. The instructor has the intention that the students take action by the wishes of the teacher. The purpose of this research is to find and to describe the form, purpose, implicature, and function of teacher speech illocutionary in an interaction of learning in Senior High School. The data were collected by using Simak Libat Cakap (SLC) technique, Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC) technique and interview technique using skill and fishing technique. Data analysis is done by contextual analysis method. The form of teaching teacher illocutionary contained in the interaction of learning in high school tangible direct speech and indirect speech. The purpose of the illocutionary of teacher's speech in the interaction of learning in high school is to inform the activities at school, to explain the instruction of the activity, to define the term, to ask the lesson material, to justify the inappropriate student answer, to draw the students attention to the lesson, and to instruct the students to do something and ordered not to do anything. The implication of teacher's speech in the interaction of learning in Senior High School is the conventional implicature based on the agreement of the student with the teacher at the beginning of the activity and the unconventional implication based on the context and the teacher's speech in a speech event. The function of the teacher's teacher's illocutionary in the interaction of learning in Senior High School is representative of the truth of teacher's speech, directive directive directive, expressive showing teacher's expression, commissive in the form of offering teacher promise to students, a declaration in the form of punishment sentence to the students.

Abstract

Penelitian semantik leksikal pada penyandang down syndrome perlu dilakukan untuk mengungkap sejauh mana tentang kompetensi terhadap realitas yang ada di sekelilingnya. Dengan demikian, dapat dipaparkan pula tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi gejala penyimpangan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Menjelaskan kompetensi semantik leksikal pada penyandang down syndrome di SLB Negeri Semarang dilihat dari ketepatan dan penyimpangan dalam menguasai medan makna; dan (2) Mengklasifikasikan faktor yang mempengaruhi gejala penyimpangan semantik leksikal pada penyandang down syndrome di SLB Negeri Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi semantik leksikal pada penyandang down syndrome berbeda-beda. Namun pada medan makna tertentu, terdapat persamaan kompetensi yang secara teratur terjadi baik berupa ketepatan maupun penyimpangan. Penyimpangan semantik leksikal pada penyandang down syndrome terjadi karena beberapa sebab, meliputi kilir lidah yang berupa kekeliruan seleksi makna, kekeliruan suku kata, perubahan bentuk kata yang berupa repetisi, perubahan bentuk dasar menjadi bentuk berimbuhan, perubahan bentuk berimbuhan menjadi bentuk berimbuhan yang lain, gejala lupa-lupa ingat, kurangnya perbendaharaan kata, kekurangmampuan dalam mengungkap relasi semantis, penggunaan arti kata yang lebih konkrit dan interferensi.     This research is lexical semantics that focuses on down syndrome sufferer need to be done to reveal how far the competence toward reality that exists around. This research also explains about factors that influence the indication deviation. The objectives of this research are (1) to explain lexical semantics competence on down syndrome sufferer in SLB Negeri Semarang observed at accuracy and deviation on mastering scopes (2) and, to clasify factors that influence the lexical semantics indication deviation on down syndrome sufferer in SLB Negeri Semarang. The result of this research shows that the lexical semantics competence on down syndrome sufferer is different. However, on some scopes, there is similarity competence on accuracy and deviation. The lexical semantics deviation on down syndrome sufferer is caused by several things such as tongue-sprained like an error of meaning selection and syllable, alteration of word form like repetition, alteration base form become affix, alteration affix become other affixes recalling sympton, less vocabulary, hardly showing semantic relation, using more concrete of meaning words, and interference.

Abstract

Writing is important in the character education of elementary school students. The character education of conservation consists of 11 values, namely religious, honest, intelligent, fair, responsible, caring, tolerant, democratic, polite, tough, and loving the country. The love of the country is meant to love the culture and natural environment around us. Therefore the environment is closely related to conservation education. The observations indicate that in the writing of fourth grade elementary school students the character values of conservation have not showed. This attracts researchers to study more about the implementation of conservation contained of writing learning. The purpose of this study was to find the implementation of writing learning with conservation contents in the character education of fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. This research was carried out at SD Muhammadiyah (SD M) and SDIT Logaritma (SD L) in Karanganyar, Kebumen.The data collection techniques used was in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of learning writing with conservation content is focused on the activities of initiating the learning, activities of managing the learning, and activities of closing the learning activities. In the activity of initiating the learning, all of the fourth grade teachers of Islamic Elementary School in Karanganyar have conditioned students, performed apperception, conveyed goals, provided motivation, and informed the learning activities to be carried out. In the learning management activities, the fourth grade teacher of Islamic Elementary School in Karanganyar did not fully teach in accordance with the Learning Implementation Plan. At the end of the learning activities include concluding the learning that has been done, checking the understanding of students, giving questions about evaluating or giving assignments, and closing the learning with prayer. The conservation character that emerges in the activity of initiating the learning was religious. The activity of managing learning raises honest, intelligent, responsible, tolerant, democratic and polite characters. The activity of closing the learning raises honest, responsible and religious characters.
