Abstract

The purpose of this public service program is to empower the Kartika Utama SMEs and Schonheit Goods SMEs as SMEs that partner with each other in marketing bag products. Kartika Utama SMEs as an SMEs that produces bags, while Schonheit Goods SMEs as an SMEs that markets bag products from Kartika Utama SMEs. The problems faced by these two SMEs are related to file archiving, product packaging, and production that still need to be improved, as well as opportunities, to utilize the internet in the framework of better marketing. The method of implementing this public service program is training, mentoring SMEs, and creating websites to market bag products produced. The results of dedication to strengthening SMEs in two fields, namely production and marketing with emphasis on online marketing.

Abstract

The banking problem studied is the kind of strength which is become the base of services in the field of internet banking. The study was conducted by analyzing the consumers perception in the 5 variables of service quality consist of security, reliability, responsiveness, physical ability, and collateral. As much as 10 informants who are users of internet banking of bank in Indonesia has been interviewed about their perceptions of the quality of internet banking services. This study uses qualitative approach. The analysis showed that there are 6 strength that underlies the quality of internet banking services namely communication, channel of customer participation, service facilities, human resources, technology infrastructure and norms. The sixth strength of the internet banking service is a dimension of strength to compete in the banking industry. Masalah bank yang diteliti adalah kekuatan apa yang menjadi landasan layanan jasa di bidang internet banking. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis persepsi nasabah pada 5 variabel kualitas layanan yakni keamanan, keandalan, responsif, kemampuan fisik, dan jaminan. Sebanyak 10 informan yang merupakan pengguna internet banking dari bank di Indonesia telah diwawancarai mengenai persepsi mereka terhadap kualitas layanan internet banking. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 6 kekuatan yang melandasi kualitas layanan jasa internet banking yakni komunikasi, saluran partisipasi nasabah, fasilitas layanan, sumber daya manusia, infrastruktur teknologi dan norma. Keenam kekuatan layanan internet banking tersebut merupakan dimensi kekuatan bersaing dalam industri perbankan.

Abstract

One of the chemical parameters in the requirements of clean water is water hardness. Hardness is a term used in water containing cations that cause hardness. Generally, hardness caused by the presence of metals or cations which have a valence of 2, such as Fe, Sr, Mn, Ca and Mg. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of banana stem charcoal as an adsorbent in reducing water hardness. The process of charcoal banana stem adsorbent dried under the sun for one week, and in the oven at 110°C for 24 hours to reduce moisture and moisture content. Next, to remove volatile materials, the hydrolyzed sample was heated at 400°C to become charcoal with 30 minutes in the furnace after which it was sieved with 106 µm and 250 µm sieves and stored in a desiccator. From the results of the study, it found that the banana charcoal adsorption process can reduce the water hardness level to reach 43.56% for the contact time of about 240 minutes with the thickness of the charcoal used around 5 cm. Then from the t-test analysis showed a significant difference before and after using banana stem charcoal as an adsorbent medium. Banana stem charcoal can be an alternative to adsorbent media to reduce the level of water pollution in addition to other media that commonly used.

Abstract

Determination of water quality status based on the pollution index method. Water said to polluted if it cannot use according to its standard designation. The purpose of this research is to identify and find out the level of pollution contained in shallow well water used by communities in urban areas. Water quality index measurements using the Storet Method. This study uses ten samples with techniques Purposive random sampling with well water sources used by people in Makassar, especially in Untia Sub-District, Makassar, South Sulawesi. The number of samples used was 15 water samples taken each week with a total of 10 shallow well water sample points. The parameters measured in the study are Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Total Coliforms, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). The results of the study showed that the condition of shallow well water quality classified in category D, which heavily polluted which means it not recommended to use before filtering. The increase in parameters that have exceeded the maximum quality standard comes from natural sources and high domestic waste from community activities. Water pollution is a condition in which a water reservoir changes due to human activity ? the change caused by the entry of substances that should not be in the water.

Abstract

Brackish water is one source of clean water and drinking water in coastal areas, river estuaries, and small islands. Various studies have carried out that the use of clay can reduce minerals in the water. This research aims to find out and analyze the Cascade Aerator System and Rapid Sand Filter based on Clay in Reducing Iron Concentration in Well Water. The type of research used is experimental with a quantitative approach. In this study, the researchers used the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study's location was conducted on Sapuli Island in Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi Province, and Sindulang Satu Village in Manado City, Central Sulawesi Province. The study's design used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a combination of treatments that obtained 6 x 3 = 18 treatment combinations. This study's population is all well water that is in two research areas, and then the sample collection technique is used simple random sampling with 15 samples of well water. The research obtained a decrease in the maximum average iron (Fe) level obtained reached 57.27% by adding a 20-gram of clay as desalination in 10 liters of well water. The decline that occurred in the two study sites did not differ significantly. Reduction of Iron (Fe) levels through Cascade aerators and Rapid Sand Filters by adding clay as a binder due to the material of kaolin in clay.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan pengaruh keamanan, keandalan serta kepuasan penggunaan mobile banking terhadap loyalitas nasabah BRI. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif, dan data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner pada 100 nasabah BRI di kota Surabaya. Dengan tehnik analisis data Struktural Equation Modeling (SEM) dan bantuan alat WarpPLS, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa keamanan dan kepuasan dapat meningkatkan loyalitas nasabah. Sementara keandalan tidak berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas nasabah karena payroll perusahaan tempat kerja mayoritas responden melalui BRI. Sehingga suatu bentuk kepraktisan transaksi jika menggunakan mobile banking, dan sampai dengan saat ini responden merasa puas dengan layanan mobile banking BRI.

Abstract

Perubahan capaian pembelajaran siswa SMK yang bermula menjadikan lulusan siap bekerja pada industri sekarang diarahkan kepada menghasilkan lulusan berwirausaha. Hal ini tentunya berdampak dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewirausahaan di SMK Mamba’ul Ihsan. Proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewirausahaan yang berlaku saat ini dapat dikatakan belum mendukung capaian visi misi sekolah sehingga rekonstruksi pembelajaran berbasis Outcome Based Education (OBE) perlu dilakukan. Akselerasi proses pembelajaran diharapkan mampu meningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan mampu meningkatkan output dan outcome pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah membantu melakukan akselerasi proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, memberikan pemahaman tentang OBE, membantu merancangkan Rencana Pembelajaran Pendidikan (RPP) mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewirausahaan. Rencana kegiatan yang telah dilakukan guna mencapai tujuan kegiatan diwujudkan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan pada guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewirausahaan yakni pelatihan penulisan buku ajar, penulisan pengembangan RPP. Rancangan RPP direncanakan dapat diimplementasikan pada semester berikutnya. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa adanya keinginan kuat para guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan mengarahkan proses pembelajaran berbasis OBE. Didukung pula dengan partisipasi dan kontribusi sekolah melalui mengikutsertakan guru dalam berbagai pelatihan dan program sertifikasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru, serta mengembangkan jejaring kerjasama dengan mitra industri untuk menjamin keberlanjutan usaha siswa nantinya. Tantangan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah kemampuan untuk mengajak para guru SMK terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, sedangkan hambatan pencapaian tujuan adalah (1) keterbatasan kemampuan guru-guru, (2) kurangnya jejaring dengan mitra industri, (3) belum adanya program sertifikasi yang mendukung usaha siswa (ijin halal, diskes, dll), dan (4) keterbatasan pengetahuan sekolah tentang legalitas usaha.
