Abstract

Nursing services make an important contribution in the quality of services in hospitals, so that every effort to improve the quality of services in hospitals must improve by improving the quality of nursing services, one of which is by improving the performance of nurses. Problems that arise based on a preliminary study conducted at the beginning of October 2016 at Hospital X, is still a problem of nurses who treat patients who experience an increase in nurses. Research Objectives: Knowing the influence of leadership in nursing environment on nurses 'motivation at Hospital X. Knowing the motivation of compensation in nursing environment on nurses' motivation at Hospital X. Knowing the effect of leadership in nursing on nurses at Hospital X. with cross sectional research design. Subjects in this study were nurses at Hospital X with a total sample of 70 people who were contacted by questionnaire instruments, while the research object was leadership, compensation, motivation, and performance of nurses at Hospital X. Processing data about this study using a computer program with SPSS 15.0 and using the F Test and t Test. Conclusion: After conducting an assessment of testing can prove the performance of nurses RS X need significant support by leadership, compensation through motivation.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Dosen adalah pendidik profesional dan ilmuwan dengan tugas utama mentransformasikan, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni melalui pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dosen wajib memiliki kualifikasi akademik, kompetensi, sertifikat pendidik, sehat jasmani dan rohani, dan memenuhi kualifikasi lain yang dipersyaratkan satuan pendidikan tinggi tempat bertugas, serta memiliki kemampuan untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Dalam rangka mencapai target tersebut maka perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan assesment flourishing pada dosen di lingkungan PTM. Tujuan: mengkaji tingkat flourishing dosen di lingkungan PTM (UMY dan UMP), dan memberikan rekomendasi strategi peningkatan Self-Actualization dari dosen. Metode: pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan sosialisasi melalui sistem online kepada dosen, kemudian melakukan penilaian tingkat flourishing. Peserta dosen berjumlah 59 orang. Hasil: hasil dari sosialisasi dan assessment dosen mengenai flourishing menunjukkan dosen di PTM (UMY dan UMP) berada di tingkat sedang dan tinggi. Kesimpulan: Flourishing dosen di UMY dan UMP mayoritas masuk kategori tinggi, hal ini merupakan indikator keberhasilan kerja para dosen. Sosialisasi dan penilaian harus selalu dilakukan untuk mencari akar permasalahan dari rendahnya kinerja pada dosen.

Abstract

Health service is a complex social implementation because it engages in services that involve various professional groups. In realizing a healthy paradigm, health services with a family approach are developed. The family approach is an approach that empowers the potential of the family in dealing with family health problems independently by paying attention to physical, biological, social, economic and cultural aspects, especially on the health and well-being of mothers, infants, toddlers, adolescents, PUS, and the elderly. The purpose of this study was to explore the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers. Method: This research was a qualitative research with a case study approach. Semi-structure interview was used to interview 12 informants. Results: Based on the thematic analysis of the results of in-depth interviews and processed with NVIVO 12 Plus, 3 (three) main themes were obtained which were supported by the categories explaining the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers. The first theme is the responses from health workers regarding the implementation and benefits of family centered care in health services for postpartum mothers which are supported by two sub-themes, namely; (a) the form and principles of implementing family centered care by hospitals according to health workers and (b) the benefits of family centered care according to the opinion of health workers. The second theme is the opinions of patients and families about the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers supported by two sub-themes, namely: (a) responses and (b) the benefits of family centered care. The third theme is the obstacles to the implementation of family centered care supported by two sub-themes, namely: (a) internal barriers and (b) external impacts. Conclusions: Overall, the implementation of family centered care by health workers in postpartum mothers had a good response from health workers, the patient and the patient's family.

Abstract

Background: Development of CAUTI bundle is very important to evaluate the nurse in implementing nursing practice related to urinary catheter which is one of prevention efforts and risk control of CAUTI. Objective: The purpose of this study is to develop CAUTI bundle that is adjusted to hospital condition in Sejiran Setason Muntok Hospital. Methods: In this study used qualitative method by conducting indepth interview and focus group discussion (FGD). It conducted for 3 weeks in Sejiran Setason Muntok Hospital, the total sample are 22 participants. The result produced the themes that used as the material for the development of the bundle or the observation sheet of CAUTI. Results: There are 10 themes which become material for the development of CAUTI bundle. The CAUTI Bundle consists of bundle components such as indication of urinary catheter insertion, urinary catheter installation must comply with SOP, monitoring of urine output by regularly, emptying urine bag regularly, performing hand hygiene before and after procedure, using masks and handscoons, patients and families must be aware of their role in minimizing the risk of CAUTI. Conclusion: Development of the bundle is very important as one of prevention of CAUTI incident in hospital. Keyword : Bundle, CAUTI, Development.

Abstract

In hospital, the nurses not only give their service to patients, but they also expect the attention of the management of the hospital where she worked to motivate their work, in order to create optimal performance. This research employed a mixed method research with sequential explanory strategy model. Primary data were collected through in depth interview and used questionnaires. The population is all nurses in PKU Muhammadiyah hospital of Yogyakarta unit II, the sample is 51 nurses to answer the questionnaires and 4 nurses as the informants for the interview since July 2014. The purpose of this study was to analyze the motivation of nurses were reviewed by three dimensions according to the needs of Alderfer’s ERG theory of motivation. The results showed that the majority of nurses work motivation level was as high as many as 49 nurses with a percentage 96.00% and 2 nurses with a percentage 4.00% of nurses with low motivation levels. In descriptive terms of work motivation nurses were categorized high in ERG theory. The conclusion was that the level of motivation of the cnurses the inpatient at ward PKU Muhammadiyah hospital of Yogyakarta unit II analyzed by three dimensional according to the needs of Alderfer’s ERG theory of motivation is high.

Abstract

Health services provided in the hospital are likely to cause patient safety incidents which are adverse patient. The most incidents occurred in Indonesia are errors drug administration. Incidents can be prevented, one of them by training nurses on patient safety with S-BAR approach communications. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of patient safety training; S-BAR communication in reducing injection drug administration errors in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta Unit II. The type of research pre-experiment with the design of one group pretest-posttest design. Respondents were taken by purposive sampling technique, which total of 32 nurses who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. This study used the observation sheet instruments of 10 true principle of injection drug delivery. Analyzed by Wilcoxon test. After the training of patient safety: the SBAR communication given to nurses, there were signifi cant differences in injection drug administration errors based on the principle really patient, route, medicine, time, assessment, information and evaluation (p<0.05), but no signifi cant differences in principle correct dose, expired and documentation (p> 0.05). Conclusions and suggestions: patient safety training; SBAR communication on nurses wasc reduced injection drug administration errors effectively in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Unit II Yogyakarta based on the principle of right of patients, service, medicine, time, assessment, information and evaluation. Suggested Hospital to provide periodic training to all health workers, considering the creation of a patient safety culture is the responsibility of all parties in the Hospital. Thus increase the productivity of health workers as well as the creation of a patient safety culture.

Abstract

Penyusunan pola ketenagaan ini merupakan hal krusial dalam kegiatan perencanaan sumber daya manusia di rumah sakit. Banyaknya keluhan dari kepala unit tentang tingginya beban kerja dan kurangnya jumlah tenaga menyebabkan pelayanan kepada pasien kurang optimal. Pelaksanaan pelatihan penghitungan ketenagaan keperawatan dan non medis ini merupakan salah satu cara untuk mencegah terjadinya beban kerja lebih dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat untuk meningkatnya kemampuan kepala unit dalam menyusun pola ketenagaan dan analisis kebutuhan tenaga berdasarkan beban kerja di unit masing masing. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, simulasi, dan praktik. Hasil pelatihan yang telah dilakukan, semua peserta mampu melakukan simulasi penghitungan ketenagaan keperawatan dan non medis. Untuk unit kamar bedah, sudah didapatkan hasil akhir penghitungan jumlah tenaga. Beberapa faktor pendukung keberhasilan pelatihan ini antara lain manajemen RS memberikan dukungan yang sangat tinggi, memberikan fasilitas pelatihan yang sangat baik, peserta memiliki kemauan dan sangat antusias selama pelatihan. Beberapa kendala yang dihadapi selama pelatihan yaitu tidak semua peserta pelatihan membawa laptop sehingga saat simulasi dan praktik para peserta harus bergantian dengan kelompok lain dan arena sebagian besar peserta adalah kepala unit di RS sehingga beberapa diantaranya beberapa kali harus meninggalkan ruang pelatihan karena ada hal penting yang harus diselesaikan di ruangan.Kata Kunci : WISN, ketenagaan, penghitungan tenaga, perencanaan SDM, pelatihan.

Abstract

The use of pictorial Learning Cards aims to make it easier for students to provide associations with concepts and materials so that the images that students get can generate creative ideas. The pictorial kick card is expected to improve students' spatial and visual abilities. The purpose of this Literature Review is to review articles that examine Learning Card Development towards Improving Student Teamwork and Knowledge. The data used comes from journals that contain the concepts under study. The data collection process was carried out by filtering from 17,071 literary sources to 7 literatures based on the criteria determined by the author of each journal taken. The criteria referred to include the year the literature sources were taken from 2016 to 2019, the suitability of writing keywords, the relationship between the results of writing and discussion. Strategies in collecting journals for various literatures using accredited journal sites such as Google Scholar, Science Direct and BMC Medical Education. An effective way of writing for journal settings is by entering keywords according to the writing title such as "Learning Card AND Teamwork AND Knowledge. On the Learning card is a card that contains keywords in learning that are used by students in preparing solutions, concepts and problem solving both sequentially and systematically.

Abstract

Burns are the most severe trauma impact on both physical and psychological. With the limited types of advanced dressings are available in some hospitals, many alternatives were developed based treatment of burns moist (moisture balance dressings alternative) to accelerate wound healing. Non- pharmacological interventions for the treatment of psychological stress with SEFT therapy, the patient's with SEFT therapy will be relaxed and the mind becomes calm. Relaxation created very influential in the healing process. This study aim: To identify the physiological and psychological adaptation response of burn patients were given a combination of alternative SEFT moisture balance dressings and therapies. This research used action research that determine the physiological and psychological adaptation response of burn patients were given a combination of alternative moisture balance and SEFT therapy The sample is the total population that met the inclusion criteria. Result showed that There were 8 respondents (March - June 2014). Most of the 75% of men, aged between 17-51 years, extensive of wound between 6-55% TBSA, 37.5% stage II, stage III 62.5%.Physiological adaptation response with an wound healing indicator average 42.37 (36-49) showed that physiological adaptation response is adaptive, long time recovering the second degree on average 17.6 days (7-36 days), the average grade III 28 , 8 days (20-40 days). Psychological adaptation response with an acceptance score average 44.5 (40-50) and supported by the results of interviews all indicate an adaptive response to psychological adaptation. Conclusion: Psychological and physiological adaptation response following administration of a combination of alternative moisture balance dressings and therapies SEFT are adaptive.

Abstract

Anxiety, stress and depression in parents occur due to Covid-19 and Lockdown. The mental health of the parents has an impact on the child care they do. The aim of this literature review is to synthesize the best available evidence about parenting stress in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. This literature review useds 4 databases, namely Pubmed, Ebsco, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. The inclusion criteria, used in the selection of this study were full text, articles or journals in English, topics about parenting during Covid-19 pandemic era and articles or journals for the last 2 years (2019-2021). NVivo with NVivo 11 plus software were used for data analysis. Eleven journals were obtained based on the screening process and reviewed in this literature. The results of the analysis obtained 3 major themes, namely stressors of parenting in covid-19, parental stress and parenting stress, child abuse and child stress. Support is needed for parents during the Covid-19 pandemic so that parents do not experience stress and provide positive care for their children.
