An-Nisa verse 34 indulges in other people's disgrace. Third, An-Nahl verse 43, that venting (indulgence of disgrace) is permissible in the sense that an effort to solve a problem is included in the obligation, provided that with intention, it is conveyed to get a solution (intention, finding a solution) and delivered to someone who can provide a solution ( experts), as the moral ideals of the Qur'an that are relevant to the context of today's contemporary society.

Abstract

Abstract

Since the early period of Islamic history, the behavior of Muslims in all its aspects has been regulated by Islamic laws. These rules are, in essence, religious. Therefore, in its development, several efforts are always made to be based on the Qur’an, as the final Divine revelation. These applications of which are largely exemplified and operationalized by the Sunnah of the Prophet. The science of Islamic Jurisprudence/Ushûl Fiqh discusses and investigates the circumstances of the Shar'i propositions and also investigates how these propositions demonstrate the laws relating to the actions of the legally responsible/mukallaf. Therefore, the topic discussed in Ushûl Fiqh are the postulates of Islamic legal evidences/syara' in terms of their reference to the law for the actions of mukallaf. Related to the case of the Hajj vows, which unfulfilled due to death, The Prophet Muhammad established the law through analogical reasoning/qiyas. The Prophet Muhammad reminded people who made vows to obey Allah SWT more so that they fulfill their promises by obeying Allah SWT because in a hadith, it is explained that a vow is like a debt.

Abstract

Recent developments in Islamic philanthropic practices have shifted from traditional to modern ways through the use of information technology. This article seeks to analyze how prophetic communication is integrated by Baitulmaal Munzalan Indonesia (BMI) in its use of new media to enhance Zakah, Infāq, Ṣadaqah, and Waqf (Ziswaf) fundraising. This research uses a qualitative method by conducting field work through primary and secondary data collection. Primary data were collected through observation and interviews with members of the executive board and managers of this institution, while secondary data were obtained by exploring its website and social media. We found that the BMI has been using a number of new media, both online media and social media, to build the trust of the Muslim community in charity. Millennials are recruited as agents to carry out all of the BMI’s carefully planned programs. Through its social media, the BMI uses prophetic communication by involving several well-known ustadz (preachers) on social media as ambassadors for Ziswaf fundraising. We argue that the transformation of new media that communicate religious messages and are supported by the millennial movement has become an ecosystem for collecting, managing and distributing Ziswaf funds in its latest practice.

Abstract

Indonesia's growing Hajj and Umrah pilgrim population, along with a significant number of Indonesian expatriates in Saudi Arabia, has increased the demand for accessible and efficient Sharia-compliant financial services. The purpose of this paper is to analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) Indonesian sharia banking digital services for Indonesian citizens in Saudi Arabia (Hajj and Umrah pilgrims as well as Indonesian citizens living in Saudi Arabia) and finally prioritizing strategies according to expert assessments, including experts, practitioners, regulators and stakeholders. Since SWOT analysis is unable to rank the strategies developed, an analytical network process method is applied to prioritize them according to expert judgment. The results are compared with the results of the Analytic Network Process (ANP). The results of this research analysis found that the SWOT analysis found strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities in Indonesian sharia banking digital services for Indonesian citizens in Saudi Arabia. The criteria tested are digital sharia banking services, sharia banking regulations, budget, human resources, infrastructure. The results of the ANP analysis found that regarding the criteria for aspects of digital sharia banking services in Indonesia for Indonesian citizens in Saudi Arabia, the indicator that is the main priority is infrastructure. Then, in the sub-criteria for the digital service aspect of sharia banks, the main indicator is mobile banking, the sub-criteria for sharia banking regulations is the MoU on sharia banking in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the main indicators in the budget sub-criteria are costs required in Indonesia, the HR sub-criteria are IT HR in sharia banking in Saudi Arabia, and finally in the infrastructure sub-criteria is infrastructure in Indonesian sharia banking

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in natural resources, including coal and palm kernel shells (PKS), which can be used in the gasification process. This study compares the gasification potential of palm kernel shells and fine coal, focusing on their thermal properties and activation energy. Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) shows that PKS have higher volatile matter (67.25%) and lower fixed carbon (20.90%) than fine coal (33.53% volatile matter, 32.98% fixed carbon). at 450 °C, PKS lose 11% of their mass in one hour and reach a 78% loss by the end of the process, while fine coal loses 70% after more than 200 minutes. The activation energy for PKS is lower (38.925 J/mol) than fine coal (41.012 J/mol). In gasification, palm kernel shells produce more hydrogen (26% mol) and less carbon dioxide (11% mol) than fine coal, which produces more methane (28% mol) and carbon dioxide (22% mol). These results suggest that PKS are a more efficient and eco-friendly option for gasification. Keywords: Fine coal, palm kernel shells, activation energy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), gasification
