Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Berbasis Multimedia Terhadap Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMAN 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie Pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia” telah dilakukan pada tanggal 22 April sampai dengan tanggal 18 Mei 2013 di SMA Negeri 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan model tipe STAD berbasis multimedia dengan kelas konvensional pada siswa kelas XI-IPA di SMAN 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kontrol grup tes awal dan tes akhir. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 176 siswa, sampelnya sebanyak 60 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk menilai keterampilan berpikir kritis. Parameter penelitian ini adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan kooperatif STAD berbasis multimedia dengan konvensional. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis multimedia lebih baik daripada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model konvensional. Kata Kunci: STAD, Multimedia, Berpikir kritis, dan Sistem Pernapasan Manusia. A study entitled "The application of Cooperative Learning Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) of Multimedia -Based toward Critical Thinking of SMAN 1 Sakti Pidie Students in the material of Human Respiratory System" has been conducted since April 22 until May 18, 2013. This study was aiming at finding out the differences of students’ critical thinking between the class that used STAD models based on multimedia and the conventional one. This study was conducted in Science Class grade XI of SMAN 1 Sakti Pidie district in the material of human respiratory system. This study used a quasi-experimental method with pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of this study was all of students class XI for about 176 students. Meanwhile, the samples were 60 students that were divided into two classes, namely experimental class and control one. The instrument used in this study was a test of critical thinking skills. The data then analyzed by using t-test at the significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the critical thinking skill of students who learned by cooperative STAD using multimedia -based was better than those who learned by using conventional one. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of metacognitive strategiy on critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in human digestive system material at SMAN 5 and SMAN 12 in Banda Aceh. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019. The method used in this study is Experimental with the Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of the study were all students of class XI IPA in both SMAN 5 and SMAN 12 Banda Aceh. The students of SMAN 5 from class IPA 4 was used as the control class meanwhile students from class IPA 2 as the experimental class. Students in SMAN 12 from class IPA 1 was used as control class meanwhile students from class IPA 2 as the experimental class. Data analysis was carried out by normality, homogeneity and t-test. The results showed that the use of metacognitive strategiy had an effect on students' critical thinking abilities, this can be seen from the results of the t-test in SMAN 5, namely t-hit 15,59 > t-tab 1,64 and in SMAN 12 namely t- hit 15,32 > t-tab 1,645, as well as influencing the cognitive learning outcomes of students, seen in the results of the t-test in SMAN 5 namely 10,07 > t-tab 1,64 and in SMAN 12 which is 3,68 > t-tab 1,64. The conclusion is that the use of metacognitive strategiy influences critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in SMAN 5 and SMAN 12 in Banda Aceh.

Abstract

A study was carried out on the use of papain from papaya as quality enhancer for nata de coco which is fermented by Acetobacter xylinum in industrial home business in Cot Geundreut Village, Blang Bintang Aceh Besar.  The aim of the study was to find out whether the use of Papain can improve the quality of color, texture, pH and taste of nata de coco. The study used a complete factorial randomized design, with the concentration of papaya and papaya sap was 5 mL/L, 10 mL/L, 20 m/L, 30 mL/L, 50 mL/L. In ANAVA, the treatment showed a significant effect of papaya juice and papaya sap on nata de coco quality (Papaya juice (26,989) > Ftable (2,61); α = 0,05 and Papaya sap (122,542) > Ftable (2,61); α = 0,05. The treatment has no significant effect to the color, but it increased the pH of nata de coco to 6-7, and the structure of nata de coco became less chewy. However, although the organoleptic test does not affect the taste of nata de coco, respondents still prefer nata de coco without treatment because it has no trace of papaya and papaya sap smell. Therefore, this study needs further research to get more information about the taste.

Abstract

Crust moss (lichen) is a symbiotic organism between fungi and algae which play important roles in environment and can grow in extreme conditions. Therefore, those are important issues to be concerned. The study was aimed to identify the lichen species and their substrates in the Ie Seu um area of Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency. This research used exploratory survey methods. Observations were done at radii of 10, 20 and 30 meters from the hot spring. The parameters of the study were lichen species, types of thallus and substrate. Besides, the parameters consisting of air temperature and humidity, and light intensity were also measured. Data was analyzed descriptively and was revealed in tables and figures. The results  showed that there were 16 lichen species consisting of 7 species (at radius of 10 meters), 6 species (at radius of 20 meters), and 9 species (at radius of 30 meters). From the total species, there were 12 crustose-thallus species and 4 foliose-thallus species. The substrate types serve as the habitat of lichen were trees, stones and dead wood.

Abstract

In the 21st century, learning does not have to be in the real class. In this condition, teachers and students must be able to communicate and adapt to the development of information technology (IT). It is expected that teachers and students must be able to master the use of IT or the internet in e-learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of students in e-learning-based ecological learning. This approach is a quantitative approach with the type of research being descriptive. The method and design of survey research. The sample of this research is the total population of 340 students. The research instrument is a closing questionnaire, which is the result of adaptation from Tuntirojanawong research. In this study, the data collection was a questionnaire through the website:  Aceh Online Learning System: (SpadaAceh). The statistics used for the analysis of the questionnaire data are mean and standard deviation. The results of the study on the student readiness variable include 5 (five) indicators namely technology access (mean 3.52), technology skills (mean 3.51), learning ability (mean 3.65), time management skills (mean 3.51), and learning motivation (mean 3.51). The five indicators fall into the category "Ready but need a few improvements". It can be concluded that readiness students through technology access, technology skills, learning abilities, time management skills, and learning motivation are ready but needs a few improvements

Abstract

Pliek u merupakan makanan hasil fermentasi kelapa yang sudah dimanfaatkan sejak lama oleh masyarakat Aceh untuk dikonsumsi sebagai bumbu masak dan sambal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis jamur yang terlibat pada setiap tahapan proses pembuatan pliek u. Jamur diisolasi dan diidentifikasi dari substrat kelapa pada tahapan sebelum fermentasi, awal fermentasi, akhir fermentasi dan pada substrat pliek u. Jamur diidentifikasi menggunakan teknik slide culture. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 12 isolat jamur yang dikelompokkan dalam 10 genus. Pada substrat sebelum fermentasi ditemukan jamur Geotrichum sp.1, Geotrichum sp.2, Cladosporium sp., Aspergillus sp., Paecilomyces sp.1, Acremonium sp., Curvularia sp., dan Penicillium sp. Pada substrat awal fermentasi ditemukan jamur Curvularia sp., Paecilomyces sp.2, dan Chromelosporium sp. Pada substrat akhir fermentasi ditemukan jamur Curvularia sp., Chromelosporium sp. dan Mortierella sp. Pada substrat pliek u ditemukan jamur Mucor sp. Jamur Curvularia sp ditemukan hampir pada setiap substrat dalam tahapan pembuatan pliek u, yaitu pada substrat sebelum fermentasi, awal fermentasi dan dan akhir fermentasi. Hal ini dikarenakan jamur Curvularia sp mampu bertahan pada pH, suhu serta substansi kimia yang sesuai dengan kondisi substrat pembuatan pliek u.

Abstract

Habitat degradation that occurs in the mangrove ecosystem will have an impact on the presence of associated biota found in the ecosystem, including macrozoobenthos. If it continues, it will threaten the sustainability of macrozoobenthos resources which are characterized by decreasing abundance and it is not even impossible that one day they will become extinct. The purpose of this research is to analyze the species composition of macrozoobenthos and to analyze the composition of mangrove species. This research was conducted in the mangrove ecosystem of Naga Permai Beach, Gampong Lhok and Gampong Pulo, Kuala Pesisir District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province in December 2021. The research method was quadrat sampling. The results showed that the macrozoobenthos species found consisted of 2 phylum, 3 classes, 7 families with 16 species

Abstract

Trichoderma sp are common fungi in the soil and play important role in decomposing of cellulose-rich. The distribution of Trichoderma sp (TBPH isolate) in litter layers of Acacia mangium was observed in two years’ old of health standing (2S) and Ganoderma sp-attacked standing (2G). The objectives of this research were to observe Trichoderma sp distributions in leaf litter layers and to determine of antagonistic ability of Trichoderma sp TBPH against Ganoderma sp (GBR isolate). Trichoderma sp in sawdust medium was spread above of F litter layer in 50 x 50 cm area. Total populations of Trichoderma were observed each month during eight months. Antagonistic activities of Trichoderma sp TBPH against Ganoderma sp GBR were tested by dual test method on PDA and PDA with litter powder (PDAS) media.  The results showed that populations of Trichoderma sp were fluctuating and the highest population on both standings of F layer   and were followed by H and L layers. Fluctuations of Trichoderma sp population on L layer were tended to follow rainfall fluctuations while those on F layer were tended to follow litter pH fluctuations. Antagonistic test showed that inhibition percentage of PDAS medium was lower than those of PDA medium indicating litter amendment on media being causes of lower antagonistic activities of Trichoderma sp.

Abstract

Mushroom is one of living things with abundant diversity and has various beneficial potentials; one of them is as medicine. The use of mushrooms as medicine has long been known primarily as traditionally made herbs and the knowledge has been passed down for generations. The Pocut Meurah Intan Forest Park as a conservation forest, stores a variety of mushrooms in it. Data about the type of mushroom that has medicinal potential existed in the forest park has never been published so it is important to do so. This study aims to record the types of mushrooms that have benefits as medicines. The method used is an exploratory survey through a trail or tracking path then identified as a medicinal mushroom base on literature studies. The results of the study found 15 species of mushrooms that have potential as medicine, namely Cookeina tricholoma, Sarcoscypha coccinea, Tremella fuciformis, Auricularia auricula-judae, Flammulina velutipes, Schizophyllum commune, Scleroderma citrinum, Boletus edulis, Trametes versicolor, Lentinus tigrinus, Lentinus squarosulus, Ganoderma applanatum, Ganoderma resinaceum, Thelephora ganbajun and Lycoperdon echinatum. This shows that Pocut Meurah Intan Forest Park has great resources and potential that can be utilized for the benefit of the surrounding community, and it needs to be preserved so that diversity is maintained and can be used by future generations.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOrganoleptic or sensory test or sensory test is a test method in which the human senses function as the main instrument to determine whether a product is accepted. Organoleptic quality testing plays an essential role in implementing quality control. This study aimed to determine the effect of granulated sugar concentration on the organoleptic quality of nata de coco-leri. This study applied the experimental method with a non-factorial, Completely Randomized Design (CRD), including five treatments (negative control, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5% granulated sugar) with four replications. The parameters observed in this study were the organoleptic quality of nata de coco-leri. The data were analyzed quantitatively using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and the BNJ Follow-Up Test at a significant level of α = 0.05. The results of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and BNJ tests explained that there was an effect of significantly different concentrations of granulated sugar on organoleptic quality, including elasticity, color, taste, texture, and aroma of nata de coco-leri. This study concludes that the concentration of 2.5% granulated sugar is the nata product that has the most significant effect on the organoleptic quality of nata de coco-leri.Keywords: Nata, granulated sugar, organoleptic ABSTRAKOrganoleptik ataupun uji indra ataupun uji sensori yakni suatu metode pengujian dimana indra manusia sendiri berfungsi sebagai instrumen utama untuk menentukan diterima ataupun tidaknya suatu produk. Pengujian kualitas organoleptik memainkan peran penting dalam penerapan kontrol kualitas. Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi gula pasir terhadap mutu organoleptik nata de coco-leri. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial mencakup 5 perlakuan (kontrol negatif, perlakuan 1%, 1,5%, 2% dan 2,5% gula pasir) dengan 4 ulangan. Parameter yang dilakukan pengamatan pada penelitian ini yakni mutu organoleptik dari nata de coco-leri. Data dilaksanakan analisis secara kuantitatif dengan Analisis Varian (ANAVA) serta Uji Lanjut BNJ pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil uji analisis varian (ANAVA) dan BNJ menerangkan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh konsentrasi gula pasir yang berbeda nyata terhadap mutu organoleptik meliputi kekenyalan, warna, rasa, tekstur serta aroma nata de coco-leri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yakni konsentrasi 2,5% gula pasir yakni produk nata yang paling berpengaruh nyata terhadap mutu organoleptik nata de coco-leri.Kata Kunci: Nata, gula pasir, organoleptik
