Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of per capita income and the level of security in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia on the brain drain of Indonesia and to find out how the impact of brain drain on Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and uses panel data regression analysis. Based on the model specification test that has been carried out using the Chow test and the Hausman test, both suggest using the fixed effect model. The results show that the per capita income of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand has a negative and significant effect on Indonesia's brain drain. The income of the destination area is a pull factor for the occurrence of brain drain, but if the government has increased domestic wages, it can reduce brain drain. The level of security in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia has a negative and insignificant effect on brain drain in Indonesia, although the level of security is high in these countries, it does not necessarily guarantee legal protection for Indonesian workers who work there. If the brain drain continues, it will have a bad impact on Indonesia. Indonesia will lack a highly educated, expert or skilled workforce, so that Indonesia will be left far behind other countries in terms of economy, social and knowledge. For this reason, policies that support the development of domestic human resources are needed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the determinants of the human development index in East Java Province. Using the Human Development Index (HDI) data in 2020, spatial econometric models were used to identify the effect of GRDP, Population, Unemployment Rate and City Minimum Wage on HDI in East Java Province. The results of the competition on the three models show that the best model for estimating the HDI in East Java Province is the Spatian Error Model (SEM) compared to the Spatial Leg Model (SLM) and the Ordinary Least Square Model (OLS). The results of the Spatial Error Model Estimation show that GRDP and unemployment have a positive and significant impact on HDI in East Java Province during the study period. This means that GRDP and unemployment are able to encourage an increase in HDI in East Java Province. While the population variable has a negative and significant effect on the human development index in East Java Province. This means that the smaller the population will be able to encourage an increase in HDI in East Java Province. The UMK variable shows an insignificant effect, which means that the variable has not been able to influence the amount of HDI in East Java Province. The estimation results of the SEM model also show a positive and significant value of lamda, which can be interpreted that there is a spatial effect in the formation of HDI in East Java Province through error components.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence regional development disparities in the Java economic corridor. This research data uses secondary data taken from several official government publications. The analytical method used in this study is the panel data regression estimation method. The results of the study show that the best model for estimating the determinants of regional development disparities in the Java economic corridor is the Fixed Effect Model. The results of the estimation explain that the disparity of economic development in the Java corridor is significantly influenced by the Mean Years School (RLS) variable in a negative direction, the Investment variable also affects the disparity of economic development in the Java corridor positively and significantly, while the Unemployment variable has a positive but not significant effect.

The purpose of this study is to see the effect of Economic Growth, Human Development Index, and the Open Unemployment Rate on the Poverty Level in the northern coastal region of East Java. This study uses panel data, which combines time series and cross section data for 5 years, from 2016 to 2020. The results of the study show that the best model for estimating poverty levels in the northern coastal region of East Java is the random effect model. The results showed that Economic Growth had a negative and significant effect on the Poverty Level. The Human Development Index (HDI) has a negative and significant effect on the Poverty Level. The Open Unemployment Rate has a negative and significant effect on the Poverty Level.

Abstract

Yes-no question digunakan untuk mengukur kepuasan subjektif pengguna.

Abstract

Unmanaged organic waste will be a problem in itself. The solution offered to overcome the problem of wasting food waste in the form of vegetables and fruits is to make eco enzymes. Making integrated eco enzymes is by utilizing all waste in the vegetable/agricultural farming system, in the integrated agricultural cultivation process into a zero waste bioenergy cycle. If every household and farmer uses their waste to produce environmentally friendly enzymes, it can stop kitchen waste from polluting our land/zero waste and while reducing global warming, we can help change the climate and increase income from eco enzymes sold. In community service activities, all group members come to the partner to get direction and material on the eco enzyme making process and the benefits obtained. The income obtained by the farmer group or PKK mothers in one eco enzyme harvest is IDR 285,000. Eco enzyme materials such as kitchen waste in the form of unused vegetable scraps and fruit peels.

Abstract

Economic growth is caused by various structural factors, including agglomeration industries and regional spending. This study aims to analyze the influence of industrial agglomeration on economic growth in Indonesia using the Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) method. This method analyzes the spatially and temporally varied relationships between dependent and independent variables. This study considers spatial variation to investigate the variability of the economic growth model of each province in Indonesia. This study uses panel data with 34 provinces in Indonesia. Time range from 2017 to 2022. The results of the analysis show that the impact of industrial agglomeration on economic growth varies, with industrial agglomeration having a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Regional spending has a positive and significant influence on economic growth. These findings highlight the importance of policies adapted to regional conditions to maximize the benefits of industrial agglomeration and regional expenditure allocation in supporting sustainable economic growth in various provinces. This research provides important insights for policy makers and academics in designing more effective development strategies based on in-depth spatial analysis.
