Abstract

This research aims to design an integrated inventory information system with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, equipped with safety stock and reorder points, to assist stores in optimizing inventory control. The EOQ method is used to determine the number of orders that are economical so that it can minimize the total cost of inventory. The developed system not only calculates EOQ, but also manages inventory data in real-time, provides notifications of near-expired products, and re-order recommendations. This study fills the gap from previous studies that are still limited to semi-manual or unintegrated systems. The design results show that the EOQ-based information system is able to improve the efficiency of inventory management, reduce the risk of overstock and stock shortages, and support more accurate decision-making. Thus, this system is expected to help UD Bunda Ida in providing optimal service to consumers while increasing business profits.

Abstract

Source code plagiarism has become a recurring issue in higher education, particularly in programming-related courses where students may copy portions or entire segments of source code from their peers. This situation creates challenges for lecturers in evaluating the originality of student assignments, especially when dealing with a large number of submissions within limited time constraints. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based source code plagiarism detection application using the Rabin–Karp algorithm to identify and measure the similarity level between programming code documents. The research employed a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and literature review, while system development followed the Agile methodology. The developed application was tested using source code files written in C++, Java, and Python programming languages. Black-box testing demonstrated that all system functions operated successfully, including file uploading, preprocessing, tokenization, rolling hash generation, fingerprint matching, and similarity calculation. The validity testing results showed similarity percentages ranging from 2.81%–62.70% for C++ files, 17.26%–54.49% for Java files, and 6.35%–34.89% for Python files. These findings indicate that the application can effectively detect similarities between source code documents and support lecturers in identifying potential plagiarism cases. Furthermore, the Rabin–Karp algorithm proved capable of performing similarity analysis efficiently across multiple programming languages with relatively fast processing time.

Abstract

Hutan lindung memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem, namun pengelolaannya di Kabupaten Karo masih terkendala minimnya pemahaman karakteristik lahan dan penggunaan metode pemantauan yang konvensional. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis Geographic Information System (GIS) dan algoritma K-Means Clustering untuk mengelompokkan wilayah kerja kelompok tani berdasarkan ketinggian, kelembapan, kemiringan, suhu, dan jenis tanah. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development model Borg & Gall dengan tahapan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur, diikuti analisis data spasial dan non-spasial untuk menghasilkan empat cluster: C1 (Tanaman Tahunan), C2 (Tanaman Bawah 1), C3 (Tanaman Bawah 2), dan C4 (Usaha Non-Pertanian). Sistem yang dikembangkan menampilkan peta digital interaktif yang memudahkan identifikasi potensi, permasalahan, dan perencanaan strategi pengelolaan. Hasil pengujian blackbox menunjukkan seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai rancangan dan mampu meningkatkan kecepatan analisis dibanding metode manual. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengintegrasian data spasial dan non-spasial dalam pengelolaan hutan lindung berbasis clustering, dengan potensi penerapan di wilayah konservasi lainnya.

Abstract

Foreign Citizens are recorded in a government agency, namely the Class II Immigration Office of Tanjung Balai Asahan in the field of Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement. The information available at the Immigration Office is limited to data in the form of tables containing information from the foreigner, so that when the data increases, it will be difficult for officers to search for foreigner data. Therefore, we need a geographic information system regarding the distribution of foreigners. This research uses Leaflet, and Quantum GIS for map visualization. The existence of this geographic information system can provide information about foreigners to the public in order to socialize the presence of foreigners, and can also report the presence of foreigners who have not been registered, and can support immigration services for the supervision of foreigners.

Abstract

Science and technology is experiencing rapid development and progress in the world of education. One of them is technology in learning media. Language recognition in children needs to be improved on the media. The purpose of this research is to build interactive learning media for the introduction of IMAI languages (Indonesian, Mandarin, Arabic, and English) to broaden students' knowledge of languages. With the existence of learning media packaged with animation using Adobe Flash, it can also attract students' interest in learning languages. This learning media uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development model with 6 stages. The result of this research is an interactive learning media for the introduction of the IMAI language (Indonesian, Mandarin, Arabic, and English) at the elementary level with material aimed at grade 3 elementary school students

Abstract

PT. Sinergi Indo Prima is a company that supports employment services or called outsourcing. Services included in the outsourcing are security guards, administrative staff, factory workers, drivers, sales promoters, and cleaning services. As for looking for prospective workers PT. Sinergi Indo Prima Medan has a problem, namely the system is still manual, data input only uses Microsoft Excel or does not have a professional decision support system in selecting prospective workers who meet the criteria, so that the prospective workers to be distributed are not in accordance with the competencies of the areas of expertise assigned to them. required by companies in need. In this study the author uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method, using the C5.0 Algorithm, with the support of Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools using the Java programming language based on Android Studio, Microsoft Visio and Umlet to design the interface. The results of the design of the recruitment selection system for outsourcing prospective workers is an application called AKSIP which is used for the data selection process for prospective workers in each job category, while the results of testing data from 6 job categories using the C5.0 Algorithm achieve a success percentage of accuracy value of 94%

Abstract

Sebuah perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan maintenance mesin. Proses penjadwalan perawatan yang masih mengandalkan catatan manual dan pengalaman teknisi sering mengakibatkan mesin prioritas terabaikan, kerusakan mendadak, dan waktu henti produksi (downtime) yang berujung pada kerugian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun Sistem Informasi Penjadwalan Maintenance Mesin berbasis web yang terstruktur dan efisien. Metode yang digunakan adalah Earliest Due Date (EDD), sebuah algoritma job sequencing yang memprioritaskan perawatan berdasarkan tanggal jatuh tempo (due date) tercepat untuk meminimalkan keterlambatan maksimum (maximum tardiness). Pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall dengan implementasi berbasis PHP dan database MySQL. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi digital yang mampu mengelola jadwal perawatan, mencatat riwayat perbaikan, dan memberikan notifikasi secara otomatis. Penerapan metode EDD dalam sistem ini diharapkan mampu mengatasi masalah penjadwalan, meminimalkan downtime mesin, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, dan memastikan setiap mesin mendapatkan perawatan tepat waktu, sehingga meningkatkan produktivitas perusahaan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Sales of tea powder experience significant fluctuations influenced by consumption trends, seasonal factors, and changes in market demand, which may lead to overstock and understock problems. These conditions highlight the need for an accurate and practical forecasting tool that can directly support managerial decision-making. This study aims to develop a web-based sales and revenue forecasting information system by integrating the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method. The dataset consists of historical tea powder sales from May 2023 to March 2025, aggregated into monthly time series data. The research stages include data preprocessing, visualization, stationarity testing using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test, differencing, ARIMA model identification and parameter estimation, forecasting, and model evaluation using MAE, MSE, and MAPE. The evaluation results indicate that ARIMA(1,1,2) is the best-performing model, achieving an MAE of 4.07, an MSE of 3.15, and a MAPE of 147.34%. The forecasting results show fluctuating patterns in future sales and revenue. The main contribution of this research lies in the integration of the ARIMA forecasting model into a web-based information system that enables automatic and real-time prediction, providing practical support for inventory planning and data-driven managerial decision-making.

Abstract

Kesulitan menemukan lokasi wilayah kerja kantor dan pos SAR (Search and Rescue) dalam suatu wilayah kerja tertentu sehingga mengakibatkan sejumlah kantor dan pos SAR tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat sekitarnya dan sisi lainnya juga dapat menyebabkan rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kantor dan pos SAR terdekat. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menciptakan SIG berbasis PHP mengenai pemetaan wilayah kerja kantor dan pos pencarian atau pertolongan sar yang berada di sumatera utara dengan memakai mapping berbasis PHP. Manfaat dari web ini dapat menyajikan informasi secara terintegrasi dari data spasial dan data non spasial. Informasi untuk sebaran wilayah kerja kantornya memiliki tampilan interaktif, sehingga dapat memberikan kemudahan terhadap masyarakat untuk paham dan mengetahui lokasi kantor dan pos sar terdekat dengan wilayah kerja itu. Sistem ini mempunyai fitur maptip map untuk mengetahui data informasi dari tiap koordinat yang dapat menampilkan informasi terkait wilayah kerja kantor dan koordinat kantor SAR.

Abstract

This study proposes the use of the Random Forest algorithm to forecast the cryptocurrency Binance's daily prices. With a dataset covering 1992 observations from January 1, 2018, to June 15, 2023, the research focuses on PT. Tennet Depository Indonesia. Through Python implementation, the experimental results indicate that Random Forest is effective in providing accurate price predictions, with an average Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of approximately 1.38% and an average Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of about 4.38. The uniqueness of the system lies in the algorithm's capability to handle market complexities and volatility, offering adaptive solutions to the unpredictable dynamics of the market. Nevertheless, limitations in historical data and market volatility persist as inhibiting factors, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach. The average MAPE and RMSE results provide an indication of the overall reliability of the model in facing cryptocurrency market volatility. These conclusions can contribute to the development of more robust and adaptive models to respond to the evolving market conditions.
