Abstract

Teachers play a vital role in the education system because they are the ones who are actually responsible for educating students in the classroom. To a large extent, student achievement and teacher satisfaction determine the quality of education. The quality of learning and student learning outcomes are directly influenced by the level of motivation of instructors, which in turn influences their level of enthusiasm when carrying out their duties. With this study, we will better understand how the principals of Tunjungseto Elementary School can inspire their teachers to do their best work. The primary methods of qualitative data collection for this study were interviews, participant observation, and written notes. The study showed that the involvement of the principal in providing ongoing guidance, incentives, and support has a significant impact on the growth of teacher motivation to perform well. Good principals know what they are doing when it comes to encouraging professional development for teachers and cultivating a fun workplace. Motivating teachers to do their best work is an area where principals can make a big difference. To foster an atmosphere that supports teacher professional development, principals must offer clear guidance, inspiration, and ongoing support. If para-administrators are successful in making teachers feel valued and supported in their work, it will show in their motivation and performance in the classroom. How effective principals are in inspiring their staff to perform well depends on a number of factors, including consistent and clear communication, support from management, and adequate resources. Schools with principals who can foster an environment of open communication and who are willing to support improvements in school facilities tend to be happier.

Abstract

The principal's transformational leadership style is a significant factor in improving teacher work effectiveness. In addition to transformational leadership, a deep understanding of the curriculum is crucial for teachers in carrying out their duties. Work motivation is also a key factor that contributes to improving teacher performance. This study examines the relationship between school culture, transformational leadership, and teacher performance in the Special Sports Class (KKO) in Bantul Regency at the junior high school level. This study uses a quantitative survey method involving 114 teachers from five Special Sports Class (KKO) schools at the junior high school level in Bantul Regency. Data collection was carried out using a Likert-based questionnaire, and data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS to test the relationship between the variables studied. The results of the study indicate that work motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance.Meanwhile, transformational leadership and curriculum understanding do not have a significant direct effect on teacher performance. However, school culture is a mediator that strengthens the relationship between these variables and teacher performance. The implications of this study provide practical insights for policymakers in the field of education, especially in developing strategies to improve the effectiveness of principal leadership and create a school environment that supports teacher professional growth. Principals are expected to adopt a more effective transformational leadership style by providing teachers with support, inspiration, and intellectual stimulation. In addition, strengthening a positive school culture through cooperation, communication, and appreciation of teacher achievement is a strategic step to improve teacher motivation and overall performance.

Abstract

Implementing education report cards still faces challenges, such as low data literacy, limited internet access, and lack of intensive training for teachers and principals. Most schools have not utilized education report card data optimally. Many schools do not systematically utilize education report card data in a real action plan. This article aims to determine how using education report cards improves teacher performance and school quality at SDN 2 Purbowangi. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. Using education report cards with the right strategy can improve teacher performance and school quality at SDN 2 Purbowangi. Using data in education report cards helps educational units identify problems, set priorities, determine root causes, and design programs relevant to problem indicators systematically and in a structured manner. Success in reading educational report card data into concrete actions gives educational units definite steps to improve school quality. Teacher training programs, workshops, In House Training (IHT) can improve teacher performance. However, this study also shows several obstacles, such as a lack of knowledge in interpreting data, less fundamental root cause data, and many misconceptions between principals and teachers. Schools are expected to form a special team responsible for supporting the use of educational report cards.

Abstract

This study aims to present an in-depth analysis of the potential application of Deep Learning learning methods in improving reading literacy skills for elementary school students who face reading barriers. This literature review explores the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Deep Learning in the context of education, identifies the challenges faced by learners with reading difficulties, reviews existing teaching strategies, and researches case studies of Deep Learning implementation. In addition, this review literature discusses Deep Learning architectures relevant to natural language processing, the steps of developing and evaluating Deep Learning-based learning systems, ethical and practical considerations, and the resources and tools available. Key findings highlight the potential of Deep Learning in personalizing learning, providing intelligent guidance, automating assessments, and adaptive learning material generation. However, successful implementation requires careful consideration of pedagogical, ethical, and practical factors, as well as investment in teacher training and adequate infrastructure. With the Development of Deep Learning Learning Methods, it is hoped that early evaluation and implementation at the elementary school education level will be one of the keys to timely intervention and prevention before taking root and causing significant academic challenges in the future for students.
