Abstract

Waqf in Islamic insurance, especially in products like Takafulink Salam, exhibits significant differences from conventional waqf, which typically involves the preservation of buildings or land by past communities. The research aims to analyze the role of waqf in Sharia-compliant insurance products and to comprehend the concept of waqf as a worship and social instrument in the context of Sharia insurance. The research methodology involves in-depth interviews and documentation techniques focusing on the waqf pledge within Sharia life insurance policies, fee provisions within policies, and other aspects regulated by relevant regulations and fatwas. The research findings indicate that waqf pledges are made on various occasions, such as the end of the agreement period, redemption by policyholders, or the death of the main participants. Financial aspects, including fees, are regulated by the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 69/POJK.05/2016. Fatwa DSN No.52/DSN-MUI/III/2006 provides guidelines regarding the contract of agency with a fee in Sharia insurance. The research concludes by emphasizing the important role of waqf in Sharia insurance, creating social and worship benefits, and illustrating the integration of waqf in Sharia insurance products such as Takafulink Salam. Although related to insurance, the concept of waqf remains distinct as a form of worship that supports social development.

This can be seen from humans as zoo managers who are less than optimal in caring for the animals in the Medan Zoo because salaries are not given. , The environment is damaged due to the lack of more attention from the city government as the person responsible for the Medan Zoo, and a decrease in profits caused by no change in quality both in terms of environment and facilities as well as competition with other tourist attractions

Abstract

This research examines the patriarchal dominance found in the Medhak Sanggring tradition in Tlemang Lamongan Village. Mendhak Sanggring is a tradition carried out to commemorate the death and graduation day of the village founder, Ki Buyut Terik. In its implementation, there are four traditional stages, namely sitting in the spring, cleaning the cungkup (grave), puppet performances and cooking goat meat, as well as cooking sanggring vegetables and visiting the grave. In practice, all stages are mostly carried out by men. Women are only assigned to strategic tasks such as cooking. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with direct data collection techniques in the field, namely observation and interviews. The results of this research are that the people of Tlemang Village are not aware of the patriarchal culture contained in the Mendhak Sanggring tradition because the tradition has existed since before they were born. So the domination of men is always considered normal because the rules that have been applied since the past have been like that. Then, forms of male domination can be seen at every stage of the tradition, starting from forming a committee, sitting at the spring, cleaning the grave, to cooking sanggring vegetables.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction, the influence of insurance costs on customer satisfaction and the size of installments on customer satisfaction for multi-purpose financing at the Sumut Syariah Bank, Padangsidimpuan Branch. This research uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to multi-purpose financing customers. The population of this research is all multi-purpose financing customers with a total of 862 people. The sample used in this research was 90 respondents. The validity test uses the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, while the reliability test uses Cronbach alpha. Classic assumption tests include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests and autocorrelation tests. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. The research results state that service quality and insurance costs partially have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. This means that the higher the quality of service provided will increase customer satisfaction, and the suitability of the insurance costs provided with the benefits obtained by the customer will provide a level of customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, the installment amount does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, this is because previously the installment amount had been analyzed using scoring analysis which had an influence on the installment amount.
