Abstract

Ikan Cupang (Betta splendens) adalah ikan yang hidup di air tawar yang. digemari masyarakat sebagai ikan hias karena memiliki warna tubuh yang indah serta cerah dan bisa bernilai jual tinggi, sehingga pembudidaya perlu mempertahankan kelangsungan hidup ikan. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan internal. Faktor internal terdiri dari makanan yang dikonsumsi, sedangkan ekternal mencakup lingkungan luar seperti suhu dan pH. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung limbah cangkang kepiting bakau (Scylla sp.) terhadap kelangsungan hidup Ikan Cupang. Metode pada penelitian eksperimen non-faktorial dengan percobaan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut terdiri dari P0 (0 g), P1 (63 g), P2 (126 g) dan P3 (189 g) tepung cangkang kepiting. Data dianalisis  menggunakan uji Analisis Varian (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan .bahwa kelangsungan hidup ikan saat pemberian pakan campuran tergolong sangat baik, karena nilai SR (%) diatas 50%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pakan campuran tepung limbah cangkang kepiting dapat mempertahankan kelangsungan hidup ikan dengan nilai SR (%) 70-100%.

Abstract

AbstractThe Sumatran elephant is the largest land mammal that is threatened with extinction. Elephants are threatened for their survival due to habitat loss and human-elephant conflict. One of the mitigation efforts to reduce human-elephant conflict is to use the beehive fence method. Stingless bee was thought to influence elephant behavior. In this study, the behavior of the elephants that chosen was anti-predator behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the stingless bee nest on elephant anti-predator behavior and to find out how the elephant's anti-predator response was. This study used field experiment method and for observing elephant behavior using a focal animal sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using the Kruskal Wallis test. The results showed that at treatment distances P1 (1 m) and P2 (1≤X5 m) the dominant response was elephant retreating away with a percentage of 67%. The conclusion of this study is that the stingless bee nest affects the behavior of the Sumatran elephant and the form of anti-predator response shown are flicking the trunk, produce sound and retreating away from the stingless bee nest.Keywords: stingless bee, behavior, anti-predator, Sumatran elephant AbstrakGajah Sumatera merupakan mamalia darat terbesar yang terancam punah. Gajah terancam keberlangsungan hidupnya dikarenakan hilangnya habitat serta terjadinya konflik manusia-gajah. Salah satu upaya mitigasi untuk mengurangi konflik manusia-gajah ialah dengan menggunakan metode pagar sarang lebah. Kelulut diperkirakan dapat mempengaruhi perilaku gajah. Pada penelitian ini perilaku gajah yang dipilih ialah perilaku anti-predator. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sarang kelulut terhadap perilaku anti-predator gajah serta mengetahui bagaimana respon anti-predator gajah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode field experiment dan untuk pengamatan perilaku gajah menggunakan teknik focal animal sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada jarak perlakuan P1 (1 m) dan P2 (1≤X5 m) respon yang mendominasi ialah gajah mundur dengan presentase 67%. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah sarang kelulut berpengaruh terhadap perilaku Gajah Sumatera dan bentuk respon anti-predator yang ditampakkan berupa mengibaskan belalai, bersuara dan mundur menjauh dari sarang kelulut.Kata Kunci: kelulut, perilaku, anti-predator, gajah Sumatera

Abstract

The Gampong Pande Mangrove Area is one of the coastal areas that has mangrove forests destroyed due to the natural disaster in 2004. The impact of mangrove damage affects the number of individuals in the Gampong Pande mangrove area. This study aims to determine the pattern of coastal trinil distribution in the Gampong Pande Mangrove area. Data collection was carried out in January 2022 with a purposive sampling technique using the Line transect method. The results of this study recorded 984 individuals of coastal trinil birds in the Gampong Pande area with a pattern of distribution of coastal trinil populations at the first location obtained a Morisita Standard Index value denoted by Ip of 0.55, in the second location an Ip value of 0.56 was obtained and at the third location an Ip value of 0.57 was obtained. The conclusion on the three locations was obtained the Morisita Standard Index Ip 0 so that it can be said that the pattern of distribution of coastal trinil populations (Actitis hypoleucos) in three locations located in Gampong Pande, Kuta Raja District, Banda Aceh City, is a clustered distribution.Keywords: common sandpiper, mangroves, distribution patternsKawasan Mangrove Gampong Pande merupakan salah satu daerah pesisir pantai yang memiliki hutan mangrove hancur akibat bencana alam tahun 2004. Dampak kerusakan mangrove mempengaruhi jumlah individu pada kawasan mangrove Gampong Pande. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola persebaran trinil pantai di kawasan Mangrove Gampong Pande. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada januari 2022 dengan teknik purposive sampling menggunakan metode Line transect. Hasil penelitian ini tercatat 984 individu burung trinil pantai di kawasan Gampong Pande dengan pola persebaran populasi trinil pantai pada lokasi pertama diperoleh nilai Indeks Standar Morisita dilambangkan dengan Ip sebesar 0.55, pada lokasi kedua diperoleh nilai Ip sebesar 0.56 dan pada lokasi ketiga diperoleh nilai Ip sebesar 0.57. Kesimpulan pada ketiga lokasi tersebut diperoleh Indeks Standar Morisita Ip 0 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa pola persebaran populasi trinil pantai (Actitis hypoleucos) pada tiga lokasi yang berada di Gampong Pande Kecamatan Kuta Raja Kota Banda Aceh merupakan persebaran mengelompok.Kata Kunci: burung trinil pantai, mangrove, pola persebaran

Abstract

Malacostraca is a class of the Phylum Crustacea. Most of this class is shrimp, crab, lobster and hermit crab. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of Malacostraca in the Kuala Langsa Mangrove Forest Area, Langsa City. The research was carried out from March to August 2021. The research sample was taken from July 31, 2021 to August 8, 2021. The method used was a survey method with purposive sampling technique. Identification of Malacostraca using the book Crab Uca in Indonesian Mangrove Forests, 2015 and Protocol for Collecting Data on Mangrove Crab Fisheries Scylla serrata, Indonesia, 2017. Data analysis using the Shannon-Wiener Diversity Formula. The results found 10 species, with the highest diversity index of Malacostraca found at station 3 at 1.53 and the lowest diversity at station 2 at 0.73. It can be concluded that the level of diversity of Malacostraca in the Kuala Langsa Mangrove Forest Area of Langsa City is low to moderate, with a diversity index ranging from 0.73-1.53.Keywords: Diversity, Malacostraca, Mangrove Forest Malacostraca yaitu salah satu kelas dari Filum Crustacea. Sebagian besar kelas ini yaitu udang, kepiting, lobster dan kelomang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Keanekaragaman Malacostraca di Kawasan Hutan Mangrove Kuala Langsa Kota Langsa. Penelitian dilakukan sejak bulan Maret sampai Agustus 2021. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 31 Juli 2021 sampai 8 Agustus  2021. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan teknik purposive sampling. Identifikasi Malacostraca menggunakan buku Kepiting Uca di Hutan Mangrove Indonesia, 2015 dan Protokol Pengumpulan Data Perikanan Kepiting Bakau Scylla serrata, Indonesia, 2017. Analisis data menggunakan Rumus Keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 10 spesies, dengan indeks keanekaragaman Malacostraca tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 3 sebesar 1,53 dan keanekaragaman terendah terdapat pada stasiun 2 yaitu 0,73. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat keanekaragaman Malacostraca di Kawasan Hutan Mangrove Kuala Langsa Kota Langsa adalah rendah sampai sedang, dengan indeks keanekaragaman berkisar antara 0,73-1,53.Kata Kunci: Keanekaragaman, Malacostraca, Hutan Mangrove

Abstract

Betta fish (Betta splendens) is a freshwater fish. that is favored by the public as ornamental fish because it has a beautiful and bright body. color and can be of high selling value, so cultivators need to maintain the survival of the fish. Survival rates can be influenced by external and internal factors. Internal factors consist of the food consumed, while external factors include the external environment such as temperature and pH. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving mud crab shell waste flour (Scylla sp.) on the survival of Betta Fish. This study used a non-factorial experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experiment with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (0 g), P1 (63 g), P2 (126 g) and P3 (189 g) crab shell flour. Data analyzed using ui Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the. survival of fish during mixed feeding was very good, because the SR (%) value was above 50%. Abstract

AbstractThe coast of Banda Aceh City is one area that is often visited by migratory birds with different types of habitats. This study aims to obtain data and information on the types of migratory birds and the types of habitats used by migratory birds on the coast of Banda Aceh City. Data collection is carried out to January 2022. The method used is direct observation with point counts. The parameters in this study are the types of migratory birds and the type of stopover habitat on the coast of Banda Aceh City. Based on research conducted on the coast of Banda Aceh City, it was found that the types of migratory birds that stopped by were Ardea Cinerea, Egretta alba, Egretta garzetta, Pluvialis fulva, Hirundo rustica, Sterna sumatrana, Merops philippinus, Numenius aquarta, Actitis hypoleucos, Nisaetus cirrhatus, Haliastereetus , and Butorides striata. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are 12 species of miran birds that stop on the coast of Banda Aceh City with coastal habitat types, mangrove forests, ponds, and swamps.Keywords: distribution, migratory birds, coastAbstrakPesisir pantai Kota Banda Aceh merupakan salah satu kawasan yang sering disinggahi oleh burung migran dengan jenis habitat yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data dan informasi jenis burung migran serta jenis habitat yang digunakan burung migran di pesisir pantai Kota Banda Aceh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2022. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung dengan point count. Parameter dalam penelitian ini yaitu jenis burung migran dan jenis habitat persinggahannya di pesisir pantai Kota Banda Aceh. Bedasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di pesisir pantai Kota Banda Aceh diperoleh hasil jenis burung migran yang singgah yaitu Ardea Cinerea, Egretta alba, Egretta garzetta, Pluvialis fulva, Hirundo rustica, Sterna sumatrana, Merops philippinus, Numenius aquarta, Actitis hypoleucos, Nisaetus cirrhatus, Haliaeetus leucogaster, dan Butorides striata. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan jenis burung miran yang singgah di pesisir pantai Kota Banda Aceh sebanyak 12 spesies dengan jenis habitat pantai, hutan manggrove, tambak, dan rawa.Kata kunci: sebaran, burung migran, pesisir

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research to explore the improvement of student learning outcomes who in learning process apply make a match model combined with image media in ecosystem materials. Method applied is an experiment using a pretest posttest control group design. Sample used is 60 students. The parameters measured were learning outcomes whose measurements were carried out through the provision of pre-test and post-test questions. The analysis used parametric statistical test (t test). The results analysis prove the value of Sig. 0.000 0.05, so it can be summarized from the research that the application of the make a match learning model combined with image media in ecosystem materials has an effect on improving learning outcomes.  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendalami peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang dalam proses belajarnya menerapkan model make a match dipadu media gambar di materi ekosistem. Metode yang diterapkan adalah eksperimen menggunakan desain pretest postest control group. Sampel yang dipakai berjumlah 60 peserta didik. Parameter yang diukur adalah hasil belajar yang pengukurannya dilaksanakan melalui pemberian soal pre-test dan post-test. Analisis menggunakan uji statistik parametris (uji t). Hasil analisis membuktikan nilai Sig. 0,000 0,05, sehingga dapat dirangkum dari penelitian bahwa pada penerapan model pembelajaran make a match dipadu dengan media gambar pada materi ekosistem berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective science e-module based on QISI used in the learning process of the solar system. The research method used in this research is Research & Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP IT Luqmanul Hakim Aceh with a sample of 31 seventh-grade students. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the validity test obtained a percentage of 87.40% with very valid criteria. In addition, the results of the practicality test by the science teachers obtained a percentage of 86.88% with very practical criteria, then the results of the practicality test by students obtained a percentage of 80.78% with practical criteria. Science e-module is effectively used in learning, with the result of obtaining an N-gain value of 0.62. So, it can be concluded that the science e-module based on QISI has been successfully developed which is very valid, practical, and effectively used in solar system learning

Abstract

An important goal of learning system is to deliver instruction that can produce equal or better learning outcomes. To achieve this goal, the number of research has been conducted to address the issue of what antecedent variables can affect the student learning outcomes. One of the methods which can develop student learning outcomes is case method based on flipped classroom. This research was conducted to analyze student learning outcomes using case method based on flipped classroom. This research is the quasi-experimental research with posttest only control group design. There is the control class and the experimental class in this research with a little of case method vs a lot of case method design.  The participants in this study were 82 biology students using the total sampling technique.  Data were analyzed using ANOVA to analyze the student learning outcome using case method based on flipped classroom. The results of study using case method based on flipped classroom has significant effect on student learning outcomes with a significance value of p < 0.05 with F (6.59) = 3.97, p=.012. Thus, it can be concluded that the case method which is combine with flipped classroom gives the positive impact on student learning outcomes

Abstract

Low self-efficacy is due to the fact that the learning process only focuses on the material with rote concepts, so that students are not given the opportunity to practice self-confidence by conducting group discussions and making observations about the circulatory system so that students are less confident in their opinions, ask and answer questions. In fact, the biology learning process in schools does not encourage students to practice self-efficacy. The approach used in learning does not direct students to practice self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between the application of SAVI-based multiple representation and SAVI learning on self-efficacy on the material of the circulatory system in class 11th SMAN Bener Meriah.The method used is quasi-experimental, with non randomized  control group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were 156 students of class 11th MIPA, amounting to 487 students, while the sample was 120 taken by purposive sampling.. The instrument used in this study is a test consisting of a self-efficacy questionnaire. Data analysis using Anova test. Results of the study show that there are differences in the self-efficacy of students who are taught using SAVI-based multiple representation learning and SAVI learning on self-efficacy on the material of the circulatory system at SMAN Bener Meriah. Conclusion: the application of SAVI-based multiple representation is effective in increasing students' self-efficacy.
