Abstract

Rapid urbanization and climate variability have degraded water quality and reduced the resilience of urban watershed. This study proposes a climate-responsive conceptual framework for assessing Water Ecological Carrying Capacity (WECC) in urban environments. The framework integrates hydro – climatic indicators, urban – climatic dynamics, and adaptive policy interventions, structured within the Driver–Pressure–State–Impact–Response (DPSIR) model. It is designed to evaluate the dynamic interactions between urban growth, climate variability, and freshwater ecosystem thresholds. A systematic review of 14 studies from Asia and beyond provides empirical support for the framework. Indicators such as streamflow variability, urban land use, water temperature, and governance capacity are categorized within the DPSIR components to illustrate the multifaceted nature of WECC. The study highlights how hydro – climatic and socio – economic stressors interact to influence the vulnerability and resilience of water ecosystems. Figures and tables within the paper visualize these interactions and simulate feedback loops under various environmental and policy scenarios. While the model presents a comprehensive and adaptable framework, it is based on secondary data and lacks validation through localized, real-time application. Nevertheless, it serves as a strategic tool for anticipating and addressing urban water sustainability challenges. It encourages the use of integrated, climate – informed planning approaches and provides a foundation for future research and policy in climate – sensitive regions. This study underscores the importance of evaluating WECC not as a static measure but as a dynamic function shaped by ecological, social, and climatic processes.

Abstract

The evaluation of supplier selection is an important aspect that needs to be considered in supply chain management. The best suppliers contribute to a more efficient supply chain system. Companies operating in the food distribution sector are particularly attentive to their suppliers. One of the products that receives significant attention is spinach, a perishable item, making supplier evaluation crucial. This research aims to evaluate the supplier selection of spinach products based on several criteria, such as delivery, quality, price, service, and location. Weighting is done using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In this case, assessment or weighting is carried out by distributing questionnaires to three respondents in the field. The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method is employed to determine the rankings of each alternative. The results of this study indicate that the price criterion has the highest weight with a weight of 0.39. The recommended selected alternative is alternative 4, with the highest average value (Vi) based on the assessments of three experts. This model proves capable of addressing the issues of supplier selection evaluation, leading to the selection of alternative or supplier 4 as the spinach supplier for the food distribution company.

Abstract

Assessment of the performance of employees of a survey service company produces a final score that is not in accordance with the company's transformation strategy in responding to external challenges and demands. The variable assessment process still uses 180 Degree Feedback which is one-way from superiors to employees. This makes the company's learning and growth activities, especially in the human resources department, not occur. Therefore, companies should improve the assessment model to become a tool for acquiring highly qualified performing employees. This study contributes to obtain a more comprehensive employee performance assessment model proposal and evaluate the model so that it can be implemented. The research limitation lies in the use of data, namely contract employees with the position of Project Manager. This study uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process and Naïve Bayes methods to obtain variable weights. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that SOE (State Owned Enterprises) AKHLAK was a new variable. The classification of the assessment variables is divided into Performance and Behavioral aspects based on the Minister of SOE Regulation. Changes that occur include formulas, mechanisms, and rating scales. The results of the verification and validation show that the model is in accordance with the design so that it can be implemented. Model trials with 360 DF show that PM's final score has a good chance of being assessed as a full-time employee. This valuation model can change along with company policies in responding to internal and external changes.

Abstract

The Open Field Layout Problem (OFLP) is a free-configuration layout problem characterized by the absence of floor constraints and an unlimited number of potential solutions. This systematic literature review analyzed over 3,000 Scopus-indexed articles using the keyword "facility layout problem" and related terms, identifying 154 studies that applied hybrid approaches. Terms such as two-stage, multi-stage, or similar variations were classified accordingly. The review revealed that OFLP is not a monolithic concept but comprises five principal types: (1) layouts without aisles or floor boundaries, (2) tightly packed layouts with minimal spacing, (3) layouts with aisles and large residual space, (4) layouts with aisles and floor boundaries, and (5) layouts with aisles but no floor boundaries. The first type is most commonly addressed, while the fifth remains underexplored. This classification highlights a critical research gap and points to opportunities for advancing from low- to high-level hybrid strategies

Abstract

Indonesia prioritizes vocational education to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision by producing competent, work ready graduates. Despite strategic policies, vocational enrollment remains low relative to academic pathways, and sustainability focused assessment model for vocational higher education are scarce. Therefore, this study aims to map and critically analyze existing sustainability assessment model for vocational higher education using a PRISMA based Systematic Literature Review and bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer. A total of 8,035 records (2018–2024) were retrieved, and the 20 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed for thematic coverage, methodological approach, and integration of sustainability dimensions. The results showed that although many assessment model integrate economic, social, and environmental dimensions partially, few comprehensively addressed work readiness, sustainability literacy, and socio environmental impacts in vocational contexts. Bibliometric mapping further shows a dominance of general higher education studies and an underrepresentation of vocational-specific investigation. This study proposed a contextualized conceptual framework consistent with the Triple Bottom Line (economic, social, environmental) and selected SDG targets characterized by vocational competencies and institutional assessment practices. The framework offers guidance for policymakers and vocational institutions to design assessment systems that improve graduate relevance and institutional sustainability. The study contributes a systematic scientific map and a foundation for empirical testing of the proposed model.
