Abstract

The teacher has a very strategic role in efforts to achieve national developmentgoals, particularly in education field, so it is necessary to develop asprofessionals who’s dignified and professional. Recognizing these conditions, thegovernment made efforts to develop competency standards. Under theseconditions, the researchers want to examine: (1) What condition of GeographyTeacher pedagogical competence in SMA Pati; (2) How does the professionalcompetence of geography teachers in SMA Pati. The population in this study wasa geography teacher at SMA Pati. Methods of data collection weredocumentation, observation, and interviews. Variables research is pedagogicalcompetence and professional competence for geography teachers in SMA Pati.The data obtained were processed using descriptive methods and statisticalanalysis with the percentage of Mann-Whitney test. The results of this studyindicate that geography teachers have pedagogical competence of 68.8%included in both criteria. But there was an indicator that included in the criteriawas not good, i.e. the evaluation tool accuracy. This is due to the lack ofteacher’s competences in providing feedback and assessment during the learningprocess. While on the professional competence of geography teachers are ownedby 70.5% included in both criteria.

Abstract

This research purposes are: 1. To describe environment awareness behaviors of Kandri Tourismvillage rural community. 2. To analyze rural community’s roles on Kandri tourism villagemanagement. Environment awareness behaviors and rural community’s roles on Kandri tourismvillage management calculated using Descriptive Percentage (DP) analysis method. There are 6variables to measure environment awareness behaviors which are water management, energymanagement, transportation utilization, waste management, environment awareness and naturaldisaster management. This research result are good water management, excellent environmentawareness and less good transportation utilization, good waste management, excellent environmentawareness and less good natural disaster mitigation. Community’s varied behavior caused by lowlevel of education, the people are still traditionally reasoning in some fields such waste management,people’s minimum knowledge about their dwelling potencies of natural disaster. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1). Mendiskripsikan perilaku peduli lingkungan masyarakat DesaWisata Kandri; 2). Menganalisis peran serta masyarakat dalam mengelola lingkunganDesa Wisata Kandri. Perilaku peduli lingkungan dan peran serta masyarakat dalammengelola Desa Wisata Kandri dihitung dengan menggunakan metode analisisDeskriptif Persentase (DP). Terdapat 6 variabel untuk mengukur perilaku pedulilingkungan masyarakat, yaitu pengelolaan air, pengelolaan energi, penggunaantransportasi, pengelolaan sampah, peduli lingkungan sekitar dan mitigasi bencana alam.Penelitian ini menghasilkan pengelolaan air yang baik, pengelolaan energi sangat baik,penggunaan transportasi kurang baik, pengelolaan sampah yang baik, peduli lingkungansekitar sangat baik dan mitigasi bencana kurang baik. Perilaku masyarakat yang berbedabedahal ini dikarenakan tingkat pendidikan yang masih rendah, pemikiran masyarakatyang masih tradisional seperti dalam pengelolaan sampah, kurangnya pengetahuanmasyarakat mengenai potensi bencana alam yang ada di lingkungan tempat tinggal dankurannya motivasi masyarakat dalam mengikuti sosialisasi.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are limited, the lack of jobs in Lebo Village causes residents to mobility to other areas. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause residents to do mobility. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this study were all households in Lebo Village, which amounted to 1209 households. The sampling method uses Proposiate Area Random Sampling of 10% of the population and produced 120 households. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive percentage (DP). The variables of this study are the driving and pulling factors that cause the population to do mobility.The results of this study indicate factors from Desa Lebo such as the lack of facilities and infrastructure, employment, low employment wages which caused residents to do mobility to other regions. Attractive factors from other areas such as more complete facilities and infrastructure, many jobs, higher wages, entertainment and tourism facilities available. Fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang terbatas, kurangnya lapangan pekerjaan di Desa Lebo menyebabkan penduduk mobilitas ke daerah lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan penduduk melakukan mobilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini semua KK di Desa Lebo yang berjumlah 1209 KK. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan Propotionate Area Random Sampling sebesar 10% dari populasi dan dihasilkan 120 KK. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif presentase (DP). Variabel penelitian ini yaitu faktor pendorong dan penarik yang menyebabkan penduduk melakukan mobilitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor dari Desa Lebo seperti kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, lapangan pekerjaan, upah pekerjaan rendah yang menyebabkan penduduk melakukan mobilitas ke daerah lain. Faktor penarik dari daerah lain seperti sarana dan prasarana lebih lengkap, lapangan pekerjaan banyak, upah pekerjaan lebih tinggi,tersedia tempat hiburan dan wisata.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the implementation of the Sekolah Sungai Boyolali program as an effort to reduce disaster risk, obstacles in the implementation of the Sekolah Sungai Boyolali, knowledge and society awareness about disaster risk reduction. Data collection used test instruments, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive methods to analyze the implementation and obstacles in the Sekolah Sungai Boyolali, descriptive statistical methods to analyze society knowledge and awareness to flood disaster risk reduction. The results of this study indicate that after the implementation of the Sekolah Sungai Boyolali is known society knowledge about flood disaster risk reduction is an average of 74 in the high category. Society awareness about disaster risk reduction is an average of 70,6 in high category. Obstacles in implementation of Sekolah Sungai Boyolali: time of implementation, facilities dan infrastructure in the implementation of socialization and river depuration, final evaluation. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui tentang implementasi program Sekolah Sungai Boyolali sebagai upaya pengurangan risiko bencana, hambatan dalam implementasi Sekolah Sungai Boyolali, pengetahuan dan kepedulian masyarakat tentang pengurangan risiko bencana. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis tentang implementasi dan hambatan dalam Sekolah Sungai Boyolali, metode statistik deskriptif untuk menganalisi pengetahuan dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap pengurangan risiko bencana banjir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan setelah implementasi Sekolah Sungai Boyolaili diketahui pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pengurangan risiko bencana banjir memiliki rata-rata 74 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Kepedulian masyarakat tentang pengurangan risiko bencana banjir memiliki 70,6 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Hambatan yang menjadi kendala implementasi Sekolah Sungai Boyolali : waktu pelaksanaan, sarana dan prasarana dalam pelakasanaan sosialisasi dan bersih sungai, evaluasi akhir.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know the degree of vulnerability of the province road damage in Grobogan Regency and to know the factor wich the most influential about vulnerability of the province road damage in Grobogan Regency. All of the province road in the area of Grobogan Regency in this research aggregate 11 roads The data collection technique used observation and documentation. The analysis data technique used SIG analysis. The result of research show from the length totally  156,23 Km, the road included in the degree vulnerability of damage to low road were 18,9 Km, middle degree 136,83 Km, and high degree 0,5 Km. The factor wich most influential toward vulnerability was traffic volume amount 30%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effectiveness of role playing based entrepreneurial pedagogy approach on the values of entrepreneurship. The research method applied in this research was quantitative method of quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design model. Supported by observations conducted during the learning process by using role playing entrepreneurial pedagogy approach. Samples of this research were students of grade V of SDN Pelemkerep 1 and SDN Pelemkerep 2 in Jepara City. They were then divided into two groups of experimental design. SDN Pelemkerep 1 was taken as the experimental group using a role playing based on entrepreneurship pedagogy approach and SDN Pelemkerep 2 was taken as the control group using the expository method. The total number of sampel taken were 80 students. The technique of collecting data was done by using questionnaires and observation using indicators of creative, cooperative and independent. The results of the research showed that role playing based entrepreneurial pedagogy approach is effective in fostering the entrepreneurial values. It is indicated by the test results of independent sample t-test with (Sig. 0.000) smaller than 0.005. To support the data of questionnaire, the score acquire from the observation data showed a significant improvement with an excellent category for the experimental class in the 1st meeting at 38.95, 2nd meeting at 63.59, 3rd at 93.85. Role playing based entrepreneurial pedagogy approach can be using by teachers to inculcate entrepreneurial values implicitly in the learning process in the classroom in order to create fun and effective learning.

Abstract

This study has the purpose of testing the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the problem-solving ability of two-dimensional figures. This study applied experimental research with a pre-test – post-test control design model. The population of this study was all of the fourth-grade students of SDN in Batangpretepurposive sampling. The sample of this study was the fourth-grade students of SDN Karangtengah 01 and the fourth-grade students of SDN Kemiri 06. The instrument of data collection used was an essay test. The analysis technique used for analyzing the data was a statistical test of paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicated that the PBL model has effectively improved the students' problem-solving abilities. This is indicated by (1) The classical completeness of problem solving abilities of students in the experimental class using PBL models which reached up to 75%, (2) The average of problem-solving abilities of students in the experimental class with PBL models was more than the average of problem-solving ability of students in the control class using the expository learning models, sig α = 5%, with sig. (2-tailed) of 0.018 since 0.018 < 0.05. therefore, the result is significant, (3) the results of the increase in problem solving ability of the experimental class students using PBL models was indicated by the result of pre-test with the percentage of learning completeness of 51%. whereas, the rest of 49% students did not complete the achievement, then the result of post-test with the result of learning completeness at 80% and the rest of 20% students did not complete, sig α = 5%, with sig. (2-tailed) obtained a score of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PBL model is effective on problem-solving abilities of students in the fourth-grade elementary school at two dimension figures material.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted by pocket book to reading literacy skill. This quasi experimental research had quantitative method. The population of this research consisted of IV grade of Karangayu 02 in academic 2018/2019. It consisted of 60 studeents grouped into two classes: IV A and IV B. The sampling technique was nonprobabilty sampling with saturated sampling. The data was obtained from pretest – posttest. The data analysis consisted of normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and N – gain test. The findings showed that reading mathematics literacy skill of experimental group classically reached 93.1% with average 84.13. Meanwhile, the control group classically reached 73.3% with average score 76.6. The t-test result showed that Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted by pocket book was effective to reading literacy skill of primary school students. It could be concluded that Problem Based Learning assisted by pocket book was effective to improve reading literacy skill of students. It is suggested to develop further investigation.

Abstract

Current education does not always deal with remembering and memorizing but it should be creative and innovative. This research aimed to compare the effectiveness between Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Guided Inquiry (GI) in improving learning achievement and entrepreneurship of fifth graders at primary school. This quantitative research used quasi experimental design. The experimental group was intervened by Project Based Learning while the control group by Guided Inquiry. The population of this research consisted of Gatot Subroto primary school cluster, Blora Municipal. The sample consisted of SDN 1 Kalen and SDN 2 Nglandeyan. From both schools, all fifth graders were taken by using saturated sampling. The techniques of collecting idea were test, questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. The hypothesis test used N-Gain and Independent Sample Test analysis. The findings showed that there were differences by using PjBL and GI in improving learning achievement with score of tvalue = 0.980 with sig score 0.000. In improving entrepreneurship, the tvalue = 0.397 with sig score 0.000. Thus, it could be concluded that Project Based Learning was more effective to improve learning achievement and entrepreneurship of the students than Guided Inquiry. It is suggested for the educators to be more creative in using appropriate learning model to the characteristics of the students and school should facilitate teacher to be more innovative.

Abstract

The current issue for the Indonesian nation is the decline of the nation's character. This declining can be seen from the phenomena that occur in society such as students cheating during exams, some students do not report to the teachers when they found others' belonging, and during the scouting activities, some students cannot express their opinion in a discussion. Those facts indicate that Indonesian is still lack of integrity. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of scout extracurricular activities on integrity. The ex post facto method was used with a data analysis technique using simple linear regression. The students at the elementary school level, the scout extracurricular coaches, the teachers, and the students' parents were the samples of this study. To obtain the data, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation were used. In order to make sure that the research data are valid, a questionnaire instrument test was carried out consisting of validity and reliability tests. The normality test and the linearity test were done first before testing the hypothesis. The results of this study revealed that scout extracurricular influences students' integrity. Hopefully, this research can be used as a basis for developing scout activities as a compulsory extracurricular in the 2013 curriculum.
