Abstract

Research aims: This research aims to analyze the impact of the flexible working arrangement (FWA) system in reducing traffic jams, reducing work stress, and increasing work productivity.Design/Methodology/Approach: This research uses a sample collection technique with purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to 100 government and company employees and interviewing 5 informants from government employees. Data analysis uses SEM (structural equation model) with the AMOS analysis tool.Research findings: Flexible working arrangements (FWA) have an important role in reducing traffic jams, which can increase a person's work stress. Reducing traffic congestion has a positive impact on workers and decreases work stress. Despite flexible working arrangements (FWA), work congestion and stress do not influence work productivity.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This research contributes to the science of human resource management and urban management related to HR work activities.Practitioners/Policy Implications: The results of this research become a source and basis for guidance in structuring work patterns to be more efficient and effective, i.e., working flexibly can reduce the level of traffic congestion.Research Limitations/Implications: The limitation to this research includes the very limited number of respondents and informants who cannot be met directly so the question-and-answer process is less in-depth. Moreover, the indicators for each variable are still lacking, while the references are still weak.

Abstract

Persaingan yang semakin ketat dalam industri perbankan menuntut Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di BPR di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, dengan motivasi lingkungan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan verifikatif, melibatkan 286 pegawai dari lima BPR yang dipilih secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert 5 poin yang mengukur kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, motivasi lingkungan kerja, dan kinerja pegawai. Analisis jalur (path analysis) digunakan untuk mengukur pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung antara variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi lingkungan kerja (β = 0,778; p < 0,001) dan kinerja pegawai (β = 0,315; p < 0,001). Kepemimpinan tidak menunjukkan pengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (β = 0,008; p > 0,05), namun memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung melalui motivasi lingkungan kerja (pengaruh total = 0,041). Motivasi lingkungan kerja juga terbukti berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara budaya organisasi dan kinerja pegawai (β = 0,650; p < 0,001). Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 86,5% menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel ini bersama-sama menjelaskan sebagian besar variasi dalam kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajer BPR untuk mengoptimalkan budaya organisasi dan meningkatkan motivasi lingkungan kerja guna memaksimalkan kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Digital technology is transforming higher education institutions into entrepreneurial universities, which, in turn, supports economic development and knowledge generation. The integration of education technology enhances access, equity, inclusion, and the quality of learning experiences. This research aims to uncover how educational technology promotes digital transformation in Indonesia's higher education, fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, and contributes to social and economic growth. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, with the data collected using purposive sampling. The questionnaire was designed to represent the indicators set in the variables, and the results were analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method. This study analyzes 45 universities aiming to become entrepreneurial institutions, with 155 respondents filling out the questionnaire. The integration of educational technology and digital transformation in higher education has significant implications, affecting teaching methods, administrative efficiency, and the educational environment. The entrepreneurial university model emphasizes collaboration and responsiveness to market needs, preparing graduates for a competitive job market. This shift requires a reassessment of traditional teaching methods and a shift in mission. The successful integration requires strategic planning, transformational leadership, investment in digital infrastructure, and fostering a culture of innovation.

Abstract

Human resource management in Indonesian industries plays a critical role in enhancing employee com-petencies amid technological, economic, and global labor market developments. However, there is a gap between employee competencies and organizational demands, reflected in Indonesia's 87th ranking in the Human Capital Index (HCI). This study aims to analyze the influence of talent and technology systems on employee competency, with personality as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), data were collected from 196 respond-ents out of a population of 385 employees at Putra Kelana Makmur Group. The results indicate that talent does not directly influence employee competency but has an indirect effect through personality. In contrast, technology systems and personality significantly impact competency enhancement. Personality is a significant mediator in the relationships between both talent and technology systems with com-petency. These findings highlight the importance of developing effective technology systems and a supportive work environment that fosters personality development. For companies, this study empha-sizes the need to consider personality and technology as key factors in creating a more holistic and adapt-ive human resource management strategy to improve employee competencies.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of organizational culture and leadership style in encouraging increased job satisfaction, both directly and through the mediation of work-life balance policy. Methodology/approach – This type of research is quantitative with the SEM-SmartPLS method. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 111 Tax Service Office employees in Malang City (North Malang Tax Office and South Malang Tax Office). The sample was determined following the Slovin formula. Findings – Empirical evidence shows that both organizational culture and leadership style are able to encourage increased job satisfaction, both directly and through the mediation of work-life balance policy, which can act as strong mediation. Novelty/value – The results obtained show that the work-life balance policy does have meaning for government institutions such as the Tax Service Office in Malang City. How could it not, the work-life balance policy is able to mediate the influence of organizational culture and leadership style on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Research aims: This study aims to promote employee sustainable performance in the local government sector to support the achievement of organizational sustainability goals by examining the role of three important variables, namely civil servant professionalism, merit system, and value co-creation.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research was conducted on civil servants in the Bukittinggi City Local Government with a total of 230 respondents. The research used a quantitative approach with a survey method and analyzed the data using structural equation modeling PLS.Research findings: The results show that civil servant professionalism and value co-creation each had a significant positive effect on employee sustainable performance. Meanwhile, merit system had no effect on employee sustainable performance. Moreover, civil servant professionalism and merit systems each had a significant positive effect on value co-creation. Civil servant professionalism and merit system each had a significant positive effect on employee sustainable performance through value co-creation. This study demonstrates that value co-creation serves as a mediator, enhancing the impact of civil servant professionalism and merit system on employee sustainable performance.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: These traits show how HRM practices play a strategic role in attaining long-term corporate success.Practitioners/Policy Implications: The findings provide strategic recommendations for local government agencies to enhance civil servant professionalism and the merit system, initiating discourse on the efficacy of the merit system in local government, while also optimizing value co-creation as a collaborative method to improve employee sustainable performance. Consequently, this will ultimately facilitate the attainment of sustainable organizational success.Research Limitations/Implications: This research has limitations, specifically that it was conducted just on a single local government entity.

Abstract

Indonesia's economy is currently experiencing very good progress which is influenced by many factors, one of which is the contribution of the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs have a considerable contribution, especially in creating jobs nationally. Although the number and contribution are quite large, there are still many MSMEs that have problems in terms of Human, Accounting, Managerial and Financial data sources. Currently, many are experiencing difficulties in terms of accounting, especially in terms of calculating overhead cost rates which will later affect the cost of production. The problem of calculating overhead costs which will later be related to the cost of production is one of the problems faced by the Regional National Handicraft Council Community (Dekrasnada) in Pamulang District, South Tangerang City, Banten Province. The importance of the overhead cost tariff calculation process encourages the implementation of community service activities in the form of Training on Overhead Cost Tariff Calculation in Craft Fashion Production in the South Tangerang Dekrasnada Community to Avoid Overbudgeting in the Production of Merchandise to provide insight and knowledge related to the calculation of overhead tariffs in production so that overbudgeting in production can be minimized.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh struktur profitabilitas mempengaruhi Harga Saham. Penelitian inin menggunakan jenis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis adalah analisis regresi linear berganda, koefisien korelasi, koefisien determinasi, serta uji t dan uji F. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa korelasi atau hubungan antara variabel Return on Equity dan Net Profit Margin menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat. Hal ini berarti 55% variabel dependen (harga saham) dapat dijelaskan atau dipengaruhi oleh variabel independen (ROE dan NPM) sedangkan sisanya 0,45 atau 45% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti atau sebab-sebab yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Return on Equity tidak berpengaruh terhadap Harga Saham pada Bank Umum, (2) Net Profit Margin berpengaruh terhadap Harga Saham pada Bank Umum, (3) Return on Equity dan Net Profit Margin secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap Harga Saham pada Bank Umum Kata Kunci: Return on Equity, Net Profit Margin, dan Harga Saham

Abstract

This research aims to produce a formulating regarding Efforts To Overcome The Shortage Of Human Resources for The Effectiveness of Organizational Performance In The Riau Islands Animal, Fish, And Plants Quarantine Office. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis approach of case studies. The results of the research show that there is an impact of a shortage of human resources but it does not effectively have an influence on the organizational performance of The Riau Islands Animal, Fish, And Plants Quarantine Office. The impacts that occur affect employee personnel, such as increased workload, longer working hours, multiple positions for certain personnel and high stress levels for employees who hold multiple positions. From the research results, it is concluded that the role of leaders in evaluating and monitoring is the key to success in maintaining organizational performance effectiveness. Apart from that, the use of technology or digitalization of services must be increased so that the problem of shortage of human resources can be resolved.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education plays a role in supporting the green economy by developing students who are innovative, independent, and socially responsible. These traits are essential for fostering sustainable business practices, innovation drives the creation of environmentally friendly solutions, independence drives proactive action in addressing environmental challenges, and social responsibility ensures appropriate decision-making with long term ecological impacts. This study examines the effect of a project-based learning model that integrates entrepreneurship and environmental desires on students' entrepreneurial character. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 400 high school students in East Java and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using AMOS. The findings indicate that education significantly increases awareness of green economy principles and supports students' entrepreneurship. However, although entrepreneurial character is positively associated with students' entrepreneurship, the relationship is not statistically significant. Similarly, the green economy contributes to character development, although its direct impact on entrepreneurship is also insignificant. These results highlight the importance of instilling green economy principles in entrepreneurship education as a foundation for building a generation of entrepreneurs committed to innovation, independence, and environmental responsibility.
