Abstract

The primary performance metric used by investors to evaluate the efficiency of capital investments is stock return. After the mining industry, the agricultural sector's stock price index volatility from 2015 to 2021 produced the second-lowest annualized return. Businesses can generate corporate value that is closely tied to stock returns by utilizing value creation-based performance analysis (EVA, MVA, Q-Tobin). Furthermore, stock returns may also be impacted by outside variables. The objectives of this study are to: (1) examine the financial performance of agricultural companies using Q-Tobin, MVA, and EVA; (2) examine the relationship between Q-Tobin, MVA, and EVA and macroeconomic factors (exchange rates and inflation) on stock returns in the agricultural sector; and (3) draw managerial conclusions from the analysis's findings. Eight companies in the agricultural sector that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange prior to 2015 provided the data. In order to ascertain the impact of macroeconomic variables, EVA, MVA, Q-Tobi, and panel data on stock returns, this study used descriptive analysis to evaluate the EVA, MVA, and Q-Tobi of each firm. The majority of the enterprises had negative EVAs, according to the results. However, the MVA study reveals that most businesses achieve positive MVA. The majority of the companies produce a value of q<1, according to the Q-Tobin data. Only the MVARET and Q-Tobin RET variables significantly improve stock returns, according to the REM analysis. Exchange rates, inflation, EVARET, and fictitious crises don't significantly affect stock returns.

Abstract

This comprehensive study delves into the intricate dynamics of global supply chain management, aiming to uncover prevailing trends, challenges, and strategies embraced by organizations. Through meticulous examination of qualitative and quantitative data, the research builds upon previous works by Christopher (2016), Ferdows et al. (2017), and Pagell and Shevchenko (2014), emphasizing the impact of market fluctuations, technological innovations, and sustainability principles. The study reveals the accelerating adoption of technologies like blockchain, IoT, and AI, reshaping traditional supply chain processes and driving operational efficiency. Despite technological advancements, organizations face challenges including market volatility, supplier reliability, logistical complexities, and sustainability imperatives. To address these challenges, collaborative approaches and sustainability integration emerge as crucial strategies, echoing findings from Mentzer et al. (2018) and Gold et al. (2010). The implications highlight the necessity for organizations to adapt to technological advancements, foster collaboration, and integrate sustainability into supply chain strategies to navigate complexities and foster resilience in the global market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the synergy between customary law and Islamic law in the mechanism for resolving customary land disputes in Pampang Customary Village, North Samarinda. The problem of customary land in this region is not only related to the aspect of ownership, but also touches the social, spiritual, and cultural dimensions of the Dayak Kenyah community. The research approach uses qualitative methods with a combination of normative and empirical approaches, through the analysis of legal documents, interviews with traditional leaders, and observation of customary mediation practices. The results of the study show that dispute resolution in Pampang Village is carried out through a consensus deliberation mechanism led by the Customary Head, with an emphasis on the value of justice, social balance, and community peace. This mechanism has a substantive conformity with  the principle of ṣulḥ (peace) in Islamic law, which emphasizes peaceful, participatory, and equitable resolution of disputes. The research discussion emphasized that the integration between customary law and Islamic law can strengthen social legitimacy, increase legal certainty, and present a more contextual dispute resolution model for customary law communities. These findings have implications for the need for state recognition of customary decisions as part of a pluralistic and equitable national legal system.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and explain the dynamics of complementarity politics and administration in the relationship between democracy and bureaucracy in the road infrastructure governance process in Wonosobo Regency. This phenomenon is interesting to study because it involves political actors in the Regional Legislative Council (DPRD), as well as administrative actors from the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) and the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (Dinas PUPR) in Wonosobo Regency, all engaged in a complementary relationship regarding road infrastructure issues, an issue that has garnered significant attention from the community. The complementarity framework used in this study refers to the framework proposed by Svara (2001), which is based on three principles: interdependency, reciprocal influence, and extensive interaction. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results indicate that efforts are being made to preserve democracy while avoiding subordination by Bappeda and the PUPR agency to DPRD control; there is an integral relationship between the DPRD, Bappeda, and the PUPR agency in maintaining public preferences regarding road infrastructure; parliamentary involvement in the inclusiveness of the administrative process; and other factors in the planning process for road infrastructure development in Wonosobo Regency.

Abstract

This community service program aims to promote a sustainable environment and empower the local economy through the planting of Ketapang Kencana trees in Jenetallasa Village, Gowa. The program was implemented in August 2025 over a period of two weeks, engaging the community in all stages, including land survey, seedling preparation, tree planting, maintenance, and utilization of tree-derived products. Technical training was provided to enhance the community’s skills in seedling propagation, planting, tree care, and processing leaves and seeds into economic products. Results showed optimal tree growth, high community participation, and significant improvement in local residents’ skills. Utilization of tree-derived products opened local economic opportunities through compost, handicrafts, tree seedlings, and agro-tourism education. The program fostered a sense of ownership among the community toward their environment, encouraging sustainable reforestation. These findings demonstrate that integrating sustainable reforestation and local economic empowerment can be effectively implemented with proper technical training, active community engagement, and systematic management of tree-derived products, and the model has potential to be replicated in other villages.

Abstract

The transformation of destination management in Kampung Orchid Kemuning is grounded in the need to create synergy between digital marketing, community governance, and conservation education so that social, economic, and ecological sustainability can be achieved simultaneously. This study aimed to analyze effective digital communication strategies in the management of community-based ecotourism, particularly in relation to strengthening digital literacy, improving content quality, developing organizational structures, designing tourism products, and examining their impact on conservation and local economic empowerment. A mixed-methods approach was employed by combining field observation, pretest and posttest of digital literacy, in-depth interviews with managers and residents, and documentation analysis of training activities. The findings show a significant increase in understanding of digital marketing concepts, improved ability to produce visual content, and greater consistency in managing the destination’s social media. The development of five thematic tour packages resulted in tourism products that are more marketable and relevant for diverse visitor segments, while simultaneously strengthening organizational structures, enhancing service responsiveness, and fostering a culture of continuous capacity building at the community level. In addition, the study identified positive socio-economic impacts, including increased community participation in the tourism value chain and higher self-efficacy in digital content production that supports conservation efforts and local empowerment. These findings confirm that integrating digital communication with tourism product management is an effective strategy for strengthening the sustainability of community-based ecotourism.
