Abstract

Learning discipline is a crucial element in achieving optimal educational outcomes. However, the reality at SDN 4 Bonepantai shows low discipline among fifth-grade students in Civics (PKn) due to the dominance of monotonous learning methods. This study focuses on efforts to improve student learning discipline through the implementation of the Time Token Cooperative Learning model, designed to train speech management and responsibility. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, this study involved 15 students and was conducted in two cycles encompassing planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of quantitative data analysis showed significant, gradual improvement; in the first meeting of cycle I, the student discipline level reached only 27% (4 students) and increased to 40% (6 students) in the second meeting. The positive trend continued in cycle II, where the first meeting recorded a figure of 67% (10 students) and achieved the success target in the second meeting, with 80% (12 students) meeting the discipline indicators. The main conclusion of this study confirms that the implementation of the Time Token model has proven effective in building learning discipline, regulating active participation, and increasing student compliance with rules in Civics learning. ABSTRAK Disiplin belajar merupakan elemen krusial dalam pencapaian hasil pendidikan yang optimal, namun realitas di SDN 4 Bonepantai menunjukkan rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran yang monoton. Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya peningkatan disiplin belajar siswa melalui implementasi model Cooperative Learning tipe Time Token yang dirancang untuk melatih manajemen bicara dan tanggung jawab. Menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), studi ini melibatkan 15 siswa dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang mencakup perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan secara bertahap; pada siklus I pertemuan pertama, tingkat kedisiplinan siswa hanya mencapai 27% (4 siswa) dan meningkat menjadi 40% (6 siswa) pada pertemuan kedua. Tren positif berlanjut pada siklus II, di mana pertemuan pertama mencatat angka 67% (10 siswa) dan mencapai target keberhasilan pada pertemuan kedua dengan 80% (12 siswa) siswa telah memenuhi indikator kedisiplinan. Simpulan utama penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan model Time Token terbukti efektif dalam membangun kedisiplinan belajar, mengatur partisipasi aktif, serta meningkatkan kepatuhan siswa terhadap aturan dalam pembelajaran PKn.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk “ meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa dengan melalui media Big Book di kelas III di SDN 16 Dungingi.”  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, tes membaca dan dokumentasi dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas III di SDN 16 Dungingi Kota Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada observasi awal bahwa dari 30 siswa yang mampu membaca hanya 13 siswa atau 43% dan tidak mampu 17 siswa atau 57%. Pada siklus I pertemuan pertama berjumlah 9 siswa atau 45% yang mampu membaca dan ada 11 orang siswa atau 55%  yang belum mampu membaca. Pada siklus I pertemuan kedua siswa yang mampu membaca berjumlah 15 atau 65% dan 8 atau 35% terdapat siswa yang belum mampu membaca. Pada siklus II pertemuan kepertamana mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan yaitu siswa yang mampu berjumlah 16 siswa dengan presentase 76% dan terdapat 5 siswa dengan presentase 24% yang belum mampu membaca. Pada siklus II pertemuan kedua berjumlah 19 siswa atau 95% mampu membaca dan terdapat 1 siswa atau 5%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui Media Big Book dapat meningkat kemampaun membaca siswa teks bacaan di kelas III SDN 16 Dungingi Kota Gorontalo

Abstract

The integration of technology in education not only trains learners to think critically and analyze information in depth, but also encourages them to become innovators and problem solvers. Local government and education stakeholders in Banggai district continue to improve teachers competencies in integrating technology in learning through various training programs. This research was conducted in education units in Banggai Regency. In this study, researchers used a type of quantitative research with a survey method. The sampling technique in this study will use cluster sampling technique. The sampling technique resulted in 690 respondents. This study uses the Rasch Model. From the results of the study, it was found that the competence of teachers in integrating technology in the learning process in Banggai Regency in terms of 8 sections obtained an average value from the highest to the lowest consecutively starting from Challenges in Technology Use of 1.57, Technical Skills of 0.43, Technological Knowledge of -0.04, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge of -0.06, Professional Development and Collaboration -0.08, Pedagogical Knowledge of -0.08, Content Knowledge of -0.32, and Effectiveness of Technology Use of -0.71. This indicates that teachers in Banggai district have a fairly high competency to integrate technology in learning

Abstract

Community service activities constitute one of the core mandates (Tri Dharma) of higher education and may be regarded as a key responsibility of institutions, lecturers, and students. A home yard is an open space surrounding a residence. When properly maintained, it can create an attractive, comfortable, healthy, and pleasant environment that enhances residents’ well-being at home. This community service program aimed to optimize the utilization of home yards through a vertical cultivation (verticulture) system using plastic waste, in order to generate additional household income and improve aesthetic value. In addition, the program promoted the reuse and recycling of plastic waste as planting media. The methods employed included field observation, communication of the activity plan, collection of plastic waste, program socialization, counseling, training and group sharing sessions, and finally monitoring. The socialization results demonstrated that used cooking oil packaging could be repurposed into planting containers and beverage bottles could be utilized as verticulture planting media. The main crop emphasized in this program was chili, which is commonly needed in every household. Other crops suitable for verticulture include annual, high-moisture herbaceous plants such as spinach, water spinach (kangkung), and lettuce, as well as tomatoes and other plant species. The implementation of this program motivated community groups to manage household waste into compost and enhanced their knowledge and skills in vegetable and medicinal plant cultivation techniques. As a result, the surrounding environment became cleaner and greener, and community members were able to meet their needs for vegetables and medicinal plants around their homes.

Abstract

This study addresses the research question: "Can audiovisual media enhance the Mokarawo creative dance skills of Class IV students at SDN 1 Batudaa, Gorontalo Regency?" The primary objective is to improve these students' dance abilities using audiovisual media. Employing Classroom Action Research (PTK) methodology, data were gathered through observation, tests, and documentation from 20 fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Batudaa, Gorontalo Regency. Results reveal steady progress. In Cycle I, Meeting 1, only 20% (4 students) met the dance competency criteria; by Meeting 2, this rose to 40% (8 students). In Cycle II, Meeting 1 achieved 70% (14 students), and Meeting 2 reached 85% (17 students). In conclusion, audiovisual media significantly boosts Mokarawo's creative dance skills among these students, demonstrating its effectiveness through iterative PTK cycles at SDN 1 Batudaa, Gorontalo Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Geoboard media in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the learning material of squares and rectangles. This study was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes caused by the limited variation of teaching methods and the lack of attractive learning media. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 19 fourth-grade students of SDN 03 Bulango Utara. The results of the study indicate that the use of Geoboard media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. In the initial observation, only 30% of students achieved learning mastery. After the implementation of the actions, learning mastery increased to 47.37% in Cycle I and reached 84.21% in Cycle II. In addition, there was an improvement in both teacher and student activities, which increased from the “fairly good” category to the “very good” category. The use of Geoboard media not only enhanced students’ understanding of square and rectangle concepts but also increased their motivation, active participation, and independent learning. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media Geoboard dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada materi persegi dan persegi panjang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa akibat kurang bervariasinya metode pembelajaran dan kurangnya media yang menarik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 19 siswa kelas IV SDN 03 Bulango Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Geoboard dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Pada observasi awal, hanya 30% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Setelah tindakan dilakukan, hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 47,37% pada siklus I dan mencapai 84,21%pada siklus II. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan pada aktivitas guru dan siswa yang sebelumnya berada pada kategori “cukup baik” menjadi “sangat baik”. Penggunaan media Geoboard tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep luas persegi dan persegi panjang, tetapi juga meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi aktif, dan kemandirian belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve fifth-grade students’ mathematics learning outcomes through the use of Genially as a digital learning medium at SDN 3 Bulango Utara. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in a cyclical and systematic manner, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 12 fifth-grade students, comprising 7 female students and 5 male students. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, observations of teacher and student activities, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ mathematics learning outcomes after the implementation of Genially-based learning media. In the pre-action stage, only 25% of students achieved the minimum mastery criterion (score ≥ 75). Following the implementation of the actions, learning mastery increased to 58.33% in Cycle I and further improved to 83.33% in Cycle II. In addition, students’ learning activities showed improvement from a fair category to a very good category. These findings demonstrate that the use of Genially as a learning medium is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN 3 Bulango Utara melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran Genially. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan secara bertahap, dengan setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 12 siswa, yaitu 7 siswa perempuan dan 5 siswa laki-laki. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah penerapan media Genially. Pada kondisi awal, hanya 25% siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM ≥ 75). Setelah pelaksanaan tindakan, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 58,33% pada siklus I dan mencapai 83,33% pada siklus II. Selain itu, aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan dari kategori cukup menjadi kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media pembelajaran Genially terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN 3 Bulango Utara.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is whether the role-playing method can improve students’ creativity in SBdP (Arts, Culture, and Crafts) learning in Grade III at SDN 2 Kabila Bone, Bone Bolango Regency. The purpose of this study is to improve students’ creativity through the application of the role-playing method in SBdP learning in Grade III at SDN 2 Kabila Bone, Bone Bolango Regency. This study employed classroom action research (CAR). Data collection techniques included tests, observation, and documentation. Based on observations conducted on January 20, 2024, during the pre-study phase at SDN 2 Kabila Bone, students’ creativity was found to be relatively low. This was evident during the learning process, as some students required considerable assistance from the teacher to complete activities, while others were unable to express their own ideas without guidance from the teacher, and still others were reluctant and shy when asked to come to the front of the class. The findings of Cycle I’s first meeting indicated that the predetermined assessment indicators had not yet been achieved, as overall student performance remained low: of the 22 students, only 4 (18%) met the criteria, while 18 (82%) did not. In Cycle I, the second meeting, students’ creativity, as measured by the role-playing method, increased, with 9 students (41%) meeting the criteria and 13 students (59%) not yet meeting the criteria. Furthermore, in Cycle II, the first meeting, there was a further improvement, with 13 students (59%) meeting the criteria and 9 students (41%) not meeting the criteria. Based on the findings of the actions in Cycle II, the second meeting, it can be concluded that students’ creativity, as measured through the use of the role-playing method in SBdP learning in Grade III at SDN 2 Kabila Bone, Bone Bolango Regency, improved and reached the targeted level. ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini, apakah metode bermain peran dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran SBDP di kelas III SDN 2 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan Kreativitas Siswa Menggunakan Metode Bermain Peran Pada Pemebelajaran SBdP Di Kelas III SDN 2 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diantaranya tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan pada tanggal 20 Januari 2024 saat pra penelitian di SDN 2 Kabila Bone, dimana daya kreativitas anak masih rendah. Hal ini dapat di lihat saat proses pembelajaran ada sebagian anak yang melakukan kegiatan harus banyak dibantu oleh guru, sebagian anak belum bisa mengungkapkan idenya sendiri kalau tidak dibantu oleh guru, dan sebagian anak masih malu-malu saat guru meminta untuk maju kedepan kelas. Dari hasil siklus I pertemuan pertama bahwa indikator penilaian yang telah direncanakan belum tercapai dilihat dari kemampuan siswa secara keseluruhan masih kurang yakni dari 22 siswa yang mampu hanya 4 atau 18% siswa dan yang belum mampu 18 atau 82% siswa.Pada siklus I pertemuan kedua kreativitas siswa menggunakan metode bermain peran meningkat dari 22 siswa yang mampu 9 dan 41% siswa dan yang belum mampu 13 atau 59% siswa. Selanjutnya pada siklus II pertemuan pertama juga mengalami peningkatan dari 22 siswa yang mampu 13 atau 59% siswa dan yang belum mampu sebanyak 9 atau 41% siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tindakan pada siklus II pertemuan kedua maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kreativitas siswa dengan menggunakan metode bermain peran pada pembelajaran SBDP di kelas III SDN 2 Kabila Bone Kabupaten Bone Bolango telah meningkat atau mencapai tareget.
