Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Sistem KTI Online untuk pembimbingan penulisan karya ilmiah bagi guru-guru. Aspek yang diungkap antara lain: deskripsi teknik, strategi, aktivitas pembimbingan, hambatan dosen, dan tingkat efektivitas pembimbingan. Obyek yang diteliti adalah sistem pembimbingan KTI online yang telah dikembangkan oleh Dirprodik Dit PMPTK. Sampel sebanyak 12 dosen dan 500 guru diambil secara purposif. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas 3 macam, yaitu daftar cek (check list) untuk evaluasi sistem, angket untuk dosen pembimbing dan angket untuk guru peserta. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Website KTI Online telah dikembangkan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak LMS open source Moodle, (2) Strategi pembimbingan yang diterapkan adalah model terbuka melalui forum diskusi, (3) Aktivitas pembimbingan sangat rendah, yakni hanya 143 guru (24.2 %) yang telah berhasil login, (4) Hambatan utama antara lain akses internet sangat lambat dan ketidakaktifan guru dalam pembimbingan, (5) Tingkat efektivitas program pembimbingan ini sangat rendah.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to develop, to evaluate, and to investigate the effectiveness of error remediation CAI lesson. The CAI lesson was developed using error remediation strategies. An experimental study involving 30 students of electrical department at vocational college of FPTK IKIP Yogyakarta was conducted. Questionnaires, evaluation sheets, and achievement tests were used to gather data. The validity and reliability of the research instrument were establish. There were 75% to 94% of the students expressed that the CAI lesson concerning four aspects: subject matter, presentation, student interaction and program interaction were good. The achievement of the students using the error remediation CAI lesson was higher significantly (α=0.05) than those of the students using the regular SPR lesson. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran mahasiswa PGSD Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta pada mata kuliah IPA1 materi biologi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods. Data yang terkumpul berupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk data kuantitatif melalui pemberian angket terhadap 171 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta angkatan 2019, sementara data kualitatif didapatkan dari hasil wawancara dengan 2 dosen, 2 asisten dosen, dan 6 mahasiswa PGSD. Data kuantitatif dianalisis melalui analisis deskriptif dan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan model Bogdan dan Biklen. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa 50,3% mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan pada materi sistem peredaran darah pada manusia; 67,7% menganggap sulitnya materi karena banyak istilah ilmiah yang sulit dipahami; dan 73,1% mahasiswa menginginkan pengembangan multimedia interaktif. Dosen dan asisten dosen menyatakan bahwa dibutuhkan media yang sesuai dengan generasi Z, dapat digunakan di mana saja dan kapan saja, serta dapat digunakan untuk belajar mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlunya pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif pada materi sistem peredaran darah yang dapat digunakan pada perangkat android maupun personal komputer sebagai media alternatif di masa pandemi Covid-19. ROLE OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA FOR THE LEARNING OF BLOOD CIRCULATION SYSTEMThe purpose of this study was to analyze the learning media needs of PGSD students of PGRI Yogyakarta University in science biology materials during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a mixed methods approach. The data collected in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. The data collection technique for quantitative data was through the provision of questionnaires to 171 elementary School teacher education Students PGRI Yogyakarta class 2019, while qualitative data were obtained from interviews with 2 lecturers, 2 teaching assistants, and 6 PGSD students. Quantitative data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, and qualitative data were analyzed using models Bogdan and Biklen. The results of the need analysis showed that 50.3% of students had difficulty in circulatory system material in humans, and 67.7% considered the difficulty of the material due to many elusive scientific terms, and 73.1% of students wanted the development of interactive multimedia. Furthermore, lecturers and lecturer assistants stated that the media needed was in accordance with Z generation, could be used anywhere and anytime, and could be used for independent study. Based on the results of the needs analysis, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop interactive multimedia learning on circulatory system material that can be used on android devices and personal computers as alternative media during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teknologi alternatif dalam mengembangkan sistem layanan akses Internet bergerak (mobile internet). Sistem yang diteliti adalah Mobile   Internet Berbasis Telepon Seluler Multikoneksi (MIBTSM). MIBTSM menggunakan modem  GSM/CDMA, dengan mengimplementasikan penyeimbangan beban sehingga menghasilkan    Quality of Service (QoS) khususnya laju bit yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian berupa prototipe MIBTSM menggunakan Zeroshell dengan eksperimen konfigurasi dan implementasi penyeimbangan beban roundrobin atau failover. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa  sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik. Koneksi Internet menggunakan 2 modem telepon  seluler GSM dengan layanan Tsel Flash Corporate dimana laju bit masing-masing saat melakukan  unduhan adalah 500 Kbps s.d. 700 Kbps. Sistem multikoneksi dengan penyeimbangan   beban 2 modem tersebut menghasilkan laju bit saat melakukan unduhan sebesar 1 Mbps s.d. 1,5 Mbps. Kata  kunci:  mobile   internet, modem  GSM/CDMA, e-learning, penyeimbangan beban (load  balancing).

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement adaptive e-learning technology to address the diversity of student learning styles. This system is expected to overcome the problems of conventional e-learning that gives the same material to each user. This research uses the R D approach. The research procedure includes: (a) analysis, (b) design, (c) implementation, and (d) evaluation. Analysis of consistency and accuracy of the contents carried out on the data at the stage of analysis and design. Descriptive analysis is performed on all data that can be tabulated so that meaningful. The result of this research is adaptive e-learning model to the diversity of student learning style. In the development process is generated also documentation needs description, function description, main features, architecture, and use case diagrams. The e-learning model is implemented with LMS Moodle and the adaptive function is made in module form. Performance, the first system identifies the trend of learning styles through a questionnaire that is Visual, Auditory, or Kinesthetic. Furthermore scores are used by the system as the basis for giving different materials to the students.

Abstract

As a reflection of teachers’ awareness of the students’ learning styles, teachers are required to have a good understanding of how the learning materials will be delivered to them through the teaching method and media, which are appropriate for their preferences. However, the uniqueness of learners’ learning styles has not become an important consideration for most of teachers. This study was aimed at finding out, to what extent vocational high school teachers were aware of the students’ learning styles. The data were collected through a survey and analyzed with the descriptive quantitative analysis. The results revealed that most of the respondents with the percentage of 65.7% (n=67) do not know the term of learning styles. Most of the respondents with the percentage of 77.6% do not assess the students’ learning styles. Although most of the respondents do not assess the students’ learning styles, the aspects of assessing the learning styles, using the instructional media appropriate with the students’ learning styles, and care about the students’ preferences in learning were categorized as good with the percentage of 43.3%, 71.6%, and 56.7% respectively. The overall of the vocational high school teachers’ awareness level of the students’ learning styles is categorized as good with the percentage of 76.1%.

Abstract

The Synchronous online argumentation system is highly needed to facilitate learning activity in this internet era. To gain deeper insights about this important issue, this study developed nine principles based on Cognitive Load, User Interface, and User Experience to redesign a system. With this framework, 48 (forty-eight) students of Chi-Ying High School had tested with two prototypes, and the second prototype used the nine principles. The systems were measured with Web-Based Learning Environment (WEBLEI) and System Usability Test (SUS). The result of WEBLEI measurement shows that the second prototype gives better result and shows higher user acceptance than the first prototype. The result of SUS measurement shows that the usability of the second prototype is better than on the first prototype with (4.43) SUS score difference. The result shows that the use of nine principles that applied to the second prototype does increase the usability and acceptance of the students.

Abstract

This research aims to solve some common problems faced by learners, namely difficulties in understanding materials with abstract ideas and the lack of problem-solving skills. Mobile-based interactive learning multimedia as an innovation in educational setting is a self-learning media that the learners can use both in school and at home to help them understand the materials easily, minimize learning difficulties, and increase their problem-solving skills. This is a Research and Development (R&D) with the APPED model. The subjects of this research were the 10th grade students of the Vocational Program of Computer and Network Technology at SMK Negeri 1 Tulung Klaten (State Vocational School 1 of Tulung, Klaten). The data analysis technique was done through the descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the mobile-based interactive multimedia learning was feasible with the Very Good category. The mobile-learning-based interactive multimedia learning was effectively used with a percentage of 77.85% and the difference in significance, based on the Wilcoxon Test on the pretest posttest of 0.000 it indicates that there is a difference in the increase in problem-solving skills while learning using the mobile-based interactive multimedia learning.

Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah kepemilikan perangkatkomputer oleh berbagai pihak, maka kebutuhan akan tersedianya programpengajaran berbantuan komputer (CAI) pun semakin meningkat danperlu mendapat perhatian serius. Agar diperoleh efektifitas yang tinggi,maka pengemban program CAI perlu direncanakan dengan baik yaknidengan memperhatikan aspek-aspek: umpan balik , percabangan, penilaian,monitoring kemajuan, petunjuk, dan tampilan.Para pendidik yang kurang memahami bahasa pemograman dapatmengembangkan program CAI secara profesional dengan menggunakansistem authoring. Keuntungan sistem authoring dibanding dengan perangkatlunak lainnya adalah kemudahan dan kesederhanaannya. Sedangakankerugiannnya adalah dalan ha1 kecepatan eksekusi dan kebutuhanmemori. Namun demikian, dengan perkembangan perangkat keras saatini, kerugian ini menjadi tidak terasa.
