Abstract

The background of this research focuses on the culture of compassion, which includes feelings of affection, empathy and concern for others, especially in helping or alleviating their suffering. This culture includes genuine concern and action for the well-being of others without expecting anything in return. The purpose of this study is to understand and analyze the extent to which the culture of compassion is applied by Javanese adolescents in Yogyakarta. This study used a quantitative approach with quantitative descriptive research methodology, where the sample taken consisted of 150 students. The results showed that most Javanese adolescents in the Yogyakarta have a high level of compassion culture, with 57% showing a strong empathetic attitude. A total of 33% showed a moderate level of affection culture, and 10% showed a low level. The conclusion of this study is that most adolescents in this area still maintain high values regarding affection, although there are differences in the level of application of this culture which is influenced by family factors, education, and the influence of technology. The contribution of this study is to provide insight into the culture of affection among adolescents and the factors that influence its implementation.

Abstract

This study explores the role of multicultural values in strengthening students' nationalism at SMPN 1 Sleman. Through a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and documentation, the research found that multicultural values—encompassing diversity, tolerance, and cultural appreciation—are integrated into classroom learning, daily activities, and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). These efforts foster attitudes of tolerance, mutual respect, and cultural appreciation, enhancing students' understanding of national identity and unity. By embracing cultural diversity, students develop strong, inclusive personalities, preparing them to face global challenges while maintaining a sense of nationalism.

Abstract

Board games provide a safe and controlled simulation of reality, allowing individuals to explore roles and understand the consequences of their behavior. At the same time, the case of bullying, which is quite prevalent in the school environment, is another concern for teachers. The purpose of this research is to produce a board game that is feasible, practical, and effective in improving attitudes towards antibullying.This research was a type of research and development that used the model of Borg and Gall. The effectiveness of the product was tested using a t-test. The results of this study are: (1) products in the form of board game Palventure with components namely the game board, cards, dice, pawns, and tokens where the game mechanics are arranged in a manual; (2) board game Palventure declared very valid with a score of 92% from guidance and counseling service experts and 88% from media experts; and (3) board game PALVENTUREdeclared very practical by guidance and counseling teachers with a score of 83%, (4) board game Palventure is found to be effective in improving attitudes towards antibullying with a P-value of 0.002 (<0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the short film "Gerak Bersama" in preventing sexual harassment in high school students. This research is a type of research and development focused on a certain stage, namely focusing on the seventh to the last stage which refers to the Borg & Gall procedure. The subjects in this study were 122 high school students in Sleman Regency. This research produced three short films entitled "Speak Up!", "Enabler?", and "Relasi (Kuasa)" as well as a media guidebook which was examined for the effectiveness of its use in students in cultivating an anti-sexual harassment attitude. The data collection method uses an attitude scale toward sexual harassment. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics and an experimental design with T-test and N-Gain analysis. The effectiveness test using the T-test resulted in an average pretest value of 121.72 and a posttest average value of 152.96 and sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05 which indicates if there is an average difference between the pretest and posttest. The N-Gain test result is 0.653 which is included in the medium category and the N-Gain value in percentage is 65% which is included in the quite effective category. The short film "Gerak Bersama" was deemed appropriate and effective in preventing sexual harassment of high school students.

Abstract

Childhood trauma refers to the lasting impact of adverse experiences during early life that continue to shape behaviour, emotions, and social relationships in adulthood. This study aims to systematically review empirical evidence on how childhood trauma influences adult psychological patterns and identifies effective therapeutic approaches. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework, a comprehensive search was conducted across Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus. Inclusion criteria were intentionally stringent—focusing only on studies published within the last 15 years, written in English or Indonesian, and directly examining the effects of childhood trauma on adult life. From 967 identified records, only 7 met all inclusion criteria, reflecting the rigorous screening process and ensuring the high relevance and methodological quality of the final selection. The synthesis of findings reveals consistent patterns: adults with unresolved childhood trauma often exhibit low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties. However, therapeutic approaches emphasizing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and inner child healing demonstrate positive recovery outcomes. Overall, this review underscores that understanding the specific emotional and behavioural patterns rooted in childhood trauma, along with tailored therapeutic interventions, is essential to fostering long-term psychological well-being. Future studies are encouraged to deepen empirical exploration through longitudinal designs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how the inquiry-based nature of science (NOS) argumentation (IB-NOSA) instructional model affects scientific literacy skills. This research used a quasi-experimental method. The design of this research is a pretest-posttest control group design. This study describes the significance of the differences between participants who learn through IB-NOSA, guided inquiry, and discovery learning model. The subjects of this study were 288 students of grade VIII in the 2022/2023 academic year from three junior high schools in Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data analysis in this study used an analysis of variances (ANOVA) mixed design. The result showed that there was a difference between the pretest-posttest scores of scientific literacy skills in each group. There was a significant increase in the pretest-posttest scores of scientific literacy skills in each group. Effect size showed that the IB-NOSA in increased scientific literacy skills was 0.79; the guided inquiry was 0.76; and the discovery learning was 0.71. The IB-NOSA was the most effective in improving scientific literacy skills with a gain score of 0.49 (medium). So, it can be concluded that the IB-NOSA instructional model can be used as an alternative solution in improving scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Aging is an inevitable part of all individuals journeys. Many of these elderly people experience problems, especially elderly people who previously spent time working. In fact, there are many cases among the elderly who experience problems, especially for the elderly in the Purbalingga area, there are elderly people who fall ill due to economic problems and social changes that put pressure on the elderly after retirement, making them psychologically weakened. The aim of this research is to identify the mental health of the elderly after retirement. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The data analysis technique used is triangulation techniques carried out using interviews, observation and documentation using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research found that cases of mental health in the elderly after retirement felt pressure due to the absence of strong social relationships between family and retirees and co-workers. So the feeling of loneliness, not being recognized, and the readiness to live a life of economic problems, and the feeling of anxiety during retirement have not been prepared. This has an impact on weakening the welfare and meaning of life of the elderly after retirement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui penggunaan metode bermain peran pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri 58 Kota Bima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis dan McTaggart. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini diimplementasikan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 58 Kota Bima, pada semester I tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif dalam dua siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga tindakan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, implementasi dan observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes unjuk kerja, dan pedoman observasi, kemudian dianalisis secara  kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain peran dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada skor rata-rata siswa 78, 61 pada  siklus 1 dengan klasifikasi baik, dan skor rata-rata siswa siklus 2 menjadi 81,04 dengan klasifikasi sangat baik. Aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dari rata-rata 81,00 pada siklus 1 menjadi 92,00 pada siklus 2 dengan klasifikasi sangat baik. Jadi pelaksanaan tindakan menggunakan metode bermain peran telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini yakni skor perolehan rata-rata keterampilan berbicara siswa  ≥75,00 dan ketuntasan  belajar klassikal mencapai 75%. Peningkatan ini disebabkan karena adanya perubahan prosedur teknik, perubahan materi, dan perubahan anggota kelompok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan perancangan program bimbingan dan konseling pada guru bimbingan dan konseling SMK di kota Yogyakarta meliputi: rasional, dasar hukum, visi dan misi, deskripsi kebutuhan, tujuan, komponen program, bidang layanan, rencana operasional, pengembangan tema/topik, evaluasi, pelaporan dan tindak lanjut, anggaran biaya, sarana prasarana,dan ekuivalensi jam layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan jam mata pelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pada proses perancangan program bimbingan dan konseling, guru bimbingan dan konseling mengalami permasalahan pada aspek: (1) evaluasi pelaporan dan tindak lanjut; (2) anggaran biaya; (3) sarana prasarana; serta (4) ekuivalensi jam layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan mata pelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian lanjutan yang terkait dengan perancangan program bimbingan dan konseling terutama pada kesulitan pada aspek evaluasi, pelaporan dan tindak lanjut; anggaran biaya; sarana prasarana; dan ekuivalensi jam layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan mata pelajaran.

Abstract

Sesuai dengan UU No 18/2012 itu Pemerintah Republik Indonesia diamanatkan untuk menjamin bahwa pangan yang tersedia harus cukup, baik jumlah maupun mutunya, aman, beragam, bergizi, merata, dan terjangkau serta tidak bertentangan dengan agama, keyakinan, dan budaya masyarakat, untuk dapat hidup sehat, aktif, dan produktif secara berkelanjutan. Olahan ikan lele menjadi beberpa produk seperti abon lele, ikan asin lele dan lainnya guna menambah nilai jual ikan lele. Selain itu juga meningkatkan program deversifikasi makanan guna meningktakan asupan protein pada masyarakat. Proses produksi olahan lele pada abon lele dua dua, masih tidak memperhatikan mengenai kontaminan yang bisa mempengaruhi produk. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan pada industri tersebut tentang label makanan pengelolaan makanan yang tepat dengan menerapkan Hazzard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). Luaran kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan terkonsepnya suatu analisis HACCP yang dapat digunakan dalam keamanan pangan khususnya produk makanan.Kata Kunci: Abon Lele, HACCP, Keamanan Pangan
