Abstract

The study authors did in High School District of the City Bangkinang Kampar regency namely SMA SMA N 1 and N 2 Bangkinang Bangkinang. This study, entitled "Implementation of Family Function In Women's Work (Case Study High School Teacher) In high school SMA N 1 and N 2 Bangkinang Bangkinang Bangkinang District of Kampar regency". Topics focus of this research is how the division of time high school teacher in carrying out the role of housewife. In this study, researchers used informants through key informant research where researchers have understood the initial information about the object of research as well as research informants using Snowball Sampling. Informants in this study are high school teachers Bangkinang City District of Kampar regency as many as 11 people. The author uses qualitative descriptive method and the data was analyzed qualitatively. Data instrument is observation, interview, Library Studies and documentation. From research by the author. The authors conclude that the characteristics of the respondents work, more are dependents in the top 3 people in because of the distance the child of the other nearby, which make the cost of education and the need for more and more in day-to-day, on average, respondents had high school upwards, and that makes respondents work due to economic factors that are difficult at this time. Respondents are very big role in the family income, the income distribution of respondents 40% to help meet the needs of the family. The remaining 60% is still the husbands who find the money to meet the family economy. 7 functions of the family, only 5 function which is still on the run and held on a regular basis and by others, that the function of affect, socialization, status determination, protection and economic functions. while two other functions, namely: lack of sexual and reproductive setting run, this is due to the busyness of the respondents outside the home so that sexual and reproductive function did not go well.Keywords: A housewife and her role. Abstract

Suku Akit in Sungai Upih is one of the remote indigenous communities in the province of Riau. Suku Akit on the Sungai Upih is ethnicities in the region Pelalawan, precisely in the district of Kuala Kampar. Suku Akit on the Sungai Upih customs still strong holds in each of their lives, can be seen from the simple life that run in small groups of them. The purpose of this study was to obtain in-depth information about the social adaptation strategies in the Suku Akit Sungai Upih and factors that influence adaptation. Therefore, the location of the research conducted in the District of Kuala Kampar. The research objectives are few people on the Suku Akit Sungai Upih who have moved from traditional fishing profession to rice farmers as the livelihood of his life. The survey results revealed that social adaptation strategy akit tribal communities on the Sungai Upih is the interaction of the group outside the community primarily through the trading system and a source of jobs. There are still a lot number of the Family Head Suku Akit who live below the poverty line and the traditional fishermen with minimal knowledge and technology. There are only a few heads of the families were trying to adapt to the way moonlighting as rice farmers, farm laborers, and workers charcoal maker. Rice farmers is one of the social adaptation strategies to do community in Suku Akit Sungai Upih to survive in meeting basic needs of the family economy.This research is expected to be beneficial for all.Keywords: Strategy, Adaptation, Remote Indigenous Communities.

Abstract

This study was conducted at the final disposal (TPA) Kecamatan Rumbai of Muara Fajar Pekanbaru with problems: (1) How Sales Agent Profile Trash Scavenger Muara Fajar Di TPA? (2) How to Analyze Social Exchanges Between scavenger with trash in the TPA Dealers Muara Fajar ?. The purpose of this study To Know Sales Agent Profile Waste and TPA Scavengers In Muara Fajar and Explaining Social Exchange Analysis in Social Interaction Between Scavengers and Dealers Garbage in TPA Muara Fajar. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, subjects in this study were taken by purposive sampling technique namely those involved in socio-economic relations between the scavenger with sales agents Muara Fajar waste in the TPA. To collect research data using the data in-depth interview guidelines, observation and documentation. The results of this study explains that there are socio-economic relations between sales agent garbage scavengers of these relationships are formed patterns of social exchange is no cost and the rewards received by both. patterns formed more dominant on The proportion Value, Stimulus, Approval-Agresi and Rational. As for the cost they receive their discounted items, delays debt repayments scavengers, while the rewards they receive are always pick-up the goods Pulungan agent scavengers, their sense of shared destiny and arms and thus creating a sense of mutual help between them both in lending and borrowing, as well as a social visit.Keywords: Social Exchange, Social Interaction, Scavengers and Agents

Abstract

This research was carried out in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the time division of street sweeper women as single parents in the family, in activities in the family and work in the city of Pekanbaru. The topic of focus of this research is role conflict that occurs in the family and women's work of street sweepers in Pekanbaru City. Sampling techniques are accidental sampling and determine the number of samples as many as 7 people. The author uses qualitative methods and data instruments are observation, interviews and documentation. Research conducted concluded that the dual role of street sweeper women as single parents in the family in the city of Pekanbaru, besides working as street sweepers, most of them were mothers, who had the responsibility to educate children, take care of family matters, and also act as family breadwinner. In addition to working as a street sweeper, it turns out that some of them work side-by-side, such as becoming a household assistant in a neighbor's home in the neighborhood. It is known that the motivating factors of women who work as street sweepers are not only motivated by the economic factors of the poor families but are influenced by a strong desire to keep working, and for a variety of reasons, such as being influenced by social interaction that grows in the street sweeper environment. Abstract

This study entitled "Social Capital of the Joint Business Group in the Family Hope Program at Nagari Sungayang, Sungayang District, Tanah Datar Regency." Researchers are very interested in determining this theme because of the importance of the role of social capital in a group. Data analysis in this study is by using descriptive quantitative methods, which concerns the role of social capital in joint venture groups (KUBE) which will then be analyzed using social capital theory. As for the formulation of the problem in this study, namely (1) What is the role of the elements of social capital in the activities of the collective business group (KUBE) in PKH? (2) What are the barriers to each of the elements of social capital in the joint venture group (KUBE) in PKH? Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and documentation. As for the population and samples using the Slovin technique from 165 populations, 62 samples were obtained and the findings in the field can be seen that the role of social capital in the KUBE group, namely the elements of social capital norms and networks, is in the medium category and trust is in the low category. Meanwhile, the obstacle to the elements of social capital in the joint business group (KUBE) is trust. Keywords: Social Capital, KUBE, Hope Family Program

Abstract

The background of this research come from the autor’s observation of husband’s involvement in the pregnancy of the wife in the village of Ranah Singkuang. The formulation of the problem in this study is how modern knowledge and traditional knowledge of husbands about pregnancy and how the husband’s involvelment in the care of the wife’s pregnancy in the village of Ranah Singkuang. The purpose of this study was to determine the husband’s modern and tradisional knowledge about pregnancy and to find out the husband’s involvement in the wife’s pregnancy. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The population in this study was a husband whose wife was pregnant or the age of his last child was a maximum of 2 year. The sample in this study amounted to 48 people. Determination of samples using totally population technique. The result of the study showed that the most modern level of husband’s husband was in the moderate category with a total of 47.9% , and the level of tradisional knowledge wasat most in the low category with a total of 41,7%, and the involvemet of husbands in the care of the wife’s pregnancy,the involvement of the husbands was the motivator with the most categories in the high category with a total of 54.2%, most fasilitators are in the high category with a total of 45.8%, and most involvement as an educator is in the high category with a total of 79.2%.The conclusion of this study is that the husband’s moderen knowlwdge is the relatively high whil his tradisioanal knowledge is still low, wil the level of involvement is also high.Keywords: Knowledge, Involvement, husband, wife, Pregnancy

Abstract

This research was motivated by the economic life of fishermen in Bangko village. Traditional fishermen's heritage using only canoes and paddles to find fish was not able to compete with modern fishermen who used motorized boats and sophisticated fishing gear. Their low income due to the limited economic education and and lack of capital theory used by survival strategy theory researchers used qualitative research in which respondents were selected according to the criteria determined by the traditional fishermen, namely active, passive and network strategies. . Traditional fishermen in the village of BangkoPusaka also have side jobs such as gardening, taking wages, savings, and debt. And then the reason fishermen continue to work as traditional fishermen is because of the low education of these fishermen, the difficulty of finding work. Abstract

This study aims to determine the socio-economic background of Lepat Bugi trader and the strategy of trader in the confront of competition among fellow Lepat Bugi traders in the village of Danau Bingkuang. Research conducted using qualitative approach method. Informants are chose using a purposive sampling and techniques in data collection by using the techniques of observation, interview, and documentation. Subjects in this study are Lepat Bugi trader that exist in the village of Danau Bingkuang. Informants selected as many as 5 people based on certain criteria. The results of this study indicate that the Lepat Bugi traders has a moderate socio-economic background, this can be seen in terms of income that can meet the needs of his family and life, the ownership of household facilities, and the level of education is low. The form of competition that occurs among fellow Lepat Bugi traders that is healthy and unhealthy competition. The happening competition is how the traders can attract as many buyers and make a profit. The strategy used by Lepat Bugi traders to confront the competition is active strategy, passive strategy, and network strategy. This strategy is very necessary for traders to survive in running their business so that it can be passed on to the next generations.Keywords: socio-economic background, competition, and strategy

Abstract

This research was carried out in the City of Pasir Pengaraian,Rambah Sub District,Rokan Hulu Regency.The purpose of this study was to find out the profile of street sweeper women and the reasons for working as a sreetsweeper. The focus of this research is to analyze the factors that encourage women street sweepers to work in City of Pasir Pengaraian. The theory used in this study uses 1 theories, namely Role Theory. The data collection techniques of this study  were interviews,questionnaires and documentation.The sample  used in this study amounted to 52 respondents, all of which were street sweepers, the method used in this study was quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that 1). That women sreet sweepers in Pasir Pengaraian City almost spent their time outside 2).The reason women sreet sweepers work is because of the demands of life that cause economic pressure,besides that work also becomes a place to overcome boredom for research subjects. In this study the income of a female street sweeper was Rp.1,475,000, where their income is allocated to cover the costs of their children’s school besides working as a street sweeper,they can fulfill the needs of family members and themselves Keywords: Sreet Sweeper,Duel Role,Woman

Abstract

This research was conducted in Candirejo Village, Pasir Penyu Distric, Indragiri Hulu Subdistric. The problem in this study is, how to manage the Balai Adat how social control over the function of the Balai Adat. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods using purposive sampling technique followed by snowball sampling. The subject numbered 7 (seven) people, where initially researchers only interviewed 3 subjects, namely the LAM Area Pasir Penyu, DPH LAM Area Pasir Penyu , LAM subdistric Indragiri Hulu. Then by using snowball technique which is the addition of a subject that is the Government, The Police, PJ  traders, and parking attendants. Data collection uses observation techniques, in-depth interview and decomentation. The results in this study explain that in Pasir Penyu Subdistrict has Air Molek customary hall which is a hybrid of PT Tunggal Perkasa Plantations, the building of the Balai Adat is very grand but so far there is no management because the legality is not clear so that it is neglected and misused as a place of deviation of behavior that results in changes to the Balai Adat the weak social control of the LAM Area Pasir Penyu and other related parties in solving this problem so that irregularities still occur. It is hoped that the Balai Adat can be active again so that socio-cultural activities can be embraced in the building. Keywords : Social Control, Balai Adat, Deviant Behavior
