Abstract

Sebagai seorang yang beragama, seniman tidak terlepas dari kewajiban untuk mensyiarkan ajaran agama Islam dan menyeru kepada kebaikan. Sedekah adalah kebaikan yang merupakan perintah Allah untuk umat muslim. Sedekah berasal dari kata bahasa Arab yaitu shadaqoh yang berarti suatu pemberian yang diberikan oleh seorang muslim kepada orang lain secara spontan dan sukarela tanpa dibatasi oleh waktu dan jumlah tertentu.pemahaman masyarakat awam saat ini berpikiran bahwa bersedekah itu mengurangi harta atau sesuatu yang kita miliki, padahal dalam kehidupan nyata sering sekali penulis menemui peristiwa-peristiwa yang justru sebaliknya. Banyak sekali orang-orang yang semakin bersedekah justru seakin bertambah hartanya.Untuk mensyiarkan manfaat sedekah penulis dalam tugas akhir ini mengangkat kisah tentang sedekah dan balasan bagi orang yang ikhlas dalam bersedekah. Dari hal tersebutlah penulis tertarik untuk membuat sebuah karya dalam bentuk komik dengan mengangkat tema tersebut.Buku komik ini dikerjakan menggunakan teknik digital, seluruh pengerjaan dikerjakan pada adobe photoshop menggunakan pen tablet.Hasil dari tugas akhir ini diharapkan dapat menyampaikan / berkomunikasi dan menginspirasi para pembaca untuk bersedekah.

Abstract

Rabbani Wahed Dance is a traditional dance that grows and develops in Samalanga, Bireuen, Aceh. The Rabbani Wahed dance was inspired by Meugrob's movements and poetry which is originated from the practice of the Tarekat Shammaniyah. This dance serves as a media for preaching Islam and contains the value of religious character. This study aims to find out the religious values that contained in Rabbani Wahed dance. In addition, Qualitative method is used in this research. The location of the study was conducted at the Seulanga studio, Sangso village, Samalanga, Bireuen. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation techniques use the source triangulation. Moreover, the data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study concluded that the religious value of Rabbani Wahed dance contained in the poem, including the verse of Saleum that explains about mutual respect, Bismillah illustrates about the goodness, Salatullah talks about praise of the Prophet and obedience to Allah, Attahiyatoen explains about obedience to parents, Allah Rabbani explains the faith to Allah, Sultan Maujuddoen says about the power of Allah, Din Awai Din illustrates about knowing of Allah and the verse of Allahu explains about the majesty of Allah.

Abstract

The transformation of furniture craft shape in Tempel village Lemahbang is done by the craftsmen to face the market development. This research aims at understanding the transformation of furniture craft shape in Tempel village Lemahbang Blora in facing market development. The research method was qualitative while the data collection technique used observation, interview, document study. The technique of data validity used source triangulation, while the data analysis procedure used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research result is that the furniture transformation happened from the shape and material. The shape aspect transformation is from classical furniture, such as wooden table or chair in Perancisan (French) style to rustic style. The rustic shape of furniture has created tables, chairs, and ornamental animal shaped furniture. The rustic furniture created by the craftsman has rough shape, preserve natural characteristic from the material used, i.e, bonggol (part of Jati tree’s root). The research findings show that the furniture crafts in Blora experience shape transformation to keep up with market development. The benefit of the research for arts education especially formal arts education agency is as a source of arts teaching learning based on local culture. The suggestion for the craftsmen is always to develop their self-potential, especially their English competency so that they will be easy to communicate with foreign customers.

Abstract

Sining dance is the parent of dances in Gayo. Sining dance is one of traditional dances that supports the development of tourism in Central Aceh. The purpose of this research is to analyze the Sining dance and its role of tourism in Central Aceh. The research method was qualitative descriptive and used ethnographic approach.The data collection was used techniques of observation, deep interview, and document study. Data validation was done with data triangulation, source triangulation, and method triangulation while the the analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion drawing. The results show that the performance of Sining dance plyas a role as cultural attraction, Sining dance also becomes one of tourism attraction through documenter video, Sining dance in one of presentation in a show, and Sining dance is a means of entertainment. The occurence of Sining dance in tourism influences the economic benefit of Central Aceh community and automatically it can preserved Sining dance itself. This research is useful as a vehicle for developing studies on traditional art problems, and is useful as an empirical input for relevant government agencies.

Abstract

The patterns of batik are strongly influenced by geographical location of the area of manufacture, the state of environment surrounding, and the flora and fauna. Sarolangun area which travesed by Batang Tembesi river makes people familiar with their natural environment. Seluang fish is small fish that Sarolangun endemic which are often waited its existence by the fishermen because of their habit swimming on the river surface in groups. The purpose of the research is to analyze batik patterns Seluang Mudik in Sarolangun regency, Jambi province. The method used in this research was qualitative with observation, interview, and document study as the technique of data collecting. The data validity used the technique of information triangulation from various sources, methods, and theories. The data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results show that batik motif Seluang Mudik that has various decoration Seluang fish that together swim to a destination to ease the burden against the flow when they immigrate to upstream. It closely relates to the identity of Sarolangun-Jambi society means the knitted togetherness. This togetherness can be found at the events held in society that always be together. One of them is in Lumbo Biduk event, hand in hand in Baralek event, and so on. Implications given by this research is that it can be beneficial for development of batik, for the society surrounding toward environment, for young generations to recognize culture in Sarolangun and for government to support regional potential.

Abstract

The plethora of emerging technology or the rapid development of civilization will require for readiness of the human resources which are more creative in every aspect. Hence creative environmental conditions and the availability of opportunities to carry out various creative activities for children need to be utilized to develop their culture of creativity. This study aims to analyze the creativity of students as a result of utilizing animated films in drawing illustrations. This is a qualitative research with controlled observation. The research location is in the Semesta Bilingual Elementary School with the third grade students as the subjects. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, documentation, and test which are validated by using data triangulation. Data analysis techniques are carried out qualitatively and quantitatively by using aesthetic and creativity theories. The results of the study show that based on aesthetic aspects on controlled observation 1, most of the students (50%) got the score 75-80 of fair category; while on the controlled observation 2, most of the students (43.75%) got a score range 81-85 of good category. Meanwhile, based on the creativity aspect of the 16 students of Class III B, five students (31.25%) choose the S-01 scene, two students (12.5%) chosse the S-02 scene, four students (25%) choose the S-03 scene, three students (18.75%) choose the S-04 scene, and two students (12.5%) choose the S-05 scene as a reference to draw the illustration of Finding Nemo. The creativity analysis shows that students start by taking the references from the scenes, developing ideas in creating the works by adding fish figures and other objects, as well as beautifying the background with gradation coloring technique. The final results obtained indicate an improvement in students’ creativity. Animated films can attract students' attention, optimize students' ability, and stimulate students' creativity in creating works. This study is expected to be able to develop the students’ potential to think and be creative in facing the rapid development of technology.

Abstract

Learning art at the high school level is an important part of the formal school learning process. Art education and creativity through the art of illustration in the process of learning in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kudus is an aesthetic educational institution for learners. An introduction to the values ​​of working with illustrative art, the sensitivity of elements and principles of evaluation of illustrative artwork and the importance of creativity education to students through the techniques of montage in illustrative artwork. This research used qualitative descriptive methods. With the study setting in the SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kudus in Class VIII-H. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative research stages and validity of data using Triangulation data. The results of the research are revealing; (1) the process of implementing illustrative art learning with the application of montage techniques to the grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kudus, (2) the analysis of art elements and design principles in the aesthetic assessment of 12 illustrated works of art, and (3) the analysis of creative creativity art works of 12 illustrated works using montage techniques. The conclusion from the analysis of the 12 paintings, shows that the art of illustration with the montage technique is a form of aesthetic expression and artistic creativity from the expression of the ideas and ideas of each student in the art of assessment of elements and principles of art.

Abstract

Semarang Night Carnival (SNC) is a yearly costume design show from the creativity of the youth of Semarang and its surrounding areas which brings unique and interesting themes and has an aesthetic value. There are four themes that has enliven the 7th SNC in 2018 in Semarang City, they are, defile, Masquerede Gold (Batik Semarangan), Masquerede silver (Art Deco) taking the theme of Lawang Sewu, Masquerede Red (Pelangi village) and Masquirade Blue (Coast). This study aims to reveal the aesthetic values contained in the Semarang Night Carnival (SNC) costume design in Semarangan culture used in the Semarang City Anniversary activities in 2018. The benefits of research can give contributions to all parties regarding the existence of SNC both theoretically and practically. The research method used descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques were obtained by observation, interview and documentation study. Data analysis used data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the costume design worn by the participants of the Semarang Night Carnival had an aesthetic value according to the property of something being valued, according to himself or according to other sources of value in accordance with the theme carried. The Semarang Night Carnival costume design worn by the participants included asem arang costume, butterfly costume, lawang sewu costume and beach costume.

Abstract

Heo is a traditional musical instrument typical of the people of Timor, especially the Dawan Tribe, Insana District, East Nusa Tenggara, which is used as an accompaniment to dances, songs, and poems.One of the studio that still maintains this instrument specifically in its composition and function is the Feotnai Insana Studio. This study examines and analyzes the composition of the Heo musical instrument in Sanggar Feotnai Insana and its functions in society. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The technique of collecting data using observation, interview, document study techniques. The data validity technique uses triangulation methods / techniques. Data analysis techniques use the theory of music composition and the function of music in society. The results of this study obtained facts in the composition of the heo musical instrument playing: Allegretto Tempo: 106 bpm, the time signature using a 2/4 beat,the rhythmplayed using a Tamburwith a Timorese rhyme, the melody played by the Heo and Fekoo and harmony played by the Leko Boko by using the C chord. The benefits of this study can expand the reader's perspective on the traditional music of the Dawan Tribe, Heo and provide information about the composition of the Heo musical instrument in the community which also supports Heo's existence.

Abstract

The Kethek Ogleng dance performance is one of the traditional dances that is inherited and there are cultural values at Darma Giri Budaya Dance Studio in Wonogiri Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the inheritance of cultural values in the performances of the Kethek Ogleng Dance at the Darma Giri Budaya Dance Studio in Wonogiri Regency. The method used is qualitative with ethnochoreological approaches. The data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document study. The analysis process began from collecting data, reducing dataand clarifying, concluding and interpreting. The cultural value of Kethek Ogleng Dance can be seen in the dance moves, the performing techniques, dancers, time, drama, and technique. The cultural values that are seen from the knowledge obtained is from learning in the Studio and formal schools. Skillis the process of training artists to the dancer of Kethek Ogleng in the studio. Attitude, the artist teaches the attitude of dancer Kethek Ogleng that the talent possessed must be delivered.
