Abstract

 ABSTRACT The purpose of this study describe (1) the ability of reading  news comprehension class X SMK Negeri 2 Painan, (2) the ability to write  news class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Painan, (3) the relationship of reading news comprehension skills with the ability to write an news SMK Negeri 2 class X Painan. The data in this study were collected by using objective test and a performance test. The findings of the study (1) the ability of reading news comprehension class X students of  SMK Negeri 2 Painan are in more than enough qualification (71,09), (2) the ability to write news class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Painan are more than enough to qualify (73,61), (3) there is a significant relationship between reading news comprehension skills with the ability to write news class X SMK Negeri 2 Painan. Kata kunci : membaca pemahaman berita, menulis berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe 1) short story writing skill of tenth graders in Padang Adabiah high school without using serial pictures media, 2) describe short story writing skill of tenth graders in Padang Adabiah high school by using serial pictures media, 3) describe the influence of using serial pictures media toward the level of short story writing skills of tenth grader in Padang Adabiah High School. The type of this research is quantitative research done using quasi experimental design. There are three results of the research are (1) short story writing skills of the tenth graders in Padang Adabiah Senior High School without using serial pictures media were in more than enough qualifying with the average score of 67,78. (2) short story writing skills of the tenth graders in Padang Adabiah Senior High School by using serial pictures media were in a good qualifying with the average score of 76.55. (3) based on the t-test at the level of 0.05 obtained thitung > ttabel (5,54> 1,70). Thus, it can be said that H1 is accepted. It means that there is a significant effect of using serial pictures media toward the short story writing skills of tenth graders in Padang Adabiah Senior High School.Kata kunci : pengaruh, media gambar berseri, and cerita pendek

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to know the relationship of reading comprehension skill with the skills of writing expositions of student of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung Kabupaten Dharmasraya. The type of this research is quantitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive method which uses correlational research design. The population is the students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung Kabupaten Dharmasraya which consist of 191 students who are divided into six classes. The samples of this research are 30 students. This research consists of two variables, which are independent variable (reading comprehension skill of the exposition of the class X SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung Kabupaten Dharmasraya) and dependent variable (writing skill of  expositions students of SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung Kabupaten Dharmasraya). The research’s results show that for the skill of expository writing is required the comprehension skill of reading expository. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is significant relation (meaningful) between the reading comprehension skill with the skills of writing expositions of students class  X SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung Kabupaten Dharmasraya on degree of freedom n-1 at significant degree 95 % which the tcount is bigger that ttable, which is 5,652 > 1,70. Kata kunci: membaca pemahaman, menulis teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of  the research is to description the effects of the problem based learning model in the skill of writing the news for students at VIII grade SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar. The method used is the experiment method. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded the following three points. First, the skills of writingthe news before use of the problem based learning model students in class VIII was on qualifications more than enough with the average value of 68,41. Second, the  skill of writing the news after use of the problem based learning model students in class VIII was on qualification Good with the average value of 77,94. Third, based on the results of uji-t, it was concluded that there is a effects of problem based learning model in the skills of writing the news for students at VIII grade SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar because the value is tarrmatic>ttable (2,87>1,68). Kata kunci: pengaruh, model problem based learning,menulis,berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to (1) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas without using a strategy of inquiry assisted audiovisual media, (2) describe the level of skills of writing news eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Trunk Cotton using a strategy of inquiry assisted media audiovisual, and (3) describe the effect of the use of inquiry strategies aided audiovisual media to news writing skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas. This research is a quantitative study with experimental method. The results of this study there are three, namely (1) news writing skills without the use of audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Rod Cotton is the qualification More than Enough (LDC) with an average value of 68.37. (2) news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Cotton Trunk is qualifiers Good (B) with an average value of 81.63. (3) based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted at 95% significance level and degrees of freedom (df) = (n1 + n2) -2 because thitung¬> ttable (12.27> 1.67). From the results of hypothesis testing there is a significant influence on news writing skills using audiovisual media strategy aided inquiry eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas.  Kata kunci: Pengaruh, strategi inkuiri, mdi audiovisual, menulis berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the correlation of reading comprehension skill with the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with correlational method. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The data of this research is the result score skill test reading comprehension and the result score skill test of writing the text of the result of observation. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are obtained. First, the skill of reading comprehension of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang is in good qualification  (77,13). Second, the skill of writting the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang is in more than enough qualification (69,63). Third, there is correlation of reading comprehension skill with the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 10 Padang because tcount>ttable (2,47>1,31). Kata kunci: korelasi, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to describe appreciative reading skill, (2) to describe the skill of writing short story, and (3) to analyze the relationship of appreciative reading skill with the skill of writing short story of grade X of SMA UNP Development Labolatorium. The data of this research is the score of reading skill test of apresiatif and score of skill writing writing skill test result. The findings of this research are (1) appreciative reading skill is in good qualification with average score 80,82, (2) skill of writing short story is in good qualification with average value 78,53, and (3) based on t test, H1 is accepted because thitung> ttable is 0.345 > 1.68. Kata kunci       : hubungan, membaca apresiatif, menulis cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is describing the influence of cooperative learning model think talk write type through picture series medium in writing short story skill for students at X grade of Senior High School 3 of Padang Panjang. The data of this research is result test score of writing short story skill by using technique copy the master. Data is collected by work method test. The result of this research is it has significance influence of technique copy the master in writing short story skill for students at X grade of Senior High School 3 of Padang Panjang which on 95% significance level by (n1+n2)-2 freedom degree that is thitung > ttabel (7,33 >1,67). H0  is refused and H1 is accepted because the result of hypothesis test going to show that  thitung is bigger than ttabel. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, teknik copy the master, keterampilan menulis cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written that has purpose to describe the kind of social critic in the Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2014. The research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Sources of data in this study is the short stories contained in the book of Cerpen Pilihan Kompas 2014, published by Kompas, Jakarta, second edition, August 2015. Social criticism found in this study, namely (1) the problem of poverty, (2) the problem of evil, (3) the problem of disorganization family, (4) problems young people in modern society, (5) the violation of the norms of society, (6) problems of population, (7) environmental problems, (8) the issue of religion and belief, and (9) the problem of bureaucracy. Kata kunci: kritik sosial, cerpen, kualitatif, deskriptif

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the meaning and value of moral education is contained in a figurative expression of Minangkabau society in the village of downstream talawi sub talawi Sawahlunto city. The data of this study is the figurative expression in the village of the downstream talawi subtalawi Sawahlunto city. Source of research data is the primary source of oral sources as spoken by the informant as the original speakers. Datawas collected using the methods and techniques refer to there cord and advanced engineering techniques as noted. The findings of the study include three things: (1) the meaning of figurative expression, the meaning is not true but there is no intention implied from the expression presented, with the aim that recipients do not feel offended expression, (2) the value of education, especially about the value of moral education that is useful in the association community life.
