Abstract

The rapid development of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) currently cannot shift the role of investors conducting transactions on the IDX, through the capital market which is a liaison between investors (those who have funds) and companies (those who need long-term funds). Financial ratio analysis can help business people, governments and financial users for the company's financial needs. Types of financial ratios that are often used in a company's financial valuation are liquidity ratios, activity ratios, solvency ratios, profitability ratios, and market ratios. Profitability, liquidity, solvency, activities and markets do not have a positive influence on the company's stock price. Liquidity, solvency, activities and markets do not have a significant effect on stock prices. Profitability has a significant influence on stock prices. Food and beverage industry subsectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) need to increase share prices. Improve and focus company performance on strategies that can be used in managing finances before specifically for liquidity, solvency, activity and market performance. Keywords :  financial performance, profitability, liquidity, solvency, activities, markets, stock prices

Abstract

Changes in people's consumption patterns and the prospects for the fast-food restaurant industry can cause companies that appear in the food industry to become more competitive. The cultural shift of Indonesian society is increasingly modern, especially in urban areas that like practical and instant food. Changes in the culture of Indonesian society are usually marked by changes in lifestyle. The increasingly modern lifestyle of urban communities makes it difficult for people to avoid fast food types. Pizza Hut is a company engaged in fast food in the form of Italian-American cuisine with the main product being Pizza. Brand image is a very important thing that must be considered by companies as producers because a good brand image will create emotional value in consumers. Products sold by a company or producer must consider the price sold to the market, including discount prices offered to consumers, because consumers will judge the price of a product based on perceived benefits. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the influence of Brand Image, Price Perception, and Promotion on Purchase Decisions at Pizza Hut. This study uses quantitative methods. To achieve this goal, the researcher distributed questionnaires and the sample used was 99 respondents. The results of this study indicate that brand image, price perception, and promotion have a significant positive effect on purchase decisions. Keywords: brand image, price perception, promotion, purchase decision

Abstract

So far, there has been little research related to the impact of globalization on corporate governance, particularly the internationalization of the board of directors of international orglobal companies. Besides that, there has been little attention to the nationality compositionof top management. In connection with such a condition, this study attempts to investigatehow the Nationality Diversity in Top Management Team (TMT) affects Company Performancein big countries in Europe versus small countries in Europe. The research data weremanagement boards of companies in 111 companies: 30 in Germany, 38 in France, 25 in theNetherlands, and 18 in Belgium. The whole dataset was provided by Van Veen and Marsman(2008) and derived from this study on nationality diversity. The study provides several results.First, there is a positive relationship between the nationality diversity of TMT membersand company performance. Second, the size of the companies depends on the size of thecountry; companies in the big countries have more employees than those in the small countries.Third, the result of company performance in the big countries and the small countries isnot significant, so the performance of the companies in the big countries is not better thanthat of the companies in the small countries.
