Abstract

Attendance is the process of recording and monitoring the presence of individuals in an event, meeting, or specific activity. In an educational setting, attendance is used to monitor the presence of students in class. Attendance becomes part of the assessment given by instructors to students, which can affect the final grades received by the students. However, cheating often occurs among students regarding attendance in order to meet the minimum attendance requirement in teaching and learning activities. This practice of proxy attendance can harm the instructors, other students, and even the students who engage in such cheating. Additionally, the attendance sheets used to record attendance often suffer from damage. Yet, these attendance sheets will be used as reports related to teaching and learning activities within a semester. If these documents are damaged, it will affect the document verification process by the university. Therefore, we have designed the Student Attendance Application to facilitate and enhance the efficiency of recording student attendance in the campus environment.

Abstract

The car rental industry has grown rapidly in recent years. More and more people need rental cars for business trips, vacations, or daily necessities. However, with the development of this industry, it becomes a new challenge for us so that it becomes a new problem and difficulty in finding and ordering car rentals easily and efficiently. The purpose of this car rental application is to provide clear and detailed guidelines for the team in building a good and effective car rental application. By developing this car rental application, we hope to provide a better and more efficient experience for prospective car renters. We believe that by utilizing digital technology, car rental can be simpler, transparent and easily accessible to everyone.

Abstract

This training program aims to improve the competence of vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Polman District, West Sulawesi Province, in using educational aids as a learning medium in the era of industry 4.0, in order to enhance the learning outcomes of students in SMK Negeri Sulawesi Barat. The activity is conducted in the form of training on the use of educational aids as a learning medium for SMK teachers. The participants of this training program consist of 30 teachers from SMK Negeri Paku Polewali Mandar Sulawei Barat. Based on the results obtained, this community service activity has been successfully implemented in accordance with the expectations of the service team and participants. The percentage of achievement of the community service activity over 2 days is 93.25%.

Abstract

This article discusses the Community Service (PKM) program which aims to empower housewives in the coastal area of Panrangluhu Beach through training in making charcoal briquettes from coconut shells. This activity is carried out with a focus on the creation of charcoal briquette products with high selling value and environmentally friendly. The main objective of this program is to improve the skills of housewives in making charcoal briquettes, improve the economic aspects of families through increasing income from the sale of charcoal briquettes, and at the same time support efforts to preserve the coastal environment. The methodology of implementing the program involves technical training in making charcoal briquettes and education on sustainable environmental aspects. In this training, housewives are trained to identify and use environmentally friendly local raw materials, as well as understand the importance of sustainable natural resource management. The result of this program is an increase in the knowledge and skills of housewives in producing high-quality charcoal briquettes, which can then be sold at more favorable prices. It is hoped that this PKM program will provide dual benefits, namely improving the standard of living of Panrangluhu Beach coastal housewives through increasing income and at the same time encouraging environmental awareness in the use of natural resources. In addition, the application of environmentally friendly practices in the production of charcoal briquettes can also contribute to the preservation of vulnerable coastal ecosystems.

Abstract

Identifikasi Pemahaman Siswa Dengan Menggunakan Evaluasi Model Peta Konsep Mata Pelajaran Kelistrikan Otomotif Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa. Skripsi. Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dalam bentuk deskriptif yang melibatkan variabel tunggal, yaitu pemahaman yang diidentifikasi dengan cara evaluasi model peta konsep. populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa pada tahun pelajaran 2010/2011 sebanyak 120 siswa yang tersebar pada 3 kelas. Sampel yang dipilih secara acak sebanyak 30 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui dua cara : Nilai siswa yang diperoleh melalui evaluasi multiple choice sebagai data pembanding dan nilai siswa yang diperoleh melalui evaluasi model peta konsep. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif inferential, Selanjutnya data tersebut dideskriptifkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasannya dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman kelistrikan otomotif siswa kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu kabupaten gowa yang diidentifikasi dengan evaluasi multiple choice oleh guru bidang studi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase skor ≥ 43,33% sedangkan identifikasi pemahaman siswa oleh peneliti menggunakan evaluasi model peta konsep berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase skor ≤ 30,00% dengan siswa yang sama. Melihat hal tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi model peta konsep lebih ideal digunakan dalam mengevaluasi pemahaman konsep siswa karena gambaran pemahaman siswa terlihat pada diagram pemetaan konsep

Abstract

SMA Negeri 2 Barru faces significant challenges in integrating technology into education, particularly in enhancing digital literacy among teachers to bridge the skills gap needed for entrepreneurship in the digital era. This community service aims to improve entrepreneurial skills among teachers and students by utilizing AI and AR technology. The program employs an Action Research approach, involving cycles of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection to enhance the participants' technological competencies. The results indicate that the program successfully equipped teachers with essential skills such as market trend analysis using Google Forms, business idea brainstorming with AI, and utilizing AR for product visualization. However, challenges such as limited time and inadequate internet connectivity affected the absorption of the material. Despite these obstacles, the program demonstrated a positive impact on the participants' technological and entrepreneurial abilities, though further improvements in infrastructure and training duration are recommended for future programs. Abstrak SMA Negeri 2 Barru menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pendidikan, terutama dalam meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan guru untuk menjembatani kesenjangan keterampilan yang diperlukan dalam kewirausahaan di era digital. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan di kalangan guru dan siswa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi AI dan AR. Program ini menggunakan pendekatan Action Research, yang melibatkan siklus perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi teknologi para peserta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil membekali guru dengan keterampilan penting seperti analisis tren pasar menggunakan Google Form, brainstorming ide bisnis dengan AI, dan memanfaatkan AR untuk visualisasi produk. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan konektivitas internet yang kurang memadai mempengaruhi penyerapan materi. Meskipun demikian, program ini telah menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan teknologi dan kewirausahaan para peserta, meskipun perbaikan lebih lanjut dalam infrastruktur dan durasi pelatihan direkomendasikan untuk program-program mendatang.

Abstract

This study explores the development and implementation of SATURI (Satu Akses Terintegrasi Rakyat Indonesia), a comprehensive digital platform designed to centralize public service access for Indonesian citizens. Indonesia faces significant challenges in adopting digital public services, particularly due to low digital literacy, fragmented service platforms, and issues of usability. This study follows the Design Thinking methodology, which includes Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test phases, to develop and refine SATURI. The Empathy phase revealed that citizens, especially in rural areas, encounter difficulty accessing and navigating digital public services. Through user-centered design, the platform integrates multiple government services, such as applying for ID cards, licenses, and tax payments, into a single interface, with features like automated data entry and geolocation services. The Ideate phase focused on developing innovative solutions to the challenges identified, while the Prototype and Test phases involved extensive usability testing and focus group discussions. Feedback led to improvements in usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction, particularly through the introduction of interactive tutorials and live chat support. The results suggest that SATURI could significantly enhance the efficiency and accessibility of public services in Indonesia, offering a more inclusive and user-friendly solution for citizens, especially those with low digital literacy. The study concludes with recommendations for expanding service integrations, improving mobile accessibility, and incorporating continuous user feedback to ensure that SATURI remains adaptable and effective for all users.

Abstract

Aplikasi Alat Bantu Tani berbasis Web merupakan suatu sistem yang memudahkan para Petani dalam mendapatkan informasi terkait pertanian yang sedang dilakukan, mengolah laporan penjualan hasil pertanian, mengetahui berita terkini tentang perkaitan maupun menyampaikan keluhan atau masalah apa yang terjadi dalam pertanian kepada perangkat desa ataupun pemerintah setempat agar bisa diatasi. Aplikasi ini dibuat juga untuk memudahkan pemberian informasi dengan menggunakan metode SMS Gateway. Dalam pembuatan webnya, aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP.

Abstract

Pengembangan aplikasi pemesanan makanan restoran berbasis Android dengan menggunakan Firebase adalah langkah inovatif dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan dalam memesan makanan secara online. Artikel ini membahas proses pengembangan aplikasi tersebut, mulai dari perancangan antarmuka pengguna hingga implementasi fitur-fitur penting seperti melihat menu, menambahkan makanan ke keranjang, dan melakukan pembayaran. Penggunaan Firebase sebagai database backend memberikan keleluasaan dalam menyimpan dan mengelola data pengguna, menu makanan, dan pesanan, serta memungkinkan pelacakan status pesanan secara real-time. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini memberikan pengalaman yang memuaskan bagi pengguna dalam memesan makanan secara online.

Abstract

As artificial intelligence increasingly permeates higher education systems worldwide, developing students' ethical awareness has become essential for responsible AI implementation. This study seeks to examine the connections between technical understanding, applied knowledge, and critical appraisal in shaping ethical awareness within the context of AI literacy. The study utilizes a quantitative method, applying Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to data gathered from 322 university students. The findings indicate that technical understanding has a direct favorable influence of 0.180 on ethical awareness, while applied knowledge demonstrates a stronger impact of 0.467. Critical appraisal serves as a significant complementary partial mediator, with indirect path coefficients of 0.083 for technical understanding and 0.155 for applied knowledge, strengthening their relationships with ethical awareness. This study concludes that AI literacy educational programs should not only emphasize technical and applied knowledge but also foster critical appraisal skills to promote ethical AI usage.
