Abstract

The lack of awareness regarding the management of household waste, particularly hazardous and toxic waste, poses a significant threat to environmental pollution. This lack of awareness is exacerbated by the accumulation and mixing of such waste with other categories of household waste. This study aims to mitigate the impact of household waste through an assistance mechanism designed to alter waste management behavior. Employing a quasi-experimental method, the research was conducted within the community of Pasirkaliki Village, North Cimahi. The study revealed significant changes in both the knowledge and behavior of the community towards waste management. Post-intervention, there was a notable increase of 16.6% in the community's knowledge compared to pre-intervention measurements. Furthermore, individuals who initially exhibited poor knowledge of waste types showed a remarkable 55.6% increase in understanding. The enhanced knowledge positively correlated with changes in behavior, evidenced by the increased community agreement on sorting waste based on its categories. This behavioral change was attributed to the intervention, supported by a p-value of 0.002. The results underscore the effectiveness of the assistance provided, which involved identifying community tendencies and employing direct involvement to enable individuals to experience the benefits firsthand through education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the innovation of the independent learning curriculum in the era of society 5.0 in building the future of education. The research method used is a qualitative approach to literature studies that focuses on understanding meaning and does not rely on mathematical or statistical evidence. The data collection technique was carried out through a literature review that discussed the innovation of the independent learning curriculum in the era of society 5.0 in building the future of education sourced from relevant journals and books. This method allows researchers to gain in-depth insight into the innovation of the Independent Learning Curriculum in the Society 5.0 Era in the context of education. The result of this work, namely the Independent Learning curriculum in the Society 5.0 era, produces a positive impact by prioritizing mastery of various fields of science without the limitations of study programs, increasing students' flexibility to explore individual interests, and strengthening critical skills and independence in the face of complex changes. This curriculum also pays attention to students' identities as agents of change who are responsible, ethical, and contribute positively, as well as broadening perspectives through exploring knowledge to face future challenges with strong competence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe a digital-based family health education model for the prevention of anemia in Junior High School Students. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach involving 100 families of female students, who filled out questionnaires regarding their knowledge of anemia, health education, use of digital media, and knowledge and compliance with consuming iron tablets. The data analysis technique in this research used frequency distribution. The results showed that most families lacked knowledge about the signs, consequences, and prevention of anemia, although almost all respondents recognized the importance of family education for anemia prevention. In addition, almost all Junior High School Students had good knowledge of anemia, and almost all families had access and use of WhatsApp as digital media. However, the compliance of Junior High School Students in consuming iron tablets needed improvement. These findings highlight the need for developing a digital-based family health education program utilizing WhatsApp to enhance knowledge and compliance in anemia prevention. It is hoped that this intervention will create sustainable behavioral changes and positively impact the health of adolescent girls.

Abstract

Sustainable waste management is a responsibility for consumption and production, by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). According to data from the Karawang Regency Central Statistics Agency, in 2021, it is estimated that the amount of organic waste produced every day in the Village X area will range from 16.13 to 18.43 tonnes. This high amount of organic waste is a major problem regarding the region's environmental cleanliness and health. People at Village X Waste Bank are trying to utilise organic waste as food for fly larvae (maggots), but the success rate has only reached 30%. Research in Village X in October 2023 aims to determine the problems faced and strategies for optimizing maggot cultivation. The sample consisted of three informants, namely Village X, the director of Waste Bank X, and Village X staff. The research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, and the analysis technique for strategy formulation was Fishbone Diagram analysis. Based on the analysis, the factors causing problems at Bank Sampah X include: lack of knowledge and training, obsolete machines and unsupportive funds, lack of facilities and infrastructure, inappropriate waste characteristics, lack of communication and monitoring, lack of role of local youth organizations, presence of maggot predators, and lack of role of local youth organizations. Monitoring and evaluation activities are strategies to overcome these problems.

Abstract

Stunting is a global health problem affecting many countries, including Indonesia, with serious long-term impacts on children's growth and development. This phenomenon requires special attention because it can affect the quality of life and future potential of individuals. This study aimed to design a relevant and effective adolescent empowerment model to prevent stunting, focusing on prospective married couples in the Bogor area. The research method used is the 4-D model development design (Four D Models), which includes four main stages: Define (problem determination), Design (model design), Develop (model development), and Disseminate (model dissemination). The results of this study indicate that prospective married couples in Bogor have very limited initial understanding of how to prevent stunting. This finding highlights the need for active involvement of adolescents in the education process and decision-making related to stunting prevention. In addition, community support has proven to be very important in changing behavior and raising awareness about stunting. This study also underlines the importance of a solid monitoring and evaluation system to ensure that the empowerment model developed can be implemented sustainably and effectively. By implementing the empowerment model widely and continuously monitoring its implementation, it is hoped that it can optimize stunting prevention efforts in the future and have a positive impact on public health in the Bogor area.

Abstract

Energi panas bumi merupakan sumber energi terbarukan yang bersih dan ramah lingkungan, dengan potensi besar yang belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi dan pemanfaatan energi panas bumi di Gunung Ciremai, Kabupaten Kuningan, sebagai solusi energi masa depan yang berkelanjutan. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan studi literatur, data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah untuk mengevaluasi kapasitas energi, karakteristik geologi, serta tantangan dan prospek pengelolaan energi panas bumi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi energi panas bumi di wilayah ini diperkirakan mencapai 110 MW, yang dapat menyuplai kebutuhan listrik bagi ribuan rumah tangga. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan energi panas bumi untuk mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

Pengembangan model pembelajaran lalu lintas berbasis komunitas di Kabupaten Cianjur membutuhkan implementasi pedagogik dan andragogi yang efektif untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang optimal. Abstrak ini akan menjelaskan tentang bagaimana kedua pendekatan tersebut dapat diimplementasikan dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran lalu lintas di Kabupaten Cianjur. pedagogik digunakan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik di tingkat pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Pendekatan ini berfokus pada peran guru sebagai pengajar dan peserta didik sebagai penerima informasi. Dalam konteks pembelajaran lalu lintas, guru akan memainkan peran sentral dalam menyampaikan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap yang diperlukan dalam berlalu lintas yang aman dan bertanggung jawab. Penggunaan metode pengajaran yang interaktif, seperti diskusi kelompok, permainan peran, dan studi kasus, akan mendorong partisipasi aktif peserta didik dan meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang aturan lalu lintas. andragogi digunakan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik di tingkat pendidikan tinggi dan masyarakat umum. Pendekatan ini lebih berfokus pada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, di mana mereka memiliki peran aktif dalam menentukan jalannya pembelajaran. Dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran lalu lintas berbasis komunitas, peserta didik di Kabupaten Cianjur akan didorong untuk mengambil peran sebagai anggota masyarakat yang bertanggung jawab dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan lalu lintas. Diskusi terbuka, simulasi, dan proyek kolaboratif akan digunakan sebagai metode pembelajaran untuk mengaktifkan pemikiran kritis dan partisipasi aktif peserta didik. implementasi pedagogik dan andragogi dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran lalu lintas berbasis komunitas di Kabupaten Cianjur menjadi penting untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang efektif. Pedagogik berfokus pada pembelajaran di tingkat pendidikan dasar dan menengah, sedangkan andragogi berfokus pada pendidikan tinggi dan masyarakat umum. Kedua pendekatan ini akan memastikan partisipasi aktif peserta didik, meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang aturan lalu lintas, dan mendorong mereka untuk menjadi anggota masyarakat yang bertanggung jawab dalam berlalu lintas..Kata Kunci : Pedagogik, Andragogi, Pembelajaran Lalu Lintas, Cianjur

Abstract

Drug abuse among the community is currently a serious problem. The crime of drug abuse not only threatens in terms of health, but also threatens in terms of the resilience and security system of a country. The problem of drug abuse in Indonesia is one of the reasons behind the existence of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). The National Narcotics Agency is one of the efforts made by the government to reduce crimes arising from drug abuse in Indonesia. Now, the National Narcotics Agency is holding a program that seeks to reduce people in drug abuse, especially in Cimahi City. The program is the Kelurahan Bersih dari Obat (Bersinar) program. The Bersinar village program involves various parties, both government, ministries, agencies, legal institutions and community stakeholders. The shining village program includes activities in the fields of prevention, eradication, community empowerment and rehabilitation. To find out the running of the Kelurahan Bersinar program, it is necessary to evaluate the community education program. The evaluation of community education programs used is the Context, Input, Process, Produkct (CIPP) program evaluation model.

Abstract

There are still many issues with Indonesia's educational system, such as underprivileged individuals who are illiterate. According to information from the Ministry of Education and Culture, 6,007,486 persons in Indonesia were illiterate in 2014. By taking a closer look at these issues, the community has stepped up the execution of literacy instruction initiatives in an effort to raise Indonesia's literacy level. PKBM Bina Cipta Ujung Berung is one of the non-formal educational institutions that administers this pre-literacy education program. The CIPP approach is the one applied in this evaluation. The findings demonstrate that the language used in the current literacy education program at PKBM Bina Cipta Ujung Berung has considered the specific needs of pupils in the region who are trying to overcome social and economic issues that exist in society. In addition, PKBM Bina Cipta Ujung Berung also has sufficient resources to support literacy education programs and the process of implementing literacy education programs at PKBM Bina Cipta Ujung Berung is going very well with results that can be seen from the increased level of students' literacy. the long-term impact on this program needs to be continuously monitored and evaluated to ensure the sustainability of the results achieved. Abstract

This research is aimed to: (1) Examining the feasibility of parental involvement monitoring book in early childhood preliteracy’s development, (3) Measuring the effectiveness of the use of involvement monitoring book in early childhood preliteracy’s development. This research was using the experimental under ADDIE research and development model approach with quantitative methodh. The feasibility test was conducted using the Likert Scale. In the meantime, the effectiveness test was analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test, t-test with a significance level of 0.05 and the N-Gain test. The results of the development research show: (1) monitoring books of parental involvement in early childhood development met the criteria of "highly feasible" with a score range of  74 ≥ 68.25 by media experts, 53 ≥ 48.75 by linguists, 398 by parents, and 104 by teachers; (2) the results of the effectiveness test using the N- Gain test analysis obtained a result  of 0.334 on the aspect of parental involvement in children's preliteracy’s activities at home with the criteria of "enough effective", while in the aspect of preliteracy’s development the child obtained a score of 0.40 with the criteria of "enough effective".
