Abstract

Low academic readiness and limited interest in pursuing higher education remain significant challenges among high school students in Malaka Regency, a border area in East Nusa Tenggara Province. This community service program aimed to strengthen students’ academic literacy and college preparedness through academic literacy training, career guidance, and interest–aptitude assessments based on Holland's RIASEC theory. The implementation involved needs assessment, contextual material development, interactive workshops, simulated college learning experiences, and evaluation using pre- and post-tests. Post-test results indicated a substantial improvement across all indicators, including understanding of the higher education system, academic reading skills, basic academic writing, career awareness, and students’ confidence to pursue college. Active student participation reflected the program's relevance and applicability to their context. Overall, the program had a positive impact on students’ knowledge, motivation, and ability to plan their academic future based on personal strengths and interests. Therefore, this initiative can be recommended as a replicable educational intervention model to support higher education access in other underdeveloped regions.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of the school environment on students’ independent learning, with self-efficacy and metacognitive skills functioning as sequential mediators among senior high school students in Malaka Regency. Employing an explanatory survey design, data were collected from Grade XI students across six purposively selected schools representing twelve districts. The structured questionnaire comprised 41 items measured on a 5-point Likert scale and assessed four constructs: school environment, self-efficacy, metacognitive skills, and independent learning. Data analysis was conducted using the PROCESS Macro (Model 6) in SPSS 23. The results indicate that the school environment has a significant effect on self-efficacy (β = 0.2137, p = 0.0017) and independent learning (β = 0.1794, p = 0.0066), whereas its influence on metacognitive skills is not significant (β = −0.0241, p = 0.7542). Additionally, self-efficacy does not significantly affect metacognitive skills (β = 0.1354, p = 0.0731) or independent learning (β = −0.0125, p = 0.8468). In contrast, metacognitive skills exert a significant positive influence on independent learning (β = 0.2365, p = 0.0001). The total effect of the school environment on independent learning remains significant (β = 0.1779, p = 0.0077), although the indirect effects through the mediating variables are not statistically significant. These findings suggest that a supportive and well-structured school environment directly enhances students’ independent learning more effectively than indirect psychological pathways. It is recommended that educational institutions further strengthen their learning environments and incorporate metacognitive skill development to promote students’ self-regulation and autonomy.

Abstract

Waste management remains a significant environmental challenge in Oesapa Barat Village, Kota Kupang, where proper handling systems and community awareness have not kept pace with the annual increase in waste volume. Low participation in waste sorting and the absence of structured waste utilization have contributed to environmental degradation. This community engagement program aimed to enhance public awareness and skills in managing organic waste through educational activities and hands-on training. The program was delivered using presentations, group discussions, demonstrations, and direct practice on transforming organic waste into compost and maggot feed as part of a circular economy model. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding of waste impacts, the benefits of organic recycling, and the economic opportunities from maggot cultivation. Approximately 70% of participants expressed willingness to apply simple waste-processing techniques at home. These findings suggest that education-based interventions are effective in encouraging community participation and behavioral change toward sustainable waste management. This program is expected to initiate long-term ecological awareness and inspire independent waste management practices at the household and community levels. Therefore, the activity serves as both a preventive and practical model for organic waste management in local environments.

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan yang belum optimal menjadi tantangan bagi PCP Express Cabang Kupang dalam mempertahankan kepuasan pelanggan di tengah meningkatnya persaingan industri logistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lima dimensi kualitas pelayananbukti fisik, keandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, dan empati terhadap kepuasan konsumen, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 63 konsumen yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima dimensi kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, baik secara parsial maupun simultan (F = 9,230; Sig. = 0,000). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kualitas pelayanan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kepuasan pelanggan, terutama pada konteks layanan logistik di wilayah timur Indonesia. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian merekomendasikan agar PCP Express meningkatkan aspek jaminan dan keandalan sebagai faktor yang paling menentukan persepsi pelanggan. Secara akademis, penelitian ini memperkaya literatur mengenai kualitas pelayanan jasa pengiriman pada konteks geografis yang masih jarang diteliti.

Abstract

Dalam bidang pendidikan, penguatan nilai kejujuran dan integritas akademik menjadi aspek yang sangat fundamental. Meskipun demikian, institusi pendidikan masih menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam penerapannya. Salah satu permasalahan utama yang muncul adalah kecurangan akademik. Kecurangan akademik merupakan permasalahan signifikan yang dihadapi oleh berbagai institusi pendidikan, karena berpotensi menurunkan mutu proses pembelajaran serta melemahkan kredibilitas capaian akademik.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan guna untuk mengkaji tingkat signifikansi teman sebaya dan motivasi belajar terhadap kecurangan akademik baik secara individual maupun kolektif. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluru survei mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Negeri yang ada di kota Kupang dengan sampel sebanyak 65 responden yang ditentukan melalui probability sampling menggunakan teknik sample random sampling berdasarkan insidental. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang memuat 26 butir pernyataan, yang sebelumnya telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 27. Dimana data yang diolah telah memenuhi syarat asumsi klasik. Selanjutnya keseluruhan data diolah menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda yang dilengkapi dengan uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa teman sebaya berpengaruh positif 0,411 dan signifikan pada 0,004 terhadap kecurangan akademik. Sedangkan motivasi belajar berpengaruh tidak positif -0,059 dan tidak signifikan pada 0,623.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kreativitas dan penggunaan media sosial terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa laki-laki Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Nusa Cendana, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 52 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha, sedangkan penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan, kreativitas dan penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha, dengan penggunaan media sosial sebagai variabel yang paling dominan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa optimalisasi pemanfaatan media sosial berperan penting dalam meningkatkan minat berwirausaha mahasiswa di era ekonomi digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh word of mouth dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian handphone Samsung. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan incidental sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 55 mahasiswa pengguna handphone Samsung. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa word of mouth berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,600 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000. Sementara itu, kualitas produk menunjukkan pengaruh negatif namun signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai koefisien sebesar −0,457 dan signifikansi 0,005. Secara simultan, word of mouth dan kualitas produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 12,935 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa rekomendasi antar konsumen serta persepsi terhadap kinerja, fitur, dan keandalan produk berperan penting dalam membentuk keputusan pembelian. Oleh karena itu, word of mouth dan kualitas produk merupakan faktor strategis yang perlu diperhatikan perusahaan dalam upaya meningkatkan keputusan pembelian handphone Samsung.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the world’s largest coffee producers, with high sales volumes and a wide variety of coffee types. However, despite this strong consumption, dissatisfaction remains in several aspects of processed coffee sales. This situation indicates the need for appropriate strategies to maintain consumer satisfaction. The high sales of coffee also reflect a positive interaction between supply and demand, demonstrating diverse consumer responses to coffee products as well as the factors influencing purchasing decisions. Based on this, the present study examines how the marketing mix influences consumer satisfaction in coffee purchases, specifically at Mane Coffee. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method with 120 respondents obtained through incidental sampling. The research instrument consisted of 35 statements that passed validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, which was considered appropriate as the data met the requirements of the classical assumption test. The results revealed that the variables of product, price, place, and promotion have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. These findings highlight the crucial role of the marketing mix in enhancing consumer satisfaction within the coffee industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh uang saku dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku menabung mahasiswa PTN di Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi penelitian meliputi mahasiswa dari lima PTN di Kota Kupang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non-probability sampling melalui teknik insidental. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner telah diuji validitasnya. Data yang memenuhi uji asumsi klasik dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uang saku berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku menabung mahasiswa, demikian pula kontrol diri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan, uang saku dan kontrol diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku menabung. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan uang saku yang baik serta kontrol diri yang kuat memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku menabung mahasiswa di tengah kemudahan transaksi digital.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the Internet has provided convenience for many parties to market products through online media. However, several factors continue to influence consumers’ choices when shopping online. Therefore, this study focuses on examining consumer behavior in making purchases, considering consumer reviews and free shipping. The objective of this study was to understand how each element affects purchasing decisions in the Shopee online marketplace, both partially and simultaneously. The approach used was survey-based and quantitative. The population of this study comprised all 485 students of the Economics Education program at Undana, with a sample of 220 respondents determined through probability sampling using a simple random sampling technique based on Slovin’s formula. A questionnaire containing 24 statements that had undergone validity and reliability tests was used as the research instrument. With the assistance of SPSS version 27, the data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, complemented by t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that online consumer reviews and free shipping have a positive and significant impact on consumers’ purchasing decisions. With an F-value of 169.693 and a significance level of 0.000, these two factors also have a significant combined effect. The results show that these elements significantly influence the purchasing decisions of Economics Education students at Universitas Nusa Cendana on Shopee e-commerce platforms.
