Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis karakteristik campuran aspal AC-BC yang menggunakan material abu batu dari Bastem. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen tentang penelitian pengaruh penggunaan agregat abu batu gunung Bastem terhadap campuran aspal AC-BC. Abu batu diperoleh dari desa Bonglo Kec.Bastem Utara, Kabupaten Luwu. Setelah dilakukan variasi kadar aspal dari 5,0% hingga 7,0%, diperoleh kadar aspal optimum (KAO) sebesar 6,75%, yang menunjukkan hasil terbaik terhadap nilai-nilai parameter Marshall. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pengujian terhadap beberapa variasi campuran Abu batu Bastem. Campuran dengan komposisi 0%,25%,50%75%,100% terbukti memberikan nilai stabilitas tertinggi 913,761 kg dan MQ sebesar 406,942 kg/mm, serta memenuhi seluruh persyaratan Bina Marga 2018. Hasil pengujian agregat yang dilakukan di dapatkan karakteristik agregat terhadap campuran lapis perkerasan Laston AC-BC semuanya memenuhi spesifikasi SNI 2018, pemeriksaan yang dilakukan terdiri dari Analisa saringan, berat isi, berat jenis dan penyerapan. This study aims to identify and analyze the characteristics of AC-BC asphalt mixes using stone ash material from Bastem. The type of research conducted is quantitative with an experimental method on the study of the effect of using Bastem mountain rock ash aggregates on the AC-BC asphalt mixture. Rock ash was obtained from Bonglo village, North Bastem District, Luwu Regency. After varying the asphalt content from 5.0% to 7.0%, the optimum asphalt content (KAO) was 6.75%, which showed the best results for the Marshall parameter values. Furthermore, testing was carried out on several variations of the Bastem rock ash mixture. The mixture with a composition of 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% is proven to provide the highest stability value of 913.761 kg and MQ of 406.942 kg / mm, and meets all the requirements of Bina Marga 2018. The results of the aggregate testing carried out obtained aggregate characteristics for the Laston AC-BC pavement mixture all meet the SNI 2018 specifications where the examinations carried out consist of sieve analysis, unit weight, specific gravity and absorption.
