Abstract

Abstract

Teacher performance management through the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) requires teachers to plan work-result targets, implement professional development activities, and upload evidence of performance in a documented manner. This community service article aims to describe the mentoring process for fulfilling teachers' Work Result Plans (RHK), strengthening school-based learning communities, and facilitating the upload of performance evidence at SDN Sonraen, Amarasi Selatan, Kupang Regency. The activity used a participatory mentoring method conducted in four sessions from October 2024 to January 2025. Data were collected through attendance records, observation notes, PMM access monitoring, documentation of community-of-practice activities, and recapitulation of teacher performance predicates. The mentoring stages included identification of PMM access, assistance in selecting RHK indicators, facilitation of learning-community activities, upload of performance evidence, and final evaluation. The results show that eight teachers fulfilled RHK requirements with a 100% achievement rate. Two teachers obtained the Excellent predicate and six teachers obtained the Good predicate. The learning community also produced good-practice sharing on teaching modules, clinical supervision, and coconut-based learning media. The program indicates that structured mentoring supported by principal leadership and collegial collaboration can improve teacher readiness in using digital performance-management systems.

Abstract

This study was conducted in response to low learning outcomes and limited student engagement in Pancasila Education, primarily due to teacher-centered instructional practices that provided few opportunities to connect learning with real-life experiences. In the pre-cycle stage, only 8 of 24 students (33.33%) achieved the minimum learning mastery criterion of 75. This study aimed to improve learning outcomes through the implementation of a Contextual Learning Approach in teaching Cultural Diversity in East Nusa Tenggara Province. A two-cycle Classroom Action Research design was employed, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 24 fifth-grade students (12 boys and 12 girls). Data were collected through observations, learning achievement tests, and documentation. The findings revealed consistent improvement across the two cycles. Learning mastery increased from 33.33% in the pre-cycle to 41.67% in Cycle I and reached 100% in Cycle II, while the average score improved from 63.92 to 87.04. Teacher and student learning activities also increased substantially. These findings demonstrate that the CTL Approach effectively promotes student engagement, conceptual understanding, and learning outcomes. Furthermore, integrating authentic learning experiences contributes to more meaningful learning and provides a practical strategy for enhancing the quality of Pancasila Education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in science and social studies (IPAS) learning on the topic of animal life cycles in Class III C at UPTD SD Negeri Balfai. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 20 students, consisting of 6 boys and 14 girls. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods based on average scores and the percentage of learning mastery. The results showed that the implementation of the PBL model gradually improved students’ learning outcomes. The average score increased from 67.05 in the pretest to 71.75 in Cycle I and further increased to 85.5 in Cycle II. The percentage of learning mastery also improved from 45% in the initial stage to 60% in Cycle I and reached 90% in Cycle II. In addition, students’ learning activities improved from the fair category to the very good category. Therefore, the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model proved effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes on the topic of animal life cycles in Class III C at UPTD SD Negeri Balfai.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes on the food chain topic through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model for fifth-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Tarus 1. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 24 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, learning achievement tests, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The pre-cycle results showed that only 8 students (33%) achieved the Minimum Learning Mastery Criteria (KKTP), while 16 students (67%) did not achieve mastery. After the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model, the percentage of students achieving learning mastery increased to 92% in Cycle II, with an average learning outcome score of 83.54. Teacher activity also improved from 74.22 in Cycle I to 96.09 in Cycle II, while student activity increased from 44.77 to 81.43.
