Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of the Indonesian Standard Quick Response Code (QRIS) digital payment on the purchasing interest of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University, class of 2021. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive verification method. Primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 86 respondents selected using simple random sampling from a total population of 639 students from the Departments of Economics, Management, Accounting, and Economics Education. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 21. The results showed that the use of QRIS digital payments has a positive and significant effect on student purchasing interest. This is evidenced by the t-value of 9.677, which is greater than the t-table of 1.988, and the significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of 0.527 indicates that 52.7% of the variability in students' purchasing interest can be explained by the use of QRIS digital payments, while the remaining 47.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that the better the use of QRIS digital payments, the higher the students' purchasing interest. Optimal use of QRIS can be an effective strategy in increasing purchasing interest among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internal and external factors of MSMEs on environmentally friendly MSME activities, both partially and simultaneously, in Kota Barat District, Gorontalo City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method through a survey. The data used are primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to MSME actors, and supported by research documentation. The study population amounted to 1,952 MSME units operating in the culinary, fashion, service, and transportation sectors. Sampling was carried out using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique so that 96 respondents were obtained spread across seven sub-districts, namely Dembe I, Lekobalo, Pilolodaa, Buliide, Tenilo, Molosipat W, and Buladu. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that internal factors of MSMEs have a positive and significant effect on environmentally friendly MSME activities. In addition, external factors of MSMEs also have a positive and significant effect on environmentally friendly MSME activities. Simultaneously, internal and external factors of MSMEs were shown to significantly influence the activities of environmentally friendly MSMEs in Kota Barat District. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.949 indicates that 94.9% of the variation in environmentally friendly MSME activities can be explained by internal and external factors, while 5.1% is influenced by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the increase in students' environmental care attitudes and what factors affect the success of the task method in improving students' environmental care attitudes. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, with. Data collection in this study used interview and documentation guidesheets. The research subjects consisted of 2 people as key informants and 4 people as supporting informants. Each of them is the principal, social studies teacher and students of SMPN 1 Anggrek. The results of this research based on the results of interviews are an increase in the attitude of caring for the environment in the method of assigning tasks. The assignment method is a method that presents materials when the teacher gives certain tasks that aim to make students carry out learning activities. The method of assigning assignments is not the only method in improving students' environmental care attitudes, so their success is influenced by several factors including; student interests, school policies on the environment and the role of teachers. In conclusion, the role factor of teachers is the most needed: where teachers have an important role in shaping the character of caring for the environment. The example of the teacher is very influential, when the teacher shows environmentally friendly behavior, students tend to follow the example. Even without assigning assignments, teachers must also be an example of how to care for the environment, so that it will build awareness for students to always care about their environment In addition, as a teacher, they must have creativity, especially in using the method of assigning assignments.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Inquiry Learning Model combined with the Respect Education approach on the achievement of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of eighth-grade students in the Integrated Social Sciences subject at SMP Negeri 1 Tilamuta. The study employed a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 65 students. The results indicate that students who were taught using the Inquiry Learning Model showed greater improvement in HOTS achievement compared to those who received Expository Learning Model instruction in the Integrated Social Sciences subject for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Tilamuta. This finding is supported by the results of a paired sample t-test, which revealed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 (P < 0.05), confirming a significant difference between the control and experimental groups. Therefore, the inquiry-based learning model, which emphasizes exploration and student autonomy, combined with the Respect Education approach that highlights appreciation of students' potential, is proven effective in improving Higher Order Thinking Skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the role of product and service quality in influencing consumer decisions to make purchases at Karsa Utama. This study applies a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through surveys. Data processing was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of statistical software. The results of the analysis show that both product quality and service quality have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Partially, product quality has an effect of 39.6% and service quality of 26.3%. Simultaneously, the two independent variables contributed 65.9% to consumer purchasing decisions, while 34.1% was influenced by other factors outside this study. This finding indicates that improving product and service quality can directly encourage consumers' tendency to make purchasing decisions.
