The low enthusiasm and active participation of students due to the dominance of rigid normative learning is the background of this research activity. These operational problems trigger acute boredom and weakening of students' self-confidence in responding to instructions in the subject of Economics. The main focus of this scientific study is to analyze in depth the level of effectiveness of teachers' teaching skills strategies in boosting the learning motivation of grade XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Limboto. The steps of this descriptive qualitative research are operated through snowball sampling of informants involving subject teachers and a number of students. The primary field data collection procedure is collected through participant observation techniques, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies, which are then analyzed interactively including the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing sociological conclusions. Qualitative findings reveal that the implementation of pedagogical skills through the creation of ice-breaking activities, providing verbal-nonverbal reinforcement, and the application of problem-based learning methods has proven to be very reliable in breaking the ice of interactions in the classroom. Providing constructive feedback and humanistic classroom management also significantly foster students' independence and intellectual responsibility. The main conclusion confirms that optimizing a variety of teaching skills successfully transforms classrooms into dynamic, communicative, and enjoyable learning ecosystems. Secondary education practitioners are recommended to consistently improve instructional innovation to maintain the intrinsic motivation of the younger generation in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. ABSTRAK Rendahnya antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif siswa akibat dominasi pembelajaran normatif yang kaku melatarbelakangi kegiatan penelitian ini. Masalah operasional tersebut memicu kejenuhan akut serta melemahnya kepercayaan diri peserta didik dalam merespons instruksi pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi. Fokus utama kajian ilmiah ini adalah menganalisis secara mendalam tingkat efektivitas strategi keterampilan mengajar guru dalam mendongkrak motivasi belajar siswa kelas XII di SMA Negeri 2 Limboto. Langkah-langkah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini dioperasikan melalui penarikan informan secara snowball sampling yang melibatkan guru mata pelajaran dan sejumlah siswa. Prosedur pengumpulan data primer lapangan dihimpun lewat teknik observasi partisipan, wawancara semi-terstruktur, serta studi dokumentasi, yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara interaktif meliputi tahap reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan sosiologis. Temuan kualitatif menyingkap bahwa implementasi keterampilan pedagogik melalui penciptaan kegiatan ice breaking, pemberian reinforcement verbal-nonverbal, serta penerapan metode problem-based learning terbukti sangat andal memecah kebekuan interaksi di dalam kelas. Pemberian umpan balik yang konstruktif dan pengelolaan kelas yang humanis juga secara signifikan menumbuhkan kemandirian serta tanggung jawab intelektual siswa. Simpulan utama menegaskan bahwa optimalisasi variasi keterampilan mengajar sukses mentransformasikan ruang kelas belajar menjadi ekosistem yang dinamis, komunikatif, dan menyenangkan. Praktisi pendidikan tingkat menengah direkomendasikan secara konsisten meningkatkan inovasi instruksional guna memelihara motivasi intrinsik generasi muda secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga dan lokasi usaha terhadap volume penjualan Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) di Kawasan Kampus 1 Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 40 responden yang merupakan pedagang kaki lima di kawasan tersebut. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistics versi 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume penjualan, dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 6,346 > ttabel 2,028 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Lokasi usaha juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume penjualan dengan nilai thitung sebesar 9,189 > ttabel 2,028 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan, harga dan lokasi usaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume penjualan dengan nilai Fhitung sebesar 76,672 > Ftabel 4,11. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,806 menunjukkan bahwa harga dan lokasi usaha mampu menjelaskan volume penjualan sebesar 80,6%, sedangkan 19,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the Theory of Planned Behavior and Financial Literacy on the Intensity of E-Wallet Usage among university students. This research employs a quantitative method. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 88 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Gorontalo State University and analyzed using SPSS version 25 by conducting validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and F-test. The results show that: (1) the Theory of Planned Behavior has a positive and significant effect on the Intensity of E-Wallet Usage, (2) Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on the Intensity of E-Wallet Usage, and (3) both variables simultaneously exert a significant influence. These findings indicate that behavior in using e-wallets is influenced by psychological elements and financial literacy skills Both factors play a crucial role in shaping smart, effective, and responsible digital financial behavior in today's era.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI B SMA negeri 1 Suwawa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam pelajaran ekonomi. Metode penelitin ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I menunjukan kategori “cukup aktif” dan siklus II menunjukan kategori “aktif”. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa Siklus I Sebesar 53,3% dan Siklus II Mencapai 90%, Meningkat Sebesar 36,7%.

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy on the personal financial management of the 2024 cohort of students in the Department of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The study employed a quantitative approach using an associative research method. The population consisted of 184 students, with a sample of 65 respondents selected through simple random sampling using the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS software. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on students' personal financial management. This is evidenced by a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.781, indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.610, meaning that 61% of the variation in students' personal financial management is explained by financial literacy, while the remaining 39% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. The hypothesis testing results show that the calculated t-value exceeds the critical t-value (9.930 1.999) at a significance level of α = 5%, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05. Therefore, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. It can be concluded that the higher the level of students' financial literacy, the better their ability to manage their personal finances.

This study aims to examine the relationship between communication skills and students’ learning activities in Social Studies for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Paguyaman. The research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive correlational design. The population of this study consisted of all eighth-grade students, with a sample of 30 students selected based on appropriate sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Simple linear regression analysis was applied to analyze the relationship between communication skills and students’ learning activities. The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between communication skills and learning activities in Social Studies. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.05. These findings suggest that better communication skills contribute to higher levels of student learning activity during the instructional process. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of 0.458 indicates that communication skills account for 45.8% of the variance in students’ learning activities, while the remaining 54.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, enhancing students’ communication skills is essential in fostering active learning in Social Studies classrooms.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pengembangan Pariwisata Pantai Itoduti Terhadap Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Desa Biluhu Timur, Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tekhnik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner/angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 300 orang. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Pengembangan Pariwisata Pantai Itoduti Terhadap Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Desa Biluhu Timur, Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari nilai R Square sebesar 0,273. Nilai ini berarti bahwa sebesar 27,3% variabilitas mengenai Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Desa Biluhu Timur, Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai, Kabupaten Gorontalo dapat diterangkan oleh variabel Pengembangan Pariwisata, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 72,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of learning motivation on students' learning independence at SMP Negeri 3 Satap Kabila. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The sample used in this study was 30 students with a total sampling technique. The results of the study showed that the simple linear regression test resulted in the equation Ý 53.782 +0.586X, with a constant score of 53.782 and a coefficient of 0.586. This indicates that the direction of the influence of variable X on variable Y is positive, and the sig. of 0.000 0.05 means that learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on student learning independence at SMP Negeri 3 Satap Kabila. The regression coefficient of 0.586 indicates that a one-unit increase in learning motivation leads to an increase of 0.586 or 58% in learning independence. The coefficient of determination obtained before was 0.534, meaning that 53.4% of the variability in student learning independence at SMPN 3 Satap Kabila Bone can be explained by the learning motivation variable. Meanwhile, the remaining 46.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Reviewing student understanding can be done through the diagnostic assessment process. However, many teachers have difficulty in conducting assessments. Based on the results of the theoretical study, Rasch Model Analysis can make it easier for teachers to conduct diagnostic assessments. Rasch model analysis can be used to measure the effectiveness of items on test instruments, the level of ability of respondents, and detecting differences in ability and item bias. For those reason, researchers conducted a diagnostic assessment to 330 students in 10th grade from three different High Schools in Gorontalo City. The test results processed and analyzed using Rasch modeling. The results was described in this study with a Quantitative Descriptive approach. The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the test instrument in the diagnostic assessment process, the level of student understanding, and to determine whether there are differences in ability based on gender and school category. This research found that: 1) the test instrument has good validity and reliability; 2) Students' concept understanding ability was divided into: 6% very high, 25% high, 29% medium, 25% low and 15% very low. 3) There was a significant difference between students' understanding based on school origin criteria. The findings of this research are expected to serve as recommendations for future teachers and educational practitioners to integrate diagnostic measurement with the Rasch model in evaluating student understanding.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Meskipun berbagai penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan efektivitas PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, masih terdapat gap penelitian terkait penerapannya secara spesifik pada konteks pembelajaran Ekonomi di tingkat SMA, khususnya pada materi Industri Keuangan Non Bank (IKNB), serta keterbatasan studi yang menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional untuk mengukur besaran pengaruh secara empiris. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei korelasional, yang bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan dan pengaruh antara variabel tanpa melakukan manipulasi. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 123 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 56 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dengan nilai t-hitung 7,949 > t-tabel 2,004 dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 53,9%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 53,9% variabilitas kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dipengaruhi oleh penerapan PBL, sedangkan sisanya 46,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Dengan demikian, semakin baik penerapan PBL, semakin tinggi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Although various previous studies have shown the effectiveness of PBL in improving critical thinking skills, there is still a research gap related to its specific application in the context of Economics learning at the high school level, especially in the Non-Bank Financial Industry (IKNB) material, as well as limitations of studies that use quantitative correlational designs to measure the magnitude of the effect empirically. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design, which aims to test the relationship and influence between variables without manipulation. The study population was 123 students with a sample of 56 respondents selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 21.0. The results showed that PBL has a positive and significant influence on students' critical thinking skills, with a calculated t-value of 7.949 > t-table 2.004 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 53.9%. This indicates that 53.9% of the variability in students' critical thinking skills is influenced by the implementation of PBL, while the remaining 46.1% is influenced by other variables not examined. Therefore, the better the implementation of PBL, the higher the students' critical thinking skills.
