Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan kognitif dan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada peserta didik kelas V SDN Serang 3, dengan fokus pada materi bilangan bulat dan desimal. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya kemampuan matematika dalam pendidikan dasar dan potensi pengaruh kemampuan kognitif terhadap prestasi matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 40 peserta didik kelas V. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik inferensial, termasuk uji korelasi dan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan sangat kuat antara kemampuan kognitif dan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Analisis regresi sederhana juga menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kedua variabel. Temuan ini mengkonfirmasi adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan kognitif dan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada peserta didik. Semakin tinggi kemampuan kognitif siswa, semakin baik pula kemampuan mereka dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Hasil ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pengembangan kemampuan kognitif dalam upaya meningkatkan prestasi matematika siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kemampuan numerasi matematika merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan matematika yang memungkinkan siswa untuk memahami, menerapkan, dan mengomunikasikan konsep matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, masih banyak tantangan yang dihadapi siswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan numerasi matematika yang baik. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) terhadap keterampilan numerasi matematika siswa kelas IV SD Baketor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 20 siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dan kelas kontrol terdiri dari 20 siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes kemampuan numerasi matematika yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya diskriminatifnya. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t. Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen dari 36,6 menjadi 70,5. Uji inferensial (uji-t sampel independen) menghasilkan t = 8,087 > t = 2,024 (α = 0,05). Hasil menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan numerasi matematika antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) memiliki kemampuan numerasi yang lebih baik. Abstract

This article describes the implementation of online learning to achieve qualified education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 at SD Cendekia Islamic School. It also includes the description process of the implementation of online learning conducted by teachers and the result description achieved by students during online learning. Online learning is applied based on Kemendikbud’s Circular Letter No. 4 in 2O2O regarding the Implementation of Education Policiesthat one of which states that learning from home during the emergency spread pandemic of Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is applied by following the protocol rules for COVID-19, which requires to make learning at home. Hence, teachers and students should follow online learning. Online learning is learning that is implemented through technology as media. Yet, lessons learned from the implementation of online learning are the orientation of teaching and learning quality in the industrial revolution 4.0. In this era, technological developments are developing rapidly so itproduces a shift of paradigm on how to make complex and varied learning from humans. It, of course, is indicated that students should understand and be able to develop the use of technology in daily life, especially in online learning. And it is also affiliated on qualified education achievement with the abilities and skills that students must have in this digital era, industrial revolution 4.0. The qualities of education are to apply character education, literacy, and 4C (critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration). The approach conducted in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. During the research process, the researcher tried to describe all events and phenomena that occurred, especially events that are related to the objectives, and only focused on the research topics.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to provide an overview of the implementationof online distance learning during the pandemic at grade 4-C of elementary school. Learning before the pandemic was certainly different from learning during the pandemic since the SARS-CoV-2 virus was transmitted and caused Covid (Coronavirus Disease). Therefore, schools needed to adjust the learning implementation, such as changing the interactions and learning methods. The method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method and the data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that teachers carried out learning activities starting from preparing the Lesson Plan (RPP), learning media (videos), and learning resources such as textbooks and Student Worksheets (LKS). During the implementation of online distance learning, the teacher carried out preliminary activities such as praying, asking students' readiness, and apperception, then, continuing to the core activities in which the teacher delivered the material by using standard language, the learning resources, and doing question and answer with students. Then, during the assessment, the teacher assessed students' spiritual and social attitudes through learning via Google Meet, assessed students’ knowledge using Google Forms, and conducted skills assessments in the form of product assessments and practice assessments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the planning of educators, the learning process and the results of the implementation of the CTL approach in the subject of science in supporting critical thinking skills of grade IV students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations and documentation, with the principal, educators, and students, as well as conducting a literature review. The results obtained in this study are that the planning of science learning is carried out by determining CP, TP & ATP, and compiling teaching modules that are in accordance with the characteristics of the material being studied. The learning process runs conducively, is centered on students and involves students to play an active role. Based on the results of the study, the CTL approach to science learning is able to support the development of critical thinking skills of grade IV students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bahwa pembelajaran matematika di sekolah belum memberikan ruang pada siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis sehingga siswa tidak terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi REACT dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi yang diteliti adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Sempu 2 Kota Serang. Sedangkan sampelnya menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IV A sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes dan non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan strategi REACT dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan strategi Cooperative Learning dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan strategi REACT lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan strategi Cooperative Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas media pembelajaran ular tangga dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas VI SDN Cipocok Jaya 2. Keaktifan belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, namun masih banyak peserta didik yang kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran, terutama dalam mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara dengan guru serta melibatkan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran berbasis permainan menggunakan media ular tangga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran ular tangga efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Indikator efektivitas terlihat dari meningkatnya motivasi dan antusiasme peserta didik, partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi serta pemecahan masalah, peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika, serta perubahan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berbasis permainan seperti ular tangga dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan interaktif bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Some fourth-grade elementary school students have significant difficulty in understanding the concept of fractions, including distinguishing between numerators and denominators. The limitations of innovative learning media and minimal school facilities, combined with monotonous teaching methods, result in low interest and mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to identify the development process of puzzle media for fractions, determine the feasibility of the developed puzzle media and analyze students responses after using puzzle media in fractional learning. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of the study showed that puzzle media was effective in improving students understanding of fraction concepts and learning interests and puzzle larning media proved to be an effective solution to overcome difficulties in understanding fractional concepts for fourth-grade elementary school students.
