Abstract

Education plays an important role in the process of improving human resources (HR). Human resources are the factors that have the biggest role in achieving organizational goals effectively and efficiently. This research aims to determine the effect of principal's leadership and teacher commitment on teacher performance with organizational culture as the mediating variable for public high school teachers in Kudus Regency. The sampling technique used is proportionate random sampling with a total sample of 207 teachers taken from seven public schools in Kudus Regency. Data analysis employes path analysis with the help of AMOS 24.0 program. Questionnaire is used as the instrument of data collection. The results show that principal's leadership and teacher commitment directly affect organizational culture; principal's leadership and organizational culture affect teacher performance; teacher commitment does not affect teacher performance; and principal's leadership affects teacher commitment. As for the indirect effect, organizational culture is able to mediate the effect of principals' leadership on teacher performance, while organizational culture is not able to mediate the effect of teacher commitment on teacher performance.

Abstract

This research was designed as a case study conducted by collecting data from Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren) Raudlatut Tholibin Leteh and Al-Anwar Sarang. Based on the data from both sites, the analysis was conducted to understand the differences and similarities of both cases as the basis for determining the characteristics of cultural development and typology, the role, the characteristics of kiai's charismatic leadership in building the pesantren organization culture. The result of the study shows that the organizational culture developed at Pesantren Raudlatut Tholibin Leteh includes (1) daily activities, such as praying in congregation, studying the Qur'an, following the pesantren-madrasah, regular and sorogan recitation, and learning; (2) weekly activities include speech training, sorogan Fiqh, Alfiyah study, Fiqh deliberation, tahlil, maulid or manaqib reading, sorogan nahwu, gymnastics, and English lessons; (3) annual activities, among other things, include the Muharram, Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha celebrations. The organizational culture developed in Pesantren Al-Anwar includes (1) daily activities of the male learners covering the Qur'an tadarus in each khos, Qur'an recitation, MGS & MHD school, mudzakaroh mahally, MGS afternoon consultation, study group, Ma'had Aly learning, MHD deliberation, Fathul Qorib deliberation, and Fathul Mu'in deliberation. The daily activities of female learners include Wirdil Lathif, Rothib Al Athos, and sholawat Masyisyiyah reading, as well as Qur'an recitation, fan Nahwu recitation, MPG deliberation, muhadloroh deliberation, Takhoshush learners recitation, teaching by KH. Maimoen Zubair, teaching by KH. Majid Kamil, fan fiqh study, 41 times Yasin reading, level discussion, and Fathul Qorib deliberation; (2) the weekly activities for male learners include muhafadhah, dziba'iyyah & khitobiyyah, and sorogan; female learners’ activities include recitation of Yasin fadhilah and Asmaul Husna, as well as Yasin and Burdah recitation, Dibaiyyah, tabligh (training of da'wah), Burdah training, math and English courses, muhafadhoh kubro, muhafadhoh tawajjuh (memorizing), Ta'limul Muta 'allim, and muroja'ah learning; (3) the annual activities include Muharram, Maulud, Ramadan, Idul Fitri, and Eid al-Adha celebrations.

Abstract

Student satisfaction is an important indicator of the quality of higher education and is a measure of the service quality of its customers. Student satisfaction with their educational institutions also depends on the situation of the campus environment created for the convenience of the students. The main objective of this study is to obtain empirical evidence regarding the impact of service quality, campus ecology, and self-efficacy on the satisfaction level of the students of ANAA Specialist Education Program, Diponegoro University (PPSA UNDIP) Semarang. The population of this study was 125 specialist students of UNDIP and the students were chosen to be selected as samples using random sampling techniques. Data was drawn using a questionnaire; the data were analyzed using the SPSS and the Lisrel 8.54 program. The results of the study show that (1) service quality significantly affected self-efficacy and student satisfaction; (2) campus ecology has a significant effect on self-efficacy of 75.69% and on student satisfaction by 43.56%; (3) service quality and campus ecology together have a significant effect on student self-efficacy; (4) service quality, campus ecology, and self-efficacy together also have a significant effect on the satisfaction of the students of PPDSA UNDIP Semarang. Service quality and campus ecology are antecedent variables of self-efficacy and the three variables are determinants of the satisfaction of the students at the institution.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh kompetensi siswa, pengetahuan mata diklat produktif, dukungan keluarga, pengalaman prakerin terhadap kesiapan kerja dengan self efficacy sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMK Kompetensi keahlian akuntansi Kota Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 200 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik cluster sampling. Metode pengumpulan data adalah angket dan tes. Metode analisis data adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur. Hasil: Kompetensi siswa tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja, Kompetensi siswa berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja melalui self efficacy, Pengetahuan mata diklat produktif tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja, Pengetahuan mata diklat produktif berpengaruh positif tidak langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja melalui self efficacy, Dukungan keluarga tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja, Dukungan keluarga berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja melalui self efficacy, Dukungan keluarga berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja melalui pengalaman prakerin, Pengalaman prakerin berpengaruh langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja, pengalaman prakerin berpengaruh positif tidak langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja melalui self efficacy, self efficacy berpengaruh positif langsung terhadap kesiapan kerja. Saran: Siswa hendaknya lebih meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan meningkatkan pengalaman dalam prakerin, Dunia usaha memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk prakerin, sekolah mengkondisikan sebagai tempat belajar yang nyaman.

Abstract

PSAK 45 merupakan standar pelaporan keuangan yayasan pendidikan sebagai organisasi nirlaba.Perkembangan pesat yayasan pendidikan di Kota Semarang menjadikan pentingnya pelaporan keuangan yayasan pendidikan sesuai PSAK 45 tetapi minimnya penerapan PSAK 45 masih menjadi kendala.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerimaan pengelola keuangan yayasan pendidikan terhadap PSAK 45 dengan analisis Technology Acceptance Model (TAM).Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini kurang lebih 240 responden dari 48 yayasan pendidikan di Kota Semarang dengan jumlah sampel 200 responden terdiri dari pengelola keuangan yayasan pendidikan.Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh kompetensi pengguna terhadap persepsi kemudahan, persepsi kegunaan, dan sikap penggu4aan; dukungan teknologi terhadap persepsi kegunaan; persepsi kemudahan terhadap persepsi kegunaan; persepsi kegunaan terhadap sikap penggunaan; persepsi kemudahan terhadap sikap penggunaan; persepsi kemudahan terhadap niat penggunaan; serta sikap penggunaan terhadap niat penggunaan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan bukti empiris dari perilaku mahasiswa bidikmisi dalam membeli buku kuliah.Dengan menggunakan pendekatan campuran stra egiembedded congruent, hasil analisis kuantitatif menemukan bahwa factor pribadi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi sekitar 26%. Faktor informasi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Faktor pribadi berpengaruh terhadap sikap berperilaku sekitar 24%. Faktor informasi berpengaruh terhadap control perilaku yang dipersepsi sekitar 23%. Sikap berperilaku berpengaruh terhadap niat sekitar 18%. Norma subjektif berpengaruh terhadap niat sebesar 19%. Kontrol perilaku yang dipersepsi berpengaruh terhadap niat.Niat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Kontrol perilaku yang dipersepsi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi sebesar 17%.Sikap berperilaku tidak berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Norma subjektif tidak berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Kontrol perilaku yang dipersepsi tidak berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Faktor pribadi tidak berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Faktor informasi berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Analisis kualitatif menemukan bahwa pengaruh paling besar mahasiswa bidikmisi melakukan atau tidak melakukan pembelian buku karena alasanp restasi. Hasil kualitatif sejalan dengan hasil analisis kuantitatif. Mahasiswa bidikmisi harus melakukan pembelian buku dengan lebih bijak agar dana beasiswa teralokasi dengan efisien. This research purpose is to analyze and find empirical evidence of Bidik Misi behavior in purchasing text books for their studies. By employing a mix method approach with embedded congruent strategy, quantitative result of this study found that personal factors influence behavior by 26% likewise. Information factor influence behavior. Personalfactors influence attitude toward behavior by 24% likewise. Information factors influence perceived behavioral control by 23% likewise. Attitude toward behavior influence intention by 18% likewise. Subjectif norms influence intention by 19%. Perceived behavioral controlinfluence intention. Intention influence behavior. Perceived behavioral control influence behavior by 17%. Attitude toward behavior influence behavior. Subjectif norms hasn’t indirect influence behavior. Perceived behavioral control hasn’t indirect influence behavior. Personal factors hasn’t indirect influence behavior. Information factors has indirect influence behavior. Qualitative analysis found that the most effect of Bidik Misi students do purchasing text books and do not purchasingtext books because achievement reason. Qualitative results in line with the results of quantitative. Students should be wiser in purchasing text books for their study to make sure that funding scholarship could be allocated efficiently.

Abstract

Economic growth refers to the development of a country's economic activity is causing the goods and services produced within the community to grow and increase the prosperity of the community in the long term. The economic growth is one of the indicators used to assess the success of development. In the actual economic activity, economic growth showed the physical economic development taking place in a country, such as increasing the number and production of industrial goods, development of infrastructure, increase the number of public facilities such as schools, hospitals, roads, development of manufacturing goods, and so on. In principle, not all of the negative impact of inflation on the economy. Especially in case of mild inflation are inflation below ten percent. The inflation rate is the annual percentage increase in the general price level as measured by the consumer price index. The relationship between economic growth and macroeconomic indicators has long been a popular issue of debate in the literature of economic development. In this content, the primary purpose of this research is to analyze macroeconomic indicators of Indonesia and economic growth using panel data approach. To compare with another countries in developing countries so will use Malaysia and Singapore. Also in this research will analyze the relationship between inflation and interest rate with economic growth because inflation and interest rate closely related to macro economy and economic growth in a country.

Abstract

Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) bertujuan untuk mewujudkan sebuah kawasan pasar bebas yang berdaya saing tinggi yang akan terintegrasi dengan perekonomian global. Salah satu kesepakatan yang disetujui dalam pasar bebas ini adalah kesepakatan dalam bidang jasa akuntansi yang tertuang dalam Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA). Untuk itu, peningkatan kompetensi bagi lulusan akuntansi harus dilaksanakan lebih intensif agar para akuntan dapat bersaing di tingkat regional dan internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kontribusi motivasi berprestasi, IPK, keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam PKL dan mata kuliah praktek dalam membangun kompetensi mahasiswa akuntansi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melakukan analisa pengaruh kausalitas antar variabel menggunakan alat analisis jalur (path analysis). Variabel motivasi berprestasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap IPK. Secara keseluruhan variabel motivasi berprestasi, IPK, keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam PKL dan mata kuliah praktek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi mahasiswa akuntansi UNNES. ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is aimed at establishing a free trade area with high competitiveness that will be integrated eith the global economy. One of the deal that is approved in the free market is an agreement in the field of accounting services that is contained in the Mutual Reconition Agreement (MRA). Therefore, improving the competence for accounting graduates should be implemented more intensively so that the accountants can compete at the regional and intenational levels. The purpose of this study was to analyze the contribution of achievement motivation, grade point average (GPA), student engagement in job training and courses in the practice of developing competence of accounting students. The research approach used in this study is a quatitative approach that analyze the influence of causality between variabels using a path analysis. Achievement motivation variabel did not affect the GPA. Overall the achievement motivation, GPA, student engagement in job training and courses in the practice have a significant effect on the competence of the state university of semarang accounting students.

Abstract

The educated unemployment in Indonesia caused by some factors such as the lack of knowledge and skill or soft skill as well as lack of job training so that the graduates become unemployment who do not have readiness to work. The purpose of the study is to know and analyze the influence of enterpreneurship knowledge, soft skill and job training to job readiness. The method used the survey, description, and correlation. Students of SMK Karya Bhakti grade eleventh. The sample of the research is 80 respondents by using proportional random sampling. The method of data collecting is by using quesionnaires. The data are analyzed by using linier regression. The result of the research shows that there is an influence of enterpreneurship knowledge to job readiness, partially obtained value of 6.484, the effect of soft skill on the job readiness is 1.498, and the influence of job training to job readiness partially obtained value of 2.205. simultaneously the influence of enterpreneurship knowledge, soft skill, job training on job readiness based on F test obtained value 17.330

Abstract

The rapid advance of global economy and the increasing diversity financial product and service types force every individuals to have a good financial literacy in order to achieve prosperous live. The purpose of this study is to identify student engagement contributions as a form of learning process for the development of financial literacy. Academic challenges, active learning, student-staff interaction, enriching education experiences, and supportive learning environments are used to measure student engagement in financial learning (SEFL). While financial knowledge, financial attitudes and financial behavior are used to measure financial literacy (FL). This study uses quantitative assessors. The population is 241 students while the sample size is 150 students. The number of samples is determined by using the Slovin formula, while the sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The data collection techniques used are tests and questionnaires. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, canonical correlation and regression. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis show that all SEFL factors possitive correlate with FL factors. Then the results of canonical correlation analysis show that the covariate of SEFL factors has a correlation with the canonical variable (FL). Furthermore, the results of the regression test (t-test) show that most of the SEFL factors have a significant contribution in developing students’ financial literacy.
