Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of children's fine motor skills that have not developed optimally, it can be seen that children are not able to coordinate hands and eyes when children are doing sticking activities. This study aims to prove the effect of sticking pencil shavings on fine motor skills of children in Kartika Kindergarten 1.61 Padang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study were all children at Kartika Kindergarten 1.61 Padang, while the sample for this study was class B1 as the experimental class and class B2 as the control class. Data collection techniques used tests in the form of statements of 4 statement items and data analysis techniques using normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests with the help of computerized SPSS 25. The results of the study show that the significant value of the experimental class and control class is > 0.05 and is stated to be normally distributed, then the variance of the N-gain data for the experimental class and control class is the same or homogeneous. Based on the table above, it is known that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 and stated <0.05. Thus it was concluded that there was an effect of sticking pencil shavings on fine motor skills of children in Kartika Kindergarten 1.61 Padang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much influence the modified Dore game has on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Aisyiyah 5 Padang Kindergarten. This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of a Quasi Experiment. The population of this study was 26 children at Aisyiyah 5 Padang Kindergarten. The sampling technique was Cluster Sampling for children in classes B4 and B5, each with a total of 13 children. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, data collection tools use statement sheets. The data was processed with a difference test (t-test) using the SPSS 25.0 application. Based on data analysis, the average pre-test and post-test scores for the experimental group were 17.92 and 22.31 respectively. In contrast, in the control group, the average pre-test and post-test scores were 17.46 and 20.77, respectively. In the independent sample t test, the sig (2-tailed) value was obtained, namely 0.175. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence in the modified dore game on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at the Aisyiyah 5 Padang Kindergarten for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This research originated from the fact that in Rajo Sulah PAUD Kerinci Regency tahat yaung children’s gross motor skills deloped optimally, children were unable to bend both legs and when jumping into a child’s activity were still not balanced. Lack of gross motoric devalopment activities of children in the learning process. School in developing development. Therefore this rabbit jumping game is thought to have an influence on the child’s motoric development. This study has an influence on the gross motor development of children. This study aims to determine the effect of rabbit jumping games on the gross motoric development of children in Rajo Sulah ECD Kerinci Regency. This type of researth is quantitative wiyh quasy experimental research menthods in the form of quasy experiments. Using the rabbit jumpng game affects the gross motoric development of children in Rajo Sulah ECD Kerinci Regency. Based on analysis, the average test results of the experimental proup were 84,89 and elementary school was 74,598 while in the control group there were 77,08 and elementary school at 67.274 in testing the hypothesis obtained tcount of 2.1764498 and ttable of 2.074 at the real leve α =0,05 and dk=22, it can be concluded that the rabbit jumping game proved to have a large influence on the gross motoric development of children in Rajo Sulah PAUD Kerinci Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tari kreasi Maumerre terharap kemampuan motorik kasar anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Nur Ilaahi Lubuk Buaya Kota Padang.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitia ini adalah seluruh anak Taman Kanak-kana Nur Ilaahi Lubuk Buaya Padang, dengan sampelnya yaitu kelas B4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B1sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing kelas  berjumlah 12 anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas,uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Untuk menguji kualitas instrumen penelitian dilakukan validasi dengan pakar ahli dan perhitungan statistik. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan teknik statistic T-test yang menunjukkan taraf signifikan 0,001. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan terhadap skor anak pre-test 222 dan post-test 408. Sedangkan rata-rata keseluruhan untuk pre-test 18,5 dan post-test 34. Dengan demikian penggunaan tari kreasi Maumerre memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap keterampilan motorik kasar pada anak.

Abstract

terasi budaya Minangkabau dalam pendidikan anak usia dini bertujuan mengenalkan adat istiadat, norma, dan nilai-nilai budaya Minangkabau untuk melestarikan serta mengembangkan warisan budaya tersebut. Salah satu elemen penting dari budaya Minangkabau yang perlu diwariskan adalah Kato Nan Ampek, istilah dalam bahasa Minangkabau yang merujuk pada aturan sosial dan norma dalam penggunaan bahasa sesuai dengan konteks hubungan antara pembicara dan pendengar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan literasi budaya Minangkabau, khususnya Kato Nan Ampek, di TK Negeri 2 Padang. Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi merupakan alat utama pengumpulan data dalam penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa literasi budaya Minangkabau “Kato Nan Ampek” diterapkan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Budaya Alam Minangkabau (BAM) yang dilaksanakan setelah jam sekolah. Dalam kegiatan tersebut, anak-anak belajar tentang berbagai aspek budaya Minangkabau, termasuk penerapan Kato Nan Ampek dalam komunikasi sehari-hari. Evaluasi perkembangan literasi budaya anak dilakukan melalui catatan anekdot dan menilai bagaimana anak-anak mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai budaya dalam kehidupan mereka. Kesimpulannya, implementasi literasi budaya Minangkabau di TK Negeri 2 Padang berlangsung dengan efektif melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, yang memungkinkan anak-anak untuk belajar dan menerapkan nilai-nilai budaya Minangkabau, terutama Kato Nan Ampek dalam kegiatan sehari-hari mereka.

Abstract

The study was conducted because based on the facts found in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Alai about the implementation of the development of gross motor children in which children are less able to coordinate their bodies, difficulty in moving forward and backward movements and lack of flexibility of the child's body in making movements. So to find out how much influence the butterfly creation dance in the development of children's gross motor skills at TK Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Alai is the purpose of this research. The method in this study uses quantitative in the form of Quasi Experiment The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely class B1 was used as a control and B2 was used as an experimental sample, each consisting of 10 children. The9 results of data analysis obtained from the experimental class 84 with SD 7.68 while the control class was 76 with an SD of 7 obtained through the average test. At the conclusion2that there is the0influence of9dance creations on8the development of9gross motor skills in7kindergarten Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Alai.

Abstract

This study aims are creating of a thematic creation song at early childhood for children’s cognitive development in kindergarten.  There are two songs developed in accordance with the theme of animals sub theme land animals  and theme plant sub theme wild plants. Type of the  research is Research and Development (R and D) in accordance with the design forward by Plomp consitsts of three phases : prelimenary research, development/ prototyping phase and assassement phase.  Assassement phase limited to levels One to One, so this research can provided information about the validity dan practicality of the product. Data on validity was obtain from music, media and subject matter axperts from Department of PG PAUD FIP Universitas Negeri Padang, and information about  practicality taken from Teacher of Kindergarten. Data analysis techniques are combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, which qualitative analysis used at prelimenary research and development/prototyping phase, and quantitative analysis uses percentage statistics. The result of the study are (1) the validity of  product is  87.79% in the category of very valid, and (2) The practicality of product  is 83.75% in the category of very practical. Finaly as the conclussion of this study is: The Thematic Creation Song Based on Cognitive Development as the product of this study valid dan practical for Chilhood at kindergarten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan melalui permainan bola bowling pada anak kelompok B di Raudhatul Athfa Bina Ummat Kapujan Bayang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 12 anak kelompok B Raudhatul Athfal Bina Ummat Kapujan Bayang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep numerik meningkat. Pelaksanaan penelitian pada periode I dan periode II menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pengenalan konsep bilangan anak dapat dilihat dari rata-rata hasil observasi kemampuan pengenalan konsep bilangan anak sebelum tindakan yaitu 43% dengan kriteria Mulai Berkembang, pada siklus I mencapai 49,0% dengan kriteria Mulai Berkembang dan pada siklus II mencapai 78,3% dengan kriteria Berkembang Sangat Baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan dapat ditingkatkan dengan bermain bowling.

Abstract

Early childhood creativity is crucial to discuss because it can increase children's self-confidence and explore the various potentials that exist in children, especially during this golden age. It was found that early childhood creativity in one of the kindergarten educational institutions was still relatively lacking because the activities carried out to stimulate creativity were less varied. One way for children's creativity to increase and develop, it is necessary to have activities so that they can show their creativity. There are various activities to make children's creative power increase, one of which is with ecoprint batik activities. This study aims to analyze the effect of ecoprint batik activities on children's creativity. The method used is quantitative research with the Pre-Experimental type, and the research design uses “One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design”. The sample studied was group B as many as 10 children. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the ability of children's creativity in class B2 using ecoprint batik activities, the highest value is 31 and the lowest value is 20, with an average value of 26.1. Based on the value obtained sig (2-tailed) in the B1 class post-test t test 0.00 <0.05, so it is stated to be significant (there is a difference). Thus, researchers can conclude that the hypothesis (Ha) in this study is accepted, namely that there is an effect of batik activities on children's creativity abilities by implementing experimental ecoprint batik activities based on local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Role Playing Game (RPG) media in enhancing Minangkabau natural cultural literacy among early childhood learners at TK Al Hidayah Tabing Padang. A quasi-experimental method employing a nonequivalent control group design was used, involving 20 children aged 5–6 years who were assigned to experimental and control groups. Data were collected through observation and analyzed using SPSS 25.0, with tests for normality, homogeneity, and independent sample t-tests. The results revealed a significant difference in cultural literacy between the experimental and control groups, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a Cohen’s d value of 2.96, indicating a very large effect size. These findings confirm that RPG media is highly effective in promoting cultural literacy in early childhood. This study contributes to the development of culturally responsive education and suggests the integration of RPG-based learning into early childhood curricula as a practical strategy for preserving regional cultural heritage from an early age.
