Abstract

Social behaviour in early childhood is a crucial foundation in the development of character and interpersonal competence from an early age through eating bajamba. This study aims to evaluate the impact of eating bajamba activities on the social behaviour of 5-6-year-old children at Sabbihisma 2 Ulak Karang Kindergarten. This research applied quantitative methodology with a quasi-experimental design. The research participants included 20 children classified into two groups, namely 10 children from class B3 as the treatment group and 10 children from class B4 as the control group, which were determined through a purposive sampling method. The research measurement tool was a test instrument containing nine statement items to assess children's social behaviour. The data analysis process was carried out using the SPSS version 25.0 application, starting with normality and homogeneity testing, which proved that the data were normally distributed and had uniform variance. Then, the independent sample t-test was implemented, which resulted in a probability value (2-tailed) of 0.014 < 0.05 and a calculated t value of 2.730 > t table of 1.734. The output indicates that the bajamba eating activity has a significant effect on improving children's social behaviour. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference in the formulation of a more dynamic and engaging learning approach to support the construction of early childhood social character

Abstract

Locomotor activity of learners is a fundamental aspect of gross motor development in early childhood that requires effective stimulation. This study aims to examine the efficacy of fantasy gymnastics as a stimulation method. This study focuses on analyzing the effect of fantasy gymnastics intervention on the development of locomotor skills of preschool children in one of the Early Childhood Education Institutions in Indonesia. Locomotor activity of learners is a fundamental aspect in early childhood gross motor development that requires appropriate and effective stimulation. The method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest type. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, with a total sample of 10 children from group B2. The instruments used in data collection were tests and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the help of SPSS version 30 software through paired sample t-test with a significance level of α = 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, a significance value of 0.001 was obtained which is smaller than 0.05, so the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Thus, researchers can conclude that the hypothesis (Ha) in this study is accepted, namely that there is an effect of story fantasy gymnastics on the ability of locomotor activities of early childhood students with the implementation of experimental story fantasy gymnastics activities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh film kartun Nussa dan Rara terhadap kemampuan berbahasa lisan anak TK Al Mursalat 2 Kuranji Kota Padang. Peneliti dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen untuk mengumpulkan data kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa TK Al Mursalat 2 Kuranji Kota Padang, dengan sampel gabungan sebanyak 12 anak dari kelas B2 dan B1. Berbagai uji seperti homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan normalitas dilakukan terhadap data yang terkumpul dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan program Windows SPSS 26. Analisis kinerja kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pascates mereka adalah 17,25 dan skor rata-rata prates mereka adalah 12,34. Di sisi lain, kelompok kontrol memiliki skor rata-rata prates dan pascates masing-masing 11,41 dan 13,25. Distribusi data akhir bersifat teratur dan seragam. Uji t sampel independen digunakan untuk mengevaluasi hipotesis, dan tingkat signifikansi yang ditetapkan adalah 0,002 < 0,05. Kemampuan berbahasa siswa di TK Al Mursalat 2 Kuranji, Kota Padang, dipengaruhi oleh film animasi Nussa dan Rara.

Abstract

This research is an observational study conducted by students of the Community Service Program (KKN) from Universitas Negeri Padang in Desa Salak, Talawi Subdistrict, Sawahlunto City. It aims to describe the forms of social interaction among students at Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) YKB Talawi. Social interaction is a crucial aspect of the socio-emotional development of children with special needs, particularly in shaping their independence and social skills. The observation was carried out during several school activities, including the introductory session between KKN students and SLB students, an explanation by the teacher regarding the school, the Dhuha prayer activity, recess time, and when students ate their packed meals. The findings show that students engaged in various forms of social interaction, including simple verbal and nonverbal communication, responses to teacher instructions, and peer interactions in an atmosphere of tolerance and emotional support. The interaction patterns were influenced by the type of special needs, the nature of the activities, and the communication approaches used by teachers and KKN students. These findings are expected to serve as an initial reference for understanding social dynamics in special education settings and highlight the importance of adaptive approaches in fostering the social development of children with special needs.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of a house numbering system in Salak Village as an effort to improve administrative order and public service accessibility. Previously, the village faced challenges such as inaccurate population data, logistical difficulties, and obstacles in emergency services. Through a participatory approach, the village government conducted data collection, area mapping, and systematic installation of house numbers. The research results show an increase in public service efficiency, simplification of bureaucratic processes, and the formation of more effective village governance. This house numbering system also serves as a foundation for developing smart village concepts in the future. This finding is expected to be a reference for other villages facing similar problems in improving the quality of public services and village governance. The purpose of this community service is to improve public service accessibility through addressing, namely the creation of house numbers in Salak Village, which is a form of concern for the environment by helping to provide new house address markers. This aims to facilitate data collection and public services, as well as increase efficiency and accuracy in identifying houses. This community service was carried out through socialization methods and data collection of houses that need to be given house numbers. The result is that 350 houses in Salak Village have received house numbers, consisting of 114 houses in Dusun Pulau Ambacang, 86 houses in Dusun Talangung, and 150 houses in Dusun Ibus. The KKN team completed the house numbering process within 1-7 days. The response of Salak Village residents to house numbering was very enthusiastic, as it helped provide complete identity regarding their house addresses. In conclusion, this program produces a work program that is directly beneficial to the community and is well implemented through the Salak Village addressing program.

Abstract

The research conducted by the Community Service Program (KKN) students of Padang State University in Salak Village, Talawi District, Sawahlunto City aims to evaluate the role of KKN students in overcoming bullying behavior at SDN 13 Salak through socialization activities. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a participatory approach, where data is collected through observation, focus group discussions (FGD), and documentation. The subjects of the study were students in grades 5 and 6 who were actively involved in socialization activities. The results of the study showed an increase in students’ understanding of bullying, changes in attitudes towards bullying, and active participation in discussions and case reporting. Based on the theories of Bandura, Vygotsky, Ajzen, and Bronfenbrenner, the activities that have been carried out have proven effective in forming social awareness and positive attitudes of students towards preventing bullying in elementary school environments..

Abstract

Lubuk Larangan Tradition Research is one of the forms of local wisdom that develops in the Salak Village community, Talawi District, which aims to maintain the balance of the aquatic ecosystem sustainably. In practice, the community jointly designated the Batang Ombilin river area as an area that is prohibited from catching fish for a certain period of time. At the agreed time, residents are allowed to fish as a form of celebration and utilization of conservation results. This research aims to describe and analyze the local values contained in the Lubuk Larangan tradition and its contribution to environmental preservation and community socio-economic empowerment. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with direct observation techniques, interviews with community figures and documentation of activities during the implementation of tradition. Research results show that Lubuk Larangan not only functions as a community-based conservation strategy, but also becomes a means of strengthening social solidarity, environmental education, and additional economic resources for residents. This tradition reflects the harmonious relationship between humans and nature that has been passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, the preservation and strengthening of the Lubuk Larangan tradition needs to continue to be encouraged as a model for sustainable natural resource management.

Abstract

Studi ini berawal dari masalah yang terlihat dalam kemampuan bekerjasama anak-anak yang belum maksimal. Ketika bermain, banyak anak lebih suka bermain sendiri, dan beberapa dari mereka masih kesulitan saat harus bekerjasama dengan teman sebayanya, terutama pada aktivitas yang melibatkan kelompok. Mereka cenderung bersikap individualis dan belum memahami pentingnya kolaborasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas bersama, sehingga kemampuan kerjasama mereka masih tergolong rendah. Kondisi ini terjadi karena kurangnya dorongan dari pengajar serta keterbasan penggunaan berbagai media pembelajaran untuk mendukung perkembangan sosial anak, terutama dalam hal kerjasama. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi seberapa besar dampak permainan estafet hula hoop terhadap kemampuan kerjasama di kalangan anak-anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Kartika 1-63 Padang. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang tidak sepenuhnya murnni. Seluruh anak-anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Kartika 1-63 Padang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini, sedangkan sampel diambil dari dua kelas, yang terdiri dari B1 dan B2, masing-masing engan 12 peserta. Dalam analisis data, metode yang digunakan meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan pengujian hipotesis. Temuan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa permainan estafet hula hoop secara signifikan memengaruhi peningkatan kerjasama anak-anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Kartika 1-63.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh tari Tor-Tor terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Hang Tuah. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 24 anak, 12 anak kelas B1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 12 anak kelas B2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sample yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa tari Tor-Tor berpengaruh terhadap aspek perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Dengan hasil pre-test kelas eksperimen yaitu 22,41 setelah diberikan perlakuan dilakukan post-test diperoleh rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 46,33 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol menggunakan tari gemu famire  memperoleh hasil pre-test  21,25 sedangkan post-test 30. Selisih yang di peroleh untuk rata rata pre-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 23, 91 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 8,75. Kedua kelas mengalami peningkatan namun skor kelas eskperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Nilai sig (2-tailed) menunjukkan angka sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tari Tor-Tor berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak di Taman Kanak- Kanak Hang Tuah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Ninja Warrior Kids activities on gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years in learning activities at Amalan Foundation Kindergarten, Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all Amalan Foundation Kindergarten students in the 2024/2025 school year. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling, with Bintang class as the experimental group (12 children) and Bulan class as the control group (12 children). The experimental group received treatment in the form of Ninja Warrior Kids activities, while the control group followed the traditional game of engklek. Data were obtained through pre-test and post-test which were analyzed using the independent sample t-test statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant influence between Ninja Warrior Kids activities on children's gross motor development. This is evidenced by the significance value (2-tailed) of 0.017 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ninja Warrior Kids activities are effective as an alternative learning media to develop gross motor skills in early childhood. The findings of this research have significant implications for early childhood education, particularly in enhancing motor development through engaging physical activities. By integrating Ninja Warrior Kids activities into the curriculum, educators can promote physical activity that not only fosters gross motor skills but also encourages social interaction and teamwork among children. This experimental research highlights the importance of innovative approaches in early childhood education, suggesting that such activities can be a valuable addition to traditional learning methods
