Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand the morphometric and the meristic characters of the kelabau fish from the Siak, Kampar, and Rokan river populations that could be used as an initial step forconservation. A total of 113 kelabau from Kampar River, 58 fish from the Siak River and84 fishfrom the Rokan River was used in this study. Measurement of 21 morphological characters was conducted using a morphometric truss method. The analysis was carried out using a one-way ANOVA and Discriminant Function Analysis ( SPSS software). Meristiccharacteristics were analyzed descriptively for 30 fish per population. Results indicates that among 21 morphometrical characteristics, 19 characters shown a significant different (P <0.05) and 2 characters were not significantly different (P> 0.05). This result indicates that fish population from all sampling areas shown similar characteristics. The discriminant analysis results show that the specific characters of the O. melanopleurus were A5, A2, A6, B1and D4. Scatterplot results indicate that the Rokan River population was separate from the Siak and Kampar River populations, and the morphology of the fish from the Rokan River population was slightly different from those of the Siak and Kampar River population. The meristic characteristics of fish obtained from all sampling areas were relatively similar. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi karakter morfometrik dan meristik ikan kelabau dari Sungai Kampar (Desa Pelalawan), Sungai Siak (Desa Kota Garo Kecematan Tapung Hilir), dan Sungai Rokan (Desa Sekapas Dusun Kualu Angau) yang dapat digunakan sebagai langkah awal konservasi. Sebanyak 113 sampel ikan kelabau dari Sungai Kampar, 58 ikan dari Sungai Siak, dan 84 ikan dari Sungai Rokan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengukuran 21 karakter morfologi dengan metode truss morfometrik. Analisis dilakukan dengan Analisis Varian Satu Arah (ANOVA) dan Analisis Fungsi Diskriminan (DFA) dengan perangkat lunak SPSS.. Karakter meristik dianalisis secara deskriptif pada 30 sampel setiap populasi. Hasil uji signifikansi terhadap 21 karakter yang diuji, 19 karakter berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dan 2 karakter yang tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05), mengindikasikan semua populasi memiliki karakter yang sama. Hasil analisis diskriminan menunjukkan karakter yang menjadi pembeda A5, A2, A6, B1, dan D4. Berdasarkan fungsi persebaran yang mengelompokkan populasi Rokan terpisah dari Siak dan Kampar, dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakter morfometrik populasi ikan kelabau di Sungai Rokan berbeda. Sebaliknya populasi ikan kelabau di Sungai Siak dan Kampar memiliki karakter yang sama. Karakter meristik tiga populasi Sungai Siak, Kampar dan Rokan relatif sama.

Abstract

Ikan keting [Mystus nigriceps (Valenciennes 1840)] merupakan ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis di beberapa daerah. Secara morfologi, termasuk dalam kelompok ikan bersungut (catfish) dari Ordo Siluriformes dan Famili Bagridae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ciri morfometrik, pola pertumbuhan, dan faktor kondisi ikan keting yang berada di hilir Sungai Cimanuk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling di tiga stasiun riset, yaitu Desa Ujungjaya Kabupaten Sumedang (St.1), Desa Palasari Kabupaten Majalengka (St.2), dan Desa Jatibarang Kabupaten Indramayu (St.3). Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus hingga September 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ikan keting yang tertangkap pada Stasiun 1 dan Stasiun 2 memiliki karakteristik morfometrik yang sama, pola pertumbuhan bersifat allometrik negatif (b<3) dengan nilai b di Stasiun 1 adalah 2,958 dan di Stasiun 2 adalah 1,966 yang artinya pertambahan panjang lebih cepat dibandingkan pertambahan bobot. Faktor kondisi (K) di Stasiun 1 relatif lebih tinggi daripada di Stasiun 2, yaitu antara 0,99 – 1,16 dengan rata-rata sebesar 1,08; sedangkan di Stasiun 2 antara 0,98 – 1,06 dengan nilai rata-rata K sebesar 1,03. Ikan dari Stasiun 3 tidak dilakukan analisis lanjutan karena tidak memenuhi persyaratan statistik.

Abstract

West Java Province is one of the potential areas of freshwater fisheries resources development in Purwakarta District. The utilization of development resources is directed to achieve comparative advantage and competitive advantage as an effort to encourage the growth of regional economy. Purwakarta is one area that has the potential of the aquaculture potential to be developed. One type of aquaculture that has a high economic potential such as tilapia nirwarna fish (Oreochromis niloticus), but in the institutional aspects of marketing there are still constraints from producers to consumers. This research aims to analyze marketing institutional of Nila seed (Oreochromis niloticus) through Integrated Supply Chain Management approach. The type of data used in this research is primary and secondary data. The analytical tool used marketing channels and supply chain risk by testing the validity and reliability of data. The technique of taking respondents using snowball sampling with the number of respondents 30 consisting of suppliers of nirwarna tilapia fish breeders to nirwarna tilapia seed cultivators. Based on the results of the research concluded that the analysis of tilapia supply chain risk has a value of 1.0 means it has a high risk. Based on the research results of the aquaculture business in Purwakarta is divided into two types of business, namely the enlargement effort and fish hatchery business. The marketing institutional of tilapia nirwarna seeds through Integrated Supply Chain Management approach in Purwakarta district through hilirization of tilapia fishery through the stage of input production supply and downstream of tilapia fishery fishery through fish farm institution through production and distribution output stage.

Abstract

Cimanuk River is the second longest river in West Java, flowing from Garut to Indramayu. One of the sub-watersheds of the Cimanuk River is the Cipeles River in Sumedang and Majalengka. Genggehek (Mystacoleucus marginatus) is a type of native fish (indigenous) found in these two rivers. The purpose of the study was to determine growth performance including size distribution, growth pattern and condition factors. The research was conducted by conducting a survey in the dry season in September 2020. The method used was the fisheries biology method. Measurement and data analysis were conducted at the Aquatic Resources Laboratory of Padjadjaran University. The number of fish caught was 231 with a length range of 45 mm - 116 mm and a weight range of 1,1 g – 37,4 g. The growth performance of fish living in Cimanuk River was different from that living in Cipeles River. In Cimanuk River had positive allometric with regression equation W = 4.10-6 L3.2171 and W = 6.10-6 L3.1449. Weight growth was faster than length, condition factor was between 1,27 and 1,33. The growth performance of fish growing in the Cipeles River had a negative allometric growth pattern. The length growth was faster than the weight with the regression equation W = 7.10-4 L2.1182 and W = 7.10-5 L 2.7434, R2 = 0.36 and 0.92, condition factor K = 1.01 and 1.35.

Abstract

Shrimp cultivation has always been a star in the world of Indonesian aquaculture and today it is still one of the national priority aquaculture commodities. The market needs of domestic and foreign shrimp cultivation can be met by the high economic value of shrimp. There are many models of cultivation designs and shrimp farming systems that have been developed and used by farmers ranging from traditional to modern. The development of cultivation technology by utilizing marginal land by using plastic as a container for cultivation maintenance is called "Busmetik" technology, relatively small container sizes between 600m2 - 1000m2 are used in order to encourage young entrepreneurs or those who are new to aquaculture. Shrimp cultivation requires large funds both in investment and operational costs in its activities so that young entrepreneurs become pessimistic in starting a shrimp farming business. The banking sector can be convinced by young entrepreneurs with Busmetik technology because it can provide mutually beneficial solutions between entrepreneurs and banks. There are several things behind this Busmetik technology, namely shrimp which is currently the main focus in the cultivation business, has a stable market, the quality of the environment continues to decline, it is difficult to manage ponds with an area of >2000m2, the types of soil used for pond plots to support the Director General of Aquaculture in the shrimp farming program.

Abstract

Bandung City is one of the regions in West Java Province that has culinary tourism potential, one of which is processed seafood culinary products. Seafood is one source of animal protein that is widely consumed by the wider community. Processed seafood products have many variations of flavors with prices that are relatively affordable by consumers. This research aims to analyze consumer preferences and decision making in purchasing processed seafood products. The method used in this research is survey. Conducting research in March - July 2019 in the city of Bandung. Primary and secondary data used. Primary data collection techniques using purposive sampling while secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency Bandung City Office. To analyze consumer preferences used attitude measurement analysis as measured by a Likert Scale. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to analyze which attributes are most considered in the selection of processed seafood products. Based on the results of research preferences and consumer decision making in the purchase of processed seafood products are the taste of processed seafood products, the nutritional content of processed seafood products, the location and facilities of processed seafood products and the prices of processed seafood products.

Abstract

Sistem Akuaponik merupakan sistem saling menguntungkan antara tanaman dan ikan, sistem terintegrasi sederhana antara akuakultur dengan hidroponik dimana limbah budidaya ikan berupa sisa metabolisme dan sisa pakan dijadikan sebagai pupuk untuk tanaman. Prinsipnya, akuaponik menggunakan sistem resirkulasi dimana air yang berasal dari wadah pemeliharaan ikan akan dialirkan kembali ke dalam wadah tersebut melalui proses filtrasi. Saat ini terdapat beragam konstruksi akuaponik diantaranya deep water culture (DWC), nutrient film technique (NFT) dan media bed. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis konstruksi sistem akuaponik yang paling efektif digunakan untuk kegiatan budidaya ikan sehingga menghasilkan kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan ikan yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif eksploratif dari berbagai literatur dan hasil-hasil penelitian yang telah dipublikasikan, baik dari buku, jurnal nasional ataupun jurnal internasional. Berdasarkan perbandingan dari hasil penelitian terdahulu dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa sistem akuaponik dengan konstruksi NFT lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan konstruksi lainnya yaitu DWC dan media bed. Sistem akuaponik dengan model konstruksi NFT menghasilkan pertambahan berat pada ikan lele sebanyak 11,25 gram/ekor dengan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan lele sebesar 93%, pada ikan nila menghasilkan rata-rata tingkat kelangsungan hidup sebesar 95%, dan pada ikan muray cod menghasilkan kelangsungan hidup 100% dengan laju pertumbuhan spesifik 1,09%/hari.

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp cultivation has been carried out for quite a long time in Indonesia, the more advanced the era of vannamei shrimp cultivation techniques have developed very rapidly. The main goal of technological developments for vannamei shrimp is a high level of production. The vannamei shrimp culture system with the bioflox method can be interpreted as living organic matter that blends into lumps. The clumps consist of various aquatic microorganisms including bacteria, algae, fungi, protozoa, metazoa, rotifers, nematodes, gastrotricha and other organisms suspended with detritus so that the flocs in shrimp can be used for feed. While the Running water system is the movement of water needed to keep the particles in suspension. If biofloc particles settle, anaerobic slurry pockets often form which can release ammonia or sulfides; sulfide can be directly toxic to animals and can inhibit nitrification, thereby leading to a further increase in toxic nitrogen compounds. For Recirculation Aquaculture system is a shrimp rearing system using the recirculation method without any water change where the wastewater is managed with several filters. The RWS (running water system) system has the advantage that the movement of the water system makes it easier to collect nutrients so they are easy to dispose of and control. The second advantage of the process is that it facilitates nitrification and with a stocking density of 750,000 m2, initial weight of 3.2 grams, final weight of 11.4 grams, daily weight of g/day 0.745, total feed 7450 and survival rate of 85%, food conversion ratio 1.11

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah upaya memberdayakan suatu kelompok yang rentan terhadap kemiskinan. Pemberdayaan masyarakat dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Budidaya ikan hias kini sedang menjadi primadona di sektor perikanan. Hal ini menjadi pendorong Bidang Perikanan, Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian, Kota Bandung dalam memberdayakan masyarakat Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler mengenai cara budidaya ikan hias yang baik dan benar. Kegiatan pelatihan di Kantor Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 Juni 2022. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah memperluas pengetahuan mengenai cara budidaya ikan hias, memberdayakan masyarakat dalam peningkatan keterampilan, dan memberikan ide peluang usaha yang dapat menambah pendapatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah presentasi, tanya jawab, dan praktik langsung cara berbudidaya ikan hias. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan, pemberian materi, dan praktik langsung. Kegiatan pelatihan cara budidaya ikan hias di Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler dapat diselenggarakan dengan baik dan lancar sesuai dengan rencana kegiatan yang telah disusun. Peserta kegiatan sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan cara budidaya ikan hias ini. Peserta aktif bertanya selama proses diskusi berlangsung. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menambah wawasan dan menumbuhkan ketertarikan peserta terhadap budidaya ikan hias platy, corydoras, duboisi, dan denisonii. Selain itu, menumbuhkan pula semangat wirausaha peserta yang sudah pernah berbudidaya ikan untuk hobi.

Abstract

AbstractCipeles River is a sub-watershed of the Cimanuk River that flows in Sumedang Regency, Indonesia. The upstream is located in Sukasari District and flows into Tomo District. This study aimed to determine the fish community structure in the Cipeles River during the dry season. This research was conducted from September to December 2020 using field observation methods and purposive sampling techniques at three stations (Station 1 at 6°48′59.5″S and 108°01′22.5″E; Station 2 at 6°48′56.2″S and 108°01′32.3″E; and Station 3 at 6°47′3.7″S and 108°05′44″E) data analysis employed descriptive-comparative. Parameters observed are abundance, diversity, dominance, uniformity, community structure, and water quality. The results showed that from 566 caught fish the diversity index is low with a value of 0.86–0.89, a moderate dominance index with a value of 0.55–0.62, and a low uniformity index of 0.16–0.17. Based on the three index values, it can be concluded that the fish community structure the dry season in the Cipeles River is categorized as depressed, caused by the high influence of total suspended solids that have exceeded the water quality threshold value for fisheries (according to regulation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021 on Spatial Management) with concentrations ranging from 67 mgL-1 to 74 mgL-1.AbstrakSungai Cipeles merupakan sub DAS dari Sungai Cimanuk yang mengalir di Kabupaten Sumedang, Indonesia. Hulunya terletak di Kecamatan Sukasari dan mengalir ke Kecamatan Tomo, Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas ikan di Sungai Cipeles pada musim kemarau. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September hingga Desember 2020 dengan menggunakan metode pengamatan lapangan dan teknik purposive sampling pada tiga stasiun (Stasiun 1 di 6°48′59.5″LS dan 108°01′22.5″BT, Stasiun 2 di 6°48′56.2″ S dan 108°01′32.3″BT, dan Stasiun 3 di 6°47′3.7″LS dan 108°05′44″E). Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif-komparatif. Parameter yang diamati adalah kelimpahan, keragaman, dominasi, keseragaman, struktur komunitas, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 566 ikan yang ditangkap indeks keragamannya rendah dengan nilai 0,86–0,89, indeks dominansi sedang dengan nilai 0,55–0,62, dan indeks keseragaman rendah 0,16–0,17. Berdasarkan ketiga nilai indeks tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa struktur komunitas ikan pada musim kemarau di Sungai Cipeles dikategorikan tertekan, disebabkan oleh tingginya pengaruh total padatan tersuspensi yang telah melebihi nilai ambang batas kualitas air untuk perikanan (menurut Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 22 Tahun 2021 tentang Penataan Ruang) dengan konsentrasi berkisar antara 67 mgL-1 sampai dengan 74 mgL-1.
