Abstract

This study investigates factors influencing AI adoption in education, focusing on the roles of Digital Touchpoints, Tech Savvy, and knowledge-sharing practices among students and instructors. Using an explanatory quantitative design, data were collected from 213 business students through a digital survey. The model measures Digital Touchpoints, Tech Savvy, Gen. AI Adoption, Instructor KS, and Student KS, with a 7-point Likert scale used for responses. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and PLS-SEM for model evaluation and hypothesis testing. The results show that Digital Touchpoints positively impact both Gen. AI Adoption and Tech Savvy, with Tech Savvy further enhancing AI adoption. Student KS significantly moderates the Digital Touchpoints-Tech Savvy relationship, whereas Instructor KS does not. Mediation analysis reveals that Tech Savvy mediates the effect of Digital Touchpoints on Gen. AI Adoption, though mediated moderation effects are not significant. These findings underscore the importance of digital engagement and peer interactions in promoting tech skills and AI adoption in educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of performance appraisal on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 161 private sector employees from three major districts in South Kalimantan Province. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that performance appraisal does not have a significant direct effect on employee performance but does significantly affect job satisfaction. Job satisfaction also has a significant impact on employee performance and mediates the relationship between performance appraisal and employee performance. These findings suggest that a well-designed performance appraisal system can enhance job satisfaction, which in turn positively influences employee performance. The practical implications of this study highlight the importance of organizations designing performance appraisal systems that not only assess but also develop employees. Theoretically, this study reinforces the understanding of the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between performance appraisal and employee performance and contributes to the advancement of human resource management practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh efektivitas audit internal, kompetensi sumber daya manusia, dan manajemen pengetahuan terhadap kepatuhan terhadap ISO 9001:2015 serta keberlanjutan sistem manajemen mutu pada sebuah unit teknis pelayanan publik di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), berdasarkan data dari survei terhadap seluruh pegawai unit tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas audit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepatuhan ISO dan keberlanjutan sistem mutu. Sebaliknya, kompetensi dan manajemen pengetahuan tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa audit internal menjadi faktor kunci dalam menjaga keberlanjutan sistem mutu ISO, terutama di lingkungan organisasi publik dengan keterbatasan sumber daya. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi perumusan strategi peningkatan mutu berbasis ISO yang lebih kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Simpulan akhir menegaskan bahwa efektivitas audit memiliki peran strategis yang lebih besar dibanding kepatuhan administratif atau kompetensi individual dalam mendorong keberlanjutan sistem mutu di sektor publik.

Abstract

Social commerce is a new development of e-commerce by using social media platform to interact on the internet. Current studies only examine the model on its own basis by using direct effect only. This research examines both of the model together to reveal which factor that give the greater effects against consumer trust and purchasing intention both direct effect, indirect effects and total effects. Drawing a literature from marketing and information systems (IS) the author proposes a model to understand the relationship between social commerce construct and the brand image against the purchasing intention in Instagram. The study utilized Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) methodology to test the model. The research object was the @fujifilm_id instagram followers as many as 99 respondents. Results shows that social commerce construct are likely to give greater effect against the purchase intention rather than by the brand image whether in direct, indirect and total effect. Yet, the brand image is a crucial part of a brand which is needed to be maintained against customer perspective. Implication, limitation, discussion and future research direction are also discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji: (1) pengaruh dimensi kualitas pelayanan (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy) terhadap kepuasan pelanggan Toko BMC Motor Banjarmasin, (2) pengaruh dimensi kualitas pelayanan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali, (3) pengaruh kepuasan pelanggan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali, dan (4) pengaruh tidak langsung dimensi kualitas pelayanan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali melalui kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif dengan pendekatan Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Sebanyak 100 responden dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) dimensi kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, (2) dimensi kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali, (3) kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali, dan (4) terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung yang signifikan antara dimensi kualitas pelayanan terhadap minat berkunjung kembali melalui kepuasan pelanggan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan dimensi kualitas pelayanan untuk membangun kepuasan pelanggan dan minat berkunjung kembali. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji: (1) pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) terhadap minat beli produk fashion promo terbatasGenerasi Z di e-commerce, (2) pengaruh marketing mix terhadap minat beli, (3) pengaruh Marketing Mix terhadap FOMO, dan (4) peran FOMO sebagai mediator pengaruh Marketing Mix terhadap minat beli. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 responden dari Generasi Z di Banjarmasin, dan data dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) FOMO berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli, (2) marketing mix juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli, (3) Marketing Mix berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan FOMO, dan (4) FOMO memediasi hubungan antara Marketing Mix dan minat beli. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa tekanan psikologis dari rasa takut tertinggal tren dan strategi pemasaran yang mencakup produk, harga, dan promosi secara efektif meningkatkan minat beli Generasi Z dalam e-commerce. Abstract

The application of technology in human resource management in the education sector aims to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing school personnel data. This study aims to analyze the application of technology in human resource management in the education sector, focusing on using the Personnel Management Information System and the Human Resource Information System to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing personnel data in schools. This study uses a qualitative design with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The study results indicate that applying technology through the Personnel Management Information System and the Human Resource Information System can improve efficiency, transparency, and professionalism in human resource management in education. However, the main challenges are the uneven distribution of infrastructure and limited digital skills in remote schools. This study implies the importance of continuous digital skills training for educators and improving technological infrastructure in schools, especially in remote areas, to support the practical application of technology in human resource management in education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze digital transformation in improving the quality of education in madrasahs, focusing on optimizing teacher performance. The approach used is qualitative with a case study type, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data are analyzed using reduction, display, and verification, which helps trace the main themes related to technology implementation in learning and teacher professional development. The study results indicate that the application of technology in various aspects, such as online learning platforms, technology training for teachers, and digital tools, can overcome socio-economic challenges and increase teaching effectiveness. Technology allows teachers to access broader and more flexible educational resources and strengthens communication with parents, improving the quality of education in madrasahs. The implications of this study are the importance of integrating technology in education to address socio-economic disparities and improve teacher performance, which will support achieving more inclusive and quality education goals.

Abstract

Culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting local economies, particularly by creating job opportunities and maintaining service stability for consumers. However, fluctuations in employee performance often affect the consistency of service quality. This study aims to analyze the role of employee performance evaluation in maintaining service stability within culinary MSMEs. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, using observations, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to business owners and employees of culinary MSMEs in the study area. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns linking performance evaluation systems with service quality. The results indicate that regular, feedback-based, and development-oriented performance evaluations can enhance employee motivation, responsibility, and service consistency. Conversely, evaluations that are unilateral or lack transparency tend to decrease work enthusiasm and lead to unstable service performance. Therefore, implementing participatory performance evaluations is essential to achieve stable and sustainable service delivery in culinary MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance evaluation system of village government officials based on the principles of Islamic Human Resource Management (IHRM) in the context of transformation towards digital village governance in the era of Society 5.0. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of the Karang Sari Village Government apparatus, Kusan Hulu District, Tanah Bumbu Regency. The results show that the village apparatus performance evaluation system is still administratively oriented and does not fully reflect the principles of justice, trustworthiness, and ihsan as Islamic values. However, there are efforts to strengthen accountability and digitization through the implementation of an online performance reporting application. The discussion of this study emphasizes that the application of IHRM can strengthen the integrity of officials while increasing transparency and performance efficiency in digital village governance. The conclusion of the study shows that the integration of Islamic values with digital technology can create an evaluation system that balances spiritual and professional dimensions, supporting the realization of a competitive village administration in the Society 5.0 era.
