Abstract

Bacterial panicle blight in rice plants caused by Burkholderia glumae. These bacteria interfere with the grain filling process so that the grain is not filled and can cause yield losses of up to 75% on pathogenic infested land. This study was conducted to determine the effect of B. glumaesuspension volume and inoculation method on the development of bacterial panicle blight. The research was conducted on vegetative and generative rice plants using a factorial completely randomized design with the volume of bacterial suspension as the first factor and the inoculation method as the second factor. The results showed that the higher the volume of the B. glumaesuspension inoculated, the higher the severity of bacterial panicle blight in rice plants. Both the inoculation and injection methods can cause the same disease severity. Besides, the severity of bacterial panicle blight in the generative phase is more severe than in the vegetative phase

Abstract

This study started from the problem of students who felt that their teaching skills were not optimal. Even though students had studied the basics of teaching skills. Then, street smart as a concept of intelligence obtained from experience can play a role in teaching skills. Because street smart is a form of intelligence in addition to academic knowledge. This study aims to include: 1) Street smart of PGMI IAIN Curup students, 2) Pursuing skills of PGMI IAN Curup students, 3) The relationship between street smart and teaching skills of PGMI IAIN Curup students. The research method used is quantitative correlation. The research sample used 60 students. The results of the study showed that overall the data generated from the questionnaire as a research instrument showed a positive relationship between the two variables, then compared with rtable with a significance level of 5% with 60 respondents, rtable was obtained at 0.254. It is proven that rcount is greater than the rtable value (0.565> 0.254).

Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kedisiplinan siswa. Salah satu strategi yang digunakan untuk menciptakan ketertiban adalah penerapan reward dan punishment. Reward diberikan kepada siswa yang berperilaku baik, sedangkan punishment diterapkan untuk yang melanggar aturan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan reward dan punishment di Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Qomariyah Kota Bengkulu, serta dampaknya terhadap motivasi dan disiplin siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei, yang melibatkan kuesioner dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian reward dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan kedisiplinan siswa, sedangkan punishment yang dilakukan secara edukatif dapat menekan perilaku indisipliner. Namun, penerapan reward dan punishment yang tidak tepat dapat menimbulkan efek negatif. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi sekolah untuk mempertimbangkan faktor psikologis siswa dan konteks penerapan dalam mengelola sistem reward dan punishmen.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis web adalah pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan internet dan teknologi digital untuk menyampaikan pelajaran, menyediakan sumber daya, dan mendukung interaksi siswa dan guru. Pembelajaran berbasis web mencakup penggunaan platform online yang memungkinkan siswa mengakses pelajaran, mengerjakan tugas, dan menerima umpan balik dari guru secara virtual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji, menganalisis, dan merangkum efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis web dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa SMA dalam menulis teks karya ilmiah . metode penelitian narative literature review dengan beberapa rujukan yang diperoleh dari database science direct dan google scholar, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis lima artikel yang dipublikasikan rentang terbit antara tahun 2020 hingga 2023. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis web dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembelajaran teks karya ilmiah , baik dari segi pemahaman konsep maupun keterampilan teknis. Pembelajaran berbasis web juga memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar secara mandiri dan kolaboratif, sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan mereka dalam proses belajar. Hasil dari lima artikel ini menyoroti tren, kelebihan, dan tantangan dalam implementasi pembelajaran berbasis web di lingkungan sekolah menengah atas.

Abstract

In the realm of education, the instruction of early reading in first grade of Elementary School holds a pivotal role in establishing the foundational literacy skills for students. However, educators often encounter challenges in delivering these instructional materials. One proposed solution is the utilization of teaching aids in the form of animated videos. The aim of this study is to analyze the necessity of using animated video teaching materials for early reading in first grade of elementary school and to comprehend the extent to which teachers' needs are related to the instruction of early reading for their students. Through this research, it is anticipated to provide recommendations to all educational stakeholders to understand and address the requirements for the utilization of digital teaching aids, specifically animated videos, in the instruction of early reading in first grade of elementary school. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method involving 30 class teachers from 23 elementary schools as the sample. The findings indicate that educators still tend to rely on conventional teaching aids, particularly concerning the utilized instructional media. It is found that there is a need for diverse and complex digital teaching materials, specifically animated videos, as well as the necessity for support from all relevant stakeholders to fulfill the educators' needs in elementary schools. The implications of this research are expected to enhance students' proficiency in early reading instruction for first-grade students using animated video teaching aids in the current digital era.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of flipped learning on classroom interaction and student autonomy among secondary school EFL students involved in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (P5) project. A mixed-methods design was used, integrating both quantitative and qualitative data to gain a deeper understanding of the research questions. Data were collected through a survey and interviews. The survey, completed by 536 students, assessed students’ perceptions of flipped learning using the adapted Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Data analysis was conducted using Rasch analysis, which helped identify outliers and assess the reliability of the survey instrument. Qualitative data, gathered from interviews with 10 students, were analyzed thematically to explore how flipped learning influenced students’ classroom interaction and autonomy. The findings indicate that flipped learning improves both classroom interaction and student autonomy, although challenges related to technology access and adapting to independent learning were noted. These insights offer valuable guidance for educators and curriculum developers aiming to implement flipped learning effectively in secondary education.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat keterampilan komunikasi bahasa Inggris siswa di sekolah di Thailand, melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis budaya. Program ini dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian kegiatan observasi pembelajaran, dan refleksi kolaboratif antara dosen dan mahasiswa dari Indonesia dengan siswa dan guru lokal di Thailand. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa integrasi budaya mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan respon siswa. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan pemahaman lintas budaya dan memperkuat hubungan bilateral Indonesia–Thailand dalam bidang pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aimed to understand how teachers and students perceived the use of the STIFIn concept in improving students' speaking skills. The STIFIn concept, which was based on five types of human intelligence—sensing, thinking, intuiting, feeling, and instinct—was believed to help design more personalized and effective learning strategies. The study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews with teachers and students. Motivator Quran Darussalam, a high school Islamic boarding school, is located at the research site. The steps used to collect data included conducting interviews, making observations, and reviewing documents related to teaching speaking skills. Data reduction, data display, data condensation, and conclusion drafting are methods of data analysis. The results of the research were that the use of the STIFIn concept helped teachers to recognize the characteristics of students' intelligence and thus to adapt teaching methods more appropriately. Students also reported an improvement in their self-confidence and speaking skills following the implementation of the method. However, there were still some challenges in adapting the method to different types of student intelligence, which required in-depth training and understanding on the part of teachers. Overall, the STIFIn concept offered a new approach that could enrich language teaching in the classroom.

Abstract

AbstactUrgency curriculum and gender inclusive learning system because there are still many gaps in the world of education, especially in three aspects, namely access, participation and benefits and msih lack of participation of female learners in learning, low skill of women in technology mastery, there are still many curriculum and teaching materials that is bias gender and there is still a benefit gap in the curriculum and learning gained by male and female learners. It is the background of the importance of curriculum and gender inclusive learning. The curriculum and inclusive gender learning is a curriculum that integrates gender equality principles (taking into account equality of access, participation, control, benefits, and ensuring no gender discrimination in its various forms), or in curriculum documents in an attempt to achieve social justice. While gender-inclusive learning is learning that recognizes and considers the different needs, interests, experiences, and ways of learning of students and students caused by the construction of gender in their environment. Furthermore, to analyze the implementation of curriculum in gender inclusive learning the author presents the rubric of syllabus analysis and the rubric of analysis of learning implementation plan so that the implementation of learning is in accordance with the principles of gender equality.Keywords: Urgency Curriculum,  Gender Inclusive Learning

Abstract

The role of parents in the formation of a mature personality in children is necessary, because parents are educators and the foundation of the child's personality, the basic personality will be useful or contribute to future experience in the future in this case the authors find the existence of the forms of personality, confident, unfriendly, easily giving up, being rude and being rude, disrespectful and crybaby-the personality form is very influential to the personality because the child is familiar with the personality this is a bad thing and will affect the next life and can harm yourself and others, both within the school environment and the social environment of the community. The purpose of this study is to know how the child's personality in Class IV, how the role of parents in shaping the child's personality at home, the impact of the role of parents on the child's personality in school.The type of this research is qualitative descriptive field research data collection is done by interviewing observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman model analysis with steps: reduction, display data, and clocusing drawing / verification. Test the credibility of the data used is tringgulasi techniques and sources.The results of research are: 1) Personality of children of Class IV SDN 06 Pal 100 with lack of parent role at home hence personality less good like not confident, not polite, not tough and easy to give up, not polite, not self study. 2) The role of parents in shaping the personality of the father's son acts as an educator, seeker and provider of livelihoods, source and giver of protective affection and a sense of security in the family. Mother acts as an educator, a source and a giver of compassion. 3) The results of the role of parents at home to the child's personality in school in terms of learning if children get the role of parents then the child will appear more ready in learning because it is motivated at home, but otherwise if the functions and roles of parents are not done well then children will be seen in their daily lives such as when the child is back from school children become lazy in learning and when in school children are often noisy in the classroom and how the child mingle with peers also more lead to mischief.
