Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Role Playing game untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa di SD Negeri 89 Palembang pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan Pretest-Posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh kelas II SD Negeri 89 Palembang yang berjumlah 28 Siswa laki-laki dan 32 siswa perempuan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Sampel Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes berbentuk essay sejumlah 20 soal pertanyaan, Observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sampel t-test. Hasil analisis data diperoleh = 0,000 < dari = 1,671 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan menggunakan metode Role Playing game untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa SD Negeri 89 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penghambat membaca permulaan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas 2 SD Negeri 89 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas 2C dan wali kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penghambat membaca permulaan dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi lemahnya daya ingat siswa, kurangnya motivasi belajar, dan variasi kemampuan daya tangkap siswa. Faktor eksternal meliputi kurangnya perhatian dan bimbingan dari orang tua, minimnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru, dan kurangnya fasilitas penunjang seperti pojok baca. Dengan mengetahui faktor-faktor tersebut, diharapkan guru dan orang tua dapat memberikan pendampingan yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa.

Abstract

Learning media is an important factor in the learning process. One of the problems of education in Indonesia is the limited use of learning media in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital storytelling media in Indonesian language learning at SDN 158 Palembang. The research method used was the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE development model. The results of the study showed that the validity aspect obtained from the validator or experts obtained an average percentage of expert validation results of 92% so that it falls into the "very valid" criteria. The results of the user trial were 94%, the small group trial was 94.8%, and the big group trial was 92.72%. Based on the percentage of the trial results, it can be concluded that digital storytelling media obtained an average percentage of 93.84% so that it meets the "very practical" criteria. The post-test assessment data obtained a percentage of 92.59%. So it can be concluded that the digital storytelling media developed falls into the "very effective" criteria. So it can be concluded that the development of digital storytelling media in Indonesian language learning at SDN 158 Palembang is very feasible to use because it obtained the categories "very valid", "very practical", and "very effective"

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the syllabus method assisted by poster media on the beginning reading skills of class I students of SDN 93 Palembang. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental type with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection in this study was by means of a test question. The sample in this study was class I B as an experimental class consisting of 28 students. Data analysis in this study used the SPSS 25 application and the results showed that there was an effect of the syllabus method assisted by poster media on the beginning reading skills of class I students of SDN 93 Palembang as seen from the results of the sig output analysis (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 then H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Thus, there is an effect of the syllabus method assisted by poster media on the beginning reading skills of class I students of SDN 93 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of big book media on reading comprehension skills of grade II students at SD Negeri 30 Palembang. The method used is True Experimental Design with the type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample in this study were grade II B students as the experimental class and grade II D as the control class, each totaling 28 people. Data collection techniques used observation, tests and documentation, with instruments in the form of multiple choice questions. Data analysis techniques used include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that the average data value of the experimental class pretest was 55.36, the average posttest value of the experimental class was 75.00, while the average pretest value of the control was 52.50, and the average posttest value of the control was 55.36. The output of the normality test shows that the pretest-posttest data of the control class and the pretest-posttest of the experimental class are normally distributed, with a significance value of the pretest of the control class of 0.200> 0.05 and the posttest of the control class of 0.129> 0.05, while the pretest data of the experimental class is 0.196> 0.05 and the posttest of the experimental class is 0.200> 0.05. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence of the influence of big book media on the reading ability of class II students at SD Negeri 30 Palembang

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA yang masih kurang dan guru kurang tepat dalam memilih model pembelajaran sehingga kurang efektif dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran IPA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Palembang. Metode yang gunakan dalam penelitian ini adah metode quasi eksperimental design dengan pola nonequivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kelas V.A dengan jumlah siswa 14 orang dan V.B dengan jumlah siswa 15 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan program Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based learning efektif terhadap keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Palembang. Pernyataan tersebut di Buktikan dari hasil data-data yang sudah ada, di mana hasil data akhir nilai rata- rata posttest menunjukkan kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai rata-rata yang lebih besar yaitu 95,0 dari pada nilai rata-rata di kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 70,6. Pernyataan tersebut juga didukung dari hasil pengujian hipotesis yang menggunakan uji t menunjukkan nilai sebesar 6,317 dan sebesar 2,051, sehingga memenuhi kriteria yaitu thitung > ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan pernyataan tersebut maka hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning mempunyai keefektifan terhadap keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa kelas V dapat diterima kebenarannya.

Abstract

This Development research aims to produce valid and practical UNO learning media for grade IV Elementary School (SD) students. This Development research uses the Research and Development (R&D) type of research using the ADDIE Development model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis (Analyze), planning (Design), Development (Development), implementation (Implementational), Evaluation (Evaluation). The results of the UNO media Development research on cube and block material are declared valid, this can be seen from the three media, material, and language experts who obtained an average score of Analysis, Design, Development Implementation, and Evaluation. The product that was tested for validity by the three validators obtained an average score of 88.03% with the criteria "Very Valid". The product that was tested for practicality by one to one, small group, and large group obtained an average score of 93.69% with the criteria "Very Practical". The product that was tested for effectiveness by grade IV C students obtained a score of 78.57% with the criteria "Effective".

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Index Card Match learning model onoptimizing mathematics learning outcomes in the material of whole numbers ofgrade II students of SD Negeri 077 Palembang. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The researchsample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class using the IndexCard Match model and the control class using the conventional method. The datacollection instrument was in the form of 10 multiple-choice questions given duringthe pretest and posttest. The results of the analysis showed a significant increasein learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. Thisis evidenced by the results of the t-test which obtained a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) < 0.05, which indicates a significant effect of the use of the Index CardMatch model on students&#39; mathematics learning outcomes. This model has beenproven to be able to increase students activeness, motivation, and understandingof the material of whole numbers through interactive matching of question andanswer cards. Thus, the use of the Index Card Match learning model can be analternative effective learning strategy in improving mathematics learning outcomesin elementary schools.

Abstract

In Indonesia's diverse society, implementing Pancasila's third principle—"Persatuan Indonesia" (Unity of Indonesia)—is crucial for fostering patriotism among elementary students. Despite formal curriculum inclusion, challenges persist in effectively translating abstract unity values into meaningful learning experiences. This study investigated how the third principle of Pancasila is implemented to foster patriotism among fourth-grade students in classroom settings. A qualitative descriptive case study was conducted at SD Negeri 68 Palembang involving 30 fourth-grade students and one homeroom teacher. Data were collected through systematic classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis over three months (October-December 2024). Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman framework, incorporating data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing with triangulation to ensure credibility. Findings revealed high frequencies of collaborative behaviors aligned with unity principles, including active cooperation (91.7%), respectful communication (87.5%), and inclusive participation (79.2%). Student interviews demonstrated strong comprehension of unity concepts, with 93.3% understanding unity as cooperation and 90% expressing shared national identity. The teacher employed systematic pedagogical strategies integrating character education with academic content through storytelling, democratic conflict resolution, and experiential learning activities. However, 20% of students exhibited passive engagement patterns, indicating need for differentiated instructional approaches. Results align with social cognitive theory and support democratic patriotism development rather than blind conformity. The study confirms the effectiveness of teacher-led character education when combined with systematic classroom practices. Findings contribute to character education literature by providing empirical evidence of successful Pancasila implementation and practical frameworks for educators seeking to enhance patriotic attitude development among elementary students.

Abstract

A virtual tour is an audiovisual medium in the form of images or videos of a certain location/place, allowing it to be used virtually without having to visit the location in person. The purpose of this study is to determine students' interest in IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) learning using virtual tour media among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 16 Palembang. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the lack of learning media used during the learning process, resulting in low student enthusiasm during IPAS lessons.This study is a quantitative descriptive research using a survey method. The sample consisted of 27 fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, and documentation, with data analyzed using descriptive statistics.The analysis results show that virtual tour media can increase students' interest in IPAS learning. Based on the student response questionnaire, the average score was 83.35%, with 25 students showing a high level of interest when using virtual tour media in IPAS learning, representing 92% of the 27 respondents. Therefore, virtual tour media can increase students' interest in IPAS learning in grade IV at SD Negeri 16 Palembang. Consequently, the use of learning media is essential in enhancing the interest of elementary school students.
